It was a calm night in the city, As Phoenix went to the Shadow Hole a place where gamblers, con artists, and swindlers like to hang.

"Now I know what your thinking, shouldn't I have better things to do than hang around here, but instead I have a little investigation going on. Even though others and I busted Spellcaster, all the tech he stole was missing. And every lowlife, douche, and jerk I meet said 'that Milton McMann is the guy to talk. So talk."

"Who are you kidding? What will the hero do if shut up?" Milton asked calling her bluff.

"Hey, Mil, can you give 2-1 odd-- Uh, Phoenix?" A man came in and saw her then quickly left. "Bye."

Then she smirks at Milton upon the man's departure.

"Alright, there's been a rumor that Spellcaster running for some big boss, the guy's hiring from cons to crooks, even construction works but everyone has sworn a secrecy, that's all the knowledge I got for," Milton explained as man sneaks out which Pheonix took notice.

"Thanks, I owe you one," Pheonix left out and caught with him. "Hey, buddy, I'm Pheonix and your name is?"

"Uh, Screw Losse," he said.

"Ok, Screw Loose, I know you overheard my conversation with Milton, so do you have any information?"

"The name for Spellcaster's boss?"

"I can work with it."

"They called him Grogar, but that's all I know."

What both didn't realize was that a drone was above and given a live video feed to a base that Sombra had listened to call his boss.

Yes Sombra?

"The Rainbooms are closing in, they know who's paid Spellcaster to steal the tech."

Send Cozy Glow to keep the Rainbooms busy, and round up the usual suspects.

One of the workers gave Sombra flies on Glacier, Nightmare Mechanic, Golden Touch, Dark Wolf, Spellcaster, and Beatdown.

And let them know, that it is time.

"I have a lot of duty of being Mayor of Canterlot, but none are tastier than judging our Annual Chili-Cook-Off," Jestro exclaimed as Cook-Off is today as the mayor tasted a sample and felt the burn. "Ohh, that is hot."

"You that's hot what until what I got!"

"Oh, crap!" Jestro said then Cozy Glow and her goons appeared.

"It's Cozy Glow! Run!"

The people left at the sight of her knowing her unbridled rage.

"What's the game this time?"

"So the whole I want to kill you and take over Canterlot was not clear, well duh! And besides, you should know better than chili always gives you gas."

She armed her Mayhem Blaster and aimed at the mayor.

"It's time for the big bang!"

Before Cozy had a chance to fire, a rainbow-like blur saved the mayor as she fired.

"What the- where did he go, of that son of-!" She exclaimed before getting kicked in the ribs.

"Children can't be saying that sort of vulgar language," Ice Breaker and Rainbooms showed up.

"Damn it, you always have ruined a good plan. Boys."

The goons surrounded them and prepared to fight them. Then Cozy saw the mayor making a run for it.

"And where to do you think you're going?" Cozy cornered him.

"Stop me if heard this one," Ground Breaker asked as she punches her. "Should've stopped me."

"Are you okay, Mr. Mayor?" Harmonic asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Jestro replied.

"I'll get him out here, hold on!" Rocket Blade took him out there with blazing speed.

"Just look at them," Cozy said while The Rainbooms fight off her support. "The teamwork, the footing, I want my own mini-me!"

Cozy got her limo and took off.

"Eat, my dust losers."

...

At Cozy's Lair...

"It must be nice to have someone to watch you back. To mold in your own likeness," Then in a scream of anger she blasted a photo of them. "Well you had a sidekick in the Crusaders I should get one too."

Then her goons look at her.

"Not, you dumbasses. And where's the hell is my tea!?"

One of them got her tea.

"That's better... I just know out somewhere is out there waiting to be my number two."

The next morning at Canterlot High.

"And the factor equation two times x mins eight times five," Sweetie Belle gave an answer in math class.

"Excellent," the teacher said as spitball was on her head.

"Ha-ha, very funny," She glared at Clyde and then walk to her seat.

"Now then, class, who would like to solve for x?"

Clyde secretly put a whoopie cushion on the seat and went off.

"Mr. Hardly, you should know the rules that pranking is forbidden upon school grounds, one week of detention."

"It was just a joke," Clyde said.

"Gee, Cylde, I thought you had to be funny to be the class clown," Apple Bloom said then everyone laughed.

"You people don't funny. I'll just go somewhere they do."

Later that night.

"And then the math nerd says 'X=PU!" Clyde said then heard a clap. "Thank you, I'll be here all week."

"Kiddo, you have some real potential, and I know funny," Cozy Glow walked on stage. "I know what think, I'm the bad guy here but make people laugh just like you. Let me guess, nobody gets the jokes, either."

"I get dentition every time I do it."

"You get dentition, and I get set Blackgate, just brighten up the sad sack of the world. Granted, I did join Dusk Claw... Cylde is it? How do you like to learn from the best? Be my, uh understudy?"

"I not sure..."

"Chew on it," Cozy gave her card. "I'll see you around."

The Next Day, as Clyde got out of Dentition, Cozy pulled him into a dark alleyway.

"Hush, my friend, this is going to be fun," Cozy grinned as one of her goons was disguised as a lawn mower then place a hook on the teacher's pants. Once she pulled the lever the teacher was pulled onto a flag pole.

