Here you go

Shadow, literally something that follows us forever when a light is shone. Something that wanted to destroy such light, to overcome. Something. No, somepony we were going to protect no matter what the cost. There were no need for introductions, either because we knew one another too well or that either side won't need to know the other once this was over with.

With Legit gone, everypony on the field had stood still as if time itself had done so. Unicorns with their horns enchanted, Pegasi with their wings opened and earth holding a steady battle stance, we patiently awaited for the first to make their move. Not a breath, not a move, not a word.

"So, are you guys just going to stand there and wait? I have an enter school to burn and I am a very impatient colt," said Shadow boiling my blood. I was the one to take the first step forward only to be halted be a black hoof.

"No Graze, you are on defense with those three," Dark said motioning to Grim, Vinetion and Aroma,"Let us handle this." He was right, our team had lost that fight.

"WATCH OUT!" Shot shouted taking immediate action as Shadow raised his wings, giving them a mighty flap. Stomping his hooves, Crackshot created a stone wall which defended us from most of the pressurized air slash. Nopony being hurt,  those lashes could have been fatal on contact as looking back to the stadium walls behind us, there were dents in exact shape of the slashed wind.

"Such a nuisance, you're going to die anyway!" Shadow exclaimed still on his side of the field.

"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Breeze shouted grabbing CrackShot like a mini-gun. On both hindlegs he used as support while using his fore to maintain a proper upright position, he asked, "You ready for this buddy?"

"I'm not really sure, seems kinda gay," he then received a glare from Breeze," but, for the school!" Shot shouted with an instant change in mind.

<Wow, what has taken over Breeze?>

[He is the one doing the pussywhipping my dear friend]

"I am heavy weapons pony and this is CrackShot," Breeze began whirring Shot's tail as it slowly became aglow, "he weighs 160 pounds and fires a rate of 5000 spells per minute. I dare you to survive this."

"Well come at me mother fucker," Shadow came back in an instant, "Give me your best sh-"

*Click-Click* Wait, click? Did I hear that right? *GAT GAT GAT GAT* He began firing his friend, scattering magical blasts all over the arena but mainly towards Shadow.

[I know this isn't the time or place, but shouldn't this be called, friendly fire?] *SMACK* Grace back slapped him [Yeah yeah, love you too, you filthy whore]

"RAGGGHHHH!" Breeze shouted continuously for approximately thirty seconds through the firing, pitching dust and dirt everywhere. Coming to a stop, our vision of Shadow was completely blinded as we awaited for the dust to settle. "I know what you guys are thinking, did Crack fire 2200 spells? Or was it 2500?"

"I counted 2396, and lookey here, not a scratch on me," Shadow's voice sounded through the dust. Once parting, it was true! His body had seemed unharmed by anything! "C'mon, give it another go," he tapped his head," first one is on the house."

Gritting his teeth, Breeze looked at me not knowing how that was possible! He survived over two thousand spells!

[Time to snipe]

"Shot, do you mind?" I asked kindly for his assistance, "I'm only going to need one shot."

Nodding with a complaint, he walked towards me as I picked him up like a rifle. "I really don't like being manhandled."

"Too bad, we all have to make sacrifices." Grabbing his tail, I pulled down at his tail ninety degrees, back, forth and upwards once again reloading a different gun. Taking deep breaths, I tried to calm my nerves yet, I couldn't align a perfect shot.

Suddenly, I felt a hoof on my shoulder, "Wise of the mind.  Strength of the body. Calm of the soul." It was Vinetion who had spoken and yet somehow, this had put me to ease. I looked at her and nodded showing that I was ready, allowing her to move back.

Taking a deep breath, I rehearsed those very same lines. 'Wise of the mind.'

< To overcome the challenges of life> I took a deep breath.

'Strength of the body.'

[To protect yourself and others from harm] I aimed for Shadow's head.

'Calm of the soul.'

~To ward off the poisons of anger and grief.~ I fired a single shot directly at his head awaiting the results.

*BOOM!* The ear deafening blast sounded off traveling through the air. Mere inches away from Shadow's head, it was immediately extinguished by an invisible force field.

"Hahahahaha! You thought that could have killed me?! ME?! YOU GUYS ARE A FUCKING WASTE OF MY TIME!" Shadow laughed at our attempts," No sort of magic can harm me! None!"

Well, at least we knew the reason why he was unharmed, but now all we had to do was get rid of that blasted shield!

"We'll see about that," Dark said confidently taking the spotlight.

"How long do you plan to keep these foalish games up?"

