Resume: Pinkie Pie fills in for Rarity as babysitter for a little girl named Lily Pad when Rarity gets invited to a fashion designers' gala at the last minute. Pinkie suggests some fun activities for them to do, but Lily would rather sit quietly and read a book.

At outside of Pinkie Pie's house, Rarity brings Lily Pad to be babysat by Pinkie Pie so that she can attend the Young Designers Gala, Lily Pad is initially shy around Pinkie Pie, she was supposed to be babysat by Rarity, but when she was invited to the Young Designers' Gala, she had to cancel and instead passed Lily on to Pinkie Pie instead. When she arrived at the Pie residence, Lily Pad was put off by Pinkie's eccentric personality, but was otherwise polite to the teen.

“I can't thank you enough for filling in for my babysitting emploi, Pinkie Pie. I couldn't pass up the last-minute ticket to the Young Designers' Gala.” Rarity said.

“Ah, no biggie-wiggie! I love kids!” Pinkie said with excited.

“Oh, you're a small pink lifesaver! Toodle-oo!” Rarity said relieved and she goes to the Young Designers Gala.

“Hi, Lily! Welcome to the best babysitting bash on the block! I have all sorts of super-fun stuff for us to do!” Pinkie said as she squeaks her party cannon, Lily Pad goes inside and Pinkie closes the door.

“Do you want to... bake a yummy cake, or... make super-silly hats, or bake a silly hat-shaped cake?” Pinkie suggests some fun activities for them to do with Lily.

“Um, I-I think I'll just sit quietly and read, if that's okay.” Lily withdraws herself to reading on her tablet on the couch.

“Oh! Okay.” Pinkie said.

Clocks tickings, As time passes by, Pinkie gets bored and asks Lily what she's reading.

“Boring! So... what's the story about?” Pinkie asks.

“It's... It's a... It's about a band of girl pirates who are sailing the seven seas, and one day, there's a big storm and stuff.” Lily explains the premise of the pirate-themed story.

“Then what happens?” Pinkie asks.

“Um, they get stranded on a desert island.” Lily reads her book at her tablet.

“Whee! Woo-hoo! Hmm? Dessert Island! Want some?” Pinkie Munches.

“Unh-unh.” Lily agrees.

“Tell me more!” Pinkie said as starts dressing up to and reenact the scenes with elaborate backdrops and props.

“Um, and then the monkeys...” Lily keeps reading her book at her tablet, and Pinkie imitates monkey screeching.

“...and the crabs...” Lily keeps reading her book at her tablet.

“Pinch, pinch, pinch, pinch!” Pinkie imitates crabs and tickles Lily on her shoulder, and then, she takes off Lily Pad's pink flats and tickles her bare feet.

“Heheheh...” Lily giggles and continues to reading her book at her tablet. “...and the birds...” Pinkie dresses up as a bird and squawks.

“...become the pirate girls' friends and they teach them all kinds of cool tricks.” Lily keeps reading her book at her tablet.

“Pinkie want a cracker! Whee! Hahahah... Rawk! Pinkie want a cracker! Rawk!” Pinkie dresses up as a monkey, laughts, imitates him, squawks and pants.

“Do you want me to read it to you?” Lily asks.

“Do I?!” Pinkie said with excited to continue.

Later that evening, Lily finishes reading the book out loud, and Pinkie compliments Lily on her babysitting skills before falling asleep.

"The pirates waved to their new friends on the shore as they sailed into the sunset. They lived happily ever after. The end." Lily Pad finally finishes reading the story to Pinkie, causing her to fall asleep on the couch.

“You're gonna make a terrific babysitter some day, Lily.” Pinkie said to Lily as she yawns, snores and falls asleep. “Monkeys... pirates...”

Lily Pad smiles happily, and then, she strips Pinkie Pie naked, by taking her white tank top with her pony counterpart's cutie mark, her 3-shaded pink rah-rah skirt, her white bra, her white panties, her blue-ribboned headband in her hair with a heart on it, her white opaque tights, and her pink and blue strapped sandals with a pink heart on them off of her body and off of her feet, Lily Pad then puts Pinkie's clothes on her side even she's now barefoot thanks to Pinkie Pie.

“I hope I'm as good as you.” Lily said happily and quietly as she puts the blanket on Pinkie Pie and petties her head.
