Prologue
This is the prologue. Since mods have a no re-post policy, I had to start with chapter 1.
SPOILERS: This fan-fiction will spoil the ending of Sonic Generations...sort of.

Sonic The Hedgehog
The fastest thing alive. A freedom fighter battling to save the world from the tyrannical 'Dr. Ivo Eggman Robotnik.' He has done so many times. Though some regrets have been considered and adventures sometimes should be left forgotten, but in the end, he's a hero.
SONIC Generations: NOT creative title
Classic Sonic is running through Green Hill Zone when a quake interrupts him. He shakes it off and continues. Just then, a mysterious creature appears many miles above him and attacks, erasing the color.
Meanwhile, 20 years later...
Miles “Tails” Prower flew through the air with the aid of his twin namesakes, flying as fast as his tails could take him. He soon saw his destination come into view: a small outcropping of land near the shore of a lake, surrounded by a few trees. Encouraged by the sight, he went into a dive, flying down towards the area.
As he neared the ground, he saw all of his and Sonic’s friends gathered around or near a lone picnic table, setting things up. Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, Cream the Rabbit, her Chao friend Cheese, Blaze the Cat, Rouge the Bat, and the Chaotix (Espio the Chameleon, Charmy Bee, and Vector the Crocodile) were all there. He landed on the ground at the bottom of a small hill and stopped to catch his breath after all the flying he just did, picking up on what everyone was saying as he panted. “I think we’ve got enough plates and cups available if we need them,” Blaze was saying.
“Oh, I hope Sonic really likes this! This is such a special day for him!” Cream said.
Tails stood up and started to run up the hill as he heard Knuckles say, “I’m sure he’ll at least appreciate it. Even he can’t run from birthdays.”
Tails crested the hill as Amy said, “Well, he’d better do more than just appreciate it after all the hard work I put into this!”
Rouge smirked, “You think you did all this by yourself, Amy? Don’t kid yourself.” Looking up, she said, “Oh, speaking of kids…”
Tails ran down the hill and stopped at the bottom as Espio said, “Welcome back, Tails. Is Sonic on his way?”
The young fox replied, “I think so. I left him a message to meet me here. He should’ve seen it by now.”
Charmy cheered, “I can’t wait to see the look on his face!”
Vector said, “Calm down, Charmy. He still has to get here before we can surprise him!”
Tails spun his twin namesakes and flew up as he said, “I’ll keep an eye out for him. Are we ready?”
Knuckles spoke, “Everything’s all set up. We’re good to go.”
Tails nodded, “Good.” He landed on top of the hill and looked out into the distance. Moments later, he saw a blue streak coming towards him. Turning back around, he called, “Heads up, everyone! He’s coming!”
He then turned back around, only to see a familiar blue hedgehog come skidding to a stop right next to him. “Hey, Tails! So what’s up? You wanted me to meet you here, right?” Sonic asked.
Tails nodded, “Yeah, about that…” He gestured towards the bottom of the hill, and as Sonic looked…
“SURPRISE!” everyone shouted at the same time, followed by party poppers being shot off. Sonic looked down and saw, in addition to chili dogs, cupcakes, and small coolers full of cold beverage, there was a white birthday cake with pink frosting sitting on the picnic table, which all of his friends were standing around.
He grinned, “Aw, you guys…” He then followed Tails down the hill towards the picnic table as everyone began to enjoy the birthday spread, avoiding Amy’s attempts to give him a birthday kiss as he did.
As they neared the table, Tails turned to Sonic and said, “It’s kind of impossible to surprise you.”
Sonic replied, “You totally got me this time. I had no idea.”
Tails smiled, “Yeah, right.” Upon reaching the table, the fox kit grabbed a plate holding a chili dog with a ribbon wrapped around it and held it out towards Sonic. “Happy birthday, Sonic. I hope you like it.”
Sonic grabbed the chili dog and took a bite out of it before saying, “Like it? I LOVE it!” The duo continued talking as the party began to get in full swing and Amy started walking over to Sonic, attempting to make another attempt at kissing him.
Unfortunately, everything was interrupted when what sounded like lightning and a fierce wind blasted through the area, sending Sonic’s chili dog and everything on the picnic table flying! As if the force suddenly reversed itself, everything (with the exception of Sonic’s chili dog, which had flown straight up) went flying back the way it came, some of Sonic’s friends getting hit by baked goods or wet as everything was sucked up into a purplish-black void.
Tails pointed up at the void as a creature surrounded by black smoke pulled itself out of the gateway it had created and exclaimed, “Sonic, look!” The blue hedgehog turned his attention away from his missing chili dog and looked up at the creature now floating in the air, the vortex it had come through having closed. As it began to create portals that floated in the air, Tails asked, “What’s it doing?”
All of a sudden, Charmy was caught up in the fierce wind that was being created by the creature’s portals and was pulled towards one, despite Vector and Espio’s attempts to grab him. They soon followed after him, as did Knuckles, Rouge, and Amy, the pink hedgehog screaming, “SONIC!” They were all pulled through different portals, each one closing around them.
Sonic ran towards the creature, ignoring the pull of the wind, and shouted, “Hey! Not cool!” He leapt up towards it and went into a Homing Attack, aiming for the creature’s face. Unfortunately, it pulled its right arm in front of it and slapped him away, Sonic hitting the ground and bouncing back over the picnic table and over the fence, coming to a stop on his front on the grass between the fence and the lake.
As he lay on the ground, unmoving, Cream and Cheese were pulled into one of the three remaining portals and Blaze into another. Tails, as he struggled to hold onto the grass, looked up at Sonic and called, “Sonic… Help us…!” He then lost his grip and was pulled towards the last remaining portal, shouting, “SONIC!”
