It was a cold and freezing day in Canterlot as a snowstorm came by, but a robbery was usually in progress courtesy of Blowtorch.

"Come down with your hands up!" an officer said as the Canterlot PD arrived.

"You shouldn't play with Blowtorch," He said as he flew right at them blasting a laser and slicing the car and causing them to crash.

"Are those guys okay?" Another one asked.

"Yeah, they're alright."

"In this town, I'm the heat."

"No I'm the heat," Pheonix proudly said as she wore her winter gear.

"Burn!" Blowtorch fired a laser at her but she dodged it and was on top of him.

Blowtorch tried to shake her off but Pheonix hanged on.

"So how'd you plan to get me down?"

"You're going to run out of fuel soon."

Then he saw a truck with a gas tank.

"Well let's fill her up, then!"

Blowtorch blasted the tank and then drop Pheonix as the tank exploded.

"Take that!" Blowtorch smiled then he flew away.

Moments later Pheonix came out of the fallen debris a little shaken up but not before the police caught up and surrounded her.

"Forget, Blowtorch, we just scored chief's public enemy number one," An officer looked at Pheonix then most of them aimed their guns.

"I'm really not feeling the love here, boys," Pheonix said as she did a flame blast on the car that cause an explosion blinding them and allowing her to fly away.

At the lab that Blowtorch broke into, Spitfire and the recon team were checking for clues, not knowing to any of them, that Spitfire receive called Pheonix on the Rainboom Wave.

"Detective Spitfire."

"You and Blowtorch had quite the winter cookout," Spitfire said seeing the explosion.

"It was a blast, do you know what he took from the lab?"

"Working on it."

"Blowtorch has always worked for hire, if we knew what he took maybe we'd know who he took it for."

"Honey, I'm home," Blowtorch said as arrived at Glacier's lair. "Got you something."

He showed a snow globe to him.

"Is this a joke?" Glacier asked.

"Saw it in a window, but also got you the other thing," He gave him a computer chip.

"Nice, but what kept you did the ice slow you down."

"No, Pheonix, but I clip her wings."

"Are you she was done for?"

"Not sure, I bailed before the cops had a chance to catch up."

"Nothing must stand in my way when I..." Blowtorch glared at him. "When we extend Canterlot's harsh winter into the permafrost. The city will be ours to shake up or shake down anytime we want. "

At Rarity's house

"Despite the cold," Rarity said as she made the final touches on her dress. "The Canterlot Police Gala has become the hot ticket. Though, Sunset, I rather find it odd that Trevor and Tyler are hosting the event given our stand with the knights in blue."

"It's the least they could do for Canterlot's finest, but one day they will have their approval," Sunset chuckled a bit then received an alarm on her phone.

"What is it?"

"The Rainboom Wave, There's a break-in at Sanders Labs?"

"Who would be crazy to pull a break-in in this type of weather?"

"Only one person who can't feel the cold and nearly iced me."

Meanwhile, Glacier froze the wall and was in the coldest part of the lab.

"Liquid nitrogen. Don't touch," He read the sign that was holding it and grab a case of it. "Ahh..."

Then a small diamond was struck at his fingertips.

"I was expecting someone with a little more flair," Ice Breaker said as she and Pheonix came into the scene.

"Such a cold reception, Ice Breaker."

Glacier did a cryoblast at them making ran to opposite sides then Ice Breaker threw a flash grenade in his eyes blinding him then the two of them did a kick on both sides then the frosty villain came around and trap pounds of ice.

"How shall ice you this time? Allow me to pick frozen brains," he arms his burning tip and walked towards them.

As he continues to walk toward them, Pheonix launched a small fire orb at the tank of Liquid nitrogen that exploded and froze Glacier then he broke free, Then Rarity grab his burnt and use it on the ground to split up the floor and made him fall down.

"Drat, he got away."

"Don't worry about it, no doubt we see him again along with Blowtorch as I figured out that working together."

With Blowtorch and Glacier

"The vents are rerouted, G-man," Blowtorch welled the vents and moved them.

"The heat that flows through these vents warms every blinding in Canterlot. With my cryo-accelerator we can do something about that," Glacier implied.

At the police station, the party was in full swing.

