This is the first me in Equestria story that i've wrote that takes place during an actual episode of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. It takes place during part 1 of the two part Season 2 Finale episode A Canterlot Wedding Part 1
Me At The Royal Wedding by Evan Carlton Written on ‎April ‎23, ‎2012
All six members of The Mane Six were having a picnic at the fields in Ponyville Park when Spike came with two letters from Princess Celestia that he presented in the wrong order the first letter read that they were invited to the wedding of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and that Applejack would be in charge of the cake, Rarity would be in charge of making the dress, Fluttershy and her songbird choir would be in charge of music, Pinkie Pie would be in charge of the party, Rainbow Dash would perform a Sonic Rainboom after the ceremony and Twilight Sparkle would be overseeing all the event along with me, who Princess Celestia and Princess Luna told them they contacted me recently and I would be there soon to meet them.

Twilight Sparkle then asked Spike "wait who's getting married to Princess Mi Amore Cadenza?"

Spike then said "oops I guess I should have given you this one first."

Twilight Sparkle read the letter and shockingly said "she's marrying my older brother why didn't he tell me this is person?" After explaining how Twilight was very close to her older brother Shining Armor in the Big Brother, Best Friend Forever Song to her friends and saying how much she loved and missed him all six members of The Mane Six and Spike took the train to get to Canterlot.

When Twilight Sparkle came face to face with her older brother Shining Armor who was now captain of Princess Celestia's Royal Guards she asked him "why didn't you tell me you were getting married and why are you marrying some Princess i've never even met before?"

Shining Armor said "Twiley Princess Mi Amore Cadenza is Princess Cadence your old foal sitter."

Twilight Sparkle said "I can't believe your marrying someone like Cadence not only was she the best foal sitter ever but she's also beautiful, smart and kind."

After running into Princess Cadence for the first time in several years Cadence surprisingly didn't recognize Twilight but she thought to herself out loud "well it has been along time maybe she'll remeber me later" that was when I showed up. I said "hey Twilight I heard that were both wedding planners in charge of overseeing your friends prepare for the wedding?"

Twilight Sparkle said "Evan it is always nice seeing you, but anyway let's get started."

Before me and Twilight Sparkle went to see how her friends were doing with all their assigned jobs for the wedding Shining Armor said "hey Twilight is this the human you told me about?"

I said "that's me, you must be Twilight's older brother Shining Armor, it would nice meeting you I hope you and your wife have a wonderful wedding tomorrow."

Shining Armor said "thank you Evan, well i'll look forward to seeing you and the rest of Twilight's friends at the rehearsel tonight and the wedding tomorrow."

After going around seeing how Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rarity were doing with their assigned jobs for the wedding we noticed that Princess Cadence was being mean and rude to them but when we tried to tell them about it they said "I think the two of you are overreacting and besides she's probably stressed out about the wedding tomorrow."

We then went to Shining Armor about it but before we had a chance to tell him anything Princess Cadence showed up and told him that she wanted to talk to him in private "Look, we need to talk"but of course with Twilight Sparkle being an overprotective and concerned younger sister and me just being curious we listened in on there conversation.

Shining Armor said in amuffled tone " I'm here to talk. I- look, she's okay-

"Princess Cadance said in a muffled tone " Just- listen to me."

Shining Armor said in a muffled tone "I'm listening, I'm listening."

Princess Cadance said in a muffled tone "I thought I made it perfectly clear I didn't want you to wear that."Shining Armor said"this was my favorite uncle's."

Princess Cadance replied" and?"Shining Armor said" and I think I should wear it.'

Princess Cadance asked Shining Armor "are you disagreeing with me?"

Shining Armor said"I guess I am- ah!" while holding his head in pain.

Princess Cadance said with a worried expression on her face" Oh dear, are you getting another one of your headaches?" while performing a spell on him that temporarily knocked him out.Shining Armor got up felt pain for and felt pain for a second so he said "Gyah!"

Princess Cadance asked him "feeling better now?"

Shining Armor: said "Yeah, thanks for asking." Me and Twilight Sparkle said "she's not just rude and unpleasant she's downright evil."

As me and Twilight Sparkle went to tell Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity they were all wearing fancy dresses. Fluttershy flew right up to me and Twilight and said "can you believe it the five of us have been chosen to be Princess Mi Amore Cadenza's bridesmaids."

Me and Twilight then asked them at the same time "what happened to the old bridesmaids?"

They all said at the same time "we don't care we'll do it anyway right girls?"

Everyone agreed except for Rainbow Dash who said "how am I going to do a Sonic Rainboom in this it's not aerodynamic enough?"

