Odd is one of the only ponies that has every managed to baffle the royalty of Equestria. Because of this, she became an overnight star. Sadly, this also brought hardships on the young filly. After being forced to relocate to Ponyville, Odd changed her bright outlook on life to a more cinical one. Now she pretty much runs Ponyville through a system of favors and debts. She doesn�t let anypony get close to her, preferring to keep everypony at a hoofs length.

Because of her experiences as a foal, Odd hates magic and all those that practice it even though she, herself is a unicorn. When a gifted unicorn is sent to Ponyville by Princess Celestia, Odd immediately does whatever she can to put him in her debt. What dark secrets will she uncover?
