It has been six days since they got the scientist the information he gave was good, but it is not good enough they still need to know where the rocket will be launched from. And Gilda had moved in time it took to integrate the stallion, much to Gears’ annoyance.

“Spike, why the fucked you waste are precious time, we could have taken down Gilda right then and there, but no a fuckin egghead is more important than one of the biggest threat to Equestria.” Gears ranted to Spike

“Look, we were trying to maximize our intel and prepare for the attack, but we thought she wouldn’t move so soon.” Spike said

“I get it knowledge is power, but we're running out of time and all of them are still kicking.” Gears yelled.

“Hey, we found something.” Woodfire said.

“What is it?” Spike asked

“Hate to ruin the surprise.” Woodfire said with a smile

“Come on, let's check this out.” Gears said.

As everyone gathered around the board, everyone took their sets with Scootaloo sitting next to Gears. “Ok, now we think Gilda and garble are cutting out the queen.” daring do said

“How can you be so sure?” Spike questioned

Well, from all the changeling corpses we found all of them look like they were in a gunfight or executed, so if that the case,

“then they want to tie up loose ends.” Spike finished for them.

“We’ll move on her immediately.” Spike said

“What sir if I may, she is no threat to us we can leave her alone.” Gray cloud said

“She could be an assist to us, plus she might be doing her a favor.” Spike said.

Favor? Gray cloud said

“We get to her first and we can offer her a deal she can’t refuse.” Spike said

And if she does? Gray cloud said

“We deal with it.” Spike said

“Gears I want your team to do recon for now, look for anyone from Garble or Gilda’s circle and get anything out of them.” Spike said.

“Got it.” Gears said.

Gears and Spike huddle and started talking in a corner. Scootaloo walked up to gray cloud and started talking about things. Then the subject changed to a Scootaloo’s relationship with Gears.

You're still conflicted with your feelings? Gray cloud asked.

“Bit yes but I think I might go for it for myself right I mean don’t knock until you try right?” Scootaloo said.

“Indeed.” Gray cloud said.

“Why are we coming back here?” Care root asked

“Last time, there were a lot of changelings here, so there might be clues here.” Spike informed Care.

“The temple is up a head,” Daring said.

They walked up to the temple and took cover behind some bushes. There was a lot of changeling making defence and keeping a watch out. Spike was a bet taken aback by the swiftness of this mission.

“I’m assuming this is where she's hiding.” Care whispered.

“Maybe or just an outpost.” Spike said

“Let's clear this area and head in.” daring said

“Gray you with me...Gray?” Spike said

“Fuck, you see gray detente him immediately.” Spike order

“Got it.” Daring said
“Wait, what if he just abet behind?” Care retorted

“Me and gears suspected someone was a turncoat, so anyone unaccounted for is to be detente.”

“Ok.” Care said in a low toun.

Spike, daring, and care all got ready to open fire until the changeling pounced first. They over welled the trio, pinning them and knocking them out. Once they came to, they saw gray cloud staring at them.

“Don’t try on escaping the queen will see you shortly” Gray said no emotion on his face

“You’ve betrayed us, Gray.” Spike said

“This is not a betrayal” Gray stated

“Bullshit.” Spike said

“I’m not the one to explain this, but you must know I’m your ally.” gray said

“Then get us out of here.” Care said

“I won’t be trying to persuade my infiltrator if I were you, he is not one to be messed with.” Queen Chrysalis said.

“We're just here to talk, so why don’t you untie us so we can chat.” Daring said

“Not yet ” Chrysalis stated

“I’m going to explain everything that has been happening first.” Chrysalis said

“Put me on distraction. That is absurd” Chrysalis said. in her chambers walking around and seeing a changeling comm she respond.

