He felt tired so he decided to take the books back to his office. The long hours spent studying yesterday too, with no break were taking its toll on him. Yawning, he stood up and stretched. Marking a place to start back up later, he closed the books and carried them away in a spell. Hopefully, he could get back before dinner time. Starlight and Trixie would be very annoyed with him if he missed out on more food.

As Sunburst walked through the library, he heard a strange noise. It sounded like a soft hum with an edged tone every few notes. He stopped and turned toward the sound. Hearing that it was coming from the opposite direction of his office, he decided to teleport his books to their destination and search for the source of the sound.

After a few moments, the sounds started to change. It wasn't just hums but grunts now and slaps. This was very odd, especially when he noted the sound was coming from one of the private study rooms. Reaching the entrance, the sounds became very clear moans and grunts, leading to Sunburst facepalming.

It had to be a pair of students doing something stupid. Of all places, why here? He didn't want them to stain up the place. But he also didn't want to interrupt them. A clean library would have to take priority over private manners. He took a deep breath and cracked open the door, hoping they still had their clothing on.

He was stopped cold at the sight of two, fully naked and covered in sweat. Yet, that wasn't the puzzling part, that was the partners in question: Vellum Codex and Strawberry Scoop. He facepalmed again. "I can see that..." He covered his eyes. "Just put your clothes back on and take it somewhere else--" He stopped at their moans returning. Dropping his hand, he realized that they were still fucking, even while he stood there. "Will you two stop?"

"What do you mean you can't?" He raised an eyebrow at their actions.

"Can't you smell it?!" They laughed together.

"I can't smell a thing!" Sunburst turned away as they got rougher. "My nose has been stuffed up all day." He took a moment to think about their wording. "Can't? What do you mean by that?"

"Love has no smell!" Sunburst argued. "It's scientifically impossible."

"You've never loved somepony!!" They laughed at him.

Sunburst's eyes widened at such an insult. He remembered that from his school years, reminiscing about Starlight saving him from bullies. Later, when he met her again as an adult, their friendship was strong, better than strong even. Images of her kissing him one day out of the blue. Small dates lead to bigger dates, ending in the bedroom. The memories ended with Trixie stumbling into their lives.

He stopped thinking and turned back around, deciding to close the door on the two lovers and let them have their fun. However, he halted in his tracks when he realized Strawberry and Vellum weren't just fucking, but going completely out of control. He noted the stress on them and the large amounts of cum already over the table.

Sunburst turned away in full flush as they continued fucking despite him standing there. Getting closer, Sunburst confirmed it. "Poisoned food. Damn..." Sunburst jumped back as one of them tried to reach for him. Their looks were beginning to change. Slowly as they broke their kissing, they seemed to want him to join them. He teleported out of the room and locked the door behind him. Seeing them crash into the door, he hit them with a knockout spell. "I'm going to find out what's going on here."

Heading back to his office, Sunburst remembered the books the dragon lord, Ember, had asked about. They involved Spike and dragon biology with plenty of mentions of mating rituals. His eyes widened, and he rushed off to Starlight.

Stopping by his office to grab the rest of his notes, he was halted by the lights flickering off without warning. The door slammed shut, and multiple giggles echoed around him.

"Can I help you?" Sunburst said.

"We heard about your little 'accident' last night."

"Accident?" He shivered away as hands pressed against him in the blackness.

"You know what I mean."

"No, I don't--" Sunburst is silenced as they pull him down. The sounds of moans and screams followed. Sitting beside the door was a plate of food meant for him, but a few other ponies found it first.
