Smith didn’t look up from her rolling pin. ‘That’s nice.’
‘We could get married. You know, legally. Make things official.’
Smith dusted down the dough. ‘Interesting.’
‘Yep.’ Twilight narrowed her eyes. ‘And the year after that’s when the aliens come.’
‘Is that a fact.’
‘Are you listening to a single thing I’m saying right now?’
Smith looked up from the table, dusted her hooves on her apron. ‘Gay marriage, aliens.’
‘Uh huh. And any thoughts on that...?’
Smith grinned. ‘Depends if you’re proposing.’
