Prologue: The Tryouts

Prologue: The Tryouts

It has been a thousand years since the creation of the Shadowbolts and the Wonderbolts were created and Luna and Celestia are getting along nicely for as long as anypony can remember, even if they have the two groups of show pegasi compete to see who is the best.  And they only have a three month off season to train and to rest before it all happens again.

So both of them decide that each year they will hold many matches to see who is the best and both teams go to different towns and cities to see how well they do.  And right now the Shadowbolts won in the last three years and the Wonderblts are hoping to get fresh new talent so that they could win.

Clousdale Flight Academy

Rainbow Dash and her friend Soarin are on there way towards the Wonderbolt Tryouts so that they could get into the team and show off there skills and be on the best team ever.

"Can you beleive it Dash, we might get into the Wonderbolts." says the light blue coated navy blue maned pegasus

"Yeah, this is awesome Soarin." says an energetic cyan coated pegasus whom also has a rainbow colored mane and tail

"I wonder if we will perform together?" says Soarin

"Very funny Soar if they do that then hope you can keep up with me." says Rainbow and then she flew off leaving a confused Soarin who is thinking "It seems like yesterday that we met each other at Flight School."

A few years ago

Soarin is walking towards his first class and just when he arrives, a cyan blur crashes into him and before he could says anything he notices that the pony on him is a mare, "And a cute one at that."

Then the pony says "Sorry about that, I really need to watch where I'm going." she then gets off of him and helps him up onto his hooves and says "I'm Rainbow Dash the best flier around here."

"Well she sure is sure of herself." he thinks and then says "Hi, I'm Soarin."

"Well Soarin, where are you off to?"

"I'm off to Phys. Ed."

"Wow, I'm off to there also, and I think another one of my friends will be there."

"Who?" says Soarin with a raised eybrow

"Her name is Fluttershy and she will be the nervous one there if I remember."

So then both of them went off to class and when they got there Rainbow went off to talk to a yellow pegasi with a pink mane and tail and he assume that is Fluttershy and he walks up to them and says "Hello there, hope I'm not intruding."

"No your not Soar and this here is Fluttershy, Shy this is Soarin."

From what Soarin could see Fluttershy is nervous about meeting strange ponies so he decides to go slow with introducing himself.  "Hi Fluttershy, you don't have to be scared." he then holds out his hoof slowly and after a while Fluttershy shakes his hoof with her own and says in a quiet voice "Hi."

Before he could says anything, the coach says "Alright ponies, time for class to start."

Back to the Present

After Soarin catches up to Dash he sees that the entire stadium is filled with many pegasi and some of them are on the field and to his surprise the captain of the Wonderbolts is there along with some other pegasi.  He then says to Dash "This is going to be tough."

"Come on Soar, we can do this."

"Ok," he then looks around and says "Is Fluttershy here?"

"Nope, she moved to a place called Ponyville and last I heard she made some good new friends there."

"That is good to hear."

Then before they could say anything else, the announcer says "Alright ponies it is time for the Tryouts to begin and before anything gets started there seems to some new guests here and let me introduce the Shadowbolts."

Then a thunder like noise could be heard and three black streaks flew across the sky and before anypony could do anything, they then did some tricks which gain them many cheers from the stands and when they landed one of them takesthe mic and says "Good morning Cloudsdale, I know some of you are wondering why we are here," he says that while looking at Spitfire "Well, you see one of our own has retired and we need a replacement so hope you don't mind us coming here taking a look at these new recruits and don't worry, we are only picking one of them."

At first Soarin has a worried look and when he turns to Dash, he could tell that Dash seems to have the same look but then Dash says "Don't worry Soar I'm sure neither one of us are going to be chosen."

Soarin then nods and then the Tryouts began.

About a few hours later many pegasi tried there best but only some of them made it into the Wonderbolts but not one was chosen for the Shadowbolts.  When it came for Soarin to try out, Dash says "Good luck." and then when Soarin got out there he at first was nervous until he sees Dash and he thinks "This is for me and you Dash, even though I did not say it at first but after this tryouts, I'm going to tell you something I wanted to tell you for some time now"

After that, he then close his eyes and breaths in deeply and flew up into the sky and he did some loops and corkscrews and after all of that he then landed on the clouds and created spread some rain that were stored in the cloud and when he finished the crowed cheered and Spitfire came up and says to him "Well now that was some fine flying, whats your name?"

"Soarin miss."

"Well Soarin, welcome to the Wonderbolts."

Soarin was pleased with himself and he hopes that Rainbow Dash gets in.

After about a half an hour, it was Rainbows turn to tryout and she did not hesitate and went right into it and flew to her hearts content and what seems to be about a few minutes, she flew on back down and landed gracefully.  There was then many cheers for her and before Spitfire can do anything, the Shadowbolt captain comes up and says "I think we just found our new Shadowbolt."

There was then silence through out the stadium and Soarin and Dash could not believe what they heard.

Chapter 1: The Wonderbolt

Chapter 1: The Wonderbolt

It has been about four months since that fateful day that Soarin had lost count.  He is now just got done with his routine and is heading towards the locker room when he runs into his friend Wave Chill, another wonderbolt that was chosen at the tryouts.

"Hey Soarin how are you?" says Wave Chill with a smile

"Fine Wave, just thinking."

"Let me guess, it is about a mare is it."

Soarin then looks at him with a surprise look and then says "What makes you think that?"

"Hey there stallion, I saw you that one day in the locker room sitting on a bench looking down at some photo and I could only assume that it is a picture of a mare, now who is she?" Wave says with a curious look

"Fine it is a mare but why do you care who it is?" says Soarin

"Ok fine you don't have to tell me who it is just that if you really like her why don't you tell her how you feel."

After Wave Chill says that he then walks off and Soarin is left there with a sad look thinking "Tell her how I feel, well Chill that is harder then you think."

Four Months ago

After that huge surprise by the Shadowbolt captain, Soarin went off to find Rainbow Dash.  It took him some time to find her, but after some time he found her in the locker room.  And what surprised him is that he thought he heard crying from her and he said "Hey now, Dash crying this is news to me."

Dash then turned around and Soarin thought he saw tears in her eyes but she wiped them all away and she said "Very funny Soar" she then looks away and says "congrats on making it into the Wonderbolts."

"Hey Dash, I know both of us wanted to be in the Wonderbolts but that dose not mean we can still see each other."

"Thanks Soarin."

