As the name of this chapter may suggest, it is very predictable. Almost all you will read here has been done in countless books before it. But do Not let this discourage you! An exciting story will reward those who read on.

Our story begins on a dark and stormy night at Sweet Apple Acres. All are asleep in bed tucked up nice and safley.The only odd thing is that there is but one unbolted barn door and all the doors were closed at sunset. The gale is stirring up all the hay. Apart from this everything is as it should be until...
"AAAAHHH". A blood curdling scream reverberated around the barn from Young applebloom's bedroom.

As you may have noticed, these notes have become frequent. i will not do them on all the chapters, but only when i need to divulge important information.Nonetheless i would not let this discourge you from the storyline.i will also attempt to lengthen my chapters.

Within seconds of Applejack hearing this scream, she was practicly breaking down her little sisters door in a desprate struggle to get to her.Because Applebloom always got nightmares, she insisted that her room be completly sealed at night.But this meant nobody could reach her in a hurry.
Finally the hinges gave way and as she rushed in the locked room, she was met with a horrible sight.Her younger sister on the floor.Dead.

"whats this?" she asked herself chocking back the tears welling in her eyes. it was a small piece of paper lying in her sisters mouth.It read "i will take something from each of the elements of harmony. you just had the bad luck to be chosen first." after reading this she could not be brave any more and ran out into the night towards ponyville.

Fluttershy had been having a perfectly normal morning.She had woken up, fed the rabbits, woken the squirrels and was half way through making her breakfast when suddenly ther was a sharp knocking on the door.As she awnserd she realised it was Rainbowdash.Being Fluttershy she was not the best of friends with Rainbowdash.One was quiet and peaceful while the other was a full on racer pony with a need for speed.But Fluttershy awnserd nonetheless.No Sooner had she opend the door that Rainbowdash shouted out
"somethingreallybadhappendandyouneedtocometosugarcubecornerNOW!"And with that she flew off leaving a rainbow trail behind her.

Once the group of friends had assembled at sugarcube corner, the conversation began.
"Who would have done this?" cried Applejack
"i bet it was the evil enchantress!" shouted Pinkie Pie
"please Pinkie we found out about her ages ago"cut in Rarity
"I just know it was some no good-"but Rainbowdash was interrupted.
"WILL EVERYPONY PLEASE BE QUIET!" screamed Twilight Sparkle. suddenly all were silent "Can I just say that, although this is awful the note did say that the murderer was going to take something from each of us.This means he will probably strike again.How did he strike last Applejack?" she asked
"why thats just it"she replied"the room was locked and there was not a mark on Appleblooms body."
