"Hey Cross? What are you doing?" I said as we had all woken up at five to catch up on lost time.

Cross was flapping his wings sending out some "Pegasus Magic" "I'm going to overdose Ice on some healing magic, he is going to need it but it shouldn't last more than eight hours unless he exerts himself."

"Oh okay! Cool! How ya feeling buddy?" I looked at Ice who was standing still accepting the healing wind.

" I've been worse."

"Think you can make it? I mean with the sun and all," I said only concerned of my friend.

" We will see when it comes."

Not much of a talker he was but nevertheless he was still one of my friends and I was glad that he was better.

" Graze?"

"Yeah?"

" Thanks for looking out for me.... I heard how you behaved when I fainted.... just thanks." He then lent out his hoof.

I slammed my hoof into his with a silent nod and walked off to Vinyl and Octavia.

"...I'm sorry I behaved the way I did and also thanks for being calm and understanding when I did."

" Not a problem Graze!" Vinyl said with a smile.

" I was only looking out for you, it's what friends do."

I looked at both of them then reached in the middle and hugged them both.

" Ahahaha Okay Graze, save your love for Ditzy," Vinyl chuckled.

I then walked back to the entire group and announced," ARE WE ALL READY TO GO HOME?!!"

"YEAH!!" They all shouted.

Dark looked at Ice and gave him a friendly nudge," You sure you can handle it? Or you gonna faint like last time?"

" Oh-ha-ha I will reach there first before you," Ice said smugly.

" Oh really? Well, looks like it's a race, just don't faint and cry for help," Dark said with a tease.

" S.M.D Bro.... S.M.D," Ice said.

[ S.M.D MEANS SUCK MY DICK FOR VIEWERS WHO DON'T KNOW!]

" Nah I choke on small things," Dark then laughed at what he had said.

" Ohhhh this is going to be a long trip," Ditzy said.

" Eeeyup," I simply agreed as I walked by her side.

-------------------------Back at the hospital----------------------------

Shadow had now awoken still feeling the pain from the battle and still mostly able to move with a few broken bones. He then got up and began making his way out of the hospital.

"How is he able to move? Wasn't he dosed on heavy tranquilizers?" A doctor said.

" He has at least broken bones, all over his body!"

" HEY! YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO LEAVE YET!" A nurse mare said.

He just walked ignoring the mare, only with a slight limp with one thing on his mind," I'm coming for you Graze."

With a flew weak flaps of his wings, he ascended into the skies and teleported.

----------------------Two hours of walking ----------------------------

" Ughhh!! How much longer?" SeaBreeze whined.

" Bro! I swear if you ask that again I will call ShadowBlade for you!" I joked.

" Stop guys..." Mr. Charge said as he held out a hoof and his wings to prevent us from moving.

*ZZTTTT-PING* A dark light appeared in the middle of no where (Which exactly where we were) and soon disappeared. A large figure came out of the light and walked on the desert surface.

IT WAS SHADOWBLADE! BUT WHAT WAS HE DOING HERE?!

I got a few unappreciative glances from Dark, Shot and Ice. SeaBreeze was just amazed by the convenience of what I had just said.

" Holy --" Lyra said amazed.

" Shit!" Bon Bon finished her sentence amazed as much as her marefriend.

" I WANT TO FINISH OUR FIGHT GRAZE!" He shouted at me.

I examined his body, he wasn't fully rested and his balance seemed to be a bit off but he had those eyes that wanted to kill. No matter how badly I wanted to end it, we still had to get Ice out of here," You are in no condition to fight and neither do I want to."

He looked at me," If you don't, I will kill every single pony here starting with the mares."

I shot him a disgusted glance," I don't understand you, not one bit. You lost the damn fight, you look like you can't even win a race and you expect to fight me?"

" YOU DID NOT WIN THAT FIGHT! NO PONY DID!"

He was correct but I still did not want to finish this... not now but the only way to get passed this was to fight," Alright, I agree....."

