Princess Celestia has always cared deeply for Twilight, and now by extension, the Elements of Harmony. As the days have gone by she watched them happily go through their lives, with all it's ups and downs, but one thing has always been missing. After overhearing a conversation between Shining Armor and Cadance she learns that the Elements had no special somepony to brighten their days, to confide in and love, nor to spend their lazy days with.
This wasn't normal, and by her own mane, Celestia was going to fix it...