"No longer!" Dark exclaimed anchoring his hooves upon the floor, "Ready for the team combo, Ice?!"

"You don't mean the Maelstrom do you?!" Ice asked shockingly.

"I'm ready to end this once and for all man, are you?" Dark said looking at Ice as only a brother could have.

Ice watched back and nodded, "I'm ready."

Standing side by side, they both anchored their hooves to the floor charging for something I could have bet my life on as powerful.

The skies darkened above the duo as Dark gritted his teeth with beads of sweat dripping from his face. An electric pulse zapped through the clouds as Dark focused more. "Aghhhh!" He shouted with elevation of volume," AAGGHHHH!" The skies itself couldn't hold the electricity much longer as the buildup was reacting violently striking randomly at the floor. "AAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!" He screamed louder and continuously now as one massive bolt of continuously drawn lightning burnt the field making it's slow progression to Shadow.

It was Ice's turn now.

The field itself dropped in temperature as the air around us entered hypothermic degrees. Breathing and watching our own breaths, Aroma and I supplied the remaining members of our team with a drawn flame from our unicorn and pegasi magic. Stomping his hooves, Ice summoned a well rounded figure of one hundred ice spikes towards Shadow at high speeds, catching up towards the lightning which continuously scarred the field.

"C'mon Ice and Dark! WOOOO!" Aroma shouted supporting them as their attacks continuously barraged the shield of magic. I couldn't believe what I was seeing though, my friends were using up most of their strength. I mean if you saw them, they were dripping tons of sweat and even a few droplets of blood! They just won't have given up so easily! The lightning just kept on striking defying the whole 'it doesn't strike in the same place' line while the ice spikes forced itself to puncture the shield.

*Crickle- Crack* Wait, was that correct? The shield was actually giving in! "C'mon guys! Just a bit further!" I supported them.

Looking a bit displeased at how his shield was cracked, Shadow's horn glowed a dark red, taking control of the ice and redirecting it towards us.

Spikes clashing against one another, Ice pushed himself to his limit trying to match the strength of Shadow's as his was simply overpowered. Aiming towards Ice, to weak to move, the shards quickly made it's way with the intent to kill. Opening his wings, Dark lost focus of his lightning taking an immediate dive towards Ice, pushing him out of the way only to get cut across his wing. Losing momentum and balance, Dark with Ice in his hooves fell to the floor with a roll becoming an easy target.

A wicked smile grew on Shadow's face as he positioned the remaining Ice spikes aiming at the duo. "Two down, a school to go."

---

"--thus ending my hour long lecture of the budget!" Principal Shadow Mark finished his speech. Looking at his staff, he was extremely disappointed at their behavior. "WAKE THE FUCK UP!"

"HUH WHA?!" Every teacher in the room immediately woke up confused from the shout.

"What time is it?" Anarchy yawned.

"Time for lunch?" Chaser smiled.

"Time for me to go home?" Cross hoped.

"Time for me to get high?" Omnius hoped as well but soon received stares from the other teachers, "What? It's 4/20."

"Time for me to get the fuck out of here," Charge began his trot out.

Mark smiled evilly and spoke,"By the way Anarchy, congrats once again on the baby, did you two decide any names for it yet?" And then Charge began his trot back to the group.

"Well, I have been thinking of names recently, but one I truly like most for her would be Butterfly Effect, or Effect for short if it's a boy," Anarchy answered.

"Or Butter if it's a girl," Omnius laughed with Chaser giving each other bro-hoofs.

"Hey Cloud, do you know what it's like to be turned into a lobster?" Anarchy rose an eyebrow.

"Well, I guess Butter would be all over me then," he laughed extremely loud holding his gut with Omnius. Bemused as ever from their foalish humor, Anarchy snapped her fingers pouring hot coffee on top them both. "AGH! HOT HOT HOT! AGGHHHH!!" Both screamed in pain wiping their eyes from the coffee.

*SLAM* Legit burst through the doors of the teacher's lounge trying to catch his breath, "SHADOW.....BACK....STADIUM... FULL!"

"What is he saying?" Cross asked the group who only shrugged," C'mon Legit, deep breaths," he placed a hoof on the student which was immediately slapped away.

"SHADOW IS BACK FIGHTING IN THE STADIUM!" Legit then took a deep breath again to finish his sentence, "HE IS AT FULL POWER!"

"WHAT?!" They all shouted in unison.

"Graze and the rest of us are fighting him! They can't hold on much longer!"

"What are we going to do sir?" Cross asked.

"What do you think Red?" Charge looked at him, "We are going to fight."