" WAIT WHAT!?" All of my friends had said knowing what he was.

At that signal he rushed at me with blinding speed as I stood still and said one final statement," But--" He stopped dead in his tracks with his hoof only an inch from my face," Tell me, why is there a need for this?"

He blinked his eyes in a second of confusion and began," Hmph, I guess I can tell you since it won't matter afterwards..."

----------------------FLASHBACK------------------------

My family and I lived inside the EverFree forest, we were an enormous family and it was my birthday. I wasn't always this colour, it just changed after one day... One faithful day.

My name was Light when I was and I had a pure white coat and golden stripes. It was my birthday as I had said and my entire family was there that day. It was the last happiest moment of my life.

Soon after all the cake and festives, my mother had told me to go into my room and as we were about to open presents. They wanted to surprise me, so I sat there in my closet, waiting and waiting....What was taking them so long?

I began to worry about my parents and with worried me more was a piercing scream throughout the entire building.  To my shock and dismay, I saw my Uncle's corpse fly into my room as it was flung knocking me over. My coat was tainted with his blood as my mind was mentally scarred from what had now happened.

I heard my mother scream," SAVE THE KIDS!! MAKE SURE THAT THEY AREN'T KILAIEEEEEEEEEEEEE *GURGLE*EEE.... "

At this point I bolted out my room and to my horror I saw my whole family dead, some were beaten, cut, abused but all had the same faith.

One of the four attackers that were in the room had seen and rushed me. I was in a state of pure hatred, violence, rage and blood lust. I had only noticed as the change inside me had affected my appearance, my coat went from a pure bright white to a death black, and the gold stripes changed to a blood red. My eyes went from a deep caring blue to a bloodlust red.

My mane then changed just like his body, to black and red but now it looked metallic and had an edge to it that seemed evil. Two demonic horns sprouted on either side of my head. Even my voice changed, from the normal happy high voice of a young colt, to the enraged voice of a mass murderer.

My horn then light up, and nothing happened for a few seconds. The four assassins then began to laugh, "OH now what?! You’re just going to try and poof us away hmm. * CRAAACK*

The loud audible crack was heard followed by another and another, cracks began to form in the estates marble floor. Within ten seconds, the estate had been turned into rubble and was now flying at intense speeds around the assassins in a whirlwind of shrapnel and black lightning.

"YOU KILLED MY FAMILY AND NOW I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER!"

Then a mark appeared on my flank, my cutie mark. It was one of a sword going through a pony’s skull and blood dripping off of the sword. Then the shrapnel started to come into contact with the assassins. One by one there bodies were shredded apart, with earsplitting screams of pain and agony.

A few ponies were horrified at how his life had been, at how he had to experience such an event at such a young age.

I on the other hand didn't feel a thing, it's just how I was, what he had done was still wrong," So, you think fighting me will bring your family back?" I questioned him with a very calm voice.

"WHAT?! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK ABOUT THEM!" Shadow shouted.

" If you are looking for my sorry, there will be none, only pity. Pity is for those who are weak, I pity none of my friends, they are here standing strong because of their lives....You, you are just here living in the past. You are a lost soul and ignorant, if you believe you can win here...I have no time for ignorance," I began to walk away," C'mon guys lets go."

No matter how harsh I sounded, it was who I was and he was himself, you can't just change that.

" DON'T YOU DARE WALK AWAY FROM ME!! IF YOU DO I WILL MURDER EVERYPONY HERE!!" He tried to make me lose my train of thought with death sentences.

I stopped and turned to look at him as the others continued to walk,"..... You know I would never allow that, not even in my millionth life. Just get lost and don't bother me again."

Shadow unwrapped his wings as wide as they can, showing a bit of strain he released a huge flap sending out a shot of concentrated wave of air.

I opened mine out protecting for the ones I cared about, the weak blast of air gave me a slight cut on my wings but nothing much, just frivolous.

I walked forward only to be held back," GRAZE!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!" said Ditzy.

