After the devastating invasion of Equestria by human turned Emperor Jason Wright, the truth about the reasons for Jason's actions has begun to come out. Ponyville has been completely wiped off the map, its once cheery buildings reduced to rubble, and with it, the happiness and joy of everypony there once they began to realize just how they were all to blame for it.
The Elements of Harmony have barely spoken to one another since that time, all wallowing in their own grief and misery. Pinkie's lost her smile, Rainbow Dash hasn't flown since the invasion, Rarity refuses to speak about it to anypony, Applejack hardly leaves her farm, Fluttershy never visits Ponyville and is only seen wandering the edges of the Everfree Forest, mourning the loss of one of her closest friends and her animal friends as well, and Twilight has been working tirelessly to help rebuild all of Ponyville. They've hardly spoken since that day, and their friendships are all but over.
Three months have passed since the invasion, and winter is nearly upon Equestria. Suddenly, the Cutie Map, which has been silent ever since the invasion, sends out an unusual summons for the Elements of Harmony, Princess Celestia, and even Spike. They've been summoned to Griffonstone, where they discover a second human who had arrived in their world only a couple weeks after Jason’s invasion. There, their friendships will be tested and it will be determined, once and for all, whether or not a friendship lesson can really stick.
Is friendship really magic? Or will events spiral out of control again and a new war begin? Especially when Jason learns of this other human's existence.
This is an unofficial sequel to another unofficial sequel of Ending. It won't be updated as much as my other main story, but I'll try and keep it updated as often as I can.
Sex tags for potential future references to sex, and possible clop, but I doubt the latter. Then again, never say never.
Equestria Girls tag for possible references to the human world beyond Starswirl's Mirror.
