The party

"Spike! Where are you?" Twilight yelled.

Twilight looked all over the library until she found a note.
Dear Twilight,

I am helping Princess Luna sending letters to people in Canterlot, so don't worry about me, we'll be back in a couple of days.
Your assistant/friend,

Spike
"Well I guess I have to get the ink myself." Twilight said.

Twilight put on her saddle and put some bits in it. Twilight went out of the library and started galloping to the ink store,but stopped when she saw her friend Pinkie Pie.

"Hey Pinkie how's it going." Twilight waved.

But to he surprise pinkie didn't wave back or say anything. Twilight notices that pinkie's hair was flat and pinkie kept mumbling something.

"Hmm.... I think I'll see what's wrong with pinkie." twilight thought.

But before she went to go after her friend, Derpy Hooves flew in front of her and handed her an invitation twilight said thank you and headed to the library to read it.

"It's from pinkie." Twilight thought to herself.

Twilight read the invitation and it was a costume party for nightmare night.

"Hmm... I guess I'll go to the party. I think I'll go as star swirl the bearded again." Twilight said as she looked for the costume she made last year.

Later that day Twilight got dressed up and was ready to go.

"I hope pinkie is better." Twilight said as she galloped to the party.

Twilight went though the door of sugar cube corner,Twilight saw Applejack, Applebloom, Sweetie Bell,Rarity,Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy.

"Hey girls." Twilight said.

Twilight looked around until Applejack ask,"what you lookin for Twi?"

"I'm looking for Pinkie pie, have you seen her?" Asked Twilight.

"Now that I think about it I haven't see her at all sugar cube." Said Applejack

Suddenly the lights went out and then a loud screech was heard.

"I think that was Applebloom! Applebloom where are you?! Applejack yelled.

Then the lights turned on.... And there was a body laying in a big blood pool,the body had a knife stuck in it.

Pony deaths

Every pony had a terrified look on there face and Applejack's face was drenched with tears.
"Applebloom! Please wake up, y'all be ok you just have to wake up! Please, just please wake up!" Applejack cried.

But there was no responses coming from the body.

"No..no..NOOOO! Who ever did this will pay for killing my only sis!" Applejack said angrily.

"Applejack calm down." Said Rainbow Dash.

"CALM DOWN?! HOW THE BUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM THE BUCK DOWN?MY LITTLE SISTER JUST DIED!" Applejack yelled.

Realizing what she said a few minutes later she finally said,"I'm sorry rainbow, I-I just don't know what to do, I never..."

Rainbow put a hoof in Applejack's mouth,"I know you didn't mean to yell I should've not told you to calm down."

Fluttershy went up to Applejack,"I know how it feels, I've been attached to many of my friends in the forest, I've seen many of them die and not from old age but other animals in need of food. It's like having a sister or brother die but it was part of life not everything lives for along time, some are shorter than most."

"Thanks sugar cube." Applejack said.

"Hey every pony sorry I'm late but I couldn't find my cost- hey why is every pony sad this is supposed to be a par- oh w-what happened? Applejack are you ok?" Pinkie asked

Applejack looked madly at pinkie and tried to buck her but Rainbow and Twilight restrained her

"And where were you really?! Did you kill my sis! And you can't lie I could tell if you did because I'm the element of honesty!"
Applejack yelled.

Pinkie's hair went flat and she ran to upstairs to her room.

"What did I just do." Applejack said.

The the lights went out again,"AHHHHHHHH, RARITY HELP!"

."SWEEETIE WHERE ARE YOU!?" Rarity yelled

The lights turned on again. There laid a body, but not Sweetie's body but Rarity's laid in a blood pool.

"S-Sweetie I'm glad I was there in t-time, I love y-" Rarity said before she stopped breathing.

"Sis? Are you messing with me? Did you set this all up to scare me cause its working." Sweetie cried out.

"Sorry Sweetie but rarity passed on...." Twilight said painfully.

"Twilight can't you bring her back? Please Twilight."Sweetie pleaded.

"I'm sorry but that's impossible even for the princesses." Twilight said.

"But you didn't even try!" Sweetie yelled.

"i'm sorry but I can't." Twilight said.

Sweetie kept begging for twilight to try but the answer was no. Sweetie cried until all her tears were gone.

"We have to get out of here before anypony else dies." Fluttershy said.

"What about Pinkie? We can't leave her here." Said Rainbow Dash.

"I'll go get her, I was really mean to her." Applejack said.

