It was a splendid day on the narrow gauge railway.Duncan and Yona were taking some empty trucks to the quarry.

“We almost there.”Said Yona.

“I agree.”Said Duncan.Just then,Yona spotted a glow from the cave.She jumped out of Duncan’s a band set off to investigate.Duncan didn’t know that Yona jumped out.Yona slowly crawled into the cave.It was very dark.

“Yona can’t see anything.”She shivered.Then,She saw a glowing crystal.She tried to touch it.Suddenly,The crystal shocked her with magic and shot her back.”What happened?”She looked at herself and gasped.She was now a pony!Meanwhile,Duncan arrived at the quarry.Soon,His trucks were loaded at the top of the slope.But,As they went back down,The trucks surged forward and snapped the cable.

“On!On!Faster!Faster!”They giggled.

“Oh no!”Cried Duncan and he raced after the trucks.Yona walked out of the cave still in shock.

“Why Yona a pony?”She asked scared.Suddenly,Duncan and the trucks sped by.Duncan was going so fast,He didn’t notice Yona.But,Yona noticed Duncan.”Yona must help Duncan!”And she ran after the trucks.Duncan caught up to the trucks and buffered up.He tried to brake.But,Without a driver,Duncan couldn’t stop.The trucks were going too fast.Suddenly,He saw Sandbar and Skarloey puffing on the same track.

“Look out!”Shouted Duncan.Luckily,The points changed and Duncan slid onto an old track.Yona ran by Sandbar and Skarloey.They were surprised.

“Yona must help Duncan!”She said in her head.Then,There was trouble.The track Duncan was on was blocked by a barrier.Duncan smashed through and was heading for a cliff!Yona ran faster.

“Yona!?”Gasped Duncan.He was surprised to see her as a pony.She jumped into Duncan’s cab and applied the brakes.But,They were still going too fast.Then,Yona came up with an idea.She jumped out and ran further ahead of Duncan.She stopped and waited.When Duncan approached,She pushed with all her strength.At last,They stopped just in time before going off the cliff.

“Thank you,Yona.”Said Duncan.Back at the yards,She told the others all about what happened in the cave.

“I see.”Said Sandbar.”So,Thats what happened.”

“Yona may have pony body.But,Yona still have yak strength and mind.”Said Yona bravely.

“Of course,You do.”Said Duncan.
