"Whoa, nelly!" "Wheee!" "My goodness!" Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie exclaimed as all of them were floating.

"What in Equestria is going on?!" Rarity shireked.

"Eggman must be able to control gravity in this space!" Tails exclaimed.

"Never like gravity much anyway!" Sonic as he grabbed Amy and Rarity and Tails grabbed Sunset, Pinkie, and Applejack, and Twilight, Fluttershy and Rainbow flew.

"Okay falling into the void has been put on hold. Now what?"

"I don't know! I'm not picking any signals!"

"And it looks like things are gonna flip back anytime soon. There's one thing we can do, go down!"

The group headed further down in the space.

"Stay cool. Any second now..."

The group comes across a tesseract area in their path.

"HA! What'd I tell you? One deadly showdown coming up," All of them headed toward the cube and were on the ground. "Alright, Eggman, we're here! Come out and let's get this done!"

The cube disappears to reveal a room full of more gates.

"Stay close guys," Sonic said as they entered and across a remodel of the Egg-Viper.

The Egg-Viper attack them with an electric attack, which they dodge.

"That one is not very cute," Pinkie said.

"A high voltage charge like that is really dangerous..." Tails deuced.

"Dash and I dealt with this bot before," Sonic said as he started to stretch.

"Hell yeah! A fresh coat of paint and some bells and whistles won't stop all of us!" Rainbow declared.

"Yeah!" Pinkie cheered.

Eggman made the Egg Viper launch a platform at them.

"I've got this!" Applejack said before bucking right back at the mech.

"Nicely done, let's follow it up!"

Sonic bounces up its tail to land a hit on it. However, before he can actually do it, he is electrocuted then Tails grabbed him.

"Are you okay?"

"*Wince* Yeah I'm fine can you get me a clear shot of the cockpit!"

"I'll try!"

Tails aimed Sonic at the cockpit the threw him then Twilight and Sunset energized Sonic's Spin Dash destroying the mech.

"Like I said you're not a match for us, might as well throw in the towel," Sonic boasted.

But we've just begun! Let's see how you handle round two!

Eggman caused the Egg Viper to explode and sent Sonic back then the others ran to him.

"What did he mean by that?" Fluttershy asked.

"Don't know, but I were to guess, that was just the appetizer... and here comes the main course."

The gates around the group activate, allowing three new versions of the Egg Viper to come out.

Didn't expect this, rodent! The Green Viper that had Cozy Glow's voice exclaimed.

I promise not to crush you quickly, I'm going to enjoy myself! The Red Viper that had Shadowforce's voice grinned. Time to heat things up!

The red Egg Viper launches itself at them engulfed in flames.

"You jerk... your puns are not even that good!" Both Amy and Pinkie knocked it back.

Then the Blue Egg-Viper blasted water at them the Green Egg-Viper send them flying.

That one point for us and now for the tiebreaker!
