At the Kiln of the First Flame, the Ashen One sits patiently in front of the First Flame; waiting for it to eventually flicker out without a sacrifice. The ash coats their armour and the ember in there otherwise cold body gives a hope to the knight that they will see the future of the world. The flame flickers and there is naught to do but rest until the world changes...

Ashen One is a Knight starting class with a Life Ring burial gift, they are referred to as they/them. This does contain spoilers for Dark Souls 3 but only the base game.

Dark and Horror tags refer to the world of Dark Souls, Human for the Ashen One and crossover... because its a crossover.