Rarity said "i'll see what I can do." and Rainbow Dash thanked her.

Later tonight at the wedding rehearsel Princess Celestia said " perfect, girls, no need to rush, then of course, Cadance will enter. [long pause] I'll say a few words, and then we'll begin with the vows. Shining Armor, you'll get the ring from your Best Mare."

Shining Armor asked the other five members of The Mane Six "Hey... has anypony seen Twilight and Evan?"

Twilight Sparkle said "i'm here! I'm not gonna stand next to her, and neither should you!"

Shining Armor apoligized to everypony in the middle of Canterlot castle by saying " I'm sorry, I don't, I don't know why she's acting like this."

Princess Cadance said "maybe we should just ignore her."

Twilight Sparkle said "you have to listen to me.

"Fluttershy feeling concerned for her friends behavior said in a worried tone "oh goodness! Are you okay."

Twilight Sparkle said "i'm fine."

Applejack asked her "Ya sure about that? "

Twilight Sparkle said " I've got something to say, she's evil!"

Twilight Sparkle said "she's been horrible to my friends, she's obviously done something to her bridesmaids, and if that wasn't enough, I saw her put a spell on my brother that made his eyes go all crosseyed and weird looking."

Princess Cadance:starts crying "Why are you doing this to me?!"

Twilight Sparkle replied to Cadence's question by saying" because you're evil!" Princess Cadance runs away while crying.

Twilight Sparkle said " evil and if I don't stop you you're gonna ruin my brother's life!"

Shining Armor told his sister " you want to know why my eyes went all crosseyed? Because ever since I started having to perform my protection spell, I've been getting terrible migraines. Cadance hasn't been casting spells on me, she's been using her magic to heal me!"

Shining Armor then told her " and she decided to replace her bridesmaids because she found out the only reason they wanted to be in the wedding was so that they could meet Canterlot royalty,and if she hasn't been on her best behavior with your friends, it's because with me being so busy, she's had to make all the decisions about the wedding!"

Twilight Sparkle tried to tell her angry brother " I was just trying to-" but before she could finish talking Shining Armor said "she's been completely stressed out because it's really important to her that her big day be perfect! Something that obviously wasn't important to you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go and comfort my bride. And you can forget about being my best mare. In fact, if I were you? I wouldn't show up to the wedding at all."

Applejack said "C'mon, y'all. Let's go check on the princess."

Twilight Sparkle started to say "but I was-" but before she could finish talking Princess Celestia told her in an angry tone " You have a lot to think about" as she slammed the door in anger.

Twilight Sparkle started crying "Maybe I was being overprotective. I could've gained a sister, but instead... I just lost a brother."

I stayed behind to comfort a crying Twilight Sparkle. I told her "hey me and my older brother gotten into arguements and disagreements before but we forgave each other shortly afterwards and still love each other."

Twilight Sparkle then looked up at me and spoke as I wiped the tears out of her eyes "yeah but if you were there to hear the song about the relationship that me and my brother had before I moved to Ponyville nearly two years ago you would know that me and my brother have never done that before."

I then told her don't worry about, everything will turn out alright, i'm sure you're friends and brother and Princess Celestia have forgiven you by now." Me and Twilight went to apoligize to everypony for the way she acted but just then Princess Cadence stepped through the door.

Twilight Sparkle said "i'm so sorry, please forgive me."

Princess Cadence then made an evil smile and said "you will be" as she casted a spell that surrounded me and Twilight with green fire that surrounded us and teleported us to the underground crystal cave beneath Canterlot. Princess Cadence's grayish purple eyes glowed green for a second as she watched me and Twilight Sparkle disappear and laughed evilly. To Be Continued
Me and Twilight Sparkle and the real Princess Cadence will escape from the cave and challenge and defeat the Princess Cadence imposter in the same way that Twilight Sparkle and Princess Cadence did in a Canterlot Wedding Part 2 tomorrow. Note. i'm sorry about not including the two short cameo appearances of Princess Celestia's younger sister Princess Luna in part 1 but don't worry I will include the Princess Luna's short appearance at the party in part 2. So yeah there you go.

Note. While I didn't include the lyrics to Big Brother, Best Friend Forever in the last story and sing along to it I decided that for all the future me in equestria stories that take place in actual episodes from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic I shall only include the lyrics to my favorite top ten songs from the show from both season 1 and season 2 and when we get there season 3 when it starts instead of all of them and sing along when we get to the part when the characters sing. I may also write stories from episodes that don't have any songs in them, you'll just have to see.
Me At The Royal Wedding Part 2 by Evan Carlton Written On‎ April ‎24, ‎2012
Me and Twilight Sparkle woke up in the underground crystal cave located beneath Canterlot. Twilight Sparkle performed a spell that made her unicorn horn glow so me and her could see in the dark when suddenly reflections of Princess Cadence surrounded us.