"....Not alone," Ice had said with Pinkie by his side just in case he had another heat stroke. He was powering through and I was happy he had made the effort but I couldn't allow him to get hurt. None of them.

" Graze, you don't have to," Twilight said with Dark.

" YEAH! HE IS JUST A BIG MEANIE!" Pinkie replied.

" Ah don't think this is the right idea but give him a good buck from me," AppleJack said as Shot looked at me, he knew what I was going to do.

" Uhmm.. Graze I don't think you should do this...but...uhm...good luck," Fluttershy said with SeaBreeze close by her side.

" You don't need to do this... we can just go...he cannot harm us," Luna had commented with RedCross near her.

" I'm sorry but he wants a fair match and a deal is a deal, just look at him." I replied to all of them, he was having a hard time standing up but his will of blood lust had driven him to this point, it could last him a few more seconds.

" Guys, just protect the mares, from anything..... and I mean anything!" They all nodded," Give me ten seconds."

" HA! ALL OF YOUR CORPSES WILL LITTER THIS DESERT!" He mocked me.

".....Fuck You."

With my ready signal he dashed at me with still amazing speeds. HOW WAS HE ABLE TO DO ALL OF THIS?!

I tried to move out of the way but he was too fast as he had caught my mane, dragging my body as he hovered over the surface of the earth. He then flung my body as a ragdoll far passed the clouds.

He charged for a few seconds and then leaped off the ground aiming his horn at me. I released my wings catching a drift and stopping my constant spinning from the pelt.

From my high altitude I rushed him as well, pray Celestia for a miracle."Please Celestia! Help me!" I picked up on my acceleration and dashed down the sky towards Shadow. The white cone of air resistance began to form around me, Shadow stopped in mid flight and looked at what was happening.

He paused looking at my friends and flew towards them at his immense speed.

"NOOOOO!!!!" I couldn't let this happen, I didn't see it until a few moments ago but the same black flames outlined my wings and tainted the sound barrier black. I flapped my wings putting all my strength and faith in them.

Shadow was aiming for someone specific.....Ditzy.

*BOOM*

I had broken the sound and my NecroFlare Boom engulfed the sky with it's black flames, clearing each and every cloud in the sky. Not only was the sky engulfed but my wings as well represented a black phoenix's own as it had previous days.

" HEY! YOU ARE FIGHTING ME NOT THEM!" I had lost control all of my senses that he dared tried to attack them.

I had reached him only a few metres away from my group of friends, grabbed him and flew him into the sky.

I looked at him, my thoughts were being controlled by Kill as I was blinded with hatred towards this pony....no this monster who dared attack my friends, I choked him with both hooves as he showed a bit of restraint," LOOK HOW PATHETIC YOU ARE! FOLLOWING THE SAME FUCKING PATH AS THOSE ASSASSINS! DO YOU HAVE ANY MORALS OR RESPECT FOR YOUR FAMILY?!"

He was about to grunt a few words through his breaths, I choked him some more," NO! DON'T EVEN FUCKING TALK! YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT!" At this time I was still flying with mac-4 speeds towards the tip top of the altitude.

"NOW! I AM GOING TO BREAK EVERY FRICKING BONE IN YOUR BODY! YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO ANYMORE HARM!" Somewhere deep in my mind, I knew he was going to survive this next move. Something a bit more..... deadlier.

I made a sharp U-Turn in the clear Stratosphere where I was only seen as a small dot at my friends. I choked his body as he showed signs trying to grasp for a breath. I dove towards the surface of the earth as it came even closer and closer. The sound barrier broke twice more as me wings grew even larger and larger covered within the black flames. I was now going at mac-12 speeds and maintaining control. The surface rapidly approached my view and I placed Shadow's body as a pony shield to protect me from the ground.

Impact was going to take place in ten seconds, I just hope my friends were smart enough to figure out what was going to happen.

" WHAT IS HE DOING! HE JUST BROKE THE BARRIER THREE TIMES!" Twilight exclaimed.