Soarin then stood there still trying to think on what to say next until he finally said "Hey Dash there something I wanted to tell you, and well its that I-"

Before he could finish a voice is heard from outside and Soarin regonizes it as the Shadowbolt captain

"Alright Dash, time for me to introduce you to the team."

Then Dash gets up and said "Well Soarin, I hope to see you again."

"Yeah me to." Soarin said with a hint of dissapointment in his voice

What happens next then is what made Soarin long for her even more, Dash came up to him and hugged him and says "I know this is a bit sappy even for me, but I do hope to see you again."

Before Soarin could have said anything Dash lets go and heads on out leaving with Soarin a big grin on his face.

Back to the present

After thinking back to that day, Soarin decides that he should find her and tell her how he feels about her.  The only problem is trying to find her until he remembers the one friend they both have since school: Fluttershy.

After some time, Soarin was able to get to Ponyville finally and at the same time he thinks "Good thing I have a week of vacation time saved up and a perfect excuse to come here."

After he lands, he then goes up to the first pony he sees, which is an earth pony and says "Excuse me, but can you tell me where a pegasi name Fluttershy lives?"

The big red stallion then turns around and Soarin thinks "Wow, this stallion is huge." and the stallion says "Eeyup, she lives near the Everfree forest."

"Thank you."

Afterwards Soarin heads on out towards the Everfree forest and after a while he comes upon a cottage that is surrounded by small animals.  "Well she does like animals." Soarin thinks.  When he walks up to the door, he knocks and after a while he hears what seems to be hooves behind the door and when it opens he sees through the crack a tuff of pink mane and he then says "Hey Fluttershy, its me Soarin from school."

The door opens and Fluttershy says "Soarin, it is so good to see you sorry about my behavior come in."

After Soarin comes in he sees that the small cottage that Fluttershy lives in seems to be a bit homey for a pegasus.  After he looks around Fluttershy says "You can sit down if you want to, can I get you anything?"

"Just some lemonade please." says Soarin after he sits down

When Fluttershy goes into the kitchen, Soarin looks around from the couch he is sitting in and sees something familiar on a table.  When he gets closer he sees that it is a picture of him in the middle, Fluttershy on his left and Rainbow Dash on his right all of them with one of there wings wraped around each other.  When he sees who is in it, a flood of memories comes rushing in and he thinks back on that day.

Five months ago

"Hey Fluttershy, what is that." said a young Rainbow Dash

Fluttershy then turns around and looks up and said "It is just some camera that I have."

Soarin then comes up and sees the camera and said "Hey, how about we all get a picture of us all since this is our last year that we are going to be together."

"Great idea Soarin, come on Fluttershy." said an excited Dash

So all three of them help set up the camera and then they all stood together and after a few seconds a flash came from the camera and then Fluttershy said "Well, it will take about a week for these to be ready."

"Cool," said Dash "hey Soar, race you."

"It is on Dash."

Present

Soarin then stops thinking and sees Fluttershy come in and says "Hey Fluttershy, can I ask you something?"

"Of course Soarin, that is what friends are for." says Fluttershy after she sets down the drinks and sits on a chair

"Well, I'm just wondering if you heard from Dash?"

"Well, I got a letter from her about a week ago."

"Do you know what she said?" says Soarin with eager in his voice

"Well, from what she said she is doing alright but something tells me that part of her is missing."

"How can you tell?"

"Well, at first she could be missing you Soarin."

Soarin the has a surprised look and says "She misses me."

"Soarin, if I may say something, do you love Rainbow Dash?"

Soarin then blushes and realizes that he is speechless and says "Well, I do like her and maybe I do have a crush on her."

"Well Soarin, I may know how you can see her again."

Soarin then gets even a more suprised look and says "How Fluttershy?"

"Well, let me tell you."

Soarin then listens to Fluttershys plan and thinks "Fluttershy is more assertive then the last time I saw her but if she can get me to see Dash again then I'm willing to trust her."

Chapter 2: The Shadowbolt

Chapter 2: The Shadowbolt

Rainbow Dash just got done with taking a shower after a hard day of flying and is heading out until she sees her friend Midnight.  Midnight is a grey pony with a blue mane and tail, with two lightning bolts crossing each other for a cutie mark. Midnight can also be a bit of a prissy pony to Dash's opinion because she cares about how she looks and tries not to get dirty.  How she got on the team Dash could only wonder.  When they first met was a few days after Dash joined the team and Dash was glad to make a friend among a group that seems a bit gloomy and only care about winning a bit too much.

After Dash goes up to her Midnight says "Hey Dash, how is the shower?"

"Fine Midnight, and the one shower still sprays cold water." said Dash with an angry look.

Midnight laughs and says "Well then guess we should bring in the plumbers again.  And by the way just thought you should know Shade is outside."

Dash then gets a surprise look and thinks "Why, what is with him can't he take a hint I'm not into him."

Shade is a dark navy blue pony with a black mane and tail, with a white cloud for a cutie mark.  He took a liking to Dash the first time he saw her and starts to flirt with her almost every single day.  Dash tried everything to get rid of him: from being nice to getting angry AND yelling at him but he still won't give up.  Dash then says "Well now I better dry off before he sees me like this."

"Yea, him seeing you wet only made him want you more."

Both of them laugh at what happen back on that day.  Shade was looking for her until he finally saw her coming out of the locker room.  To Rainbows misery he saw her with a wet mane, causing him to go into what Dash call his flirt mode and tried to get her again.  Dash only lost him that day when she decided to hide in the mares locker room again.

"Can you cover me again Midnight, I don't want to stay in here for half the day in here again."

"Alright, and if it does happen again did you add that snack fridge in here like you said?"

Dash then went on to a corner to where a small box is, she then opens it and it contained some food and drinks.  She then says "All ready to go."

"Ok then, I'll help you." Midnight then went to her locker and pulls out some kind of flyer said with a bit of glee in her voice "I can't wait to go to the big party up in Canterlot, it is going to be fun this year."

"How can it be fun?" said Dash with a confused look "Its probably going to be boring unless you are there to flirt with the single stallions there."

"There is nothing wrong with me trying to find myself a perfect stallion for myself."

"Whatever." then Dash was about to leave until Midnight says "Hey Dash, do you have a dress?"

Dash then turns around and said "No, why?"

"Well the party is going to be a Masquerade style and you my friend need a dress."

Dash then starts to think on where to get a dress and remembers something "Don't worry, I already know somepony that could get me a dress."

