Sinking in

It was not long before a deafining scream was heard from outside the bakery.
Carrot Top rushed in disrupting the party in a hysterical state.
"Some pony is dead outside!"
She exclaimed with tears building in her eyes.
Ponies gasped and ran out to the sight of a blood covered corpse.
Scootaloo threw up on the ground after seeing the body.
Many ponies looked away shocked and some just cried at the site.Fire Log and Sunset Breeze came out
and as soon as they saw the body the both broke down in tears.
Their life long friend lay dead infront of them, all the memories and experiences they shared shot through
their minds.
This resulted in more grief from Sunset Breeze and Fire Log.

Whilst this happened, Derpy had slipped away and began her flight back to her house.
She entered, shut the door and ran into her bedroom.
She got into the bed covers and lay there, she thought of what she had done, how terrible it was,
how she might be punished but then a thought rolled into her head.
Snow Dancer was dead. One of her tormentors was gone.
Derpy felt a moment of tranquility, as if she was in a safe haven but that moment was interuppted by
a knock at the door.
She got out of the bed and opened her door expecting the worst.
It was her neighbour, Vanilla Whisk.
She was a blue pegasus with a white flowing mane, she was very timid and Derpy liked her,
Mostly because she never really bothered her.
"Umm..Miss.Hooves, some of your mail has been dropped off on my roof.Do you know anything about this?"
Vanilla Whisk was a shy pony so she said this in soft timid tone.
Derpy nodded and aplogised, she walked outside and then flew up to retrieve the mail sitting on her
neighbours house.
She knew that once again this was a silly prank pulled of by one of the pegasus.
Derpy returned to her house quietly and ignored Vanilla whisk as she looked through the mail
that had been left on the roof.
"One of them must have thought it was funny this morning, guess it aint so funny now."
She mumbled to herself.

Derpy sat down and looked through her mail.
Bills, it was nothing but bills. She sighed and placed the envolope in the trash can.
She was about to return to her room before she noticed something on the back of the envolope.
It was Fire Log's signature.Every pegasus has their own signature on their deliverys.
Derpy picked it up and examined it before placing it back in the trash.