" HE CAN'T CONTROL THE SPEEDS! IF HE DOES AND HE MAKES IMPACT WE ARE DEAD!" Shot said.

"WHAT?!" Dark shouted.

" IF HE MAKES THE IMPACT, THE SHEER FORCE OF HIS SPEEDS CAN WIPE OUT EVERYTHING IN THIS AREA! " Twilight shouted.

"WE NEED TO FIND SHELTER FAST!" Breeze exclaimed.

"WHAT IS HE THINKING!!" Lyra shouted.

" ....He isn't thinking....he won't ever put any of us in harms way!" Ditzy said.

Everypony was in mass confusion in chaos, as they saw a black trail of flames move closer towards the ground. Everypony except Ice.

" EVERYPONY GET BACK!!" He shouted as he rushed to the front and slammed his hooves into the ground.

Massive rows and columns of Ice pillars rose from the floor, thick and fully concentrated with Ice's power it was opaque and nothing could have been seen through it.

*KA-BOOOOM* A massive black mushroom shape cloud emerged from the impact with rings forming around its stem.

The Ice pillars with their combined strength stood their defense against the heat had soon succumbed to the thermal energy melting one by one.

" YES ICE!! YOU CRAZY SON OF A BITCH!" I looked as the ice pillars rose and stood tall with one another.

I focused all my energy into this hopefully last move using Shadow's body as a shield as we were now about to make " extremely soft" contact with the desert.

*KA-BOOOOM*

A massive black mushroom cloud formed from the impact with many rings which were once the NecroFlare Boom's widened by the stem of the cloud, dust and smoke had filled the atmosphere blinding my vision.

The dust which pitched in the air had now settled as I looked upon the body of ShadowBlade as he tried to limp towards my friends.

"DON'T YOU DARE ATTACK THEM! YOU ARE FIGHTING ME! ONLY ME!" I wasstill in Killjoy state on top of Shadow as he tried to aim for Ditzy one last time.

My wings still had the black flare in them as I picked him up and THREW HIM ON THE GROUND!!

I looked at him and punched him in the face scorching him," YOU THINK THEY WANT THIS FOR YOU!! LOOK AT YOURSELF ALL YOU THINK IS OF REVENGE!! FOR FUCKING WHAT??!! IT'S NOT GOING TO BRING THEM BACK!"

He, the tyrant himself began to whimper in fear, he was in no condition to fight from the last move and even before he still had a few broken bones.

"ANSWER ME!! THINK OF YOUR FAMILY!! THEY WOULD NEVER WANT THIS FOR YOU!! YOU TOLD ME THEY LIVED HAPPILY!! AND LOOK AT HOW FUCKING PATHETIC YOU ARE!!" I punched him repeatedly when he didn't answer, scorching his face more.

"......." All I heard was a small whimper as I placed fear into him.

*POW POW*

" YOU ARE LOWER, LOWER THAN THOSE ATTACKERS!!" I was even more furious than the fight before now that he had told me his story.

*POW*

" YOUR PARENTS GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR YOU!! ARE YOU THAT FUCKING STUPID!!?"

" WELL ANSWER ME!! OR I SWEAR TO CELESTIA I WILL MAKE YOU REJOIN YOUR FAMILY!! RIGHT FUCKING HERE AND NOW!!"

" GRAZE!! WE ARE PONIES!! WE DO NOT KILL!" Twilight shouted.

" HE IS NO PONY! JUST LOOK AT HIM! NO PONY KILLS LIKE HE HAD TO!"

He began to even shake in fear as I rose my hoof in black flames.

And suddenly a brown aura engulfed my hoof. I wasn't myself anymore at that moment, I had lost control of myself in the heat of the moment.

" GRAZE! STOP OR WE WILL HAVE TO!" Shot said.

" YOU ACTUALLY WANT HIM! TO LIVE?! ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE!"

" You aren't the Graze we know.... we are going to get you back even if we have to force it..." Dark said," I will not let you go down this path."

