Gundam Wings, The Story Of a New Beginning
Chapter 6: Interrogation
Previous Chapter Next Chapter"Uhhh..."
"Get up..."
I couldn't see. And the voice I heard wasn't Rainbow Dash's. It sounded...like a Taliban.
Oh no.
I tried to open my eyes, but I found myself in a never ending darkness. I released then I was blind folded.
"Who are you?"
"GET UP!"
I felt a large amount of force on my back, and I was sent towards the ground. My face connected, and my nose began to feel a little wet. I got up, and someone poked me in the back with something sharp.
"Walk forward."
I obliged, and I started forward. I released that I was back in Afghanistan.
"No..."
"What did you say?"
"No...no, no, NO!"
I screamed as I was back to where I started. In a hell-hole of a country, and now isolated from a peaceful world were I could start over. I thrashed around as I could not get back to Equestria. Everything is gone now. I just wanted to smash my head against the wall to kill myself, but someone grabbed a hold of me, and injected me with something. I immediately began to calm down against my will and slump down. I tried to stand up, but someone took me by the stomach and threw me down against a wall. I felt the blindfold being removed as I stared into the eyes of a Taliban insurgent. He smiled at me coldly as he got to business. He stood up, and walked over to a table. He sat down in a chair, and told me to come over so that me and him could have a "chat". As I barely got up, I saw heavily armored guards sporting FAL heavy assault rifles, and Ak-47s. I sat down, and the insurgent began talking.
"Do you know why you're here?"
"What...do...you..want...from...me..."
The insurgent slumped down a bit.
"Oh, don't talk like that. I'm your friend."
"I don't have any."
"Really, then who's that?"
I turned my head around and found Rainbow Dash chained to the wall, with two guards standing by her. I noticed that Rainbow Dash had bruises and cuts all across her. She had blood dripping from her nose and mouth, and seemed as if she would die any second. I turned back to the insurgent, who was picking his finger nails with a really long knife.
"What did you do to her...?"
The insurgent stabbed the knife into the table and looked at me with cold and unforgiving eyes.
"It put up a lot of resistance. Too bad it had to go through all of those beatings."
The insurgent signaled to the two guards and carried Rainbow Dash away towards another room. The door slammed shut, and I looked back at the insurgent.
"What the fuck do you want from me you c**t?"
"I want you to go back to your base where all of your Americana pigs are, place this on the medical bay, and detonate it."
He handed me a sort of canister that had the biohazard mark on it. I stared down at the device and looked back up.
"And if I refuse..."
I heard some buzzing coming from the other room, and it was followed by high-pitched screaming. The buzzing began to get more deep and moist, as I realized what was happening.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER?!"
The insurgent chuckled as he snapped his fingers. The buzzing died down, and the guards emerged with a bloody heap of flesh and feathers in their hands. The slammed down the disgusting heap on the table. Blood soaked my face as I stared down at Rainbow Dash's decapitated wings.
"MOTHER FUCKER!"
I lunged at the insurgent and strangled him with all of my might. He began making gargling noises as the two guards came over and pried me off. One of them smashed me in the forehead with the butt of his rifle. My vision began to fade as another guard came out and tossed the wings down on my chest. The interrogator came over and spoke with a grin on his ugly face.
"Those are very fine trophies mister. Do you want the complete package with the head too?"
I saw the two guards go into the same room, and drag out the bloody Rainbow Dash by her mane. The guard dropped her and kicked her down to the ground. She landed next to me, and I noticed her chest still moving up and down. She was still alive, even after her wings getting sawed off. I looked back to the insurgent, and he knelt down beside me.
"I am loving this, you know."
"You sick c**t sucker."
"Whatever that means."
The insurgent motioned to his guards and they carried me back to the table. They set me down, and the insurgent resumed the conversation.
"Do as I say, and I promise, you will see that thing again."
I looked over at Rainbow Dash, who was crying bloody tears against the wall. I looked back at the interrogator.
"You can't fool me. She will bleed out."
"Well, then, I guess we should just put her out of her misery."
The insurgent took out a 44. Magnum and pointed in at Rainbow Dash's head.
"I always wanted to shoot a horse."
I stared wide eyed at the grinning insurgent, who was about to end the life of my best...no...the most beautiful creature I had laid my eyes on. I barely saw Rainbow Dash whimper something to me.
"Ben...please...", she said while sobbing.