Midnight  smiles and said "Good for you and now let us go."

"What do you mean?"

"Well we are going out there together and I will tell Shade that we are going shopping for our dresses for the party, but then after we lose him you can go to your friend and get your dress."

Rainbow Dash then smiles and says "Thanks Midnight."

Both of them then walk out together, and sure enough Shade is there and the first thing he said to them that made Dash want to kick him in the jaw "Well now, what are two fine mares like you doing here?"

Before Dash could say anything Midnight steps in and said "Well me and my friend here are going to get our dress for the ball that is coming up this month."

To Dashs relief Shade seems to have a dissapointment look on his face.  But he smiles and said "Well now, You two have fun and I'm sure you will look amazing in whatever you dress up in." he then leaves and Dash said

"Can you believe it!  Even when he talks to both of us and he flirts with me all in the same sentence."

Midnight then laughs and said "That is a feat even for him, now how about you just go to your friends place and get a dress for yourself."

"Thanks Midnight, I don't know what I'll do with out you."

"You might've brought harm to Shade and got suspended."

"It would all be worth it."  Both of them then laugh and went there seperate ways.

After a while, Rainbow Dash comes up to Ponyville and went straight to Fluttershy's cottage.  When she got there she sees a note on the door that says:

Gone out with friends, sorry about that.

Dash then remembers that Fluttershy had made some new friends and knows where they would be all at.

After a while, Dash came up to a place that she knows is Sugercube Corner that is own be a couple named the Cakes.  When she went in she was surprised by the sight, at some of the tables there is some fane fillies and some fans of the Wonderbolts on another side of the place.  After looking around, she spots Fluttershy with another pony whom Rainbow could tell is an unicorn.  When she came up to them she says "Hi Fluttershy, how are you?"

Fluttershy then looks up and says "Rainbow!  It is so good to see you." she hugs her and says "Please sit with us." she lets go and Dash sits down and says "Hey Shy, I know you have a friend that makes dress, do you think you could introduce me to her."

Then the unicorn says "Why miss, I'll be glad to help a friend of Fluttershy," she then extends her hoof and says "My name is Rarity, I'm th local dress maker."

Dash then shakes the hoof and says "Thanks and do you think we could get started?"

"Why of course darling, just follow me." she then grabs Rainbow and pulls her towards her work place and the last thing Dash thinks "This mare reminds me of Midnight a bit."

Chapter 3: Reunion

Chapter 3: Reunion

The night has fallen over Canterlot, and everypony that has an invitation is on there way to the Masquerade Ball that is being held there.  There are many ponies of all types: there are unicorns, earth ponies and even pegasi.

Soarin was amazed by the sight, even if he has already been to Canterlot at least a dozen times.  While he is walking towards the front gate, he took a quick peak at his reflection in a small fountain.  "Rarity sure did a good job."

He is wearing a fancy red top outlined by gold trims which also hides his cutie mark and his mask resembles a lion.  He is even wearing a red hat along with it a blue feather.  "Good thing I chose red, blue with gold would have ponies thinking I'm with the Wonderbolts."

After he was done, he then walks up to the gate and handed one of the guards his ticket that Rarity have given him out of the goodness of her heart.  He continues inside and see so many ponies that all of Equestria is at the party.  He then starts for his search for Rainbow Dash. [i"]Should not be to hard, I mean how many ponies have a rainbow mane and tail."

After about an hour, he was about to give up when he hears some cheering and when he turns around, he sees them: The Shadowbolts.  He counts twelve, the same number of Wonderbolts and he heard about all the members.  But he is only looking for one.  He then spots her, she is beside whom he assume is the captain.  "She is more wonderful then ever, now I just need to get close to her and talk to her."

He then looks around and an idea comes to him, he is going to ask her to have a dance with him.  After all the introduction of the Shadowbolts, they then went towards a section of the place and Soarin follows them into the place.  Before he could do anything, they first went into some dressing room, one seems to be for mares and the other is for stallions.  After some time, Soarin then notices that the Shadowbolts walking out of the locker rooms when suddenly he sees Rainbow Dash.

She is wearing a rainbow themed dress that covers her cutie mark and flank, it has grey clouds at the edges, her wings can be seen, and her mane is in a ponytail.

Soarin had to use every part of his will power to keep his jaw from dropping.  "She is amazing, he shaked his head and said "Keep it together, remember why I'm here."

So then he walked towards her and he sees Dash talking to a mare.  He gets close enough to hear them but not for them to notice him.  As soon when he is close enough, he hears the other mare say "So Dash, find any good stallions here yet?"

Dash laugh and said "Very funny Midnight, if I had a choice though I'll dance with any stallion other then Shade."

The mare, whom Soarin now knows is Midnight said "Well now better find one fast, I can see Shade coming."

Soarin then looks over to where Midnight is pointing and could see who he assumes is Shade.  Shade is wearing what Soarin thinks looks like a black pirate coat and he is even wearing a black hat with a white feather.  Soarin then decides now is the perfect time to ask her.  He then walks up to her and says "Excuse me miss, may I have this dance?"

Dash is at first surprised but then thought "Ok now either I'm lucky, or this is just the perfect excuse to get away from Shade." "Yes you may." Dash said

Then Both Soarin and Dash went on to the dance floor and a slow song starts to play.  Both of them started to dance in silence for some time now until Dash says "Thank you sir, I thought I would have to spend the entire night with Shade."

Soarin then decided to ask about this Shade "So you don't like Shade?"

"Its more like I despise him, all he does is flirt with me and never once tried to be my friend, he may just want me for something else."

"This Shade seems to be like a creep."

"More like a creeper, all he cares about is himself and no other pony, like one day when we were done with a show, he is the first in line to get his picture taken.  He even ask if I want to join him."

"Wow, this Shade character sounds like Prince Blueblood." "So, I'm guessing you have eyes set for another stallion?"

Dash again gets a surprise look and said "Maybe, why?"

"Just curious, and this other stallion tell me about him."

"Wait a minute why are you asking me all this?"

"I just thought I should be a gentlecolt and help you.  You see I was nearby you and your friend when you two were talking to each other."

"Well then, thaks for that." she then bit her bottom lip and says "Well, this other stallion that I like and maybe have a crush on is another pegasi and he is amazing, me and him went to the same school together and he is funny, charming, cool and is willing to listen when you have a problem.  He is always staying in shape, sometimes Fluttershy had to pull him down just to get him to rest." while she continues talking, Soarin thinks "Wow, that is what she thinks of me.  Part one down now for the next part."