The blue blur tried to fight the haze clouding his head at his best friend’s shout, but was unable to do anything more than twitch a little as the last portal closed, blackness moving in and covering his vision…
Sonic wakes up in a white dimension. He gets up. "Where am I?" He looks ahead and sees Green Hill Zone(colorless).He runs to it.
After beating Green Hill Zone:
Tails appears and thanks Sonic.
"Is it me or is that place we were just in awfully familiar?" Sonic asks.
"Not to me. But this place looks like something sucked all the life and color out of it. Totally strange."
"No stranger than rescuing genies in magic books, saving aliens in interstellar amusement parks or a princess from flames of disaster....ugh." The memory made them both shutter. A portal appears but they don't notice.
"Did you see how bad I controlled? Worse than Sonic Adventure and then some and..........Who are they?" Tails points at a group of 6 ponies and a baby dragon. They wake up and stand too.
"Uh, guys. I think were not in Equestria anymore," said Rainbow Dash.
This is a remake of a fanfic that had bad reception before. I restarted from scratch and I hope I can move on to make more chapters with funny jokes. I am trying harder than ever to make it work. It will get better after approval. Trust me.
Green Hill Zone & Chemical Plant Zone
A long time ago...no.
Sonic the Hedgehog is the fastest thing alive......no.
He stared in the worst game of 2006......no. Hmm.....! Ah ha!
Basically, Sonic and Tails meet ponies.
"Who are you?" Sonic asked to the ponies, bunched together. He had ran over to check out the new visitors.
"I'm Rainbow Dash. I'm the fastest flyer in Equestria." Rainbow bragged to the hedgehog.
"What's Equestria?....But first, How about a race?" Rainbow closed in on his face.
"Ready, Spiny." She sticks her tongue out.
"3...2...1...." Spike stops when Fluttershy buts in.
"WAIT!" The other fall over, stupefied. "Oh! I've never seen a talking hedgehog before." She fawns over him and flies around him.
"Stop it, will yeah?" He pushed her aside. "Your almost as bad as Amy. Speaking of........WAIT! GUYS!" He screams to find his friends.
"Coming, Sonic." Tails arrives and suddenly faints after looking at the ponies.
"TAILS! BUDDY, You okay?" He rushes over and picks him up.
"OH! YOU POOR THING." Fluttershy flies up and knocks Sonic aside and picks up and flies Tails over to prepare a sick bed.
"What was that for?" Sonic ran up to Fluttershy.
"I'm so sorry. I'm Fluttershy. I'm usually very shy. I love taking care of animals."
"I should explain. We're ponies from Equestria. I'm Twilight. You've met Rainbow and Fluttershy. This is Spike, Rarity, Applejack and Pinkie Pie." She pointed to all the ponies as she named them.
"How did you get here?" Sonic asked, confused and interested.
"While playing Sonic Generations, the television sucked us up."
"Okay......Now, about the race..."
"I think we should hold off for now and gather out barrings." She closed her eyes.
"Alright. I'll get you guys back home." They nodded. "I'll start over there." He pointed at Chemical Plant. He ran to Fluttershy. "Make sure you take care of him. He's like a brother to me." He wiped away a tear.
"Of course. He's in good hoofs." She smiled at him. Sonic then ran to the zone.
After restoring Chemical Plant Zone and Amy Rose, Sonic came back.
"Ugh...!" Tails was waking up. Sonic was near his sick bed.
"Tails, you okay?" Sonic asked, worry in his tone.
"Yeah, I...WAIT! I REMEMBER! SONIC, DON'T YOU KNOW WHO THEY ARE?" He shouted, no doubt making Sonic deaf.
"No. Who?"
"It's Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Their from our favorite show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." He was frantic in his speech.
"Hmm...OH MY GOD! IN ALL THE CONFUSION, I TOTALLY FORGOT!" He got up and ran at Rainbow, knocking her down. "RAINBOW, CAN I FEEL YOUR MANE?!" He looked nuts. Tails got up and flew at Twilight with great speed as well.
"TWILIGHT, CAN I FEEL YOUR MANE?" He knocked her down, too. Spike couldn't help but laugh.
"...HA.....Looks like they have some fan-boys....HA HA."
The two tackled ponies were speechless at this turn. Sonic and Tails felt their manes and giggled with glee. Rainbow was first to speak.
"Please get off us." They followed and said "Sorry."
"It's okay. It was just very...surprising, that's all," Twilight said. "I never knew we had fans."
"Are you kidding? Your famous in my dimension," Sonic said. "Every guy love you all." All of the ponies blushed.
"Sonic, though I'm excited by our new friends, we should keep looking for our Mobius friends." Tails suggested. Sonic, noticing Metropolis Zone in the distance, runs to it.
Metropolis Zone
Sonic is leaning on a wall near Metropolis Zone, bopping his head to the music.
"Sonic!" shouted a familiar voice. Tails flew towards him.
"Tails! You okay, buddy?" Sonic asked.
"Yeah. I'm glad to see your handling the pony excitement well, too."
"I got over it when I raced Rainbow Dash. We're going out on a date after we finish this mess." Tails stepped back.
"I never took you for the romantic type," Tails said.
"She's as fast as me, if not faster. She's the only one that can keep up with me. I thought it'd be only fitting to have a fast girlfriend for the fastest dude alive...," he sighed. "....gonna have to get used to that."
"Won't be easy, but you'll manage. Plus, I've started to hang out with Twilight. She's my level of knowledge. A dream come true if I do say so myself."
"Don't get too cocky, fox boy," Sonic joked.
"Yeah yeah. So, what's next?"
"I think that underwater city over there is next. Better grab a bubble shield." Sonic then ran over to the shop then the confessional.
Sonic: Tails...ON A DATE? HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Tails: *blushes from all the laughter*