"Finally! I get a rematch with that bitch!" Chaser pumped his hoof.

"Knife-wrench here! I'm ready to kill!" Omnius patted his wrench upon his hooves.

Taking immediate action as principal, Shadow Mark commanded the group, "Anarchy! Teleport all the students out of the school!"

"Yes sir!" She replied. About to snap her fingers, Charge pulled her aside and into a kiss. Looking her in the eyes, he told her.

"Take care of Effect, I promise I will be back okay?"

"What about the students?"

"Yeah, them too," Charge pulled her into an embrace before finally teleporting, leaving the father of her child behind to fight.

---

Confused as ever, every mare and colt alike which had enrolled in the school, appeared randomly before the structure itself. A few mumbles and mutters of curiosity were heard but only a few stood out.

"Hey, what's the big idea?!" Vinyl demanded to know.

"Yeah, we were just in a very important music session!" Octavia said beside her.

"Calm down ponies, I assure you nothing is wrong, but the other teachers of this school are handling the problem as we speak," Anarchy tried her best to keep chaos down to a minimum....Oh the irony.

"HOLY BUCK WHAT IS THAT?!" A random voice shouted from the crowd. Pointing to the stadium where a gigantic draconian like skeletal structure emerged, everypony awed and some even feared for what had been going on.

A few seconds later, a single stallion only the size of a dot from the distance ascended to the heights above and quickly dove breaking the sound barrier releasing a wave of tribal black flames, clearing the skies of any cloud.

The wings of that single pony grew twice as large taking shape of those of a phoenix as the tainted barrier of sound was shattered.

"Hey Ditzy! You seeing all this?" Lyra questioned the mare beside her, "Ditzy?" Or that was once beside her.

"Oh buck! Ditzy's gone!" Lyra panicked shaking BonBon, "Wait! Where's the dragon?! Oh buck! Graze is going to kill me!"

-Five Minutes Before NecroFlare-

"DON'T WORRY GUYS! I GOTCHA!" Grim shouted through his pants. The two ponies watched in awe as a gigantic dragon's claw made of bone defended them from the onslaught of ice. Looking up, they met face to face with the bony dragon. "Meet my ultimate defense, Stallord!"

"You guys had your fun! Now it's our turn!" Aroma exchanged places with Dark and Ice as Vine and I exchanged with Breeze and Shot.

"Graze, he is busy fixing the shield, now it's our time to attack!" Vine exclaimed taking notice of our enemy.

"Magic won't work!" I fought back against her," Ice and Dark are completely exhausted from that! If we lose anymore, we won't win!"

"We don't have to use magic! All we need to do is use one strong physical attack," Vinetion explained, "If you haven't noticed Graze, he hasn't moved yet!"

"Okay, lets say we do break it, and then what?!" I shouted again with no trust in her plan," we would be all out of energy and I can't just leave us here to die! Tell me Vine! What next?!"

"Next, we have faith in our teachers," Vinetion then looked at Light, "We are doing this for the school and him."

<All it takes is one!>

[Just one attack to leave him open for the teachers and they can take the rest from there!]

{Easier said than done guys!}

Looking back at Light unconscious, his breaths were at a normal pace showing signs of life, but yet, at what cost? He was still alive but what if we had lost, was this all a waste?

~No Graze, it's only a waste if we didn't try~ Grace was right, if we didn't try there was no way of knowing. Can't say that we didn't try right?

With determination and faith in my friends, I looked at them, some who had given their best shot, some who had given out all they've got and now, there were us, those who were going to try our best.

"One final attack huh?" Grim looked at Vine, "You ready for this?"

"More than you'll ever be," she snickered with a single stomp of her hoof. Beads of sweat rolled down her face trying to maintain the roots and ropes of vine, slowly intertwining with one another and around the bones of the dragon's skeletal structure giving it a lifelike look.

Anatomy of a dragon, muscular system of one and yet, something was missing.

"Ready brother?" Aroma broke my concentration. Oh yes! That's what was missing, fire! "Do you remember how our old saying goes?"

[ No shame, no pride?]

"Ahahaha, no Kill!" Aroma laughed. Honestly, how could she be so joyous at a time like this? Clearing her throat she then spoke up and awaited for me to finish, "Give me fuel." Wait, I know this!

"Give me fire." I continued, lending out my wing with a small black ember at the end.

"Give me that which I desire," she took the flame with her magic and lit the beast aflame.

This was it, our last chance. Our perfect defense and offense. If this plan doesn't work, then....

No, it will work.
