Prologue - Not What We Hope

Rainbow Dash was speeding through the air, like she did on most days. She enjoyed the wind going through her mane, she enjoyed the adrenaline from going so fast, she enjoyed just about every aspect there was for flying.

"This is great," Rainbow Dash said. "I don't have any more weather patrol, might as well to take some nap and-" She was cut off, by the familiar voice of Twilight.

"Rainbow Dash!" She shouted, causing Rainbow to put on her brakes, nearly causing her to crash in a cloud. She looked down at Twilight, with an annoyed look.

"What is it Twilight? This better be important!" Rainbow said, flying down to where Twilight was.

"It is, Rainbow. Do you remember that time I had to travel through a mirror, to go get my crown from the human world?" Twilight asked. Rainbow did remember that, she even remembered when Twilight said, 'hands' and she had no idea what it meant.

"Um.... yes, why do you ask?" Rainbow asked, with a curious look.

"Well," Twilight pulled out what seemed to be a piece of paper. "This spell lets us go to another human world like that one, except this one is different in many ways." Rainbow went into thought.

"So..... you are going to another version of the world you went to?" Rainbow asked, rubbing the back of her head in confusion. Twilight nodded.

"Yes, but in order for it to work, we need six ponies or more..." Twilight's voice trailed off, not really wanting to be rude to Rainbow. She, however caught onto this, and smiled.

"Sure, I would love to go with you to this, weird human world." Rainbow Dash put her hoof to her chin in thought. "I wonder what it will be like to be a human..."

"In this world, you don't get changed into a human when you go through, you stay pony, I think." Twilight said.

"Awww, oh well, still I would like to go." Rainbow said. Twilight giggled at her response.

"Great! We just need our other friends for this to work." Twilight said, and Rainbow nodded.

"Well then, let's get......." Rainbow's voice trailed off, as she suddenly felt something was wrong. Something really bad, in fact.

"Rainbow? Are you okay?" Twilight asked, causing her to snap out of her little trance.

"Oh, yeah, I'm fine, just got a feeling about something, that's all." Rainbow said, with a smile. Twilight gave her a suspicious look, but soon shrugged it off, as it just because Rainbow was Rainbow.

"Alright, whatever you say." Twilight stated, as they left to find their other friends.

...

Rainbow Dash, along with her friends, were all gathered in a opened field. Each of them had a look of curiosity on their faces, except for Pinkie, she's been bouncing all the time when she mentioned about the human world they were about to enter.

"Umm... why am I here again?" Spike asked, looking at Twilight.

"I'm sure you're not mind if you come with us, Spike," she replied, "Besides, I know you'll come in hoofy if I need some advice."

Spike smiled at her gave her a nod. She nods back.

"So... this is the different world from Sunset's?" Applejack asked.

"Darling, how will we get to this, 'Human World' again?" Rarity asked. Twilight walked up to the fashionista, smiling as she does.

"All we have to do, is use this spell, and then we should be there, is everypony ready?" Twilight asked.

"Umm... is this... safe?" Fluttershy quietly asked.

"I'm sure it is, Fluttershy." Twilight looked to her friends and all gave her a nod of approval. "Alright, let's use the spell then." As she said this, her horn glowed with a bright purple light surrounded them, as they all turned into nothing but a white light, as they slowly vanished into thin air. What they don't know, is that something horrible is waiting for them... on Earth.

~

Twilight began to slowly woke up. She blinked her eyes several times, sat up and rubbed her head while letting out a groan.

"Ow, what happened?" After regaining her vision, she looked around the area she found herself in. She's inside a forest, no, they're inside a forest. She noticed all of her friends lay unconscious on the ground. She stood up and walked up to Rainbow.

"Rainbow?" She said as she shook the cyan pegasus. Rainbow let out a groan. "Rainbow? Can you hear me?" She asked again.

Rainbow slowly nodded but still lay on the ground. Twilight sighed in relief and trot to the others to wake them up. After a few minutes of waking up, all of her friends sat in place while rubbing their heads. Applejack was the one who spoke up.

"What in tarnation..." She looked at her surroundings and notice they're inside a forest, and so does everypony else.

"Where are we?" Rainbow asked.

"Forest," Rarity simply replied.

"It looks like Everfree to me." Fluttershy said.

"Who cares! Let's go!" Pinkie shouted to them while bouncing to a dirt path but immediately stopped by Twilight's magic.

"Hold it, Pinkie. We should stick together now. We don't know what's out there." Pinkie nodded vigorously with a big smile. With that, all of them followed the dirt path, hoping that they would get out of the forest.

