In the Crystal Empire there was darkness. Reason is because the sun hasn’t risen yet, and it’s still nighttime. But eventually; the sun began to rise, and the lights from it began to shine into the Crystal kingdom. In the Royal bedroom there were the parents; fast asleep, and awaiting to be awoken by the light that’s about to shine in the bedroom. As for the Royal Baby bedroom however; the light from there took a little longer, but it eventually shone into the bedroom. As the sun shines into the room, the Royal baby was happily dreaming about the best time of her life: spending some quality time with her auntie Twilight. Unfortunately; right as soon as she was about to finish her dream, she was rudely awoken by a loud bang that came from outside her room. Startled, and rudely woken from her sleep and dream, she began crying. The parents rushed in to see that Flurry Heart is okay, but that source of the noise is still yet unknown. “Oh, my poor baby”, said Cadence whom was also awoken abruptly. “Did that mean old noise startle you? C’mere..” she says as she spreads out her hooves. Flurry Heart responded with magically teleporting to her mom’s hooves, and starts hugging her whilst still crying. “Cmon”, Cadence began; “let’s get you some breakfast. I’m sure that we can get through with this day, okay?” Flurry Heart sniffled, wipes away her tears with one of her own forehooves, and babbles; “owkay”, before leaning against her mom and sucking on one of her own forehooves again.

At the breakfast table; Flurry Heart is still fidgeting a little from being rudely woken up from her dream so abruptly. “Cmon Sweetie”, Cadence said in a slight annoyed but still caring voice; “you need to hold still so I can seat you down in your seat. Please?” Flurry Heart listened, and allowed her mom to seat her down in her high chair. Still; regardless of whether she was seated or not, Flurry Heart is still fidgeting. After five minutes; Flurry Heart began to calm down slightly, but was still angry that her dream was interrupted by some mean noise that came out of nowhere.

Cadence then began to bring out a jar of mashed peas, and scooped some up for her daughter. “Open wide Flurry; here comes the num nums.” Cadence said in a motherly tone. Flurry however wasn’t buying it, and then made a disgusted face whilst saying; “bleh! Dat yucky. Ew.” Cadence sighs; knowing that her own daughter will never get used to the taste of them. But then eventually gets an idea, and says; “if you finish your meal, then I’ll get you something sweet to eat. What do you say?” Flurry Heart’s eyes grew wide, and then bounced in her high chair with excitement whilst thinking about her day finally going good for once. However; she’ll soon later learn that that won’t be the case for long... .
