Crossover with Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (concept-wise)

Six years have passed since the day the miasma came to Equestria. No one know where it came from, or why it's there. All they know is how dangerous it can be.

The government has all but dissolved. The Princesses are gone from the land, though it comforts many a pony to know they are still pushing the sun and the moon every day and night.

Even the Elements of Harmony have been long lost.

Only the crystals keep the miasma from ending the lives of every pony in the land. And these guardians, left as a gift by Celestia herself, aren't perfect. Without a replenishing of the myrrh, the essence of good, purity, and harmony, the crystals will fail. Once a year, every still-intact town and city in Equestria sends out a "crystal caravan" to hunt down the myrrh hidden in the dangerous reaches of the land. Three trees, three drops, and they can return home to rest easy for another year.

This year, Ponyville's caravan falls under some unfortunate circumstances and the caravaners-in-training need to take their place, perhaps prematurely. Ready or not, Ponyville has no choice.

Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle need to step up to the plate. Not just for themselves, but for the lives of everyone in Ponyville.
