It was a beautiful Sunshiny day at sweet apple acres. The apple family was doing their normal day’s work Harvesting the apples.

Little applebloom was having a rough day. She was tired of all the hard work and just wanted to have some fun. "Why can’t we ever do anything fun?" she complained.

Her sister applejack replied "we do things fun but there's also work to do."

"I know I know," Applebloom said "I’m just bored."

"Why don’t you spend some time with sweetie belle and scootaloo this evening?"applejack asked.

"I would but I can’t," applebloom replied. Sweetie belle’s going to a fashion show with her sister rarity." "And scootaloo and rainbow dash are hanging out with the wonderbolts."

"Well I’m sorry sugarcube" applejack said. "I’ll tell you what We’ve got that apple family reunion coming up soon. You get together with me tonight we’ll make the cookies for that day."

"Do I get to eat some?" Applebloom asked.

"You can have a couple," Applejack said.

"Just two?" applebloom asked disappointedly.

"Afraid so," was applejack’s reply.

"Well I guess that’s better than nothing," applebloom thought.

So that night the two sisters made a great big batch of snickerdoodle cookies. Which Applebloom thought was a lot of fun.

When they were done applejack said "Now you can have a couple."

"I still think I should get more than two," applebloom said.

"Yeah but you don’t need a stomachache Sugar cube," Applejack said.

"I suppose you’re right," applebloom replied. So applebloom had her two cookies and then shortly after they all went to bed.

In the night applebloom woke up she felt hungry. She thought "I know what I’ll do I’ll sneak down and have a couple more cookies no pony will ever even know." So she snuck downstairs into the kitchen. She was about to take one of the cookies out of the cookie jar when something strange happened.

A little green guy with pointy ears Appeared over her left shoulder. And he said "Take those cookies you should not."

"Who are you?" Applebloom said.

"Your conscience I am," the little Green Man said.

"You’re my conscience?" she said.

"Yes your conscience I am," He said.

"Haven’t I seen you in a movie before?" she asked.

"Seen me in a movie you may have but your conscience I am," he replied. "And only two cookies your sister said you can have. Taking more wrong it would be. Of the dark side it is."

"Are you trying to tell me that I would become evil for taking cookies?" Applebloom asked.

"Stealing cookies leads to more stealing which leads to crime crime leads to suffering." He said.

"Well I guess you are right," applebloom said. "I shouldn’t have anymore cookies." So she turned around to go back upstairs. As she did the small Green Man disappeared. "That was odd" applebloom said then she went back to bed.

The next morning when apple bloom awoke. She remembered what had happened. "That must have been a dream," she said. "Why would Yoda be my conscience?" Then she got out of bed.

It was a school day so she had to head to school. On the way her two friends met with her. Sweetie belle and scootaloo. "I missed you guys yesterday," applebloom said.

"I missed you too," said sweetie belle.

"Yeah it's good to hang out together again," scootaloo said.

Applebloom wondered if she should tell them the strange thing that had happened to her but decided she better not. It sounded too crazy besides it was just a dream right?

The three friends sat down in class together. And their teacher miss Cheerilee stood up and spoke to the class.

"Class remember we've been working hard on our math lately. Today we are doing a test to see how well your learning."

"Oh no not a test," Applebloom thought tests are so hard. When Cheerilee brought their papers Applebloom noticed that Jade Blossoms was sitting by her. Jade was great at math. "I could just sneak a glance at her answers," Applebloom thought.

Just then Yoda appeared over her left shoulder again. "Cheat on the test you should not," he said.

"Why do you keep showing up?" Applebloom whispered.

"Told you I did," he said. "Your conscience I am."

"But why?" she asked.

"Sent to you by the force I am," he said. "To lead you and guide you in the ways of the light. Cheating on tests wrong it is."

"I guess you’re right," applebloom said "I won’t cheat." And Then again Yoda disappeared. No one else seemed to notice he was even there.

Later in recess applebloom decided to tell her friends. "you ever seen Star Wars?" she asked.

"Oh yeah," Scootaloo said. "It’s awesome."

"I have," sweetie belle said "though rarity doesn’t like it."

"Well do you all remember the little green Jedi Yoda?" Applebloom asked.

"Yeah," they said in unison.

"Well he’s been appearing over my shoulder now telling me what to do. He says he’s my conscience," Applebloom said.

The two fillies began laughing hysterically.

"That’s a good one," applebloom scootaloo said.

"No really I’m not kidding," applebloom replied.

"Of course you are," sweetie belle said.

"No I’m not," applebloom said angrily. Then her friends could tell she was serious and they stopped laughing.

"But that doesn’t make any sense," sweetie belle said "Yoda is just a movie character."

"Or is he?" scootaloo asked. "Maybe that movie was based on something real."

"Even if it was why would he be appearing over my shoulder and be my Conscience?" Applebloom asked.

"Are you sure it’s not just discord pulling something on you?" sweetie belle asked.

"No I don’t think it’s discord," applebloom said. "For some reason I think it’s real."

"Well I wish I had a cool character for a conscience," scootaloo said.

"It’s not as cool as it sounds," applebloom said. "It actually feels kind of strange."

As they were talking another pony walked up. And it was not one they liked to see. It was diamond tiara she always mistreated the three of them for not yet having their cutie marks. Which was something ponies earn When they find their special talent.

"Hey blank flanks," she hollered. "You all look just as lame as usual."

This made applebloom very angry.
"Why can’t you just leave us alone?" applebloom asked.

"Because someone has to point out how worthless you are," diamond tiara replied.

Now applebloom was really mad. She was going to walk right over and punch diamond tiara right in the face and Knock her out.

And then Yoda showed up again right over applebloom’s shoulder. "While a time to fight there is," he said "now the time it is not. Only in trouble it will get you." No one else saw him just applebloom.

But she said "you’re right if I punch out diamond tiara I’ll only get in trouble."

"Are you talking to yourself blank flank?" Diamond Tiara said.

"No I’m talking to my conscience,"applebloom said and walked away.

That night applebloom was about to go to sleep. She thought "I may not understand why my conscience appears as Yoda. But I’m really glad I have a conscience. It has kept me out of so much trouble. I just wonder why diamond tiara Acts the way she does."

Diamond tiara laid in bed. She thought over the events of her day. "Sometimes it seems the way I behave is not the best," she thought. "Is my behavior right?"

then a little man in a black cloak and hood appeared over her left shoulder.
"you are doing great my apprentice," he said. "Continue to follow me and learn the ways of the dark side."

"Yes conscience Palpatine," she replied "Yes."
