"Cutie Mark Crusader Engineer's! Yay!"

All the Necromorphs stumbled from the unexpected ear shattering noise. Isaac was curled on the ground gripping a pipe with all of his strength.

His ears were ringing even inside his helmet.

What he felt next told him they thought it through much more. He felt a large pull constricting his body. He looked up and saw the glass window at the front of the room had shattered.

Ponyville.

All the manes from every resident had been blown back. Every piece of glass or fragile clay shattered. Even Celestia's mane and tail had stopped.

"What the hell was that!?" Alex yelled out. "I can't hear anything!"

"What!?" Celestia yelled at him.

"What!?" He asked her.

All they all could do was watch each other’s lips move. Every other pony was in the same state.

Titan Station.

The seal finally shut and Isaac got up from the pipe he was hanging onto.

He shakily got up and proceeded to the crusaders who were staring at him guiltily.

"I-Isaac? Are you alright?" Sweetiebelle asked putting a hoof on his leg.

He gave a nod before going in.

They all gave each other nervous smiles as they saw him pull of a panel and start to reroute the wires. He failed twice but didn't curse.

When he did get it he readjusted their helmets and his own.

"Sorry bout' that Isaac." Applebloom smiled nervously rubbing the back of her neck. "Ah didn't expect it to be that loud."

"How in the holy hell are you three not deaf?" He asked.

"We made the cheer ourselves didn't we?" Scootaloo said.

He nodded before peeking out from the door. He saw a Leaper lying on the ground, twitching.

He slowly walked up to it and looked over.

It looked up at him with blood stained eyes before those promptly rolled back. He did the respectful thing and started to stomp its corpse so it wouldn't stab him in the back when he turned around.

"Come on, let's go up." He motioned for them to go on the elevator.

They all hurried up and let him push the buttons in. The lift whirred to life and as they went up they heard the sound of metal tearing. When they got up, they saw a Slasher prowling at the entrance. Isaac and Applebloom took out its limbs killing it as they stepped over it.

He pushed aside the metal plate blocking the ramp and pulled that down.

A set of laser's came on as he was about to step through them. Luckily Scootaloo grabbed him and pulled him back.

"Clarke, I know you're up there. Understand that even if you survive long enough to restore power, there is no escape. All routes in and out of the government sector are being monitored. Give up Clarke." Said Tiedmann on the speakers.

"He got smart enough not to do this comm wise. I think he's afraid of you Scotaloo. Good job."

"Thank's." She said throwing the necromorph body into the lasers. "I'd say before this all ends, me and you should pay him a visit."

"I think that's a great idea. I'll be sure to give him a very special gift. We shouldn't keep him waiting, that would be rude."

She smirked under her helmet as they went forward.

As soon as the stepped through the door the AI came back; she said only three words before disappearing and leaving them with half a Stalker.

"Purging life support."

"What? That doesn't mean she's going to..." Sweetiebelle started before the oxygen left the room and the lights took on a blue hue. "I think we need to hurry and fix this before we suffocate."

"Hang on; I think I see the panel connecting to the hallway's air flow over there." Scootaloo said. "Yeah here we go."

She opened the panel and a pile of wires fell to her hooves.

"This doesn't look good... I think i need some cold air for his."

All of them watched as the first fold of her helmet clunked into place, they watched in horror as her entire helmet unfolded and she was left staring at them with a raised eyebrow.

"What? We Slenderponie's can survive in the harshest of conditions. Including space." She smirked before getting to work on the panel.

They all watched silently as her little hooves got the first two, but gulped when the third left her hooves smoking. She gave a grunt before starting again. And it ended with the same result.

"Isaac, how much air do I have left?" Sweetiebelle asked.

"About... oh dear god. Scootaloo could you be a good little pegasus and hurry the fuck up! We’re running out of air fast!" Isaac yelled.

Applebloom looked over to see her friends gauge. She put a hoof to where her mouth would be.

It read 70.6 and as she looked away it went down by two numbers.

"Scootaloo, ya need to hurry. We're almost out of air."

"I'm trying here!" She mouthed back.

Isaac was pacing and Sweetiebelle was sitting there, deep in her own thoughts.

Applebloom was staring at her friends hooves intently, flinching each time she got her hooves smoked.

She looked at Sweetiebelle's air. It was actually slower than Isaac's who was going down dangerously fast.

"Scootaloo, Isaac only has," She looked back at his gauge. "Thirty seconds!" She yelled.

Scootaloo started to move her hooves rapidly and jerkily.

His gauge was now at 20.9

She got the first.

14.6

Second.

1.10

The last.

She breathed a sigh of relief. But that faded as she discovered that the air had yet to turn back on.

Isaac was on the ground, grabbing his throat. She rushed to his side and tried to do anything for him.