"Excuse me, do you want to take this conversation into the gardens somewhere?"

Dash at first thinks about it and said "Sure, I'm not to big on dancing."

So then both Soarin and Dash walked out the doors that leads to the gardens.  And after they walked outside, Soarin led Dash to a bench and when she sat down Soarin then says "So then miss Dash, what would you say if I told you that I know this stallion."

Dash the gets a surprise look on her face and said "I'll think you are crazy."

"And that he is here at this party."

Dash then says "If he is here then where is he?"

Soarin then does the unthinkable: he takes off his hat and then Dash's eyes gets  a bit wider and then after Soarin took off his mask, a moment of silence passes by until Dash then jumps at Soarin and hugs him.  Before Soarin can do anything, Dash then smacks him and said "That is for tricking me."

Soarin then gets a sad look on his face until Dash holds his head in her hooves and said "And this is athanks for coming."

Soarin could not describe the feeling that went through him when the one thing he was hoping for happen: Rainbow Dash kissed him on the lips.

At first he was surprise but then he wraps his hooves around Dash and pulled her in close.  Time seem to stand still for both of them until Dash pulls back and said "So Soarin, how about we leave this party and spen some time together."

Soarin smiles and said "Of course milady."  Both of them then laugh while walking away.

Unknown to both of them, a pair of eyes was watching them and saw everything.

Chapter 4: Trouble

Chapter 4: Trouble

Soarin woke up to the morning sun blasting into his eyes.  When he finally got up he went into the bathroom and washed his face.  When he looked in the mirror, he was surprised that his mane is all messed up and that he is a bit confused about what happen last night.  

Last night

Both Soarin and Dash left the party and decided to head towards a cafe where both of them talk about everything from how they are doing to telling about how much they missed each other.  After they are done, both of them then went on towards a hotel where Soarin dicided to stay the night.  Before he could did anything, Dash said "Hey Soarin, can I spend the night with you?"

Soarin was surprised but then said "Sure thing Dash."

So both of them went up into his room and Soarin ordered some wine and both had some and talked some more.  Then from what Soarin remembers, both he and Dash then started a little make out which turn into something more all the way to the bed.

Present

He then ran back into the bedroom and sees that Dash is not there but that there is a note and it said

Dear Soarin,

Sorry for leaving you, but the Shadowbolts are leaving at around noon.  So by the time you read this I'll be heading out and thanks for the night.  If you are wondering, I get off in about two weeks so if you want to see me again meet me in Ponyville at a place called Surgercube Corner.

Rainbow Dash

Soarin could not believe his eyes, Dash wants to see him again and in only two weeks and in Ponyville.  So then he took a shower and checked out of the hotel and went on towards Cloudsdale.

As soon as Dash arrived at the Shadowbolt Headquarters, she sees at the front enterance Midnight.  Dash then waves and says "Hey there Midnight, how are things?"

Midnight shrugs her shoulders and said "Not much, except that Night Fury is in one of his moods."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, he wants to see you about something."

Dash then gets a worried look on her face and went on inside.  After some time and dodging Shade again, she arrives at the captains door.  She then takes a deep breath and knocks on the door.  As soon as she knocks she hears a gruff voice saying "Come in."

As soon as she went in, she sees sitting behind a desk Night Fury, a brown pegasus with a black mane and tail.  As for his cutie mark, it is a black shooting star.  After a while Dash then says "Rainbow Dash reporting sir."

"Sit down Dash." After Dash sits down Fury then says "I'm curious about something, did you spend time with some stallion at that party."

"Yes sir why, all we did was talk."

"Well, I'm just curious, because for all we know that stallion could have been an Wonderbolt spy."

"But sir, why would a Wonderbolt go after me?  I know nothing about all our moves or anything like that."

"Well I hope you did not tell him anything of the sort."

"No sir."

"Good now leave."

Dash was about to leave until Fury says "By the way, what was his name?"

Dash then realizes that she can not say Soarin so she came up with an made up name "Solar Wind sir."  Fury then nods his head and waves his hoof for her to go.

Dash then goes into the locker room to practice for a while and she then finds herself thinking about Soarin "Soarin, I hope we could figure out how we could be together."

She was lost in thought and flying that she did not see a lone pegasus watching her.

After a few hours, Dash then lands and was about to head on towards the locker rooms until she was stopped by Shade.

"Shade, what are you doing here?  I thought you went home."

"Come on Dash," he says in a voice that has Dash a bit worried "why don't you love me?"

"I told you, you are not my type." says Dash with an angry look

Shade then steps closer to Dash and said "Come on Dash I just want one favor from you."

"What is it?" said Dash with a confused look

"I want just a kiss from you."

"No way, I'll never kiss you.  Even if you promised to leave me alone."

Then before Dash could react, Shade then grabs Dash and in a blink of an eye has her pinned to the floor with him on top.  Dash then slaps him but he did not budge from his position and instead said "Well now, you should really behave Dash somepony could get hurt."

"Why are you doing this Shade?"

"Its obvious Dash, I love you."  He then leans in and starts to kiss her but Dash is trying her best to not lock her lips with his.  But then all of a sudden Shade then grabs her wings and pulls on them and said "Dash you should behave, you don't want me to hurt you now do you?"  He then starts it all over.

After about an hour of trying her best to resist Shade, Dash all of a sudden passes out.

An hour later

Midnight finds herself at the Headquarters looking for Dash.  She has been looking for her for some time for there weekly mares day out.  "She is never late, where could she be she is not at home and she was not at the usual places we hang out."

She then dicided to look at the H.Q.  When she arrived she found the door unlocked which never happens because the door is always locked.  She then went on inside and looks around to find if Dash is still inside until she starts to hear heavy breathing.  She then hurries towards where the noise coming from until she turns around a corner and Can't believe what she sees.

Dash is laying on the floor with a few bruises and scraps and from what Midnight could tell, she is still alive but for who knows for how much longer.  So then Midnight then puts Dash on her back and starts to fly as fast and as careful as she could to get Dash to a hospital.

Chapter 5: Revelations

Dash could not remember the last time she was in pain, in fact she never been to a hospital since she was a filly.  When she tries to open her eyes all she could see is the white ceiling.  She then tries to get up but pain shoots up her back and she falls back down with a grunt.  She then hears a shuffle and looked to one side and see Midnight.  From what Dash could see she just woke up and when Midnight sees Dash she says "Dash, glad you are alright what happen to you?"