" None of us will," Breeze said.

" IT'S EITHER YOU ARE WITH ME OR AGAINST ME!!"

" THIS IS NOT OUR GRAZE! NOT THE GRAZE WHO HAD PROMISED TO HIS MOM!! WHO HAD PROMISED TO HIS DAD!!" Dark shouted.

" WHAT EVER HAPPENED ABOUT NOT BEING FEARED! BUT BE RESPECTED!! LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!!" Shot said.

I looked at ShadowBlade who was now scared for his life as he was held by my free hoof, shivering in the thoughts of what I was going to do" HE DESERVES IT!! I AM ONLY TRYING TO PROTECT YOU!! HE WANTED TO KILL YOU!!"

" AND WHAT MAKES YOU SO DIFFERENT FROM HIM THEN?!" Breeze shouted.

"........" I didn't answer only ignored.

" He isn't going to reason with you that easily," Charge said," I'm sorry but all you need to restrain him and fill him with memories of better days."

I looked at the four of them in battle stance, I knew what was going to happen," SO THIS IS HOW IT'S GOING TO BE!! WELL FINE! COME AT ME!"

I flung Shadow's body like a ragdoll at them as it was caught in a purple magical aura, Twilight's. Something was different about him.... his coat had looked a bit lighter.

*POW*

I was too busy looking at Shadow when I took a hoof to the face by SeaBreeze. I retaliated by holding him by his mane in my teeth and flung him towards Dark.

Shot then looked at me as he focused a spell, my body was beginning to feel heavier and heavier. Soon I was dropped to my knees against my own will.

There was an intense strain on my legs and wings as I tried to get up but I remembered it too well. Gravity was acting against me.

I flailed in rage and flapped my wings releasing black flames.

"ICE COOL HIM DOWN!!" Shot ordered.

Ice stomped his hooves commanding ice blocks to surround me only leaving a space big enough for my head to fit allowing me to breathe as he restrained me.

The black flames were extinguished by the ever so frigid ice which melted turning into water . I felt a bit more calm from this but it still was not enough to tame me.

*POW*

I felt more tired from Breeze's punch as the effects of last battle was now catching up to me. I began to pant in my puddle of water. I was now coming back to my senses.

*POW*

I was now on all four knees in the water as I tried to breathe from that punch. I had no more energy left and the gravity that I had once fought against was now winning forcing my body to the floor.

I looked up to see four figures around me, not expressions of victory from a winning battle but expressions of sorrow that their win was over a friend.

" Thank...you..." I said in my lower breath....I could have finally rested.

My eyes caught a glimpse of my friends rushing towards me, I heard Ditzy shout," GRAZE!!"

I felt my body being picked up and rushed off to somewhere. The fight had now caught up to me, all the energy I used, all the ponies I had fought......Everything, I needed to rest and so I did.

My eyes slowly opened recognizing the room infront of me. I felt a slight weight on my chest as I laid in bed. I was back in Ditzy's room.

She felt the slight body movement and woke up immediately," Graze...." was all she could have said as she hugged me tears from her eyes.

" Ditzy....I'm sorry." Was all I could have said.

" It doesn't matter....yo-you're back to your normal self...I forgive you and so did the others.... you were only standing up for us but you overdid it," she chuckled at the last part," You always overdo it."

I hugged and kissed her cheek," I can't overdo this now can I?"

She laughed as we fooled around in the bed," I missed you...so much....finally we can just stay in school and be together."

" Ahahaha you know I can't remember when my last class was....probably before I met Shadow."

" That reminds me! I want someone you need to meet and also Ice and Dark are kinda getting a bit competitive."

" Ice doesn't seem like the type to be competitive but who is this someone?"

" Light."

" Who?"

"ShadowBlade.....he says he wants to meet you when you had woken up." Ditzy said.

" I think he can wait a little hour when I'm with my mare." I laughed and hugged her again spending a quiet moment with each other. Something that we rarely get.