Sweetiebelle was woken out of her trance by the bump to her side. She looked over and saw Isaac gripping his throat. She immediately ran over and connected her air to his.

His head snapped up as he took a long breath of air. He looked over to see Sweetiebelle leaning on him. He turned her over and would have made a dent in the wall if he could.

Her gauge read zero.

He started to shake her, Scootaloo was crying, her tears freezing to her face. And then the air was restored.

They both looked to see Appelboom taking her hind legs out from the mess of wires and run over to them.

"Good god, come on breathe!" Isaac yelled giving her CPR. "Come on dammit!" He cried, tears already streaming down his face.

"N-No... please! Sweetiebelle, please don't go. Were so close to getting out of here." Scootaloo cried into her hooves. "Please..."

Applebloom looked down to the floor, sniffling and letting the tears drip off her nose.

"Please, Sweetiebelle. We still need to get you back to your sister. Your home..." Isaac cried.

She still didn't move, not a twitch or even a single heartbeat.

"Dammit. You should have just let me die... you all could have just went on without me." He said.

"I-Is she... gone?" Scootaloo asked looking away.

"... Yes. Atleast she did it a hero. I'm sure her sister, you two and her friends along with the queens would be proud. I know Alex would probably award her the medal of Velerainian honor that he always talked about. I know I would give her atleast twenty."

He gently set her down and let her helmet fold up.

"This is my fault! If I hadn't have stopped all those times... she would be alive!" Scootaloo cried.

"No! This is not your fault!" Applebloom yelled. "This is Tiedmann's! He killed our friend, he killed all of these people and he's going to be the one I'll kill mah'self!" She yelled.

Ponyville.

"Dammit..." Alex cursed as he wrapped a wing around Celestia as she cried into his shoulder.

"Sweetiebelle... why, why my little Sweetiebelle!" Rarity cried.

Pinkie's hair deflated and she was now in a puddle of her own tears. Twilight had her ears drooped down as did Rainbowdash. Applejack was saying a silent prayer a she put her stentson over her chest. And Rainbowdash had almost no emotion present, only tears running down her cheeks as she stared at the mirror.

Titan Station.

"Should we say something?" Isaac asked looking down at her.

"Probably, it-it seems right." Applebloom sniffled.

"Sweetiebelle, for the short time I had known her... had been a friend to me, loyal, funny, annoying at times but she was a friend. May god give her easy passage to the golden gates of eternal paradise." He said.

"Sweetiebelle, I'm sorry for all the times I called you a dictionary. And I'm sorry for all the fight's we ever had... even the one that freed Discord, that one I regret the most." Scootaloo sobbed.

"Sweetiebelle... Ah'm sorry for everything ah've done to you. Everything bad ah mean. Don't worry though; we'll get who did this to ya. Even if it's the last thing ah do." Applebloom swallowed a lump in her throat.

They all quietly passed through the door and only looked back once.

The new room had a large cylindrical object that took up most of it, it was plated and the AI was still there.

"Unauthorized Visitor. Main-" It was cut off as Applebloom shot out the speaker and projector.

"We have to crawl in there. Be careful." Isaac pointed to a nearby vent.

They nodded and folded up their helmets as he picked them up and set them in there.

They all ignored Tiedman as he ordered the AI to shut down the Solar Array functions. They silently crawled through the vent and to the other side.

The new room was white with a small patch of metal by the window and panels lining on the wall. He pulled the panels off and flung them to the side, the last one containing the Swarm.

He sighed as he shot them too bits.

"I kind of miss how she gave you the idea to use me..." He said to Scootaloo.

"Yeah... I miss when she let me use her." She nodded.

Applebloom was already putting in the third 'plug-in' as they looked back to her.

Isaac put in the last one and they saw the machine outside whirred to life, parts of it spinning as steam poured out.

When they exited, they found a number of necromorphs already advancing towards their position.

In the hallway.

Sweetie's body lay there, cold, dead, and motionless.

An Infector glided down and landed at the body. It looked her over, thinking she might have been killed by one of the creators, but dismissed that, when it saw her pristine white coat. It grabbed her with its smaller arms and started to flap in the air.

It turned her around so her face was at its chest. It swung down with its proboscis and jammed it into her skull.

For a brief moment nothing happened.

And then, her horn gave off a spark followed by a blast of energy that burned through the Infector.

She got up shakily, rubbing her head. With a quick light of her horn the wound closed and she sucked in a sharp breathe of air.

Her eyes snapped open and her heart was racing. She didn't know where the others were.

Three screams rang through the air.

Her eyes narrowed and she sent a blast at the door in front of her.

"Don't worry, Sweetiebelle's here!" She yelled out of happiness and tears that she saved Isaac and she was still alive.
