Fluttershy has always been different. Her voice is gentler than a junebug, she has the abilities to communicate with animals, and she has always possessed a birthmark shaped like three butterflies on her flank. Her dreadful aunt, uncle, and cousin are always mocking her and punishing her for the most absurd things.
It isn't until a mysterious mare named Rarity comes and takes her away that she realizes there are other ponies like her.
Parodying JK Rowling's masterpiece, this story follows the adventures of three fillies attending Hogwart's School for Special Ponies. Together, they must unravel a conspiracy and stop the evil Ponymort from returning before it's too late.
