Smith swallowed, looked down at her hooves. ‘Yes, you should. Now tell me what you really mean.’
‘I know the future,’ said Twilight. ‘I didn’t hear about any of this.’
Smith pursed her lips. ‘And that surprises you.’
‘Well...no. But...’ She took a breath, gathered her thoughts. ‘You have foals. Grandfoals. I’m friends with one of them! And none of this is...’
‘Not seein grandfoals in our future, Twilight?’
She gave a Look. Deflated. ‘I just...I don’t want to mess up the future.’
Smith turned away. ‘So leave.’
