Deep within a forest lay a sleeping Salamance and Team Rocket members Jessie, Adagio, and their Pokémon were slowly approaching it with the others just outside.

"Dear little Salamence, first we're going to catch you, then attack the Twerps and steal Pikachu," Jessie said. "So don't worry. Fear, no fear. Everything is gonna go smooth."

Adagio accidentally kicked a pebble onto Salamence's head, and it woke up startlingly both of them.

"Uh wait, the idea of catching you never crossed my mind, wait did I say that out loud?" Adagio asked.

"Guys, pretend that you fell asleep!" James exclaimed.

Jessie, Adagio, Pumpkaboo, and Staraptor all fell to the ground, pretending to be asleep, making the dragon type confused, and then sniffed them.

"Alright, somebody does something and do it now," Adagio whispered.

"Any ideas?" James asked.

"I got one! Jessie place the Happyface Sticker on it," Sonata said.

"Have a nice day," Jessie said as she placed the sticker, and it activated.

"Alright," Adagio said.

Then Salamence roared fiercely, then the Happyface turned red.

"Uh, what's going on?" Duke asked.

"The Happyface is on the fritz!" James exclaimed.

"Not only that I think it's broken," Aria added then Jessie and the others tried to run away just Salamence unleashed a Hyper Beam that Jessie and the others ducked out of the way but Starator, Pumpkaboo, Meowth, and Misdreavus went flying out of there then the Salamence took off.

"Meowth."

"Pumpkaboo."

"Staraptor."

"Misdreavus."

Continuing their journey to Courmarine City

Our heroes had stopped for a little rest at the nearby Pokémon Center.

"Hello there," Ash said as the group entered, then Wigglytuff that carrying a box of Pokéballs tripped itself to the ground.

"Oh my goodness, are you okay?" Fluttershy asked as she helped the Pokémon up, and the others gathered the Pokéballs.

"Wigglytuff."

Wigglytuff tried to help but slipped on a Pokéball and fell again.

"Not again," Jaden said.

"Are you alright?" Bonnie asked, then Nurse Joy and Nurse Redheart came in.

"Wigglytuff, you took another nasty fall," Nurse Joy said.

"Wiggly."

"I wish you were more careful," Nurse Redheart said as they helped Wigglytuff up. "See, Wigglytuff just started here."

"So it's for her?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Wiggly."

"Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it," Nurse Joy said, then they an ambulance siren.

They saw an ambulance with an emergency team with some Pokémon.

"What happened?" They asked.

"A Lionne and a Bidoof," Twilight said, seeing both of the injured.

"Is there any way we can help?" Applejack asked.

Moments later, Applejack, Serena, Bonnie, and Pinkie helped Wigglytuff, taking the injured Lionne inside.

"If it's not a problem we can lend a hand," Rainbow offered as Ash carried Bidoof inside then another ambulance arrived this one where a disguised Team Rocket carted off Pumpkaboo, Meowth, Staraptor, and Misdreavus.

"What is their condition?" Nurse Joy asked.

"Badly injured," Jessie said.

"They need help stat," Sonata added.

"I understand, you guys take the others," Nurse Joy said as she carted off Pumpkaboo.

Then Clemont carted Meowth, Sunset, Jaden and Twilight carted Staraptor and Rainbow carted off Misdreavus.

"If the science twerp is here," Jessie started.

"Then Pikachu is here as well," Aria said as all of them grinned. "I love it when things work out.

"Don't worry everything's going to be fine," Clemont said.

Then Wigglytuff adjacently bumped the cart and sent Meowth flying to the wall.

"What happened?" Clemont asked as Duke and Clyde walked and saw Meowth on the ground and they both ran to him.

"Hang in there pal," Duke said.

"What the heck are you doing? These precious patients!" Clyde said.

Then Rarity and Zane brought in a Teddiursa.

"This one needs treatment fast," Zane said.

Hours later.

"Everyone, your Pokémon are ready to go now," Nurse Redheart said.

"Pardon me for asking, but how did Teddiursa get injured?" Hilda asked Breeder Molly.

"I don't know, it's a mystery. Teddiursa was playing around in the yard when a Salamence came.out now where and attack and it was out of control."

