”BOW TO RAZEEM”

These words echoed from Canterlot and spread across the entire world of Equus.

Shock and awe, that was the best way to describe the silence that had taken over Canterlot, Equestria, no... The whole world. In The Dragonlands, Dragon Lord Ember and her fellow dragons watched with shocked expressions and faces of absolute horror upon the celestial event and the being who was now on full display in the night sky. Not much could install fear into a dragon but a literal Eldritch terror in all it’s terrifying glory gazing down upon every living being? That’ll do it. The exact same thing was happening world wide for as of this moment all beings upon the world of Equus became equal for one reason: Fear. Griffonia, The Crystal Empire, The wastelands, Neighpon, Zebrica, Cervainia, Nagania, Minotaurus, Satyria, every fathomable nation and landscape that held life were no different from The Dragonlands and of course Equestria. All were in fear of Razeem, The Moon Lord.

Canterlot was in a state of absolute panic as Pegasi flew off to their homes, Unicorns teleported to safety, and Earth Ponies truly displayed their physical aptitude as they sprinted down the streets of Canterlot trying to reach a location they deem to be ‘safe’. Even some of the royal guards, who swore an oath to defend their princesses against all threats, abandoned said oath in order to flee but then again who could truly blame them? Fleeing from something you could not fight against no matter how hard you try is a survival instinct engraved into every living being, no one could really fault them.

Princess Celestia along with her fellow Alicorns, The rest of the Main Six, Starlight Glimmer, Zecora, Tempest Shadow, and an assortment of royal guards who had the courage to stay behind with their princesses looked up to the large entity. They now know his name but refuse to speak it, that is how terrified they are of him. In their eyes, no other villain or entity they had ever faced or heard of could compare to Razeem. Queen Chrysalis, Sombra, Discord, Nightmare Moon, Daybreaker, The Pony Of Shadows, Tirek, not even the legendary Grogar could ever hold a candle to the fear the eldritch horror induced. Every pony and being present were shacking uncontrollably. Poor Fluttershy in particular displayed her fear most as she, much to her own embarrassment, began to urinate where she stood. This caused Rainbow Dash to wrap herself around her terrified childhood friend in some attempt to offer her comfort, one couldn’t help but to respect The Element Of Loyalty’s courage even if it was momentary.

Celestia couldn’t contain nor hide her fear, usually she could put on a mask of courage no matter the opponent but this... This was entirely different. The Sun Princess did somehow manage to regain her composure as she then turns to face her loved ones, her friends, all of her dear ponies who she loved with all her being. She prayed to her mother, her father, even The Goddess: Harmony, to give her strength and courage.

“M... M-my...”, Celestia tried her best but the words just couldn’t form. Finally, her love for her people and those she held dear snapped her out of it as she takes a deep breath, rears up and stomps her front legs, and follows her sisters former example, The Canterlot Voice.

”NO!, I WILL NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN DO YOU HEAR ME YOU FIEND?”

“...”, Moon Lord Razeem remains silent.

”SAY SOMETHING TARTARUS DAMN YOU!”

“...”, silence still remains. Celestia at this point couldn’t even tell if The Moon Lord could even hear her let alone understand her words, she continues to berate the Eldritch horror regardless.

”I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT’S GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND, YOU SEE US AS NOTHING BUT DIRT DON’T YOU?, OUR LIVES MEAN NOTHING AT ALL TO YOU I SUPPOSE?. WELL LET ME TELL YOU, RAZEEM, I CARE NOT FOR WHO OR WHAT YOU ARE I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO HURT ANY LIVING THING ON OUR BELOVED WORLD WE CALL HOME!”

“...”, Razeem continues to look down upon the world still remaining silent.

One couldn’t help but wonder, If Rainbow Dash’s earlier actions were considered admirable despite it only being momentary then Celestia’s own actions were downright suicidal. No doubts about that. Despite it all, Celestia pressed on.

”STOP ACTING SUPERIOR TO US AND FA-”, Celestia’s words suddenly went silent as she then froze in place like a statue. Twilight, Luna, the rest of The Main Six, Zecora, and Tempest noticed this and stampedes over to The Sun Princess, Cadence and Starlight still remained frozen with their horrified expressions where they stood while the royal guards numbers noticeably dropped even more. Luna was the first of the group to speak to Celestia.

“Dear sister, we must formulate a plan.” Luna says as she looks to the sun princess with hope.

“...”, now it was Celestia’s turn to remain quiet.

“Sister?, do you hear me?.”, Luna questions trying to get some response. Every pony, Zebra, and dragon present were starting to worry.

“...”, Celestia still didn’t respond, she didn’t even move an inch... She simply just stood there frozen in place. Luna reaches a hoof out to her sister attempting to touch the sun princess’s right shoulder region.

“I know that our foe is indeed intimidating but we must-”, Luna was immediately silenced because the moment her hoof made contact with Celestia the solar alicorns body simply flopped to the floor. The group looked on in horror as Celestia’s once vibrant magenta eyes lost all life in them but it wasn’t just her eyes, it was her whole body. Princess Celestia, Alicorn Co-ruler of Equestria, the esteemed Goddess Of The Sun, the mentor and motherly figure of Princess Twilight Sparkle, the adoptive aunt to Princess Cadence, she had earned many titles in her time but none of it mattered for as of this moment...

”NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo!” Luna screamed to the heavens in her Canterlot Voice with tears pouring down both of her cheeks, behind her the sounds of crying and pleads for it to simply not be true could be heard as well as everyone present came to the same realization, Princess Celestia is dead.

Suddenly, the sounds of steps could be heard as somepony was walking along the marbled floor drawing near to the group but what was most curious about these steps was that it didn’t sound like the clopping of hooves. The figure caught the attention of the still in mourning equines, dragon, and zebra before them. This wasn’t somepony but someone who also happened to be covered in a brown cloak complete with a hood which covered their facial features however the group could make out what looked like a green mane but most notably was the fact that the being stood on two legs. This new, bipedal, and hooded being now stood before them and upon closer inspection the group could tell this being was female.

“Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss, I apologize for coming too late.”, The hooded figure says before she then materialized a large weapon which practically radiated with power, so much power in fact that it was felt by every living being present the moment it came into being.