“What do you have to report?” Chrysalis asked

“This is changeling infiltrator 38747” Gray cloud introduced

“Oh, it’s you gloom, what has the equestrian faction is doing.” Chrysalis said

“Well, their mobilising a black ops team to the dragonlands” Gray said

“Is that it” Chrysalis asked

“They put me on the team, your highness” Gray added

“That's good, just keep me informed on everything they're doing.” Chrysalis commended

“My queen, I have something to report” gray said

“Then report, gloom” Chrysalis said

“Me and a mare are going to meet an EIA contacted by the name of Daring-do, a rebel leader in the frozen north.” gray reported

“I will deal with it thanks for the report.” Chrysalis said

“That was an interesting experience.” Gray said

“You killed your brothers why” chrysalis said with a glare

“I had been attacked it was self defence” gray said

“I will get a report later after we kill that mare.” chrysalis said

“No” gray said

“What” chrysalis question

“I think she should be spared, she is just a child compared to the others she not a threat” gray argued

“Fine,” chrysalis said

“Realy” Gray said with a bet of hope

“Yes, I have no clue why you care for a meat bag but if you wish we will spar her but I will not hesitate to kill her if she crosses me.” chrysalis said

“Thank you, my queen” he thanked her

“Now back to your cell” she order

Gunfire was everywhere, the COR were fighting the changeling garble order an extension of the changeling due to the escape from the gulag, when chrysalis arrived a couple skirmishes were underway, Chrysalis felt betrayal but she couldn’t dewl on that now she had to focus on escaping.

“My queen over here” a changeling guard yelled to her

“Garble is a traitor, he ordered his men to kill us” he explained

“Let get to a hideout and plan are next move” chrysalis said to the changeling

“Yes ma'am I will defend you” the guard said

Chrysalis took out a Diamatti burst pistol and shot two griffon who were rushing their position. Her and her guard were heading to the helipad in the back of the base. Chrysalis shot her pistol at some dragons and killed them she continued down the hall that lead to the helipad, then two familiar faces greeted her, garble and Gilda

“Leaving so soon” garble said

“You betrayed us” chrysalis spat at them

“You incompetence comes with consequences” garble said

“This is unwarranted you will pay for double crossing the changelings” chrysalis said

“Yet, I remain unpunished.” garble said with a smile

Chrysalis growled and pulled out a knife. Garble on the other hand pulled out a spetsnaz machete. Chrysalis rushed him going for his neck only for it to deflect it and tried to stable chrysalis in her back, she dogged it and slashed him across the chest. Garble didn’t bother to react, only slashing at chrysalis’ leg, sending her off balance, she quickly recovered and looked over to her guard who was fighting Gilda. She put her attention on garble again nearly dodging his swing at her head. Chrysalis rolled behind him and stabbed garble in the leg; he yelled in pain and kicked her away; she dropped her knife as that happened. She got herself back up and looked at the sky seeing a friendly helicopter she just had to hold out a little longer

“Aah” the Guard said

“You're supposed to protect your queen when you can’t even be a griffon, now time to end this bug problem.” Gilda said

“No” chrysalis yelled

Chrysalis ran towards Gilda and tackled her. She hit her across the face causing blood to come out of Gilda’s beak.

“You are not killing my changelings” chrysalis yelled in gilda’s face

“You bugs should all just die” Gilda said

Chrysalis shouted in pain. Looking down only to see a knife in her side. She was then kicked off gilda. Then in the nick of time the helicopter landed with the minigun firing on the dragon and griffon they retired inside. Chrysalis’ guard rushed to her side and cared her to helicopter

“Get use out of here” the Guard said to the pilot

“Forgive me my queen I should have done better.” the guard said sadly

“It is not your fault you did your best and you did not lose your life that's more important to me.” she said to reassure him

“So that everything then.” Spike said now untied.

“I think we should ally and take down are common enemy” chrysalis offered

“I agree with this but you need to answer for everything you did.” Spike said

“I will, but we need to focus on are enemy” Chrysalis stated

“Yeah, we can agree on that.” Spike said