"Whoa, Salamance," Ash commented.

"Pika Pika."

"So it acted out of control for no reason?" Serena asked.

"Something must've happened, can you tell us more about Salamance's appearance? Was there anything unusual?" Nurse Joy asked.

"Well let's see, it did to be in some kind of pain." Farmer Molly asked.

"Don't worry you can count on us," Nurse Redheart assured.

Much later as the moon was bright and beautiful, Wigglytuff was gazing upon it, reflecting on her constant clumsiness was a problem for everyone. Then Pikachu and Espeon joined her talking to each other unaware that Team Rocket was eavesdropping.

"Our big chance to catch Pikachu and Espeon is here," Duke said.

"And the Wiggytuff will be a good bonus," Jessie said.

"Payback time for that knock on my noggin," Meowth exclaimed then they all nodded at each other.

"Pikachu."

"Espeon."

"Wigglytuff."

Both Twilight and Ash yelled as they walked on the hill.

"There you guys are, both nurses are looking for you," Twilight said. "She really cares a lot about you. Why don't you go back?"

Both Pikachu and Espeon climbed onto the trainer's shoulder.

"Anyway, we're going to be back, catch you later," Ash said as they headed back to Pokémon Center.

Back at the Pokémon center, the group was chilling in the lobby as Bonnie was looking through books.

"So they still can't find Salamance?" Ash asked.

"No such luck," Sunset said to him. "Officer Jenny helping out, but so far nothing."

"You know Wigglytuff convinced it can't do its job. It takes time for everyone to get used to a new job," Serena said.

"Yeah," Ash agreed with her.

"But Wiggytuff has been taking its mistakes personally."

"Pika."

"Wow look at this," Bonnie picked up a book with a Wigglytuff cover and then showed it to everyone. "Look everyone, it's about Wigglytuff."

Bonnie opened the book showing Wiggytuff fighting a Flygon.

"Wigglytuff is so awesome."

"You know, Bonnie, that book was based actually what happened when my mother was a trainer who witness it," Zane said to her.

"No way!"

"Yes, it went on like this," Zane prepared to tell his story.

"Long ago, there was a massive outbreak rampaging Flygons then a lonely Wigglytuff came and single-handled pacify their anger. Then heal every Pokémon in the village."

The next day everyone was outside as Clemont built another Invention.

"Behold, this is Mechaized Movatier, my device will help be motivated to get up and go," Clemont explained. "Please allowed me to demonstrate. Bonnie, would you be my assistant?"

"Sure okay," Bonnie agreed then Clemont put the device on her head.

"When you put it on it automatically engages," Clemont explained then the device pulled out confetti then it produce the voice of Clemont. "It uses a miniature cheer that I built in, it revolves around their confidence to move on."

Then every one gave him straight faces.

"What you don't like it?"

"That's enough, Clemont," Bonnie gave it back to him.

"Well, I think it's pretty cool," Ash said.

"Pika."

"Wiggytuff," Wigglytuff stepped wanting to try it on.

"Sure, you're up next."

Clemont put his invention on Wigglytuff's head. then started to produce smoke.

"Clemont makes it stopped," Serena told him.

"Quickly you got to press the off button," Clemont exclaimed.

Wigglytuff fell to the ground then Pikachu close the lid then it exploded on them destroying it.

"Look like get up and got up and went," Bonnie said as Clemont groaned then another ambulance showed up then showed a disguised Clyde and Adagio.

"We happened to be in the area," Adagio said.

"We heard an explosion, so here we are," Clyde added.

"Please give us the injured right away."

"It was a loud explosion but I assure you no one was hurt," Hilda said.

"We're the pros we'll decide who's hurt. Just leave it to us," Clyde said as they put Pikachu, and Wigglytuff on the cart and took off.

"Hey what are you going with them?" Ash asked as they grinned and drop their disguises.

"Prepare for trouble, you'll what will do,"

"And make it double Pokémon cooed,"

"To protect the world from devastation,"

"To untie all people within our nation,"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love,"

"To extend to the stars above,"

"Clyde,"

"Adagio,"

"Jessie,"

"James,"

"Aria,"

"Sonata,"

" and Duke,"

"Team Rocket blasts on the scene at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare for a five-alarm fight!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

"Murkrow!"