"I barely remember, where am I?  How did I get here?"

"I found you at our HQ all bruised and badly hurt.  What happen?"

Dash thinks for a minute until she remembers something that makes her shudder.  Then she says "Ithink Shade did this to me."

Midnight then gets a surprised look on her face and says "Shade, but why and what do you remember?"

"He...he tried to make love to me."

Midnight then gasp and said "You mean he raped you!" she then starts pacing and says with an angry voice "He should be punished he should be kicked off the team, no he should be banished to the moon, no that would be an insult to Luna he should be banished to a far away planet so far away he can't get back."

She goes on rambling until Dash says "Midnight, I don't know how that would work, he probably would just deny it and try again."

"Well we should do something, the next time he does this you may be hurt so badly you will have to leave the team."

Before Dash could say anything a doctor comes in and says "Good, you're awake.  I need to know something."

"Excuse me doc," says Dash "How long was I out?"

"You were out for about two weeks."

Dash then gets a surprise look and thinks "Two weeks, what am I going to do?  What would Soarin think?"

"And miss I'm just wondering but did you know you are pregnant?"

"What!" both Dash and Midnight shouted

"Well, seems like you are about a couple weeks pregnant and that it is going along fine, how about I get you some books on this subject."

After the doctor left Midnight says "I can't believe this he raped you and got you pregnant, I'm going to hurt him so bad he won't be able to fly forever."

"Midnight."

"He is going to hurt so badly that he will be crippled and-"

"MIDNIGHT!"

Midnight then looks towards Dash and says "Yeah Dash?"

"Shade is not the only stallion I slept with."

"What do you mean?" then it dawned on Midnight "You mean that stallion you met at the party."

Dash nods.

At first Midnight was angry but then smiles and says "Well now, I think I would rather have this stallion you met be the father then Shade, Shade does not deserve to be a father figure.  By the way who is this other stallion you met and did a little more then talk?"

"Well, that it is going to be complicated because it is Soarin."

"Soarin!  As in the Wonderbolt."

"Yes and before you go crazy I knew him long before I joined the team."

Midnight then stands there with her mouth open but then recovers and says "Well, I still go on my last comment this Soarin sounds much better then Shade."

"He is.  He is smart, handsome, cute, funny and always is willing to listen to anything you have to say." she then gets a worried look on her face and says "And I was to meet him in Ponyville at SurgerCube Corner."

"I'll go." said Midnight

"Really, you'll do that?"

"Yeah sure and I promise that I won't tell any other pony."

"Thanks Midnight, you are a good friend."

"Yep, so see you later."

"Later."

So then Midnight heads off towards Ponyville to meet one of the possible fathers.

After a few hours, Midnight finally made it to Ponyville.  As soon as she sees the place she sees that it looks like a wonderful place.  She then walks up to one pony and says "Excuse me, do you know the way to SugerCube Corner?"

The stallion pegasus then turns and says "Sure thing miss, it is right over there you can't miss it."

"Thank you mister..."

"Thunderlane."

"Thank you Thunderlane I'm Midnight."

"Pleasure to meet you."

After he walks away Midnight thinks "He sure is cute."

She then heads on towards the cafe like place and as soon as she enters she sees a few ponies inside.  She then looks at all of them until she sees Soarin.  Well that is him glad I know how he looks like."

She then walks up to him and says "Excuse me, are you Soarin?"

"Yes, do you need something?"

"Well," she said while rubbing her neck "Its about Rainbow Dash."

"What about her?"

"I know you are in a relationship with her."

Soarin then gets a surprise look on his face and says "How do you know?"

"She told me and don't worry I'm not mad about it its just that she was raped."

Soarin then jumps onto his hooves and says "What!  How did this happen who raped her?"

"Soarin calm down she is fine, just in the hospital and well, she is pregnant also."

Soarin then sits back down and says "Wow, but is the foal mine or this other stallions?"

"We don't know, but who did it is another pegasus named Shade."

Soarin then gets angry and says "Where does this stallion live?"

"In Cloudsdale, why?"

Soarin then runs on out of the place and Midnight realizes what she had done.  "Oh my, did I do something bad?"

It has been an hour until Soarin found Shade praticing out over a field and he came up to him and shouts "Shade!"

Shade then turns around and says "Who are you?"

"I'm Soarin!  Rainbow Dash's coltfriend." "I can't believe I said that" he thinks

"What! You, I think you must be mistaken, I'm Dash's coltfriend." said Shade

"Dash will never go with a punk like you!" said Soarin

"Well now, why would she fall for a Wonderloser like you?"

"Because I knew her longer then you and that we both love each other!"

"More then what?"

"More then anything in all of Equestria."

"So then, you were that stallion I saw her leaving with at the party."

"Yes I was and now you are going to pay for what you have done to her."

"What do you mean?"

"YOU MONSTER!  YOU RAPED HER!"

"Well now, I guess I could tell you te truth, yes I made love to her."

Soarin then can't beleive what he was hearing and seeing, Shade here admits it to him AND he is smiling about it.

"And you know what Soarin, she is a good screamer."

Soarin anger then erupts like a volcano and he yells "YOU MONSTER!"

He then charges straight at Shade and a fight broke out just as quick between both Soarin and Shade.

Chapter 6: Soarin vs. Shade

"YOU MONSTER!" Soarin yelled while flying straight at Shade.

Soarin then ran into Shade that knocked him off of his hooves.  But then Shade brought down both of his hooves onto Soarins back which forced him to stop and then Shade kneed him in the face which sent Soarin to do a few flips backwards.  After Soarin recovered, Shade charges at him and Soarin then spins and kicks Shade in the gut.  Shade flew a few feet back because of it, then Soarin flew in close and then punches him in the face.

But Shade did not flinch and then he punced Soarin in the gut and then Soarin uppercuts him and in the process Shade kicks him in the jaw while spreading a bit of blood.  Soarin then backs up while wiping the blood from his lips.  Befor he charges at him, Shade says "Well well Soarin, you fight well."

"I try, and I was trained by the best."

Shade laughs and says "To bad for you I come from a long line of fighting pegasi all the way back to Commamder Hurricane."

Soarin then giggles and says "Wow, so did I."

And both of them charged at each other again and the fighting continues.

Rainbow Dash wakes up from a nap and sees no pony around and was about to go back to sleep when Midnight appears.

"Hey Dash."

"Hi Midnight, how did Soarin take the news?"

