Matt nervously waited in the apples livingroom, waiting for Twilight to come and pick him up. After she asked him to the dance he had almost panicked and said no, but Tom said that he'd br happy to do it, He even had 2 suits for the both of them. Calm down, its just a dance! She probably didn't have anyone to ask... Matt reasoned as Tom, Applejack, and the cuitemark crusaders were getting ready for the dance.

All of them were dressed up for the event, Applehack wearing a great looking dress and had her done up, Tom was wearing his suite and had his hair was combed and his bread was trimmed, and the crusaders each had simple dresses on. Matt whistled at Applejack. " Looking good Applejack!" She blushed and Tom grinned, " Your lucky I have to conserve my energy for singing or I'd beat your ass. Ready for tonight Sweete Belle?" Sweete looked nervous but nodded anyway, Tom had gotten her to help him sing at the dance tonight.

The door opened and walking through the door was Twilight. Everyone gasped, she looked great, she had a dress that matched her color perfectly and she had her hair all fixed up. Tom whistled, " Damn, good for you Matt." Twilight and Matt blushed and looked around, not at each other. Tom and Applejack grinned. " Alright everypony, its time to go, Ladies first."

At the dance a hour later.....

" So how is that multi-spell going Twilight?" Matt asked her as they sat at one of the tables. they couldn't ask any personal questions, for some reason when one of them would start turning beet red and then awkward silence would follow. " Twilights eyes sparkled with pride. " I'm almost finished wit-" They both heard the speakers turn on with a loud sharp noise, Tom and the crusaders were standing on the stage with some ponies with instraments. " Even everypony, I finished by food and the girls wouldn't stop harrazing me." The whole crowd laughed." So get on the dance floor everypony!"

A mass of ponies walked on the dance floor, Matt and Twilight stated in their seats. Tom looked over to them and looked to Mac, who was working the lighting, he nodded and a light was cast on the 2 of them. " Matt, Twilight, get your asses on the dance floor or the light stays on you all night!" Tom called to them. They both blushed and all of the ponies laughed at them as they walked to the dance floor.

The music players started was the cutiemark crusaders each grabbed a mike. They all sang together.

All of the ponies were bobblin their heads and jumping up and down, Rainbow flying above them all. Tom cut in, grinning. Rainbow flew over and started singing with him.

The night went off perfectly, Tom and the crusaders singing everything from rock to pop to country. Matt was having a great time, dancing with Twilight and the other girls. The best part of the night was when Tom sang red solo cup and everyone on stage had had red plastic cups.

Tom was covered in sweat and grinning. Taking off his coat and drinking some water he jumped down from the stage and motioned to the players. " Alright everypony, get a partner! Time for some love songs, get your big ass over here green eyes, you got some dancing to do!" All of the ponies laughed and got in pairs. Twilight looked at Matt. " So... do you want to dance?" Matt nodded and she stood on her back legs and got close to him.

Tom coughed loudly and the lights turned down and the music started.

Twilight had her head on Matt's shoulder, smiling with her eyes closed, standing on 2 hooves made her as tall as he was. Matt resisted the massive urge to kiss her, not knowing if she felt the same way.

Tom spun around them with Applejack whispering in Matts ear, " Kiss her you pussy." Matt blushed and leaned toward Twilight and kissed her softly on the lips. Her eyes flew open, Matt stopped Fuck! did I mess this up? she got the biggest smile that Matt had ever seen. She wrapped her forehooves around his neck and kissed him back. They both heard whistles, stopping they looked around, everyone was looking at them.

" Get it Matt!" Rainbow yelled, whistling. Matt and Twilight, beet red, looked at each other. Matt picked her up and ran as fast as his legs could carry them, trying to get away from the embarrassment....

A quick trip to Twilights later....

Tom, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie, Dash and Fluttershy hid behind a bush close to Twilights house. Come on Matt, go all the way man!Tom thought as he and the other girls watched them. They were talking to each other, both of them blushing. Twilight then hopped up and kissed him on the cheeck and zipped back into her house. Everyone hiding in the bush groaned. " Matt, your fucking gay!" But Matt was already gone, whistling a happy tune.

All of the girls left grumbling except Applejack who walked up to Tom and grinned. " Ya lost the bet Tom, ya know what that means!" Tom groaned, it was going to be a long night.....

a few hours later.....

Matt walked up the stairs in the farm, getting ready for bed. It was the perfect night for him, he had gotten a kiss from the mare of his dreams! He looked at Toms door You know, I should thank Tom for all he did he thought as he opened Toms door... Finding Tom tied up to his bed naked, Applejack standing hungerly over. Tom saw Matt and mouthed help me. Matt slowly closed the door so Applejack wouldn't hear and walked to his room, shaking his head. " It's gonna take a while to get that out of my head." He muttered as he layed down to sleep.....
