If you haven't seen the TV Show Community, 1) It's feasible that someone who hasn't watched Community would enjoy this, but since it's told from their perspective, you might find yourself a bit lost. 2) Go watch Community. Seriously. It's great.

For those who HAVE watched it, this takes place after Season 3. So...as current as it possibly can be. Imagine it happening right now! This isn't a crossover in the strictest sense, though; the characters from Friendship Is Magic are only referenced as from the show, and this fanfic takes place entirely in the Community universe. However, without MLP it wouldn't even exist.
