Lunare is a dragon/pegasus hybrid who lives in solitude out in the Everfree Forest, pretty much away from normal society. He's lived a life of sorrow and isolation, ridiculed by his fellow pony folk due to his heritage.

One faithful night, however, his life begins to change forever. And that is all thanks to a certain Princess of the Night. Through his building relationship with her, Lunare comes to learn that he doesn't have to closet himself away from others, and that he has much of a part to play in the ever changing history of Equestria as everyone else.