"Well, I actually told him everything including who raped you."

"What!  He is going to go after Shade and do something horrible."

"Would you blame him?"

Dash gets a confused look and says "Not really, but I don't want him to get into big trouble."

"I'm sure Soarin could take care of himself."

Dash look out the window and says "I hope so." "Please be alright Soarin my love." Dash thinks

Soarin crashesd on the ground but then sees Shade coming at him and Soarin rolls out of the way and Shade instead lands on the ground hard.  Shade then says "Your good Soarin but how long can you keep this up?"

Soarin then charges at Shade and does a headbutts into Shades head and made him land on his back.  And then Shade flips onto his hooves and blocks one of Soarins punches and punches him in the face.  Soarin did not flinch this time and uses his other hoof to punch Shade in the face on the jaw.  But Shade did not flinch and Soarin and Shade exchange punches  and kicks like they are in a kick boxing match.

It has been about an hour and both Soarin and Shade are standing a few feet from each other tired.  Soarin is breathing heavily when he hears Shade say "Well Soarin, you are good.  I can see why Dash would fall for you."

"I would not let you near Dash again for as long as I live." said Soarin

"Then your life is about to be cut short."

All of a sudden both of them got a new burst of energy and charged at each other and started another round of kick boxing in the air this time.  They continue this until thunder was heard and they both look up to see dark clouds forming.  Soarin was thinking of stoping until Shade punches him in the face and made him stagger backwards a bit.

Soarin again wipes blood from his muzzle and says "You are one evil pony."

Shade then says "Well now, no need for that.  Why don't you make this easier for yourself and leave Dash to me."

"Never!" yelled Soarin

Then both of them charge at each other again.

Rainbow Dash is eating some lunch in the hospital when Midnight comes in and says "Well the good news is our captain is forced to retire."

"Why?" said Dash with a confused look

"Well, it seems like some ponies had heard what happen to you while I was telling Soarin the news about you, and word spread around and many fans can't believe that the captain would not do anything about it."

Dash laughs and says "Well that seems to be great news."

"Well do you want better news?"

"What?"

"I'm the new captain and first thing I'm going to do is kick Shade off the team."

Both of them laugh but Dash could not help but wonder that Soarin is in trouble now.

Saorin now finds himself being held down to the ground with Shades hoof on his head.  Shade then says "Before I end your life Soarin, I promise to take good care of Rainbow Dash for you."

Soarin then can't believe what he is hearing and a tear comes out of his eyes and his mind goes back to the night him and Dash confessed there love to each other.

That night

Soarin was laying in bed next to Dash with one of his hooves behind her head.  While they are laying there, Soarin said "Did you know I fell in love with you at flight school?"

"Really," she said rolling to face him "Well now I want you to know that I started to love you a bit after that tryout we attended."

Then both of them kissed each other some more while they have there hooves around each other.

Present

Soarin all of a sudden got a new burst of energy and kicks Shade between his legs and pushes him off.

Shade then backs off and yells "You cheat!  What was that!"

"That was something that was created by me.  Want to know some more?"

Shade then charges at him but Soarin dodges to the side while using his hoof to knock him off his hoof.

"Lesson one: Always plan ahead." said Soarin

Shade charges at him but Soarin flapped his wings and says "Lesson two: Always be prepared."

"You are so dead!" said Shade while charging at him but Soarin grabs his wing and throws him to the ground and says "Lesson three: Never get mad."

Shade then charges upwards towards the storm clouds and yells "Time to use a trick I learned when I got my cutie mark."

Shade all of a sudden got near one of the clouds and stuck his hoof and a jolt of electricity goes through his body and then after afew minutes he charges straight towards Soarin.  Soarin then tries to stay awy from him but he realizes that he can't do this forever so he dicides to take him on head on.

So then he gets enough speed while flying upwards and then he does a complete u-turn and then both Soarin and Shade charges towards each other.  All of a sudden, Soarins body starts to be enveloped by a cone like shape and then

BOOM!

Soarin then flies so fast that he hits Shade head on at the same time and same speed and then the explosion was heard all around as far as Cloudsdale towards Canterlot.

About an hour later, a few guard ponies arrived at the scene and what they found surprises them: A big hole and black scorch marks can be seen all over the place.  And what they found surprises them even more: Two pegasi both covered with dirt and scorch marks.  From what they could tell, the dark colored one is dead and the light blue one is still alive.  So they took that one to the nearby town of Ponyville.

Chapter 7: New Beginnings

Chapter 7: New Beginnings

Rainbow Dash had just been checked out of the Clousdale Hospital and was about to head on home when she saw somepony reading a newspaper.  At first she dosen't take a second look when she saw the front page.  She then runs up and says to the stallion "May I have that?"

"Sure miss." said the stallion

So then Dash grabs it and reads what it says on the front page:

Later yesteraday, a big explosion was heard a few miles from Ponyville.  Two stallions were found at the center of the explosion and one had died from what experts said that his body had somehow was able to conduct electricity and somehow it was redirected too him.  The other stallion is in intensive care and seems to be in a coma.  From what was found out is that one of the stallions was a Shadowbolt and the other one is an Wonderbolt.  See more details on page C2

After Dash was done reading she thought "Soarin, was that you?"

She then flies off as fast as she can but then falls back down and realizes that she can't fly for a short time.  Just when she ws about to do something, her freind Midnight appears and says while holding an newspaper "Hey Dash, did you read this?"

"Yeah, and I think that it's Soarin."

"Well then, let me help you get to Ponyville and we'll find out."

After she gets on Midnight she says "Thanks."

"No problem now hold on tight."

Then both Midnight and Rainbow Dash went on towards Ponyville to find out if it is Soarin or if it is Shade.

About two hours of flight, both Midnight and Dash arrived at the Ponyville Hospital.  As soon as they went inside the nurse at the front desk says "Can I hep you?"

"Well, I'm here to see an injured pegasus that came here and is in a coma." said Dash

"And you are?"

Before Dash could say anything Midnight said "She is his marefriend and I'm a close friend of them."

The nurse gets a surprised look but then says "Alright, please come this way."

So then both of them foolow the nurse until they come to one room labled 206.  Dash then went inside and sees that it is Soarin, all covered in bandages.  From what she sees his head has a major cut from one side of his face all the way down towards his mouth without going through one of his eyes.  Both of his wings are in bandages and his front hooves are covered and are in slings.

Dash then walks towards the bed and sits beside it and starts to cry while saying "Soarin why, you did not have to go and kill yourself for me."