"Those girls think that some kind of savior but they're more harm than good Tyler," Chief Andrews said to Tyler. "I mean both Ice Breaker and Pheonix along Glacier trashed the lab!"

"Both of them were lucky I wasn't there, I would've opened a can of hurt on them and delivered straight to you," Tyler replied.

"You're my kinda guy, Sanders. Anyway getting more Cocco, catch you later."

As the chief left, Rarity came up to him.

"You don't mean that, do you?"

"Of course not, considering the fact I get freezer-burn from the two of you, so what did Glacier grab?"

"All he grab was a case of liquid nitrogen and he has formed a partnership with Blowtorch."

"You know what they say, opposites attract."

...

"The Freeze-o-Matic 9000's ready to blow."

"As the cryo-accelerator amplifies my powers ten-fold. every citizen in Canterlot will have nowhere to run, as block by block, they are frozen out of their homes,' Glacier explained. "And what better block to beta-test than where the entire police force fortuitously assembles tonight."

"I can hear them now. How did these ice cubes get in my pants?"

"Let us begin."

Blowtorch inserts the liquid nitrogen into the device causing it to warm up.

"Fire up."

Glacier put his hands on the controls and send an intense blast of ice into the vents that lead straight to Canterlot P.D.

...

"Is it just me or did someone turn down the thermostat?" Rarity asked as the place feel a little cold.

"Maybe the radiator is on the fritz," Sunset suggested then all of the vents poured streams of ice and freezing everybody including Rarity and Sunset.

As they remain frozen, Sunset's geode started to glow and the ice started to melt.

"That was a close one," Sunset was relieved. "Now on for more important things."

Sunset did a fire blast that broke Rarity out of there.

"Thank you, but now I have an understanding of what it means to be frozen," Rarity replied. "Shall we?"

"Yep," Both headed out of the department and became their alter-egos, Pheonix and Ice Breaker once then headed out, Phoenix threw a fireball at a pillar of ice that exploded showing a trail to their boiler room.

"Where there's frost, there's fire," they walked to the villains' location.

...

"Second stop on the freeze-burn tour, City Hall," Blowtorch changed the vents to the direction of City Hall as he did, he caught in Ice Breaker's Crystal Ribbon.

"Ice Breaker and Pheonix!" Glacier exclaimed.

"Don't sweat it, I got them!"

Blowtorch fired his laser at them, forcing Ice Breaker to retract it and dodge it, then Ice Breaker the terminal to the room.

"Go, I cover you!" Pheonix said as she engaged with him and then made him fire right at the generator to the accelerator then joined Ice Breaker.

"Idiot, you damaged it!"

"We fix it. Chill!"

"You chill!" As Glacier fired at Blowtorch and froze him solid then fired at Ice Breaker and Phoenix which they dodged.

"Both of your demises may even warm my cold heart."

As Glacier prepares to freeze them, Blowtorch frees himself and blasted him.

"That was cold, Jack!"

Blowtorch grabbed him and hurled Glacier into a vent and the two blasted at each other.

"Well, that didn't take long," Ice Breaker exclaimed as they ran back to the terminal. "Now let's bring the heat."

Ice Breaker pulls the burning tip forcing the ice to shatter she pulled on the lever to warm up the boiler and the ice around started to break.

"They have started the boiler!" Glacier exclaimed.

"Yeah, well some of us like it hot!" Blowtorch shot back then Glacier threw him and froze his fuel tank! "My fuel tank!"

Glacier came out only to be caught by Ice Breaker's rope then he froze it, knocking her back and right into Pheonix.

"Bye-bye, Ladies."

"I wouldn't be so sure."

Vent came out and release hot air that Glacier passed out by it.

"Feed a cold," Pheonix started.

"Starve a fever." Ice Breaker finished.

...

At the police station

"Hey, guys! Check this out!" One of the officers grabs everyone's attention and heads outside they see both Glacier and Blowtroch in a crystal cage.

"Glacier and Blowtorch did this?" Andrews asked.

"Well these two won't be giving us any trouble," Spitfire said. "Nice work, boys."

"It wasn't us," The officer shook his head. "It was them."

He pointed up and saw Pheonix and Ice Breaker landed on the building, then the people started to clap for them.

"I told you, that the people would adore us," Ice Breaker said as she smile back at them and then left.
