Chapter 16: Private Practice

Private Practice

takes place during S8 E8, (The Parent Map.) Dash is not in this episode, as it’s about Starlight, Sunburst, and their parents, so I figured this could be what went on in her world instead.

be warned, an oral sex scene. i’m sorry if this is cringey at all. even i think it is.

also at the end, when Soarin says he’ll “let her” pay him back, i mean that as a joke. in real life you don’t owe anyone sexual favours against your will, no matter what they did for you or how they’ve mad eyes you feel.

Private Practice

Soarin hopped out of the shower after a two hour training session with the team. Everypony had been wondering where Spitfire and Rainbow were, but Soarin had told them that it was private.

Fleet seemed to understand Spitfire’s need for privacy and had tried her best to be polite when Lightning, High Winds, Silver Lining, and Surprise had asked constantly.

“Stop, if the captain wanted you to know, she would’ve told us,” Fleetfoot had told her.

Misty and Soarin had agreed, both out of their care for their Captain. Wave Chill hadn’t said anything, but Soar figured he knew something was up. He and Spitfire had grown very, very close over the past couple years, and their feelings for each other were obvious.

Soarin shook his head and grabbed a towel, patting most drops of water away. Deciding he didn’t need his uniform, Soarin flew to Wave Chill’s room and knocked.

“Hey, Wave, you in there?”

A couple seconds later and the door opened, Wave’s dark blue coat appearing. “Hey, Commander. Something I can do for you?”

Soarin chuckled. “Seriously, Wave, you don’t need to be so formal. Anyways, I was just letting you know that I’m leaving to go have a training with Rainbow Dash. She’s... taking care of something for me.”

At that, Wave sent him a smirk. “Takin’ care of business, now, are we Commander?” he teased.

Soarin shook his head. “Not that. Anyways, if you don’t mind keeping an eye on the place? I’ll ask Fleet to do it tomorrow but her and Blaze are out doing something,” he explained.

“Yeah, yeah, no problem.”

Soarin smiled. “Great, thanks, Chill!” He turned to fly away.

“Wait, Soarin!”

He turned back with an eyebrow raised. “Yeah?”

“Is... she okay? Spitfire, I mean,” he asked whilst blushing.

Soarin smiled warmly, glad that his friend had found somepony who cared so much about her. “She’s alright. Between you and me... she might kill me for this, but, Dash is taking care of her. I won’t say too much because~”

Wave put a hoof up, smiling simply. “It’s alright, I get it.”

“Okay,” Soarin said. “I gotta go now, see ya,” he called, now flying away for real.

Soarin knocked on the door of Dash’s house. “Dash? Spit? Tank? Any of you in there?”

He bit his lip, nervous and excited to see both of them. Was Spitfire doing better? It had only been a couple days, but still, he hoped she was.
The door opened, and a pair of bright cerise eyes met his. “Hey you,” she answered, smiling softly.

His heart skipped a beat as Dash expressed a look of affection for him. “Hey, Dashie,” he replied, stepping into her house. “You ready to train?”

Her eyes narrowed and chest puffed. “Hell yeah,” she exclaimed, grinning.

“Grab your goggles,” he told her. “And before we do, can I~”

“She’s right across from my room,” Dash interrupted, knowing full well who he wanted to see. “I’ll wait outside.”

He nodded, glad he didn’t have to explain himself, and headed up the stairs, finding the room across from Rainbow’s and entering. “Spitfire? It’s me.”

He heard some shuffling and a little bang before the door opened, revealing Spitfire. Her fiery mane was rumpled and one cheek looked like it had been slept on quite thoroughly. “Soar, you’re here.” She smiled warmly at him. “What’s up?”

He shrugged. “I’m here to train Rainbow,” he replied. “She’s waiting, but I wanted to come check on you first. How’s Ponyville life?”

She laughed a little. “It’s... calm. Rainbow has me come to Twilight’s School of Friendship with her, so I guess it’s kinda cool to see young ponies.”

Soarin smirked. “Terrified any of them yet?”

“No,” she snarked back, sending a playful glare his way. “Crash really helped me back at the Speedster’s Flight Camp. Fillies and colts don’t cry as much as she used to,” she joked. “But seriously, it’s fun. I taught a little, had lunch with Crash and her friends... they may have embarrassed her a little with all the stories about when she was younger.”

He chuckled. “You’re gonna have to tell me them sometime. Anything else?” he asked.

“Eh, we eat dinner. Practice tricks, read sometimes. She showed me around some more, Pinkie sure reminds me of Surprise.”

“It’s almost scary, huh?”

She grinned. “Yep. Oh, and Tank! He’s pretty cool. Wouldn’t expect her to have a pet like him, I had to stop myself from laughing when I saw he had a little helicopter thing,” she snickered, covering her mouth with her hoof.

Soarin chuckled. “Right! I don’t think she understood why I was so confused. But she’s Crash, can’t have a pet that keeps her grounded.”

“Guess so, it’s totally her to do something like that.”

