"Let go, and you'll be safe," promised Applejack. Those words. The words that dropped twilight deep into the Everfree forest. Or so everypony thought.

"You're lying!" accused Twilight.

"Now listen here," assured Applejack, "what I'm saying to you is the honest truth."

"Okay..." said Twilight doubtfully. She let go, and Fluttershy swerved to save her. Rainbow lagged. Fluttershy panicked and couldn't catch Twilight.  

"Ahhh!" Twilight screamed. The bottom of the canyon grew closer, closer, closer. Suddenly, a great amount of force slammed into Twilight at a great speed. Just before she blacked out, Twilight realised it wasn't hard enough to be the ground. It was a tree! Twilight realised that she may lose some of her memory. But that was better than going back to face her.

Earlier that day, Twilight was stacking books in the library. Suddenly, her door slammed open and a blue pony with a very red face marched in.

"TWILIGHT!" shouted Rainbow Dash, "YOU TOLD!" Twilight had mixed feeling of terror and confusion inside her.

"Told w-what?" stammered Twilight.

"Like you don't know?" Rainbow fired at her, "you told about me shoplifting!"

"What are you talking about?" asked Twilight. Rainbow's eyes widened in horror.

"You didn't know?" Rainbow said in horror, "You can't tell anypony, or.... or you'll pay!"

Twilight gulped, "Pay h-how?

"You'll see," said Rainbow dash.

Later, when Twilight went on a walk, she saw the three crusaders out playing. She smiled as she saw the joy on their faces. Her smile soon turned to horror as she heard them talking.

"When I grow up, I wanna be just like Rainbow dash!" said Scootaloo with pride.

"Yeah, she's awesome!" agreed Sweetie belle.

"She's amazing!" added Apple bloom. Twilight couldn't take it anymore.

"Rainbow Dash is a shoplifter!" she burst out. The three crusaders gasped. Scootaloo looked heartbroken. She ran away with tears streaming down her face.

"Scootaloo!" called Sweetie Belle. But Scootaloo was long gone.

Rainbow Dash was sitting in the alicorn café, thinking she might have gone a little hard on Twilight. The door burst open, and an orange pegasus filly sped in. Seeing Rainbow, she jumped onto her lap.

"What's wrong squirt?" asked Rainbow.

"Twilight s-said you were a sh-shoplifter!" blurted Scootaloo. Rainbow's concerned face suddenly turned serious. Twilight would pay. She was sure of it.  

And she did. That's why Twilight fell off the cliff. All because of a little accident. All

Because Twilight said. All because rainbow lagged.

Twilight finally managed to jerk open her eyes. She sat up and scratched her head. Where am I? Wait, who am I? she thought. She observed her surroundings carefully. A tree, and seven bushes... Do I... Live here? she thought.

"That's it!" she shouted, "I do live here! I'm an adventurer! And my name is uh.... Explorer!" Twilight (or maybe I should say Explorer) was happy with her new name. After that rather large bang to the head, she had undergone a complete personality change and lost her memory. Twilight was in there, somewhere, but Explorer had been stuck in there for to long and it was time for her to shine! Soon, after discovering a field full of banana trees, Explorer relaxed. She then saw an blue pegasus with a rope in her mouth at the top of the cliff! She traced the rope down and sure enough, there was a pink earth pony and an orange pegasus filly climbing down the rope. The two ponies climbing down the rope got to the bottom. The second they let go, the blue pegasus cut the rope.

"Twilight probably told you too!" she screamed. The pink pony and the orange filly gasped. She had cut the rope so they would be stuck down there and unable to tell anypony about her shoplifting.

"Rainbow! Come back!" Screamed the filly. They walked past a few bushes and a tree. They were amazed by what they saw. A treehouse made entirety from branches and palm leaves. Then they saw the purple unicorn they came here looking for. Lying against a tree. Eating a banana.

"Twilight!" they shouted. Explorer turned her head around and didn't see anypony else.

"Are you talking to me?" she asked.

"Yes," replied the pink pony, "Why wouldn't we be?"

"My name is Explorer, not Twilight. And who are you?"

"It's me, Pinkie pie. And Scootaloo?"

"Don't know you."

Pinkie pie and Scootaloo were confused and concerned by this.

"She must have hit her head on the way down," said Scootaloo. In a sudden moment, Pinkie's breathing got a lot heavier. She put her hooves on the side of the gorge and pushed hard.

"What's going on?" said a worried Scootaloo.

"Well it's obvious that she has claustrophobia," explained Explorer.

Pinkie's hair deflated and she started slowly going mad. What could Scootaloo do? She was trapped in a deep gorge with a claustrophobic Pinkie Pie and Twilight who had lost her memory and become Explorer!

Rainbow was starting to regret trapping the three ponies down there. She felt a pang of guilt for throwing her life-long admirer down the gorge. But it had to be done. They knew. They would tell. She had now committed two crimes. 1. Shoplifting. 2.Trapping three ponies in a gorge. Suddenly Rainbow remembered Pinkie Pie's claustrophobia. She would go mad down there! But Rainbow was unaware of Twilight's change to Explorer. She would have to lie. She would tell everypony that Applejack threw Twilight down on purpose, throw Applejack down the gorge, and become the town hero! But what about Fluttershy? I'll think about her later. thought Rainbow.

Fluttershy was scared. Three of her friends had disappeared. Now Rainbow Dash looked all guilty and upset. Applejack looked scared. If Applejack look scared, things must be serious!
