Marcus has always been a bit of an introvert and a loner. After his dad decides to send him to Canterlot High to live on his own and to hopefully make new friends, he ends ups getting involved with our favorite group of magical humans. It was already hard enough to try and become more social, but to have to deal with magical threats just makes it even more difficult. Hopefully, he can still have a good fresh start here regardless.