Applejack walked up stairs and knocked on pinkie's door. But there was no answer just the sound of weeping

"Are you OK sugar cube?" Applejack said as she opened the door.

"Why were you so mean I didn't do anything, I-" Pinkie cried

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you, Twi told me that you were not your self earlier and I thought you might have went-"

"Crazy? Well that's because I got news that my parents died in a car crash. So I felt sad and I decided to throw a party to try make me feel better. Oh and I forgive you applejack I just didn't expect someone to die at the party." Pinkie explained.

Pinkie's hair puffed up a little.

"Speaking of someone diein, Rarity just died we have to get out of here." Applejack explained.

"What?! Rarity died? Come on lets go!" Pinkie said.

They both galloped down stairs and they saw everypony was worried.

"What's wrong" Applejack asked.

Everyone pointed to the way out,it was blocked by dirt.

"How did this happen?" Pinkie said.

"We don't know it's just appeared, after you went up stairs the lights went out again and the pile of dirt was there." Twilight explained.

"OK so we know that Applejack and Pinkie didn't do it because they were up stairs, and obviously they didn't do it,"Twilight said as she pointed to the dead bodies.

"And Sweetie didn't because she was a victim. So that leaves me, Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Scootaloo." Twilight continued.

After a few seconds later the lights went out.

"Not again." Rainbow said.

Twilight lit her horn up and said,"Is everyone here?"

"Here." Pinkie said.

"Here." Fluttershy squeaked.

"Here." Rainbow said

"Here." Applejack said.

"Here."

"Who said that? Did any pony else here that?"Fluttershy squeaked in fear.

"I heard it." Applejack said

Twilight and Rainbow Dash nodded.

"Umm... Has anypony heard from the pipsqueaks?" Rainbow asked.

Everyone said no as they looked around.

"RAINBOW DASH HELP US!!!!"

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!"

"WHERE ARE YOU!" Everypony screamed.

But then they heard like something spewing out blood. Then the lights turned on.

"Scootaloo..." Rainbow said as she filled up with sadness and tears seeing both bodies with sliced neck

"Rainbow is crushed," Twilight whispered to Pinkie, Applejack and Fluttershy.

"I know, she'd never call Scootaloo by her name." Pinkie said.

"I'll go comfort her." Fluttershy said.

The murder

A few hours later nothing happened to the ponies

" If spike was here he could have sent a letter to the Princesses and we would be out of here." Twilight whined.

"I'm hungery let's eat." suggested Pinkie.

All their stomachs started to grumble because they didn't eat at all since they got there.

" Let's see what we can eat, I'm starving." Rainbow said as she dashed to the fridge to look at the fridge.

"Hey Twi look it's your favorite, apple fritters, here ya go." Applejack said giving the treat to Twilight.

" Umm.. No thanks." Twilight said.

"Are ya OK Twi? Ya never turn down a fritter before. Applejack said suspiciously.

" I.. Umm.. Just don't want anything." Twilight said.

" Hmm...Twilight think fast!" Applejack yelled and threw the fritter at Twilight

Twilight caught the fritter with her magic but her horn didn't glow purple like usual it glowed black.

" Your not Twilight." Rainbow said.

" Who are you?" Fluttershy asked.

"I am who you see, I am Twilight."

"Your telling the truth. But you're different than the Twilight we know, like Twilight's magic glows purple not black." Applejack said.

"Here let me explain why I'm different." Twilight started. "Before Discord turned to stone he stopped time and took me somewhere. He injected me with Nightmare moon's spirit, and more black magic in hope to stop us from turning him to stone. He put me backin place and started time again. But he failed for I didn't become evil at all. Well in the day at least. But at night the good part of me sleeps and then the evil part of me comes out and play." Twilight explained with a wicked smile.

"So you killed all those ponies? Why?" Pinkie said.

"Why? Ha, you make me laugh. The reason why was because I wanted to." Twilight said.

"What are you gonna do to us." Fluttershy asked.

Twilight looked at the clock,11:59,"Nothing right now it's to late, I'll kill you girls later."

Then Twilight suddenly fell.

"Twilight wake up." Pinkie said.

"huh where am I?" Twilight asked.

" Your at sugar cube corner. Do you remember what happened last night?" Applejack said.

"Of course after all I am Nightmare moon and I lied I always control this body." Nightmare moon said.

The lights turned off.

In the morning the Cakes found Applejack's,Fluttershy's,Rainbow Dash's, and Pinkie's bodies were found and so were the other's. But for Twilight she was never seen again.
