At the Canterlot Oprea House, Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer were enjoying a lovely concert as the violin playing was finished.

"I will be playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata Opus 27, #2."

Sound Beat sat down only for a whoopee cushion to go off, then he prepare to play a note only for a toy duck to pop out from a piano then it rolled off stage.

"Go time?"

"Go time."

Twilight and Sunset exited from their seats and put on their costumes and chased after the van that had kidnapped the pianist, just as there were to get close the driver step on the gas making the van go faster losing them.

"Talk about burning rubber," Sunset said.

Later at Rainboom Hideout...

"Well despite the glossier uptown venue. Tonight's abduction of Sound Beat and Bright Light has all earmarks of this afternoon," Sunset reading the Daily Crown web page. "Both were highly theatrical and public humiliations."

"Like those game shows from Japan," Spike wondered then Sunset and Twilight gave him confused looks. "What? I like to watch the TV when you are out of the house."

"Could the kidnappings be for money?" Twilight asked.

"There's no ransom, whoever is behind it must be personal," Sunset thought about it.

"Which means there has to be a link between them," Twilight searched for any possible matches then her computer found one. "Got it, both of them worked together 30 years ago on a game show called Think. Thank. Thunk."

"I've heard of that show," Sunset said. "The show was canceled due to a scandal."

"Well, it looks like someone is harboring a grudge," Twilight then looked at an old video of the show. "It seems that Greedle Vunder, a talented young mind lost. His mom filed a lawsuit against the producer, Bright Light was rigged."

"Bright Light was loaded with money and had friends inside of City Hall."

"So what happened?" Spike asked.

"The case was in favor of Bright Light and the case was dismissed and for Greedle, he faded into obscurity and Violet became a world chess champion. That's it!"

"What it?"

"Violet's playing in Canterlot tonight, and that means so our villain of the day."

At the Canterlot Dome, Violet was playing a chees against a chess-playing robot and Violet was winning, when Bishop Piece snatched her and went backstage, then Sunset and Twilight kicked it.

"Knight takes Bishop," Twilight said then Sunset tackled a hooded guy to rip off the hood seeing a guy.

"What the...oof!"

Both girls ambushed by swarmed by them. One of them leaped forward only for Twilight to use her magic and send him to the ground.

"Hey fella, try picking on someone your own size," Sunset said before a hood guy threw a flash grenade at them blinding them the remaining hoods took Violet into the same getaway car. "That could have gone well."

"Let's get, before the cops show," Twilight teleported herself and Sunset out of there.

...

"Greedle Vunder was a student with a bright future, but it looks like threw it all away all over obsession with a game," Sunset said. "Thank Celestia, Princess Twilight knocked some sense into me before I played out my revenge plot. "

"And now we got to deal with a quiz guy trying to re-act his childhood revenge fantasy."

"Welcome one and all to Think. Thank. Thunk I'm Quizmaster and now let's meet our players. Three of the worst liars and cheats seen on national television. Here's how it works. You will take turns asking me questions. If get it wrong you get a point. Get three points and go free. However, if I guess correctly. I score a point. Three points for me and you all get dunked in acid."

"This is the place," Sunset said as she and Twilight found the place. "Let's go."

Both dropped down and headed to the doorway and enter.

"Get ready for anything."

Several Quizmaster goons surrounded them and the of them being to fight.

"With Jason being the last one, that's all 50 Argonauts, am I right?" Quizmaster asked then one of them nodded. "That's one point for me."

"Come on, that was an easy one? Give me a harder one?"

Meanwhile, Twilight and Sunset fought their way downstairs and made it to Quizmaster's compound where he scored again.

"Two points for me, and zero points for you. You better score or it's acid town."

"In the subject of math, what is the number of pi?" Violet asked.

"Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. But that number cannot be expressed as a finite decimal. But in the spirit of gamesmanship, I will reduce it to 100 decimal places."

"But you won't have a chance to do it," Sunset said then look at Sunset and Twilight.

"Ah! Pheonix and Cyber Witch. Your timely arrival proves that there's at least, that is some intellect in Canterlot worthy of Quizmaster."

"Give it up, Greedle.'

"Greedle Vunder never surrenders, but in terms of fairness, I give you, Cyber Witch one chance to spare their cheating lives. A bound round!"

"Sorry, buddy, we're not in the mood for games," Sunset came in.

"But she will play or they get acid-washed."

"Is this all you have to show for your life, Greedle? Bitterness and revenge. You could have done something with your talents."

"Bonus round! Stop Quizmaster and they go free."

Twilight are you sure you want to do this?

Don't worry Sunset, I got just the question to ask him.

"Ok, Quizmaster, I'll play along. So, what can I ask you about?"

"Anything."

"No topic is off limits?"

"Any topic as you please, get on with it!"

"Okay. Name the identity of the Rainbooms."

"Trick question! Ask another question!"

"You said I could ask anything."

"No fair!" Quizmaster complained then proceeded to drop the constants in the acid until Twilight her Sparkle Stars to jammed it.

"Cheater! I'll show you the true identity of the Rainbooms!"

Sunset quickly fired a magic blast at his feet making him fall down.

Shortly after Quizmaster was taken to Blackgate...

"Not bad, Sparkle, beating Quizmaster at his own game, so what do you want to do next?" Sunset asked.

"Up for a game of chess?" Twilight suggested.

"You're on," then two of them started to play chess.
