Rescuing Minnie and The Twins

"Thank goodness you are here. I was the only one who managed to avoid getting pulled down by the boat. I don't know what I will do if I lose Minnie.", he said sadly.

Brandon and Link had put on their wetsuits and diving booties before dropping the ramp. Link pulled out his flashlight and started looking around for any signs of Minnie and her nieces.

"LOOK THERE!", he yelled as he saw something come to the surface of the lake for a moment.

Brandon turned on his flashlight and shined it in the direction where Link was indicating. The light beam revealed a pink bow with white dots.

"Good eyes, Link. That's Minnie's bow. Hopefully it hasn't floated away from her."

Without hesitating, they ran to the edge of the dock. They looked down and saw black ears on either side of the bow. It was Minnie. She was struggling to keep her head up and wasn't having much success. She managed to get her head above the water for a moment and spat out some water that had gotten in her mouth.

"A little help here, please?", she said frantically.

"Quick, grab my hand, Minnie.", Brandon said as he laid down on the dock and reached down to her.

Minnie reached up, but her hand slipped loose. Link laid down beside Brandon and they caught her arms before she slipped under again.

"We've got you.", Link said as he and Brandon started pulling upward.

They pulled Minnie out of the water and tried to help her stand up. Unfortunately, Minnie could not feel her feet. They were numb from the cold temperature of the water. Realizing that Minnie had hypothermia, Brandon picked her up and cradled her in his arms. As they ran back, Minnie started sneezing from being so cold. After carrying Minnie aboard the Odyssey, Link opened a small bed and Brandon set her down.

"Are you alright, Minnie?", Mickey asked frantically.

"I'm exhausted from swimming to the surface and I'm cold and can't feel my feet. Other than that, I am okay.", she replied between sneezes as Brandon wrapped her in a heated blanket and Link gave them each a hot cup of tea.

"Were your nieces following close behind?", Link asked nervously.

When Minnie heard Link's question, she began to shudder in nervousness. Brandon calmed her down and asked what was wrong.

"They're trapped down there. I had to unbuckle my life-jacket in order to swim up. Millie's right arm is tangled in the boat's towline and Melody hit her left leg on her seat. I am led to believe that she is injured because she screamed when she struck the seat."

"We will swim down and free them." Link assured as he and Brandon began putting on their diving hoods and fins.

Then Brandon turned to Mickey as he deployed floats and moved the ship onto the lake.

"In the meantime, we need you to keep an ear to the radio for any calls from our crew mates, Mickey. If someone radios in, you must answer with "This is the Odyssey, go ahead"."

"What if I need to get the message to you?", Mickey asked.

"Put this on, it will allow you to talk to us.", Brandon replied as he handed Mickey a headset and Link lowered a ladder down to the water.

He and Link put their full-face masks on and then climbed down. After checking that their comms were working, they submerged and started swimming downward. They reached the boat in a matter of minutes and Link pulled out a knife to free Millie from the towline. Brandon pulled out a small air tube with a mouthpiece and had Millie put it in her mouth to breathe. Once Link had cut the towline and freed her, Millie pointed to the boat to indicate that Melody was underneath. However, her life jacket was torn and she looked to have pain in her arm, which prevented her from swimming up. Link radioed Mickey with an update.

"Millie can’t swim up because she may have an arm injury, and Melody's trapped underneath the boat. Brandon and Link need to lift it up in order to get to her.", Mickey told Minnie.

Brandon examined Millie’s arm and determined she had a shoulder dislocation. While he applied a splint, Link placed a prop under the side of the boat and started cranking it up. Once it was high enough to squeeze under, Brandon eased through and gave a second air tube to Melody.

"Put this in your mouth. It will give you enough air to breathe until you reach the surface."

Melody nodded and put the tube in her mouth. Looking at her leg through his x-ray goggles, Brandon saw that she had a simple fracture. Link propped the boat higher so that Brandon could pull Melody out to splint her leg. As they started swimming up, Mickey heard the radio go off.

"This is the Odyssey, go ahead."

"Mickey, you need to tell Brandon and Link that we just saw the flare as we took down the last attacker. I went to investigate and the clubhouse is on fire. I repeat, THE CLUBHOUSE IS ON FIRE!", Colin said frantically.

Mickey told Brandon and Link what was happening and they started to swim faster. As they swam up, Brandon told Mickey how to drop the rescue basket. Once they had boarded the Odyssey and dried off, Link closed the hatch, Mickey helped Melody into a wheelchair, and then gave her and Millie each a blanket, and Brandon took the yoke. They took off and flew in the direction of the clubhouse.
