Resume: Display of Naked Affection is the seven Better Together fan-short. The fan-episode focuses primarily on Rarity and Sunset Shimmer.

At Carousel Boutique, Prim Hemline are looking at Rarity's work.

“It's absolutely... adequate.” Prim said dryly at Rarity's designs.

“After working here for months and months, I knew I'd finally do something to catch your eye!” Rarity sighs happily.

“In a couple of days, a style scout from Canterlot City Fashion Week is visiting our shop. I need a window display with something fresh. I would like you to design and execute it.” Prim said seriously.

“Really?” Rarity gasps. “Thank you, Ms. Hemline! You will not regret this!”

Prim Hemline starts to leave but stops and looks at her. “Oh, and Rarity? Don't mess up.” She leaves.

“Thank you for the opportunity! I thrive under pressure. One does not become a diamond without pressure.” Rarity sighs.

Later while walking with Sunset.

“IT'S TOO MUCH PRESSURE! What in heavens will I do? I have tried everything – fringe, appliqués, cheese! The muse has left me!” Rarity said so stressed.

“I'm sure you'll have an idea soon. You can't force artistic inspiration.” Sunset said.

People exclaiming indistinctly looking at street art.

“Another piece by the secretive street artist Flanksy. I wonder what it's like not to want credit and praise for one's genius creations.” Rarity said smiling.

“Y-Yeah, uh... me, too.” Sunset smiles nervously.

“This mural is everything I want to say, but through paint instead of fabric!”

Later on, Sunset walks completely naked on the street calmly until she get to the boutique where they see Rarity painting the display in bad colors and she was naked as well.

Rarity come out of the store, she looks at Sunset and starts blushing. “Uhh...Sunset? What are you doing?”

Sunset looks at Rarity and blushes. “Oh hi Rarity...Uhh...I am just...getting some fresh air, nothing more.”

Both girls blush and look away from each other, and then, Sunset sees Rarity's art on the display.

“Uh, it looks like you found your muse again.” Sunset concerns.

Rarity nervously smiles. “Ah-ha-ha-ha! Yes, uh,” She clears throat. “it's a postmodern installation piece celebrating the creative process— Ooh, who am I kidding? It's atrocious! This window's not avant-garde; it's avant-marred!” She said worried.

Sunset looks nervous and nods. "Uh...Rarity, i am not one to criticize art but... How did you naked too?"

Rarity gasps and looks away. "Umm... I... I guess I was just..." Both girls blush and get uncomfortable, trying to change subjects.

“Maybe there's a way we can save it.” Sunset concerns for Rarity's display art.

“It's supposed to be finished by tomorrow! ” Rarity sobs. “I'M GOING HOME! Au revoir, career!” Bawling as she leave, even she's now naked and she not wanna tell Sunset what really happend to her boutique's outfit.

Sunset Shimmer looks at the window and thinks.

The next day, Rarity returns to the shop now dressed her ocasional dress: a light blue sleeveless tank top with a lime green collar with blue diamonds and pearls on the top, and a frilly detail on the bottom, a purple belt with her pony counterpart's cutie mark on the football-shaped diamond buckle, a purple pencil skirt, and purple high-heels with the same pony counterpart's cutie mark on them, and sees a crowd of people impressed by the now improved window display, including Prim Hemline.

“Huh?” Rarity said confused by see a crowd at the display.

The crowd gasping, exclaiming. Rarity gasps too as she see the windows fully decorated.

“Hmm. I don't know how you did it, Rarity, but congratulations.” Prim walk away.

Then suddely, Rarity feels someone watching her, looking behind her, Rarity sees Sunset still naked only with black jacket on covered her naked body in an alleyway with paint on her cheek and realizes that Sunset is in fact "Flanksy".

Sunset wipes the paint off her face, winks at Rarity and leaves.

Rarity gasps as she realizes and smiles.