Twilight Sparkle asked herself "where am I?"

Princess Cadence replied back ":The caves beneath Canterlot, once home to greedy unicorns who wanted to claim the gems that could be found inside. And now, your prison.

Me andTwilight Sparkle shouted" Help! Help!"

Princess Cadance laughed to herself and said "It's no use. No one can hear you. And no one will ever think to look for you, either. Most ponies have forgotten that these caves even exist. Which is why they are the ideal place to keep the ones who try to interfere with my plans. [laughing]

Me and Twilight Sparkle asked her " Plans? What plans?"

Princess Cadance replied " The plans I have for your brother, Shining Armor of course."

Twilight Sparkle said " Don't you dare do anything to my brother, you... you monster!" I agreed even though I just met him and didn't know him for long."

Princess Cadance told us "Only way to stop me is to catch me!" [laughing] Over here! she said as she bounced around from crystal to crystal which Twilight destroyed with a magical laser." [laughing] Nope, over here!"

Twilight Sparkle destoyed several more crystals until we came across the real Princess Cadence ofcourse we didn't know that at first so I told "Twilight Sparkle go get her, I don't fight girls unless it's in a fighting game because I know it's fictional and would never hurt someone of the opposite sex in real life."

Princess Cadence said "wait Twilight it's me Cadence don't you recognize me" but still thinking she was an evil manipulative liar we still didn't believe her until she proved she was in fact the real Princess Cadence by reciting the nursery rhyme with Twilight Sparkle that they did together when Cadence was still Twilight's foal sitter in the past when Twilight was just a little unicorn filly before she got her cutie mark in the flashback on Season 1 Episode 23 Cutie Mark Chronicles.

Princess Cadance told her "No! Wait! Please! Don't hurt me! Twilight, it's me! Please, you have to believe me. I've been imprisoned like you. The Cadance who brought you down here was an imposter."

Twilight Sparkle told her "Likely story!"

Princess Cadance then recited the nursery rhyme "Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves... Twilight Sparkle and Princess Cadance: ...and do a little shake." T

Twilight Sparkle then hugged her and said "You remember me!"

Princess Cadance then said " Of course I do. How could I forget the filly I love to sit for the most? "

Me, Princess Cadence and Twilight Sparkle all said at the same time " we have to get out of here, we have to stop her!"

That was when the imposter Cadence started singing This Day Aria. "this day's going to be perfect, the kind of day of which i've dreamed since I was small." everypony will gather round say I look lovely in my gown what they don't know is that I have fooled them all." (The real Princess Cadence starts singing) This day was going to be perfect, the kind of day of which i've dreamed since I was small but instead of having cake with all my friends to celebrate, my wedding bells may not ring for me at all." (Princess Cadence imposter sings) "I could care less about the dress, I won't partake in any cake." My vows well i'll be lying when I say, that through any kind of weather i'll want us to be together the truth is I don't care for him at all!!!" No I do not love the groom, in my heart there is no room but I still want him to be all mine!!!" (real Princess Cadence sings) "we must escape before it's too late in time to save the day." I hope i'll be lying when I say, I fear that I may lose him to the one who wants to use him not care and love and cherish him each day." For I so love the groom, all my thoughts he does consume, oh Shining Armor i'll be there very soon." (Princess Cadence imposter sings) "finally the moment has arrived, for me to be the lucky bride." (real Princess Cadence sings) "oh the wedding we won't make." he'll end up marrying a fake." Shining Armor will be---" (Princess Cadence imposter sings) "mine all mine (evil laughter) songs ends.

Princess Celestia said "we are here to arrange the marriage between Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and Shining Armor." As me and Twilight Sparkle were flying out towards the exit with Cadence's alicorn wings. "

Princess Cadence said "we're not going to save him, we won't make it."

Twilight Sparkle said while looking around for the exit "we will we just have to find the exit, there it is I can see it" but we were suddenly stopped by imposter Cadence's former hypnotized bridesmaids Lyra Heartstrings, Colgate and Twinkleshine but we quickly got rid of them when Princess Cadence threw flowers off a cliff and they went after them.

We showed up at the wedding just before Celestia could say "I know pronounce you husband and wife." Twilight Sparkle said "stop!" T

he Cadence imposter cried while saying "why do you have to ruin my special day?"

The real Princess Cadence then stepped through the doors and said "because it's not you're special day it's mine."