"STOP!"
The insurgent was about to pull the trigger, when he looked at me funny.
"Do you like gambling?"
The insurgent looked at me with interest now, and withdrew his 44. Magnum.
"Ah...I was born to take risks. Such as the way my parents got me...what do you have in mind?"
I thought about it for a moment. Then, my eyes looked at the 44.
"How about Russian Roulette?"
The insurgent smiled.
"I love that game. Everyone loves games. Sure, let us play. What will I get if I win?"
I took a small sheet of paper from my pants pocket. I unfolded it, until it was a full sized map that showed the location of Echo-5, and other based across Afghanistan. The insurgent was fascinated with the map.
"For me?", the insurgent asked sarcastically.
"Okay, this shows the location of Echo-5, my base. Plus, as a bonus, it shows many other bases across the Middle East. It is all yours if you win. But, here's the thing..."
I paused in between my sentence as I took a small rubber band that was sitting in the middle of the table. I picked it up, tied it around the map, and walked over to the other side of the table, where the insurgent sat. As I approached the interrogator, the guards lifted their weapons at me, only to be lowered by a signal from the insurgent interrogator. I tied the map to the right side of his head. The interrogator got the idea right as I finished tying.
"I want you to aim for the map when you shoot. If you loose, the bullet will go trough the map, making it useless, and it will kill you too."
"So, if I loose, the map goes with me?"
"Precisely"
"And if I win?"
"Isn't it obvious? You get me dead, a map for a tactical advantage, and..."
I looked over to Rainbow Dash who was still sobbing in the corner. She looked like she would bleed out any second, so I had to make this fast.
"...and you can execute her.", I said as I pointed to Rainbow Dash,"One bullet trough the head. Nothing less. I wnat her to go quickly."
The insurgent let out another fake smile.
"Oh, I understand. I will end it quickly if you lose."
"Shall we play?"
"Let us play now."
The insurgent set down the 44. Magnum on the table, loaded in a round, closed the chamber, gave it spin, and set it down.
"You may have the honers."
I nervously took the handle of the 44. Magnum, and spun it on the table. After a long time spinning, it came to rest on the insurgent.
"My lucky day."
The insurgent took the Magnum, aimed it at the map that was tied to his head, and pulled the trigger.
Click!
"Ohhh...so close."
He set it down, spun the chamber, and gave it a whirl.
It came to rest on the insurgent again.
"Wow, what do you know?", the interrogator said with a chuckle as he brought the revolver to the map again.
Click!
He spun the chamber, set the 44. Magnum down, and spun it.
It rested on me.
I took the pistol with a shaky grip and brought it up to my head.
Please god...
Click!
I expected my head to get blown to pieces, but I opened my eyes again.
"You are not used to this game, are you?", the insurgent asked.
I spun the chamber, and repeated the spin.
It pointed at the insurgent.
The insurgent brought up the pistol to his head, and pulled the trigger.
Click!
"Oh, winning streak."
He spun the chamber, set the pistol down, and flicked the handle with his wrist. The 44. Magnum spun once again as it pointed at me in its final rotation.
I brought the pistol to my head, and pulled the trigger.
BANG!
The blast deafened me as gore exploded out the other end of my head. i fell out of the seat, yet still managed to see the room. I found it very odd, that after taking a 44. Magnum blast, I was still alive. I felt unbelievable pain in my head, as my fading vision made out the insurgent approaching me. He chuckled and loaded another round into his Magnum. The insurgent turned around and pointed the Magnum at my head. I felt a tear come down my eye as I saw the gun slowly move towards Rainbow Dash. I wanted to scream, but some invisible force prevented me from opening my mouth. The insurgent clicked the hammer into place and put the gun into Rainbow Dash's mouth.
"Ben...", she whispered as the insurgent pulled the trigger.
BANG!
Blood and pieces of flesh sprayed the wall that Rainbow Dash was leaning against. I screamed with agony as Rainbow Dash stared at me with her petrified eyes as she slumped down. The gun then moved towards my head. He let out a smile and loaded another round into the revolver.
"It was nice knowing you."
My vision suddenly whited out as the insurgent pulled the trigger once more.
WOAH! HOLY MOTHER FUCKIN' SHIT! THAT WAS UNEXPECTED! I really had to rush through this chapter to get it done before the weekend was finished. Consider this as a bonus for all of my loyal fans to the story: Tears of War!