Although she was talking and seemed happy to see him, Soarin couldn’t help but notice her bright orange eyes had a lost a bit of their shine. “So,” he sighed, “how are you? Feelings wise.”

At that, her lips turned upside down. “I’m fine. It’s really nice to be off, spend some time with Crash. She’s a great friend.”

Soarin tried and failed to hide a smile. “She really is.”

“A friend, Soar, not some pony I’m in love with.”

He grinned, ignoring her comment. “Speaking of that, Wave’s wondering about you.”

Spitfire didn’t hide the blush that crept onto her face. “Yeah? How is he?”

“He’s respecting your privacy, unlike a couple other teammates,” he answered with a roll of his eyes. “He asked me if you were okay. I said you were with Crash, that’s all.”

A sad smile formed on her muzzle. “Oh, well... Tell him I’m good. Maybe when you’re training with Rainbow... he can come along? I’d like to see him, if ya don’t mind,” she said quickly, keeping her voice as cool as she could.

Soarin nodded, deciding not to tease her. “Yeah, I’ll ask him tomorrow.” He glanced at the clock in the hallway. “Sorry, Spit, I should probably go. I’ll say goodbye before I leave though, okay?”

She nodded. “Okay. Try not to have too much fun,” she added, winking and closing the door.

Soarin chuckled to himself and made his way down the stairs and out into the front ‘lawn’ if you will. Dash wasn’t there. Floating up, he scanned the landscape and saw her resting on a cloud, eyes closed and a content smile on her face. Soarin smiled wickedly, plan forming in his mind. She could fall asleep anywhere.

He silently flew closer to her, placing his lips near her ear and saying, “Boo.”

Her head popped up and she frantically looked around. “Who’s there?” she growled.

He fell back in laughter. “I scared you!” he exclaimed, smiling triumphantly.

Once she had realized it was just him, she calmed down and rolled her eyes. “Just humouring you,” she shot back, wings flaring out to the side.

“Right,” he said. “That was hilarious. Anyways, you ready?”

She regained her composure. “As I’ll ever be!”

“Stretching now!” he commanded, laying on the cloud and extending his legs.

She groaned. “Boring, boring, boring,” she mumbled.

He smirked as he felt his muscles stretch more than they already had before. “You’ll be grateful after.”

“It’s the only reason why I do it,” she quipped back. They exchanged a tender smile, and Soarin pried his eyes away from her strong, lean limbs. “Focus, Commander,” she added, chuckling darkly and getting to her hooves.

He did the same and pulled on his goggles. “Alright, it’ll be a bit harder to do this with the rest of the team not here, but we’ll make it happen.” He flew to a spot in the sky. “Your place is right here, in front of Lightning and behind Blaze.”

She groaned. “Do I have to be in front of Lightning? He always stares at my ass whenever we’re close to each other.”

Soarin knew Lightning meant no harm. He was a good pony and a very good friend, but he couldn’t help the spark of jealousy and fury that rose in his chest. Dash was his mare. Not that she was his, but, well, in a way, she kinda was.

He felt her breath against his ear. “Don’t worry, Clip, I’m not interested,” she whispered, smirking as she backed up.

“Good. ‘Cause I want all this awesomeness to myself,” he replied huskily and watched in satisfaction as her pupils grew, pink dusting her cheeks.
I love you, I love you, I’m so in love with you. Could he ever tell her?

“Maybe we’ll have time for that later. Come on,” she said, flying upwards. “Let’s do this.”

“Good job, Crash.”

She scoffed. “Just good?” She sent him a teasing smile, letting him know she was just kidding.

He laughed and flew away from her house, over to their cloud. “Fine. How about superawesomemazing?” he asked, trying to imitate her raspy voice.

“You’re a terrible impressionist,” she laughed, landing on the cloud.

He stuck out his bottom lip in a fake pout. “Dashie, you’re hurting my feelings.”

Dash only giggled. “Come here, ya goof.”

He obeyed, still pretending to be sad. It took all his strength not leap on her. “If you hurt me more I’m going to have to tell on you.”

She grinned and hummed, brushing her nose along his neck, up to his ear. “I’ll make it up to you,” she whispered.

Soarin inhaled sharply, his ear twitching. “Care to tell me how?”

“Well, I could do this.” She placed her lips on the corner of his mouth. “And this.” She kissed him, lips moving on his in a nice rhythm.
Soarin bit back a groan and wrapped one arm around her shoulders, bringing her closer. He kissed her back, lining her lips with his tongue, begging to be allowed in. She complied, allowing him to taste her. Her delicate mouth held the flavour of some sort of sour candy, something Soarin had always enjoyed.

“Mmhmm,” he mumbled, gently shoving her down and letting her fall into the cloud and him on top of her.

She pulled away, looking at their surroundings. “How was being in charge today?” she asked, stroking his dark blue mane as he ran trails of kisses down her neck.

“Really, really boring,” he said into her skin. “You were annoyingly stuck in my head all day.” His hooves caressed her wings and found their way to her thighs, rubbing them.

