The Pegasonian War – Teaser

“Never trust a Greek,” said one of the pegasi rejecting the yellow pegasus’ directions to Cloudsdale’s famous Rainbow Pub. The group of new pegasi towered over a terrified Fluttershy who lay in the middle of their insults. Just as tears were about to escape from her eyes, Fluttershy was rescued by a rainbow flash. The group quickly noticed their victim was gone and looked in frustration behind them and saw a rainbow maned pegasus standing proudly in front of her friend.

“What the hay do you think you’re doing to MY friend?” demanded Rainbow Dash.

“We didn’t realize how sensitive the pegasi were here,” the group’s leader shot back grinning. “We’ll make sure we don’t damage anymore fragile hearts.”

Rainbow Dash hated sarcasm, but hated seeing her friends hurt even more. “Why don’t you go back to your pathetic excuse of a cloud city and leave us alone.”

“Why leave when we’re having so much fun in this glorious city of Cloudsdale,” he said loudly causing heads to turn.

“You have a problem with Cloudsdale?” Rainbow Dash fumed.

The new pegasus, who was much larger than then rainbow mare, walked slowly toward her, looked down and said in a soft but rough voice, “You and your city will blow away in the wind.”

This sent Rainbow Dash into a rage. Fluttershy seeing Rainbow Dash about to attack the insulting pegasus tried to pulled her away but little success. “How about we settle this the old way,” Rainbow Dash said getting in an attack position.

The other pegasus just smile, laughed and said, “Let’s get this over with. I have things to do.”

Rainbow Dash stood up and pushed and unwilling Fluttershy toward Cloudsdale’s racing arena. “Do you think this is a good idea Rainbow? I mean, maybe we should just go back to Ponyville and enjoy some of Pinkie Pie’s delicious cupcakes.”

“No cupcakes now Fluttershy. Not when Cloudsdale’s honor has been spit on by these lowlifes,” Rainbow Dash replied with a determined look.

“Who are these pegasi? I have never seen them before,” Fluttershy asked still being pushed along by Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash stopped and gave Fluttershy a look she had never seen before in the usually pleasant rainbow pegasus, “Romans.”

I will continue this story, but now I am extremely busy with 3 film productions and a coming TV series and will not be able to write more any time soon. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I do hope to start writing again soon. Thank you for your understanding.