Applejack said "I still don't understand how there can be two of you."

Princess Cadence said "because she's a changeling, she takes the form of somepony you love and gains power by feeding off the love you have for them." The imposter revealed her true form by turning into Queen Chrysalis the queen of the changelings. Queen Chrysalis looked like a half alicorn, half insect, half zombie creature.

Queen Chrysalis said while laughing evily "Right you are, Princess. And as queen of the changelings, it is up to me to find food for my subjects." "Equestria has more love than any place I've ever encountered." "My fellow changelings will be able to devour so much of it that we will gain more power than we have ever dreamed of! "

Princess Cadance: told her " They'll never get the chance! Shining Armor's protection spell will keep them from ever even reaching us."

Queen Chrysalis told her[chuckling] "Oh, I doubt that. Isn't that right, dear?" Shining Armor was too hypnotized to say anything. Queen Chrysalis said while shaking her hooves "Ah, ah, ah.,don't want to go back to the caves, now do you?" "Ever since I took your place, I've been feeding off Shining Armor's love for you." "Every moment he grows weaker and so does his spell." "Even now my minions are chipping away at it." Changelings: [laughing] as they break the pink magic forcefield covering Canterlot.

Queen Chrysalis: [laughing] "He may not be my husband, but he is under my total control now."

Twilight Sparkle and Princess Cadance: [gasp]

Queen Chrysalis said " and I'm sorry to say, unable to perform his duties as captain of the royal guard. " Princess Cadance said " Not my Shining Armor!" Queen Chrysalis said " soon, my changeling army will break through." "First, we take Canterlot and then, all of Equestria!!!"

Princess Celestia trotted up to Queen Chrysalis and said while touching horns in anger "no you won't you may have made it impossible for Shining Armor to perform his spell, but now that you have so foolishly revealed your true self, I can protect my subjects from you!" Princess Celestia then fired a magical sun colored laser at Queen Chrysalis who clashed it with an evil looking magical green laser and surprisingly won.

All six members of the Mane Six walked up to the defeated Princess Celestia who told them before she passed out "i'm ok go get The Elements of Harmony." Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity took off their bridesmaid dresses and ran through Canterlot to get to the corridor were the Elements of Harmony were stored after The Mane Six used them to turn Discord into a stone statue on Season 2 Episode 2 Return of Harmony Part 2. All six members of The Mane Six came face to face with an army of changelings that disguised themselves as The Mane Six. So Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle punched and kicked and slapped their imposters until Pinkie Pie used Twilight like a gatling gun by holding her as she hit them with the same reddish pink laser that she hit the crystals in the crystal cave with and finally Pinkie Pie used her party cannon from Season 2 Episode 9 Sweet and Elite as a weapon. When The Mane Six finally got to the place that Princess Celestia hid The Elements of Harmony it was surprisingly taken over by another changeling army. Knowing they were beaten all six members of The Mane Six were led back to the Canterlot castle ball room were Princess Celestia was trapped upside down in a cocoon and Princess Cadence hooves were tied down to the floor in a slime like substance.

Princess Cadence said "you'll never get away with this when Twilight and her friends come you'll be sor---"but before Cadence could finish saying sorry they were led into the room by Queen Chrysalis's changeling army.

Queen Chrysalis laughed evily and said "You were saying?" "You do realize the reception's been cancelled, don't you?" Go feed[laughing] It's funny, really. Twilight here was suspicious of my behavior all along. Too bad the rest of you were too caught up in your wedding planning to realize those suspicions were correct. "[laughing]

Applejack apoligized "Sorry, Twi. We should've listened to you." Twilight Sparkle told her reassuringly " It's not your fault, she fooled everypony."

Queen Chrysalis then replied in a sarcastic joking manner" hmm, I did, didn't I?" Queen Chrysalis then sang This Day Aria Reprise.

Twilight Sparkle went over too Princess Cadence while she was distracted and destroyed the slime like substance on her hooves and told her "quick go to him while you still have the chance." Princess Cadence then undid the spell that Chrysalis used to hypnotize him with and turned him back to normal."

Shining Armor said while touching his head with his hoof "what- huh is the wedding over?"

Twilight Sparkle said "quick perform your spell!"

Queen Chrysalis flew up to him with her insect like wings and said "what good will that do?" "My changelings already room free."

Shining Armor tried to use the spell anyway but when he failed to do it "no my power is useless now, I don't have the strength to repel them."