Both Midnight and the the nurse then walk out and the nurse went back to the desk.  And Midnight left the hospital and went towards the park and sat on a bench while thinking "This is all my fault, if I did not tell him who it was this would not have happened."

She then starts to cry and puts a hoof over her eyes.

She sits there for a few minutes until she hears a voice saying "Excuse me miss, are you alright?"

Midnight then removes her hoof and regonizes the stallion standing there is Thunderlane.

She then wipes the tears away and says "Not really, I'm a horrible friend."

"How so?" he said when he sits down next to her

"Well it happened after I met you.."

She then tells him all that she had done and afterwards he says "Wow, that does sound horrible."

"I know, and it's all my fault."

"No it's not."

"Yes it is."

"Look, this Dash I'm sure if she is a good friend she would forgive you."

She then continues to cry and Thunderlane then says "Hey, do you want to play with me and my little brother?"

She then looks at him and says "What?"

"Well I brought my little brother here and well, he is bit of a hooffull."

Before she could say anything a little grey colt came by and says "Hey big bro, are you coming?"

"Sure Rumble." he then turns to Midnight and says "So how about it?"

She thinks about it for a minute and finally says "Sure."

So Midnight, Thunderlane and Rumble play tag for a bit and Midnight thinks "This is a bit fun and I hope Thunderlane is right and Dash would forgive me." she was brought out of her train of thought when she hears Rumble say "Hey Thunder, is that the mare you were telling me about that you fine cute?"

Thunderlane blushes and says "Well, yeah she is and you stay out of this."

Rumble laughs at this and Thunderlane says to Midnight "Sorry about my liitle brother, he can be an handful."

As he was saying that, Midnight thinks "He finds me cute, and why am I nervous now, am I in love with him?"

They continue this until Midnight says "Well I should probably be going now see you two later."

Before she turned around, Rumblw says "Why don't you stay with us?"

She then says "Well, if your brother don't mind."

Thunderlane thinks for a minute and says "Well, I guess it is alright."

So all three of them walk off towards the house when Rumble says "So miss, do you have a coltfriend?"

"Rumble!" said Thunderlane

"Its alright," said Midnight "No I don't have a coltfriend."

Before Rumble could say anything Thunderlane says "Well now look we are finally here."

Midnight is surprised by the look of the house, it seems to be an simple one story house and when she went in it is a bit roomy and there is a couch in one room and Thunderlane says "I'll sleep on the couch you can have my bed."

Midnight thanks him and she was shown the room that she is sleeping in by Rumble before she layed down Rumble says "Hey miss, my brother likes you.  Even if he won't admit it."

"Thanks Rumble."

She then lays in bed and falls asleep.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Dash is talking to a sleeping Soarin "Hey Soarin, I hope you can hear me, if you must know I'll always be here.  And I won't leave your side."

As usual he did not get a response and says "Well, if you want to know Midnight is a bit responsible but I can't blame her.  You would have went on a crazy rampage just to find him so if you want me to I guess I can apologize to her."

So Dash decided to stay by Soarin until he wakes up no matter how long it takes.

Next Day

Midnight just had a restful night and was about to get up when she feels something wierd.  When she gets up she finds herself on the couch cuddled up next to Thunderlane.  She then jumps off the couch suddenly which made Thunderlane fall off of it.  The sudden fall woke up Thunderlane and he says "What the?  What just happened?"

He then look up and sees Midnight floating there with a bit of a blush on her face and all of a sudden it dawned on him and he blushes also.  He then says "Well now, this is awkward."

Midnight then says "You think?"

Both of them laugh and Midnight says "Well, I should go check on my friend."

"Well then, hope to see you again."

"Yeah, hope to see you too." said Midnight

So then Midnight left the house thinking "What just happened?  Do I really like him?  Could I have a crush on him?  He is sweet, handsome and has a cool little brother."

She continues on for a few minutes until she arrived at the hospital.  She checks in and when she finally arrives at the door she then remembers all that had happened the day before and thinks "Hope Dash could forgive me."

So she then opens the door and sees that Dash is asleep and breathes a sigh of relief until she sees Dash stir and turn her head towards the door and says "Midnight, is that you?"

"Yes Dash it is me." she said after she comes in.

Both of them look at each other for a few seconds until Midnight says "Dash, I feel responsible for what happened to Soarin and I would understand if you don't want to be my friend anymore and leave the Shadowbolts."

Dash then sits there with a surprised look but then says "Look Midnight, I don't blame you Soarin would've done this even if you did not tell him much."  she then takes a deep breath and says "So I do forgive you."

Midnight then smiles and says "Really?"

"Yea, so friends?" she said while extending a hoof.

"Freinds." Midnight said when she takes the hoof and shakes it.

Chapter 8: New Furture

Chapter 8: New Furture

It has been about two months since Soarin is in an coma and Dash and Midnight are worried but still have hope.  Even though Dash forgave Midnight for what she had done, Midnight is still feeling sorry about it.  Both of them are at a small cafe and Dash is showing her pregancy and Midnight made a comment about it "So Dash, how much longer until the foal is born?"

"I think some months but I'm still holding on and I'm not as fast as I was before."

"Well now I'm sure you're still wondering if the foal is going to be Soarins?"

Dash then puts down her sandwich and say "Yeah, I hope it is Soarins."

"It, you don't know if its a filly or a colt?"

"Nope, and I would rather be surprised then know what gender it is and I would rather have Soarin awake when I find out."

"Ok."

Both of them continue eating until Dash says "Hey, do you know what the Wonderbolts and the Shadowbolts are doing right now?"

"Well for some reason the princesses heard what happen and they decided to post pone anymore shows until this is all taking care of."

"It has been two months, what else needs taken care of?"

Before Midnight could say anything, a pony comes up to them and says "Excuse me, is one of you Rainbow Dash?"

"I'm Rainbow Dash adn you are?"

"I'm Lyra and I was told to find you and tell you that the hospital wants to see you."

All of a sudden Dash then shoots out of the cafe and ran as fast as she could towards the hospital.  When she finally arrived, she went up to the front desk says "I'm here, what is it?"

The nurse at the front desk look up and says "Well, if you want to know Soarin is awake and is recovering."

Dashs mind then starts to race and then she goes off towards his room and when she finally arrives she at first stops and takes a deep breath and opens the door slowly.  She then sees Soarin awake and eating some hospital food.  She then runs on in and jumps on Soarin and hugs him.  Soarin is surprised at first and then realizes that it is Dash hugging him and then he hugs her back.

