Considering the bombshell I dropped on every pony, I should've expected this sort of reaction. But it wasn't the only bombshell that happened that day...

"Look sis, it's not that I don't trust you, it's that I'm not sure if I can trust him so easily." Shining Armor said.

"Why is the stallion guard giving me the evil eye? I don't mean any harm, I swear." Amicitia said.

"I'll be fine BBBFF. If Amicitia wanted to harm me or any pony else, he'd have done so by now." I argued.

Amicitia was gazing at Rainbow Dash's mane and tail. "Wow, I love the rainbow design of your mane and tail." Amicitia said, eyes full of wonder.

"...Heh. It's pretty awesome, isn't it?" Rainbow Dash asked, smuggly.

"Oh boy. Amicitia just stroked Rainbow's ego." Applejack said slamming her head onto my table.

"Please do be careful with Twilight's table darling." Rarity said.

"...See what I mean?" I asked.

"...That is an extremely good point." Shining Armor said.

"By the way, what's with the amount of love the young drake is producing?" Amicitia asked.

"Drake? What's a drake?" Fluttershy asked.

"...Are you serious? You don't know that you have a baby dragon in this library?" Amicitia asked.

"You mean Spike right? Is drake another word for a baby dragon, perhaps?" Applejack asked.

"Drake is the term we changelings use for baby dragons who have yet to gain their wings." Amicitia said. "...Huh. Seems parts of my memory are starting to return but I still can't seem to remember everything yet. Such as who gave me my name. There's even a whole two years of my life missing from my memory." He added.

"T-two whole years?!" Princess Celestia exclaimed.

"...Her being taken aback by that statement is a bad thing, right?" Amicitia asked.

"Eeyep." Applejack said simply. I don't blame her.

"Okay. Just making sure." Amicitia said.

"It could just be that Amicitia doesn't remember anything for the past two years, because Chrysalis had him brainwashed for that long." Twilight said.

"That's a disturbing thought, and quite frankly, it disturbs me." Princess Luna said.

"It disturbs me too Luna." Princess Celestia said.

"...That's a bad thing, right?" Amicitia asked.

"Yes, it is; because it means that we can officially have Chrysalis charged with more than just invading Equestria. Of course, we'd need to be able to know if she had any heirs to the throne before we consider stripping her of her throne." Princess Celestia said. That's when a knock on the door occured.

"I'll get it." I said and opened the door to find Spitfire there.

"C-captain Spitfire, wh-why are you here?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"The Wonderbolts found a Changeling flying around Cloudsdale. But all he's been asking about is when he can get to finding his brother." Spitfire said. "Since he didn't seem like he was attacking any ponies and was just going around using some sort of harmless magic on them, I'm not sure what to do." She added. She noticed Amicitia. "Another changeling is here in Ponyville?" Spitfire asked.

"We were just talking about him Captain. This is Amicitia." Princess Celestia said.

"...Did you just say his name is Amicitia?" Spitfire asked.

"That's my name. I know it's in latin and everything, but I promise I'm not a bad changeling." Amicitia said.

"Then you've found him. You've found the heir to King Virum's throne." Spitfire said, relaxing.

"Virum? Whose Virum?" I asked.

"That was the name of the late Changeling King who lost his life in the battle of Radical Hill long ago. He along with six changelings, and six unicorns lost thier lives to defeat a demon known as Astrotle Mondoli. It was Virum's plan B of sorts. Plan A involved Changelings, Unicorns, Earth ponies, and Pegasi simply trying to overwhelm the demon." Spitfire said.

"Th-that describes my dream to a T." Amicitia said. "Could Virum have given me those memories? But why me? Why me out of every other drone in the hive?" He asked.

"You don't know? Amicitia, you are the son of King Virum and Queen Uxorem." Spitfire said.

"Those names are both latin. They mean ‘Husband’ and ‘Wife’ respectively." I said.

"But, I thought Queen Chrysalis's hive was the only hive left?" Amicitia asked.

"...Right. You wouldn't know. At some point just before the battle took place, Queen Uxorem changed her name to Chrysalis." Spitfire said. "I only know because my father imparted this knowledge to me. He was one of the Pegasi in that battle." She added.

"...Wait, you're saying we already have the rightful heir to Queen Chrysalis's throne right here in this room?!" Twilight exclaimed. "But that means that Chrysalis brainwashed her own son. And just when I thought things couldn't have gotten worse for her." She added.

"There's no doubt we'll be able to strip Chrysalis of her throne and power now, and give it to Amicitia." Celestia said. "Better to give it to him anyways." She added.

"...Yeah. He doesn't seem to want to harm any pony." Shining Armor said.

"C-can you bring the changeling drone here then? I wish to talk with him or her." Amicitia said.

"Sure, I guess I can do that." Spitfire said.

Some time later, the changeling was here in my library.

"I-I know you. Your Pharynx, right?" Amicitia asked.

"...Prince Amicitia? Is that you again? It's been two years since you've been yourself again. I never knew what happened to you that caused such a strange change, but I always suspected your mother had something to do with it." The changeling said.

"Well that just confirmed that Amicitia is the heir to the throne if this changeling drone amitted it himself." Rainbow Dash said. "Not that I doubted Spitfire's word on the matter to begin with, but it's good to have additional evidence." She added.

"Heh. I don't take any offense to that statement." Spitfire said.

"Pharynx, what happened for you to be here, exactly?" Amicitia asked.

"My brother didn't return to the hive. And your mother brands him an outsider now since it's been more then three days with no contact. I came to come find him, despite knowing that Chrysalis would exile me from the hive for it. But I don't care. My brother is too important to me." Pharynx said. Rainbow Dash couldn't help but admire the loyalty there.

"We'll find him Pharynx. As the heir to the Changeling throne, I promise you that we will find him." Amicitia said.

"I know you will Prince Amicitia. And I swear I'll help protect you and any others you want me to. Right now, I turn to you for guidance." Pharynx said.

"Then I guess you'll be staying here in Ponyville with me. That's alright with all of you, right?" Amicitia asked.

"Just so long as neither of you do anything that goes against Equestria as a whole, you may stay here in Ponyville if you wish." Celestia said.

"Thank you Princess Celestia. I hope that eventually, the entire rest of the hive can be liberated from my mother. May I make just one request though?" Amicitia asked.

"That depends, what is it?" Luna asked.

"Can you please not kill her? I don't want to lose the only family I have left." Amicitia said.

"...I suppose we can agree to that. But know this: Should she attack Equestria again, I won't hesitate to defend my citizens." Celestia said.

"I understand Princess." Amicitia said.
