Prologue
The day was young, with the wind as restless as ever. She lie there, as still as a stone. Completely lifeless. Everypony stumbled past her in to much chaos to realize her dead body even existed. A young filly stood beside her, sobbing with every ounce of liquid she had.
"Help! Please!" the filly begged as she stared at the still lifeless corpse of what was once her full-of-life mother. No pony even cared to glance at the situation that happened behind them. She knew the pony that killed her was in that crowd. He was a guard, who's only job was to maintain peace within the village during chaotic times such as these. He had no choice but to kill her off. She was putting others' lives at risk.
Before the young filly could think about her building up insanity she was lifted off the ground by a pony with a very well protected rad suit. He yelled unpredictable words at her through his/her mask. She couldn't understand a single thing him/her said. Until the pony pulled out a very peculiar looking yellow suit that was hanging over his mane. She got the idea that she was supposed to get inside of that weird looking space pony contraption, but she had more important issues at hand.
She struggled and struggled, doing her best to resist being put into the suit.
"SS-hop wHHurming!!" She/He yelled begging the young filly to remain calm.
"B-but my mom!" She yelled in a hysterical fit of flailing hooves.
The pony then took off her mask revealing a beautiful orange, curly mane. She grabbed the young filly by her shoulders and shook her softly, trying to retain what little composure the young filly still had.
"Listen, I promise that if you get into this suit, everything will be okay!" Junebug then yelled. "And crying won't get you're mom back!"
The young filly looked through the mare to see the amazing lights that were raining from the ground which then met at a beautiful ark at the sun. She grew a smile, completely forgetting about her mother for the first time.
"What are you looking a-" Junebug asked as she turned around. "Shit."
A howl of screams sounded as miles away pretty explosions were met where the once beautiful stream of lights had met the ground. Junebug looked down at her mask, realizing she wasn't wearing it. She quickly put it back on and frantically tried putting the filly into the suit. The young pony was still awestruck by the beautiful light show happening a couple miles away at what should have been Manehattan.
The beautiful sound of the lock on the suit clicking shut pleased Junebug whom had worked so hard to get it on. She then turned around to see the explosions getting closer, she quickly picked up the young filly and sprinted towards the safe and secure, Stable 42.
Once she reached it, she realized immediately, that something was wrong. As they drew closer to the vault, they spotted a group of panicking ponies, each with their mouths wide open at the bombardment of balefire bombs that trailed less then a couple miles away. The ponies didn’t even pay any mind to the mare trotting passed them. Upon reaching the stable, Junebug immediately realized the problem. It was locked from the inside out. The young mare’s stomach lurched as she realized the impending doom that was about to be brought upon her.
"Look..." The young filly lifted her head. One of those pretty fireworks were coming for her. She reached a hoof out to grab it. The mare gave one last worried look at the filly through her mask, mouthing the words, "I'm sorry."
The once beautiful town of Ponyville was being consumed by what appeared to be, to the young filly's standards, a flurry of beautiful crimson colored fireworks. Until, her and the mare carrying her were engulfed in the beautiful light show as well.
