Chapter 31: Chapter 30-Pokémon Summer Camp! Enter the Shadow Five!

"Wow! There it is!" Ash exclaimed as the group made it to the summer camp.
"Pika Pika!"
...
"Wow, the beach is pretty," Bonnie exclaimed.
"Ah, the smell of love air," Zane expressed. "Gotta love it."
"Hey it's Professor," Pinkie said seeing him waving.
"Long time no see," Twilight said.
"Hi there," Serena gestured.
"It's nice of you to invite us," Fluttershy added then the group headed in their direction.
In the midst of our hero's journey to Shalulour City. Professor Sycamore has invited them to take part in his annual Pokémon Summer Camp.
As the heroes talk to the Professor, Team Rocket who disguised themselves as chefs overlooks from afar.
"Just as we thought, the Twerps did make the scene," Jessie said.
"We hit that one on the head, and with the Professor as host, their appearance is a must," James implied.
"Let's take it real slow, and when the time comes we'll all their Pokémon away in one fell swoop!" Meowth said.
"And swimming piles of gold but for now let's earn their trust," Clyde said before they headed to the kitchen.
Meanwhile...
"And that's what happens," Ash finishes explaining his story.
"Wow! Great! What a marvelous experience, you met Mega Lucario."
"Mega Evolution is cool as it gets. the moves, the power, their appearance, it's amazing!" Twilight exclaimed. "You just had to be there."
"I wish, so that means you will be battling Korrina and that powerful Mega Lucario at the Shalour Gym soon."
"You bet! The stronger the opposition the more fired up I am. I win that gym badge."
"Pikachu!"
"Well, I hope your stay is a marvelous time."
"Thanks."
"Here's the cabin you be staying in," Sunburst showed them their cabin.
"It's the cutest thing ever," Bonnie said.
"Everyone will spill into teams as you can see, your team is called Team Froakie."
...
"Ooh, bunk beds, I call top bunk!" Pinkie said as Rarity looked out the window.
"My starts, the view is incredible," Rarity said then looked toward a battle. "What do we have here?"
Then the group headed to the beach...
"It looks like a battle is going on."
"It's a Squirtle."
"Squirtle?" Zane scanned it.
Squirtle. Tiny Turtle Pokémon. It shelters itself in its shell, then strikes back with spouts of water at every opportunity.
The opposing Conkeldurr used Super Power and tried to land a hit but Squirtle dodged with little effort and then used Skull Bash to score a direct hit and Conkeldur was knocked out.
"Man that Squirtle is something," Jaden exclaimed.
With Rainbow Dash...
"Who's next in line to challenge me?" Rainbow asked then suddenly got hit by a Volt Tackle. "What in the world...?"
"Pika Pika!" A Pikachu was right in front of her.
"Pikachu," Rainbow exclaimed then looked at its tail seeing a heart-shaped tail. "You can't be Ash's Pikachu, you're a girl. You seem kinda familiar."
"Pikachu, how many times do I have to tell you not to Volt Tackle on someone," A girl with blue hair, both dark and light approached Rainbow Dash She wore aviator goggles, golden ear clips, white trainers, and a yellow shirt with a thundercloud on it. "Well, I'll be a Mankey's uncle, Rainbow Dash long time no see!"
"Indigo!" Rainbow came over and pulled her into a quick hug with back pats. "What're you doing here at the Sycamore Summer Camp?"
"Well I got a call from the professor himself to check out his camp of his," Indigo explained. "I've heard that you traveling with the kid that Garchomp in Lumsiose City."
"Yeah, his name is Ash, and I'm traveling with him and his friends," Rainbow said to her. "So you want to battle?"
"Do you even have to ask?" Indigo smirked as the two prepare for battle.
With Pinkie Pie...
"Look at this Sandy," Pinkie Pie said to her Sandile who was in her hair being unamused. "A seashell, that's a keeper."
"No way!" A girl wearing a simple pink shirt with pictures of lemon slices on it approached Pinkie with her Bonsly. "Pinkie? I haven't seen you since that radical dance-off back at Club Neon!"
"Lemon Zest! Nice to see ya!" Pinkie Pie high-fived Lemon Zest immediately, jumping as she did so. "So what's new with you?"
"You know, traveling around the world, been practicing on rhythmic battling with Roxie, you?"
"Seeing so many people and Pokémon..." Pinkie started to explain.
With Applejack she had finished her battle with Sugarcoat...
"I'm surprised AJ, you had that Treecko for nearly two months and already evolve into Grovyle."
"You're not bad yourself, having two of the strongest Steel Types is impressive," Applejack said.
With Fluttershy...
"Hey, Fluttershy!" Sour Sweet ran over and gave Fluttershy a big, long hug. "How are you doing?"
"Oh. I'm doing well, Sour Sweet." Fluttershy pulled herself out of the hug and helped brush some dirt off of her dress. "How's Clefairy?"
"Doing fine. There is the occasional blip here and there, but other than that, it's pretty okay," Sour Sweet said to her.
With Rarity...
"Hello there." Rarity slowly walked towards Sunny Flare. "I don't think we've met outside of the Friendship Games. My name is Rarity, or Miss Rarity if you prefer, darling."
"Nice to meet you, Rarity. My name is Sunny Flare." She graciously stood up and walked over with the elegance of a lady. "Your Whimsicott and Chimchar are quite nice."
"Why thank you, darling. I do like them but that Buziel of yours is adorable," Rarity commented.
"That he is. He's a very loyal and strong friend just like the others." Sunny replied.
"And you're an excellent trainer. I believe your team is doing great. How about we exchange information sometime?"
"Sure, sounds good," Sunny said taking out her Pokédex.
She typed in information on the screen. "Name? Name? Ah yes, 'Sunny Flare', age 16 years, born at a Pokémon Center near Anistar City."
"I see. Well, it was lovely meeting you," Rarity turned around leaving Sunny behind.
...
After the battles ended, the group went to visit Professor Sycamore and his crew for refreshments. While doing so, the group noticed a lot of Pokémon from the island. Ash and his team were walking down the path, while the rest of the party was heading toward Professor Sycamore and his crew.
"Hey, Professor Sycamore!" Ash greeted the Professor. "Is this where your boat is?"
"Indeed it is," Sycamore responded. "This is a rather interesting place isn't it?"
"Yeah, it really is," Ash looked around with interest.
"So how's everything going here?" the Professor looked around. "Are you guys enjoying yourself?"
"Yep, it's great," Ash nodded.
"Heh, yeah, sure," the Professor said as he led his crew inside. "If you need anything, I hope you don't mind my saying so."
"Okay, thanks," Ash thanked him.
Once inside, they sat down around a table and ate.
"Professor, this is delicious!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"Thank you," Professor Sycamore replied.
Hours Later as night fell...
Serena was sitting on the dock with Fennekin on her lap as Serena groomed her tail then Rarity came up to her.
"Mind if I join you?" Rarity asked.
"Sure, I don't mind."
"I noticed that you're looking down, care to talk about it?"
"I was just thinking. Everyone seems to have a dream, but when looking at me, I don't have one."
"Well, everyone's dreams are different so naturally it's not easy to find one."
"But I have a question for you, why did you become interested in fashion?"
"I really can't say, but it was my passion to do fashion after experiencing what the wonder of Pokémon can do. I knew I could make dresses for people and Pokémon alike. But I am confident that you find your dream as well."
"Thanks for the advice," Serena said.
"Don't mention it," Rarity said as they looked up to the night sky.