She gasped, massaging his back. “I make no apologies for that,” she replied, barely managing to get the words out.

He leaned into the massage for a second, and lowered his head, peppering her perfect fur with licks and sucks. “Just... going over in my mind, of every single damn thing I wanted to do to you,” he whispered. “That I want to do to you.” He chuckled as he went back up to her neck, trailing his lips along it and all the way up to her ears, biting one and smiling as her chest rose to meet his. “You know, to thank you. And because I missed you,” he admitted tenderly.

“Thank... me?” she questioned, words spaced out.

His lips brushed hers for a second and he pulled back, smiling. “For the other night... Some of your best work... and your work is always over the top amazing.”

“Believe me, I know,” she panted while giggling.

He laughed with her, dragging his tongue down her stomach and stopping right at her entrance. “How was teaching?”

Dash moaned softly, breaths becoming short. “Ah, well... I- oh, god, Soar... don’t play games with me,” she spat, hips rocking. Smirking, he breathed onto her pussy as she squirmed some more. “Fuck,” she swore. “You’re such a dick sometimes.”

Her marehood told Soarin that she felt the opposite. Smiling, he ran his nose along her clit and allowed his tongue to lap at her folds before entering her. “You love it,” he told her and continued to dart his tongue around her, feeling her walls clamp around him.

Her hoof reached down and began to rub her clit teasingly, increasing her pleasure and Soarin’s arousal.

His breathing became laboured, his face flushed at the hotness of her sex, taking in her unique taste, her whimpers and sighs better than music.

She held his head tighter and moaned again, and again. He could get off from her sweet sounds he thought as he went faster and faster. “Oh, god, Soarin!” she shouted, and placed her other hoof over her mouth, trying to keep her voice down. To her avail, she only got louder, until she placed a hoof on her mouth harder and only let out whines.
He went faster, harder, wanting her to cum so bad, have her feel the euphoria he had felt the other night and— finally.

“Soarin!” she groaned, hips thrusting into the air.

Delighted, he pulled away as her bucking gradually stopped and left her looking relaxed and embarrassed. Her hooves pulled away and Soarin took the one that touched her vagina juices and licked it, humming softly.
And then he put his mouth onto hers, slowly and gently. A kiss of care and tamed passion and from his side- love.

“No one heard, Dashie,” he said, pulling back. “And even if they did, they’ll know I put on a good show.” He winked and smirked, straightening his mane and wings.

Biting her lip, she stood up clumsily and stared at him. “You... I...” She shook her head, mane becoming even more wild. “You’ll get rewarded for that,” she muttered and leaned into him, foreheads touching.

Soarin felt his heart quite literally soar as her rainbow and vanilla scent wrapped around him. And knowing he could have this effect on her raised his spirits by a million percent. He was going to tell her, he was going to do it. Right here, right now. “Dash, I...I...”
He couldn’t do it. Why? He had no idea.

“What is it?”

He shook his head. “Nothing, never mind. We should probably head back.”

She tore away from him. “You okay, Soar?”

He nodded, cursing the blush in his ice blue cheeks. “Yeah, of course. I just have some paperwork to do back at HQ,” he answered.

She frowned. “You know you can talk to me,” she said gently, hoping to get through to him.

Soarin smiled. “I know, Dash. Guess I just don’t want to leave quite yet,” he replied.

Dash flew into the air, flying casually towards her home. “Everypony misses me, thought you’d be used to it by now.” She flashed him a cheeky smile as he joined her.

“What can I say? Guess you just don’t have that effect on me,” he told her swiftly.

She shoved him playfully, giggling. “Terrible impressionist and liar,” she listed.

“Anypony could have known that wasn’t true,” he sneered jokingly.

“Whatever, come on.”

They flew a couple more minutes and reached her house. After looking around, Soarin leaned in and kissed her cheek and pulled her in for a quick hug. “I’ll let you thoroughly pay me back for that later.”

“I’ll find time in my schedule,” she replied tiredly. “Now get going, don’t wanna fall behind.”

He reluctantly let go and gave her a soft smile. “I’ll see you tomorrow, okay? And practice that double diamond dive,” he added.

“I’ll try.”

He started flying away but turned back. “Wait, I need to say goodbye to Spit.”

“Don’t keep her waiting then.” She opened the door and he flew in and found the yellow mare on the couch, reading a magazine.

“Hey, Cap, I’m gonna get going,” he announced, walking over to her.

She looked up. “Good to know.” She poked him in the arm. “Please tell Dash to get some more interesting magazines,” she pleaded.

He chuckled. “I’ll try, she’s pretty stubborn though.”

Spitfire winked and released him. “I’m sure you could find a way to persuade her.”

Soarin kept his composure, even though his ears flattened against his head. “I’ll see you tomorrow and bring your coltfriend,” he snipped, walking away. “I’m glad you’re doing well, Spits.”

He walked out the door, saving a caring smile for Dash. She returned it, and with that, Soarin took off into the sky.
