The Wonderbolts downstairs soon joined everyone upstairs. Lighting Dust was also there.
"Lightening Dust...what the hell are you doing here?" Rainbow Dash asked, growling at the washout.
"...You mean you don't know about the next part?" She asked.
"What next part?" Spitfire asked. "I thought we knew everything about that day eight years ago..." She added.
"Well there was one thing we never told anyone...and it's about time we talked about it..." Sweetie Belle said. "It's actually why Lightning Dust hasn't been doing anything reckless for eight whole years..." She added.
Eight Years Ago, Spike's P.O.V.
Sweetie Belle and I were having a hangout to test the waters at Sugarcube Corner. Admittedly, the two of us spent nearly the rest of the day with one another.
"...This has been the best date I've had in a year." Sweetie Belle said. "After so long of trying to work things with Button Mash, it's nice to be with someone who actually wants to spend time with me." She said.
"Same. It's so much better to want to spend time with someone then trying to do something else." I said. Suddenly, the door to Sugarcube Corner in, and in walked a very injured looking Lighting Dust.
Present Day, Third Person P.O.V.
"WHOA WAIT A SECOND, YOU WERE INJURED?!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.
"Yep. During one of my big stunts too. Was going to make a team of washouts from the wonderbolts too. But then...well...these two..." Lightning Dust pointed to Spike and Sweetie Belle. "They set me straight." LD added.
Eight Years ago, Sweetie Belle's P.O.V.
I looked over to the injured Lighting Dust. "Oh...oh my gosh!" I rushed over to them with Spike right beside me. "Are you okay miss?" I asked.
"I'm fine...just a scratch." Lighitng Dust said.
"No, you are clearly a lot more then just scratched. Spike, go get Pinkie Pie; we need a doctor for her" I said.
"On it! I'll send a letter to Twilight." Spike said and went off.
"Seriously kid, I'll be fine." Lighting Dust said before I used my magic to hold her in place.
"You'll be fine when the doctors say you'll be fine; and I want no argument about it!" I said. Soon a doctor arrived and took Lighting Dust to a hospital.
Present Day, Third Person P.O.V.
"How did that set you straight?" Spitefire asked.
"The trip to the hospital made me realize just how serious it really was. If these two hadn't have forced me to go to the hospital, I would've never realized how life threatening doing stunts could be." Lightning Dust said. "That's why ever since then, I've been on the up and up. Once I was out, I decided to relearn flying from the ground up. After hearing about how successful you had been teaching Scootaloo to fly, I decided to take up learning how to teach others how to fly. The right way." Lighting Dust said. She produced a business card. "And thus, I'm happy to say that I run the new 'Filly Flight School' on the weekends. I may teach for free, but every parent whose sent me their pegasus children has been generous with the donations. My current class looks to be my most capable yet." Lighting Dust said. "One of them wants to become a wonderbolt when their older. So I've been spending more personal time with them making sure she doesn't make the same mistakes I did. And she reminds me a lot of how I was when I was her age." She added.
"Wow...you two sure turned her life around, didn't you?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"...Now I regret ever doubting my daughter's friends if one of them can cause such a popular flight school to become a reality. Yes I've heard about the Filly Flight School. Every high class pegasus parent I've talked to that's sent their child to that school because they simply do not have the means to tutor their child on the weekends for one reason or another has sung nothing but high praise about the school." Spoiled Rich said.
"It's that good? Huh...good to see you've turned your life around, Lightning." Spitfire said.
"I would never have done so if it weren't for the drake and his bride here." Lighting Dust said.
"And me. I guess I was the inspiration behind the whole thing." Scootaloo said.
"Yes you were you up and coming wonderbolt you." Lighitng Bolt said. "I'm sure you'll be a fully fledged wonderbolt before next week." She added.
"Really? You mean it?" Scootaloo asked.
"You got the spirit Scootaloo. Hell I'll cheer the loudest from the stands for you today." Lighting Dust said.
"OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!" Scootaloo flew around room a bit.
"The more things change..." Apple Bloom said.
"The more they stay the same..." Diamond Taira finished.
"At least she's careful." Lightining Dust said as Scootaloo got back in her chair.
"Sorry...I got too excited." Scootaloo said.
"Understandable, I mean, you've got your very own fan before your even a full fledged wonderbolt." Rainbow Dash said, smirking.
"I'll make sure I do 20% better at the special pre-reception show then!" Scootaloo said.
"There's a wonderbolt performance before the reception starts?" Spoiled Rich asked.
"Totally my idea. It'll make this double wedding 100% more awesome!" Scootaloo said. "And I'm in it on special request. Three of my best friends are getting married in a double wedding, so I wanted to make it as special as I possibly can for it to be the first double wedding." She added.
"...Again, I really misjudged your friends, Diamond Tiara." Spoiled Rich said.
"Your forgiven mommy." Diamond Tiara said.
"I just wanna make sure this is the best double wedding ever." Scootaloo said, smiling.
"I have a feeling it will be." Filthy Rich said, smiling.