Princess Cadence got next to Shining Armor while touching horns and transferring magic into his body and saying at the same time "my love for you will give you strength." Shining Armor and Princess Cadence then performed the protection spell but the force from when the force field bubble hit Queen Chrysalis and not only the changeling army in the ball room but all the changelings that were destroying Canterlot to be forced out of Canterlot and someother unkwown location." This also freed Princess Celestia and the captured royal pegasus guards as well as captured citizens of Canterlot and the ones visiting from Ponyville that were overpowered and tied up by the changelings. After all that me and Twilight Sparkle and The other five members of The Mane Six went to prepare for the real wedding of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. I asked Rarity that even though I don't really like suits I asked her to make one for me after she got done making Cadence's dress.

At the wedding Twilight Sparkle asked her older brother Shining Armor "seriously though I get why the queen of the Changelings wanted to be with you, but how did you get someone as amazing as Cadance to marry you?" Shining Armor told his sister "I told her she wouldn't just be gaining a husband, she'd be getting a pretty great sister, too." That was when all three Cutie Mark Crusaders showed up as flower girls and so did Princess Cadence.

Princess Celestia then said ": Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of the real Princess Mi Amore Cadenza..."

That was when Cadence corrected her " Princess Cadance is fine." Princess Celestia corrected herself " Hm. The union of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor. " "The strength of their commitment is clear. "The power of their love, undeniable." "May we have the rings please?" Spike then handed Celestia the rings which she leviated with unicorn telekinesis even though she's an alicorn and placed on their unicorn horns. Princess Celestia said "I now pronounce you mare and colt."
[cheering]

Princess Celestia looked at all six members of The Mane Six and told them. " This is your victory as much as theirs." "You persisted in the face of doubt, and your actions led to your being able to bring the real Princess Cadance back to us." "Learning to trust your instincts is a valuable lesson to learn." Shining Armor and Princess Cadance then kissed each other.

Princess Celestia then told Rainbow Dash "Rainbow Dash that's your cue" as Rainbow Dash took off her dress and flew towards the sky with her pegasus wings to perform The Sonic Rainboom.

Rainbow Dash said while performing The Sonic Rainboom "best wedding ever!"

When we got to the party that was held in the same place that the Canterlot Garden Party was on Season 2 Episode 9 Sweet and Elite Princess Celestia's younger sister Princess Luna showed up from out of nowhere and asked everybody while flying down "hey what did I miss."

I then told her sarcastically "oh not much Luna just the entire wedding but before that Cadence was being impersonated by a changeling named Queen Chrysalis who took over Canterlot but was defeated by Princess Cadence and Shining Armor shortly after."

Princess Luna then did a cute embarrased blush while saying "oh my i'm sorry I wasn't there to help." "You see I like to take a nap during the day normally on a regular basis, you know with being a princess of the night that raises the mppn on a daily basis and all, but i'm glad that the bride and groom took care of it."

I then said "they sure did then we had the real wedding and it was awesome especially with Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom at the end."

Princess Luna said "actually I was waking up when that happened and it was beauitiful" she then looked over to Rainbow Dash and said "thank you Rainbow Dash I really enjoyed it."

Rainbow Dash blushed when she said "thank you princess, i'm glad you enjoyed it."

Pinkie Pie and Dj Pon3 were at the turn tables when she said "let's get this party started" and threw the microphone at Twilight Sparkle who caught it with unicorn telekinesis and started singing Love Is In Bloom. (Twilight Sparkle started singing) "Love Is In Bloom." A beautiful bride, a handsome groom." "Two hearts becoming one, a bond that can not be undone." I said Love Is In Bloom." "A beautiful bride, a handsome groom." Love's In Bloom, starting a new life while still making room for us." (Twilight temporarily stops singing but music can still be heard in the background) Shining Armor told his younger sister "Twilight none of this would have been possible without you little sis, I love you." Twilight Sparkle told Shining Armor "love you too, B.B.B.F.F" Princess Cadence then got into their carriage. Shining Armor asked his new bride "ready to go?" Princess Cadence then thought to herself for a minute "oh I almost forgot." Princess Cadence threw the bouquet of flowers and the bridesmaids for Queen Chrysalis when she was still disguised as Cadence but Rarity got in the way and said while yelling in the trademark British accent that she talks in "it's mine!!!" Rarity caught the flowers but then got angry faces from Lyra Heartstrings and Colgate. (song starts again as carriage drives away) "Love's In Bloom, a beautiful bride, a handsome groom, " I said "Love's In Bloom, a beautiful bride, a handsome groom." "Love's In Bloom." Starting a new life while still making room for us!" (Song ends as fireworks shoot across the sky and Spike talks about his bachelor party and everyone laughs) I then return back home to Planet Earth after taking off my tuxedo and putting back on the shirt that I wore yesterday. The End.
