Story: Pre-Subnautica + MLP
Chapter: 5. 18 survivers and one grumpy hermit Griffon versus Planet 4546B

The following night cycle the survivers of all activ Lifepods used their Distress call as a chat room like communication platform. While quite chaotic, it worked well enough to make a plan of action.

Currently only 2 already joined Royal Class Lifepod Nr. 1 and 4 with Twilight, Zephyr and Applejack where currently in a area where fish was to find. It was she guessed more than enough to feed everyone, with plenty of aquatic plants that were eatable for ponies.

The plants tasted all rather dull but had surprisingly high nutrition values if the PDA scanner was right. So everyone would now tow their Lifepod towards Royal Lifepod 1&4 positions. Rather than salvage the other Lifepods since everyone's rations in water and eatables where running critically low.

With starvation near them once their food run out it was simply unreasonably to go after the unresponsive Lifepods. Especially since Gales group had find out how one of them ended insides his still swimming lifepod as Predator food of something that could breach a Lifepod of the higher class armor.

Gales group with their Lifepod column of Lifepods 5,11 and 20 would make the best they could to reach the rendezvous point.

2 days later.

2 days later did Gales group arrival towards the Royal Lifepod was done. After Spike and Twilight having a heart warming and by Griffon standards heart melting hug and sob of relief about them surviving, did they all go to work.

They joined the 5 Lifepods together in a line and with exception of Zephyr with his 'unrealistic wound to work', started to hunt for food and tried to find ways to make drinkable water.

By the end of the day did they found out that they could for everyone's taste fine one fish or another and that one fish specifically had a natural tendency to filter drinkable water. The water bladder fish was himself not very tasty and thanks to Twilight magic expertise, harvesting of water out their bladders was done instead of killing them for a bottle worth of water. That would help them all not to overfishing the water bladder creature.

Gilda had that day the biggest scare when she for the first time meet two fishes in a kissing pose that made her think a way bigger creature was infront of her. The screaming trough the radio give them all emotionally half a heart attack since they all know about at least one unknown aquatic Predator being be abel to chew trough a Lifepod fast enough to catch its occupant.

After the situation had been cleared up, did Twilight investigate Spike constantly coughing. She managed to heal Spikes damaged lungs via healing/restoration spell.

3 days later.

3 days later had all survivers made it towards the rendezvous point and they had been working on restore their food supplies and water stores.

Their overview was that they had:

Royal Class Lifepods Nr. 1,2,3 and 4 as central pieces joined in a quad formation.

The Premium Class Lifepods Nr. 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 had been placed 3 pod each on one side.

The Higher Class Lifepods 11,12 and 13, had been like 14,15 and 20 be placed like the Premium Lifepods before on opposing sides and made a symmetrical shape.

2 of the Higher Class Lifepods where held separately to salvage the remaining still not present Lifepods.

Of the 18 survivers would 6 go into the 2 Duolifepod of Lifepods 29 and 25 be send out to salvaged the floating Lifepods and loot the sunken once if possible.

It would later take them 30 days to return to the main construct of joined Lifepods, but they had only managed to salvage 2 more Lifepods that just like the ones that Gales group found, was breached trough the bottom hatch and with blooded interior told them what become of the former occupants.

Once the 6 Griffons returned with the 4 Lifepods, was decided that would be connected trough titanrods in a quad formation and would be used to map the area they found themself in.

So far had the Equis surviver Community only mapped out what they could find via air scouting.
By following airborne herbivores did they find 3 islands.

To everyone surprise did former Captain Sharpbeak crash landed in the middle of one of them. After a verbal confrontation did the Griffon eagle Sharpbeak pulled out a weapon and dared anyone to try get the killed crew of the
'True Friendship' avenged.

Under protest was now one of the Islands his territory. He agreed to grow plants for everygriff and non Griffon for exchange of amnesty.
Once again under protest did the Equis surviver Community agreed on the deal.

After all, he had literally military grade weapons and battle armor with him to everycreatures uneasiness.

The end result was now a community of 18 Equis survivers made out of 8 Ponies with 2 Stallions and 6 Mares, 1 male Dragon and 9 Griffons with 2 eagless and 7 eagles.
The one Griffon hermit eagle insisted to be left out of any activities outside Farming and trading.

By now everyone had a more or less established area he or she worked on. Sharpbeak, Applejack Joline Joliny Apple and Pinkie Pie had their focus on Island fruits and crops growing to feed everyone.

Rainbowdash Do, Fluttershy Avatar and her brother Zephyr Avatar had taken to keep the Crab like creatures away from the farmers and stopping the creatures to dig out their planted young trees. Apperently did something about them really tickeld their fancy.

Rarity Bell did what she do best, helping to find minerals that reacted to the Gem finding spell and Lifepod interior design. With everyone using Gales redesigned survivel gear and wetsuits did beside changing the motiv printed on them nothing. To Raritys dissatisfaction was noone willing to wear anything else.
What didn't stop her from looking fabulous.
Her old hobby of gossiping was pretty mutch dead, but she tried her hooves on shipping instead.

But the current population of the Community did make sure that her new hobby was not to be very long lived.

Twilight tried working on a magical solution to improve everycreatures survival chances, ever second day did she go out to try studying the alien construction found on one of the Islands.
Further under protests of everyone did she occasionally with Spike dive down the alien constructed cable and tried to study the alien monument that she had a theory on being a teleportation device.

Gilda if not helping the farming efforts often on Gales recommendation go over the Lifepods to keep Gales Pod copys updated and maintenanced occasionally if needed the Pods.

All of the communitys Griffons with exception of Gilda keep scouting the area from the sky.
They had occasionally for a very short time dived into the water in a team of 3 Griffons to map the areas. 2 Griffon prepared to get the 1 Griffon diving evacuated if necessary into the air.
What was to nocreatures surprise that it was more than once necessary.

Without any transportation was their viable exploration limited to 500 meters.
Despite that they mapped surprisingly well the area out.

The only exception was Spike, his extremely sturdy body managed to dive deeper than anyone, as long a floating device made by Pinkie Pie helped the brave Dragon to stay supplemented with breathable air.

Gale had by now access to all Lifepods individually, he had equipped everyone in the community with his improved designs and had become the spine of the community that had truly accepted him as one of their own. With exception of the Griffon Sharpbeak.

Thanks to the newest design of the PDA platform everyone was using, did he could observe all day and night long the community and by monitoring the communication did he learn that they really meant it when they say he was a friend to relay on. He in turn stopped to see them as expandable Meatbags and updated them as acceptable expandable fleshy companions.

Their behavior was very often very entertaining to watch and study for Gale.

From Fluttershy trying to make friends with lower class lifeforms, to Fluttershy trying to convince them they are no food with exception of Zephyr.

Or Spike trying to gain access to Raritys heart. With emphasis to Gale that he didn't mean to gut her like a fish to get to her heart after askingfor more details.

Twilight for another example rather focused on the energy based science called magic, while Gale tried to further improve equipment if needed. Unfortunately was both their success in studying the alien construction only superficial and basically ended in:

I can't get in and I have no idea how it works.

Unknown to all did the Equis population was under passive non agressiv observation.
One side was the security constructs from the Remnants of the Construction race and the other was a old Empress watching telepathicly what the new guests where up to. Once she learned their language by studying them with passively non to intrusive telepathic scanning, might they agree to visit her and play.

The most interesting thing was the little male that was so similar in telepathic wavelengths. He might be able to fit in her cage and give her his seed to fertilized her last eggs that would not be stolen from her this time around...

They have established a solid Community near the shallow areas on the Subnautica game map, but what will they do next?