"Team Rocket!" Twilight shouted.

"Many thanks for healing up Meowth and Pumpkaboo," Jessie said.

"And to express our evil gratitude, we'll now grab Pikachu," James added.

"No chance in that, Pikachu, Thunderbolt!" Ash shouted.

Pikachu did Thunderbolt but it was absorbed.

"It's kind of funny that you keep forgetting that we are prepared for Electric types," Duke said.

"So we bid you au revoir," Adagio said as they got inside and took off.

"Pikachu!"

"Wigglytuff!"

"The Pokémon Center has an ambulance, let's follow them," Nurse Redhert said.

"We did it! We did it!" Jess cheered. "Pikachu's is ours!"

"The Boss we love us for guts and glory," Meowth added then stopped the truck due to a Pokémon blocking the path

"Do you mind?!" Aria snapped at the Pokémon who turned and found out it was Salamance.

"Is that the same one that we tried to use?" Jessie asked.

"The one we used the Happiness Hyponis Machine on?" Duke asked.

"We know what that means," Sonata gulped as Salamance roared.

"Time to burn rubber!"

"Right, going in reverse!"

Meowth put in reserve making their van go backward then Salamance chased after them then fired multiple Hype Beams the van swerved at everyone but got hit by the third one which opened the back door which allows Pikachu, Espeon, Wigglytuff to land safely and started to run just as Ash and the others showed in their van.

"You guys are okay," Twilight was relieved then look at Salamance.

"It's the Salamance that attack Teddiursa," Zane said as Team Rocket popped their heads out of the truck.

"You got us to help us, we're scared out of our wits and all we did was give it a happy face," Sonata pleaded.

"What's that mean?" Jaden asked/

"We tried to catch it but failed," Sonata explained.

"Our Happyface Hyponis Machine is a dud!" Duke exclaimed.

"Hypnosis Machine? That must be the thing that's stuck on its forehead," Clemont realized as Salamance freaked out.

"It's going crazy!" Jessie shrieked.

"What a horrible thing to do," Fluttershy said.

"We need to do something, but what?" Applejack asked as Salamance fired a Hyper Beam at them forcing them to dodge.

"How we can help it when it's trying to blast us!" Rainbow exclaimed just as Salamance fired a Flamethrower at them but Wigglytuff came forward and use Protect to bypass the Flamethrower. "Everyone we need to back up!"

Everyone backed up as Salamance used Dragon Pulse on Wigglytuff but Wigglytuff braced it and it was fine as she was walking through it.

"Wow, it's just like in the book!" Bonnie asked.

"The Dragon Pulse is not working, how?" Applejack asked.

"Wigglytuff is a Fariy Type and Dragon Type moves have no effect on them," Clemont explained.

"That's how the Wigglytuff in the book defeated all the Flygon," Rainbow realized.

Then Wiggytuff used Heal Pulse on Salamance forcing it to stop as Wigglytuff console it, Pinkie ran over to them and took the Happyface off of it.

"There you, all better," Pinkie as Salamance roared in happiness.

"Yeah, thanks to Wigglytuff," Sunset said.

"Wigglytuff you were awesome," Bonnie cheered.

"Talk about a close shave," Cylde said.

"I thought we were done for," Duke exclaimed then Salamace glared making him ditch the truck and to started to run away but it was too late as Salamance fired Hyper Beam at them.

"WE'RE..."

"...BLASTING..."

"...OFF AGAIN!" All of them said.

"They asked for it," Hilda simply said as everyone laughed.

After overcoming its anxiety Wigglytuff is sure to good assistant to Nurse Joy and Nurse Redheart

And soon heroes set course for Courmaine City for Ash's Next Gym battle as the journey continues

Meanwhile, after blasting off, Sonata Dusk returned to Salamance's cave looking for it.

"Salamance are you here?" Sonata asked then Salamance faced her.

"I know that you are upset that tried to use you, and I'm sorry for what they did to you. But I'm offering to make amends," Sonata offered it a taco which Salamance enjoyed it. "So does mean where buddies?"

Salmance licked her face which made her giggle.

"I guess that's a yes."
