In the Saint Louis Orphanage, there was a young boy named Leo. He was sitting all alone while watching the other children talking to each other, he sigh as he was the only child who never gets adopted. He soon gets up and walks to the orphanage playground, "I never got adopted." He said to himself while sitting on swing. He then felt his Fila-Mint ability being triggered as his hair began glowing bright blue, he sigh knowing his power-mint abilities can even sometimes get activated by how he feels. "Even with my Power-Mints, they always laugh me."

Then night soon rolled in as Leo had finished dinner and he went back to his room for bed, he was about to go to sleep when a bright light flash through the window of his bedroom. The light soon died down to reveal a strange looking diamond, Leo was confused as he picked up the strange crystal. The diamond is comepletely different than the ones found on earth, as Leo was inspecting the diamond up close it started glowing. Leo was shocked as the diamond floated out of his hand and was now hovering over him, suddenly another bright light flash occured as the diamond's light surrounded Leo.

Leo tried to move but he couldn't as his vision became fuzzy until he slipped into unconsciousness, 'What is happening to me ?' He thought as he could felt his body changing.

-In The Land of Equestria-

Princess Sunset Shimmer was busy carrying out her princess duties as the princess of emphaty, she and Princess Twilight Sparkle were doing their best to keep all of Equestria safe from evil. Sunset was busy looking over some notes when suddenly out of nowhere a bright orb of light landed right in Ponyville, "Woah, what was that ?!" She ask in shock till Twilight burst into the room. "I don't know Sunset, but we better check it out!" Twilight exclaimed as she and Sunset ran out of the room.

The two alicorns reached the area where they saw the bright light and were shocked by what they found, there on the spot where the light they saw earlier was an anthro alicorn colt with blue skin, bright green mane and tail, and his cutie-mark is a symbol of a mint plant with rainbow colour around it followed by different smaller mint symbols on the outside.

Sunset whispered to Twilight, "It's an alicorn." She whispered. "I know Sunset, but a young male alicorn." Twilight whispered back.

Suddenly, the young alicorn colt started to wake up as his eyes opened up to reveal a pair of brown eyes with black pupils. "Wh-where am I ?" He ask till he saw Sunset and Twilight.

Twilight knelt down to the young alicorn and spoke, "Hello, my name is Princess Twilight Sparkle." Then Sunset came over to her, "And this is Princess Sunset Shimmer."

The young alicorn colt looked at them for a moment until he got the courage and spoke, "My name is Leo, and I'm a human."

Both Twilight and Sunset were shocked, "Wait, you're saying that you're a human ?" Twilight ask as Leo nodded. "Leo, I'm going to scan to see if you're really a human." Sunset said as she ignited her horn and started scanning, when she finished she was shocked.

"What's wrong Sunset ?" Twilight ask as Sunset looked at her. "He really is a human Twilight, his DNA is different than us." Sunset answered as Twilight was shocked as well.

Leo then looked at the mark on his flank, "Um, what is this marking ?" He ask. Sunset looked and said, "Oh, that's your cutie-mark. It represents a ponies talent that will guide them to their destiny."

Leo looked at his cutie-mark, "My mark represents my Power-Mint abilities," He said.

"Power-Mints ?" Twilight ask. "Um, what are Power-Mints ?" Sunset ask as well.

"My Power-Mints are special abilities that can give special boosters, for example. My Fila-Mint ability can boost anyone who carries electric spells." Leo explained.

Sunset and Twilight were amazed by the detail, "And what kinds of other Power-Mint abilities you have Leo ?" Twilight ask. "Well, I have others like Enchant-Mint that can boost those who have magic spells." Leo replied.

Twilight then had an idea, "Leo, do you think you can try and boost me with your Enchant-Mint ? I just wanted to see if it's true that your Power-Mint can really boost magic spells," Twilight explained.

Then they headed off somewhere away from Ponyville, the three soon found found themselves in an open field. "Okay Leo, we're ready." Twilight said as she created a practice target with her magic. Leo nodded as he closed his eyes and focused, his horn started to glow in a pink aura while Twilight was ready to cast a spell from her horn. Leo took a deep breath as he shot a pink beam at Twilight, Twilight then fires her spell at the target.

The spell hit the target which exploded into pieces, in it's place is a tall tree filled with acorns. "Woah," Leo said with amazement. Twilight and Sunset were shocked by what they've witnessed, then they turned to Leo. "Leo, we need to go back to Ponyville to discuss more about your Power-Mints." Sunset said as Leo nodded.

The three then heads back to Ponyville, but as they got back they saw the citizens screaming and running. "What going on ?" Twilight ask.

"Bugbear attack!" One mare screamed. "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!" Another mare added.

The three turned and saw a giant Bugbear going on a rampage through the town, then five mares arrived on the scene. "GIRLS!" Twilight and Sunset called out as they raced towards their friends.

"Twilight, Sunset, thank goodness yer' here." Applejack spoke. "Now come on! Let's beat this bear right back to where he came from!" Rainbow Dash added.

Then all seven mares begin to attack the Bugbear, they fought hard as the Bugbear keeps on swatting at them. "We need a bit of backup here!" Rarity said while avoiding the Bugbear's claw as she fired her magic at it.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning hit the Bugbear.

"What in the world was that ?!" Rainbow Dash ask with shock. "Girls, look over there!" Fluttershy exclaimed as they turned and saw Leo with his horn letting off some sparks of electricity.

Then his mane started to emit electricity too as he slowly floated off the ground and his eyes were glowing bright blue as well, "TAKE THIS!" He screamed as electricity shot out of his horn and flew straight at the Bugbear.

"DUCK!" Pinkie screamed as she and the rest of her friends got clear as the bolt hit the Bugbear, the Bugbear screamed in pain by the attack till it got knocked out.

Leo then reverted back to his normal self as his mane and eyes stopped glowing as well as his horn, "Are you okay Leo ?" Sunset ask as she approach him. "Yes, I'm fine Sunset." Leo answered.

Twilight and her friends walked over to them and said, "Leo, I want you to meet our other friends. This is Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie." Leo waved to the five mares as they waved back at him. Rarity then noticed his wings, she gasps and said, "Y-you're an alicorn ?!"

The other four mares looked and saw Leo's wings as well and they were shocked, 'This is gonna be a long day.' Leo thought.