"Someone let me down! Let me down!" He shouted as Sweetie, Apple Bloom, and Sctooaloo saw him.

Meanwhile...

"That was classic!"

"See, how much fun we could have? join my team. It'll be a hoot."

Later that night, Tornado standing near a building then Rocket Blade joined. her.

"Figured I'll here brooding," Rocket Blade said.

"The girls and I have been a lookout for Cozy ever since her attack on the mayor, with her in just a matter of moments, before something bad goes down."

"Uh, Scoots, we got a problem at the police station."

"What kind of problem?"

See for yourself, Dash.

Tornado and Rocket Blade arrived where Hurricane, Ground Breaker, and Ice Breaker.

"Mind telling what on earth is going," Tornado said then looking at what appeared to be a giant gumball machine and Cozy Glow was driving it. "Is she that crazy?"

"Yep," Ground Breaker as she smashes them.

"Looks like your joke fell flat," Rocket Blade smirked.

"Well stand by for another," She exclaimed as her limo came by.

"Knock, knock."

"Who's there?'

"Giggle?"

"Giggle who?"

"Giggle, your new partner in crime."

"Cozy Glow has a sidekick?" Hurricane asked.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, it turns to shine."

"Stick around, ladies."

He fired gumball at them which they dodged.

"Chew on this!"

He fired right at Rocket Blade which she dodged then came right at him with a kick.

"Show me what you got clown boy."

Giggle fired a spitball at her.

"Gross, wait a minute..." Then Cozy Glow kicks her.

"The best punchline is the one you don't see coming. Hey Tornado, my sidekick is about to make yours go splat!"

"Wait I don't get it!"

"What's not to get, we laugh, they cry sounds simple to me."

"I wanted to make people laugh not hurt them."

Then Cozy Glow grabbed him.

"Sounds like we need a quick breather. BRB!"

Both got in the limo and took off.

"You okay, kid?" Hurricane asked as she freed Rocket Blade.

"Yeah, but we need to help, Clyde," Rocket Blade exclaimed.

"Clyde?" Tornado asked.

"Giggle no criminal, he's a classmate, long story."

"Hopefully with a happy ending, we find where they're going?"

"Slapped a tracer on him. This should lead straight to them."

Then at Cozy's Lair.

"We have a lot of work to do if want to graduate from class clown to crime clown," Cozy said.

"That's thing maybe I'm not cut out for it," Giggle replied.

"And it's my fault that costume doesn't cut it. To live the part you must be the part."

"What does that mean?"

"I'll show you." As she took him to the lower part of her hideout.

"Where are we going?"

"To the place where only those with all-access get to see. The boiler room. One dip in this stuff you become crazy as me."

"It was this very place that got me where I am today and now it's your turn," She pushes him off the platform only to find him dangling.

"Why so nervous? It's not that bad."

"Let the kid go, Cozy," Ground Breaker exclaimed as the others arrived.

"I'm trying to! Grab your ducky, it's bath time!"

Just Cozy was about to stop his foot, Tornado grabbed her and tossed her aside.

"Here, I got you," As she help him up.

Cozy armed her Mayhem Blaster and fire a laser only for Ice Breaker to deflect it with her shield and then Hurricane to knock her out.

Much time later as Cozy Glow was being handled by the police.

"Hey, kid if want to try being at a comedy we know a person," Tornado handed him, Pinkie's business card on How to be funny 101 then left.

On Grogar's base, Glacier, Nightmare Mechanic, Spellcaster, and Golden Touch were already there.

"Most of you have met," Sombra arrived with Dark Wolf and Beatdown. "Dark Wolf, Beatdown this Glacier, Nightmare Mechanic, Spellcaster and Golden Touch."

Then Glacier gave a glare to Dark Wolf.

"Is there a problem?" Dark Wolf asked.

"Let's just say I bad experience with dogs," He said.

"Allow me to introduce, you to our host, Grogar," Sombra came in.

Sombra informed me that Cozy was apprehended by the police and some applicants declined my invitation, how disappointing. I was hoping to inaugurate the Dark Empire but the assortment we have here will do nicely.

"What a minute what about him?" Nightmare Mechanic asked about Sombra."

"Only tech support, trust me he can't do much in a fight," Spellcaster said.

"And how will that work?" Golden Touch asked.

To help bring forth the age of the supercriminal this is your time, my friends once dispose of a certain group of pests. No one can stop you.

"How do we do that exactly?" Dark Wolf asked.

Just follows my orders and everything will go smooth.

On the streets.

"Whoah, take it, easy hero," Melvin backed up from Phoenix.

"I know, that you supply Spellcaster for his magic act. And I know that you two are in cahoots with Grogar. Who is he? And what's he doing with the tech he stole?"

"How should I know?"

"Don't play dumb with me, one touch of your head I see everything that you did, so I look into your head or tell me everything you know."

"Fine, if Grogar wanted Spellcaster to steal all the tech, he probably has some master plan going on."

Then Pheonix release him then left his place.

Hours later upon a building, Sunset took her mask and the sky.

"I don't know what you planning, Grogar, but I can promise you this," Sunset declared. "No one is going to set up shop when I'm around."
