I flew over to Sweet Apple Acres, where Applejack had a major problem on her hooves!

“Are you OK, Applejack?” I asked her, galloping up to her.

“There’s a whole swarm of caterpillars eatin’ up my apples!” she answered.

“Did you know that some animals love to eat caterpillars?” I asked her.

“Yep,” she answered.

“I’ll go find some for you,” I told her.

“Hurry back!” she warned me.

I flew all over Sweet Apple Acres to find predators of caterpillars.

I had rallied up all the birds that I knew would love caterpillars.

“Are you ready, Applejack?” I asked her.

“You betcha!” she answered.

We worked together to exterminate the caterpillars.

While Applejack snatched the apples to put them out of the caterpillars’ reach, I sang to attract the birds to the caterpillars.

Every bird that teamed up with me got more than its fair share of caterpillars to eat!

“Hoo-wee!” hollered Applejack. “I’m all tuckered out!”

“Did we do it?” I asked her. “I’m tired, too,” I added.

“We sure did,” she confirmed.

“We did it together,” I reminded her, “with lots of help from my feathered friends!”
