It was a beautiful morning on the island of Sodor.The Mane 6 and their engines were working really hard at the docks.Soon,They were getting tired.The harbor was now busier than ever.Sir Tophom Hatt was worried.

“Hmm.What engine shall I send?”He said to himself.He knew all the other engines were too busy with their jobs.When he looked at his engine chart,The only engine he found left was named ‘Diesel’.”Oh dear.I guess I have no choice.But,To release him.”He arrived at a place called the Diesel works where all the diesels come and get repaired.Derek was almost repaired.

“Oh!Hi,Sir.”He said.But,Sir Tophom Hatt walked to the diesel sheds.”Huh?What wrong?”Sir Tophom Hatt pressed the button and the door slowly opened.

“Ugh...Diesel?”Sir Tophom Hatt asked worried.

“Yeeees.”Came a deep voice.

“Th...The engines and ponies need assistance at the docks.”Said Sir Tophom Hatt worried.

“Ponies?How cute.”Laughed the voice.”Hahahahahaha.”Later,Sir Tophom Hatt came to the docks.

“Everyone,With the extra work,I’ve sent a diesel to help you.”He said.

“My name is Diesel.”Sulked the diesel.

“A diesel named Diesel?Thats weird.”Said Rainbow Dash.

“Well,Well.If it isn’t the ponies Sir Tophom Hatt told me about.”Said Diesel deviously.”Now,Let’s get to work.”The engines were worried.

“What’s wrong?”Twilight asked.

“He isn’t that bad.”Said Spike.But,He was wrong when Diesel started bumping some trucks hard into some buffers.They tumbled off the tracks.The engines and ponies were horrified.”Ok.I take that back.He is pretty bad.”

“What do you think you are!?”Scolded Twilight.

“Well,I’m gonna help by shunting trucks.From here to there and from there to here.Piece of cake.”Said Diesel.The engines and ponies refused to work with Diesel and wouldn’t leave the sheds.Sir Tophom Hatt was enjoying his jam sandwich when the telephone rang.

“So,Theres trouble in the harbor yard?”He said.”I’ll be there right away.”Meanwhile,Diesel was working on his own.Without the others,Cargo layed on the key and ships and passengers were delayed.Everyone was complaining what a bad railway it is.Sir Tophom Hatt arrived.”I should have known Diesel made you decide to stay here.”

“Sir,Why is Diesel so mean?”Twilight asked.

“Such a horrid diesel!”Sniffed Rarity.

“Allow me to explain where it all began.A year ago,Diesel told the trucks to tell lies about James,Gordon,And Henry being silly.They all thought Duck was responsible.But,I figured Diesel was lying and sent him packing.”

“But,Why did you sent him back here?”Fluttershy asked.

“I had no choice.He was the only engine available.Please forgive me.You must get this job done as soon as possible.“Said Sir Tophom Hatt before leaving.

The next day,Diesel started playing more of his old tricks.He bumped into Henry and bounced him off the tracks.

“Wake up!You got work to do.”Snickered Diesel.He didn’t even say he was sorry.

“How rude!”Scolded Fluttershy.Next,He bumped some ticks so hard that the loads went everywhere.The engines and ponies were worried.

“What will Sir Tophom Hatt say about this?”Applejack asked.

“He won’t like it.”Said James.

“Not at all.”Said Rainbow Dash.

“No way.”Said Pinkie Pie.

“How disgraceful!”Said Gordon angrily.

“Despicable!“Grunted Percy.

“Disgusting!”Grunted Rosie.

“So,Who’s going to tell him.A couple of tattle tales?”Diesel asked.None of the engines and ponies wanted to get into trouble.So,They said nothing.Next,Diesel was shunting tucks of China clay into a siding near the sea.He banged the tucks hard into the buffers.But,The buffers weren’t secured.The silly trucks were sunk.That night,The tucks were hoisted out of the water.But,The clay was lost.Sir Tophom Hatt was very cross.

“Everything was fine until you came along.I shall not be inviting you bak until I can trust you again.”He said sternly.Dissel just laughed.

“Oh well.We had fun.Until we meet again.”And he puffed away to the diesel works.

“Guess that’s the last of him.”Said Thomas.

“For now.”Said Twilight.”He’ll be back with more dirty tricks.”