Then Dash lets go and Soarin notices that she is crying and says "Hey Dash, are you allright?"

Dash then smiles and says "Yeah Soarin, I'm just glad you are woken up finally."

Then Soarin smiles and puts an hoof on her cheek and brings her in to kiss her until the door opens and in walks in Midnight.  "Oh come on, I was so close." thought Soarin

Midnight then comes in and says "Hey Soarin, your finally awake."

"Yep, I'm awake."  He then gets an suprised look and says "How long was I out?"

"Two months." said Dash

"Two months!" said Soarin with an even more surprised look "What happened to that pegasus that I was fighting if I remember."

"Well Soarin," said Dash "seems like he is dead."

"And what else happened when I was out?"

Midnight then takes a in a deep breath and says "Well, the old Shadowbolt captain was forced to retire and I'm the new captain, if I remember the Wonderbolts heard what you've done and the princess also heard about it and are willing to give you a full pardon."

"That sounds ok but why do I get the feeling that there is more?"

"There is," said Midnight "seems like that everypony heard about the relationship between you and Rainbow Dash."

Soarin then gets an surprise look and says "That sounds bad."

"It kindof is."

"How so?" said Dash

"Well Spitfire the captain of the Wonderbolts can't believe that you would fall for an Shadowbolt and that-"

"Hold on!" yelled Soarin "Spitfire is angry about my relationship choices?  Why?  I did nothing wrong."

"Well, since you woke up I would not be surprised if she comes in tomorrow and starts something."

"Know what, If she is going to overreact I might as well leave the Wonderbolts."

Both Midnight and Dash get a surprise look and Dash says "Are you serious!  But joining the Wonderbolts was your dream."

"If I remember right Dash, it was OUR dream until that foolish former Shadowbolt captain, no offense, took you away from me."

Dash then gets tears in her eyes and says "Soarin, you don't have to leave on my account.  I'm sure the princess will find a way for us to be together."

Soarin then takes one of her hooves and says "Please Dashie, this is my choice and I would do anything for you."

"Well then if you leave, I'm leaving the Shadowbolts."

Now it was Midnights turn to be surprised and says "Relly Dash, both of you are willing to leave your teams just to be together?"

Both of them nod and she says "Well now, who am I to stop true love.  And Dash if you are going to leave you need to sign some papers."

All three of them laugh at Midnights comment.

The Next Day

Soarin is in the lobby still recovering and playing a card game with another patient and was about to make his move when a nurse comes in and says "Excuse me Soarin, there is a Miss Spitfire here to see you."

"I knew it, she is here." thought Soarin "Send her in." said Soarin

After a few minutes, a yellow coated pegasus comes in and says to Soarin "Soarin!  Glad to see your okay."

"Glad to be alright." said Soarin

There was silence for a few minutes until Spitfire says "We missed you on the team Soarin."

"I'm sure everypony got by, even if nopony came to visit me." he said with an hint of anger in his voice

"Look Soarin we all would've came by but we were all busy."

"With what, from what I heard the shows are all put on hold until further notice." he said with a bit more anger

"Look Soarin we are all sorry we could not be there for you."

"Sure," he said with a bit more anger "at least there was one pony who was by my side almost all the time."

Spitfire now gets an angry look and says "Who, that Shadowbolt slut?"

"She is not a slut, she would've been a fine Wonderbolt if that other Shadowbolt captain got her first."

Spitfire then puts a hoof to her face and says "Soarin, can you just forget her and come on back to the team?"

"What!" Soarin yelled that the nurses out in the hallway could hear it. "You want me to forget her, you heartless monster, you don't care about me at all, all you care about is your so called reputation."

"Thats not true Saorin."

"Really, name one time you did something that you did not care about yourself?"

Spitfire then thinks for a minute trying to think of something.  But it was enough for Soarin to say "Thought so."

He then turns his back to her and says "You can forget about me then, I knew you would've sain something like this so here is omething for you."

He then reaches into his knapsack and handed her some papers which Spitfire regonizes as retirement papers

"Soarin, are you serious?"

"Yes I am.  And if you are wondering, my marefriend did the same thing and left the Shadowbolts so don't come back for me ever."

So then Spitfire left with a sad look on her face wondering what went wrong.

An Hour Later

Soarin is reading a book when a familiar face comes in.  "Hey Dash, how are things?"

"Well, I'm no longer a Shadowbolt and I'm doing fine right now."

Soarin smiles and says "Thats good, and I'm no longer a Wonderbolt if you are wondering."

"So, what now?"

"Well, I found a job here in Ponyville for a weather pegasi and I was thinking of taking it."

"Thats great, and I found a good cloud home for us.  Its in the sky and expensive but I think we can manage."

"Well, that just leaves us one last thing."

"What's that?" said Dash with a confused look

Soarin then looks into his puch and pulls out a small box and when he opens it it has a hoof ring and Dash knows what happens next and was more happy when Soarin says "Will you marry me Rainbow Dash?"

Wothout another word Dash hugs him and says "Yes!"

And both gave each other a long kiss.

Some Months Later

Soarin and Dash are now happily married and are about to have a foal on the way finally.  Soarin is now out of the hospital and is now the head of the weather team.  Rainbow Dash is her usual self and Saorin lets his mind wonder back to the wedding.

Rarity had done a wonderful job on all the dresses, a pony named Pinkie Pie did all the food and entertainment, there was even one pony named Twilight that somehow is Pricess Celestia's student and got her to do the ceremony, Fluttershy provided the music with her song birds and there was plenty of music and lots of pie provided by a family called the Apple Family.  Also there friend Midnight and her coltfriend Thunderlane were there.  There was even some awkward thing that happened at the reception, Spitfire came by to apologize.  So Soarin being in an happy mood and some persuasion from the princess forgave her.

Soarin was brought out of his daydream when he hears a crying foal.  He then goes on in and sees his wife laying in bed with a small bundle in her hooves.  When Soarin came up to see the foal, he sees that it is a colt and that it has a navy blue coat with a rainbow mane and tail.  He then says "So, is it ours?"

"Yes Soarin, the foal is ours, mine and yours."

Soarin then kisses Dash on the forehead and says "So, what are we naming him?"

"I was thinking Solar Rainbow."

"That sounds perfect."

Rainbow Dash then kisses there son on the head and says "Welcome, little Solar Rainbow."