After a few minutes of walking, they saw a light not far away from them. Spike was the one who gets excited first.

"Guys! I think there's the end!" He shouted while pointing his claw at the end of the road.

"Ah'll see if anything is clear," Applejack said as she trotted towards the light. The others soon followed her and stopped when they were at the edge of the forest. All of them were hiding in the bushes, just to be cautious for anything that might be a danger for them.

"Is that... humans?" Rainbow quietly asked while pointing a hoof to a group of humans. All of them turned their gaze to her direction and saw ten humans with grey uniform were talking to each other while holding something tightly in their hands. Behind them was some kind of a shack. A very small shack. Probably just fit in a room.

"They sure is," Spike replied with a smile and looked at Twilight. Who is also wearing a smile. "Come on. Let's go and meet them." He said impatiently.

Twilight nodded and walked out of the bush, along with her friends. All of them approached the talking soldiers and when they're close enough, Twilight took a deep breath before she spoke.

"Hello."

The humans turned their gaze to the ponies and left wide eyes.

"Zum Teufel?!" (What the heck?!) One of the soldiers said. All of them immediately pointed their weapons to the ponies, but confusion still plastered on their faces. The ponies backed away in fear as they saw this.

"Umm... we didn't mean any harm." Twilight tried to calm them down but it was no use. They all spoke to each other until all of them nodded their heads. The ponies couldn't tell what they were talking about because the language wasn't like they expect it to be.

One of the humans walked to them and quickly grabbed Twilight by her horn. She let out a gasp and then shout in pain as the human dragged her to the shack.

"Hey! What are you-" Rainbow was cut off when something hit the back of her head and immediately dropped to the ground.

"Rainbow!" Applejack was about to help but stopped when a human hug her tightly. "Let me go!" He didn't listen. Applejack was struggling until the human slammed her into a tree. Knocking her out of her consciousness.

Rarity was screaming when a soldier grabbed her by the horn and dragged her too to the shack.

"Rarity!" Spike shrieked but a soldier quickly lift him up and cupped his mouth with his hand. It only took a minute for the soldiers to dragged the ponies into the shack. Once the door opened, all of them get thrown inside and the soldiers quickly shut the door and locked it from outside. Rainbow manage to gain her composure and flew fast to the door in attempt to break it. But sadly, it didn't work, making her stumble backwards while panting heavily.

"What the buck was that?!" She screamed while rubbing her head. "If we able to get out of here, I'll buck their teeth down so bad!"

"Applejack?" Fluttershy suddenly said as she walked closer to the orange pony. They turned their gaze to Applejack and saw her lying on the floor, not moving a single inch.

"Applejack?!" Rainbow screamed as she trotted to her friend and shook her. "Applejack, can you hear me?!"

"Move aside, Rainbow." Twilight spoke up and sat on her haunches. Her horn glowed and beginning to scan her friend's body. She let out a sigh of relief as she found her friend didn't have any injury. "She's all right. She's just unconscious."

"What are we ever going to do?" Rarity asked, trembling in place. "These dust are keeping my coat dirty!" Twilight looked at the ground and sighed. She didn't expect this to happen. Heck, she didn't know anything about this world. All she wanted to do is to take her friends and show the new world. She's the one who responsible for this. She looked around and saw an oil lamp hanging in the middle of the room, providing a dimly lit to them.

"All right, let's just go back." She replied. All of her friends nodded vigorously. Twilight's horn began to glow purple and the light slowly got brighter and brighter. They closed their eyes and that's when all of them mouth agape. Twilight suddenly stumble backwards and crashed to a pile of books.

"Twilight?!" Spike shrieked as he run to her. Twilight let out a groan and sat on the pile while rubbing her horn.

"I'm okay, Spike." She replied.

"What happened?" Pinkie asked frantically.

"I don't... know..." Twilight replied, "My magic didn't work."

"Nonsense, darling, I could still levitate some objects." Rarity said as she levitate a book with her magic. "See?"

"I know, but what I meant is that I couldn't use my magic to create the portal." The room was filled with heavy silence after hearing that words.

"So, what do we do now?" Rainbow was the one to break the silence. "We can't just sit here and do nothing!" Twilight looked at the pegasus with a sad look.

"We can't do anything, Rainbow." Rarity said. "Those humans are far more powerful than all of us." The room fell into another silence.

"This doesn't like what we expected at all." Spike said while crossing his arms. "I don't know these humans will be so cruel." Her friends nodded in agreement while Fluttershy still caressing Applejack's mane.

Twilight looked up at the ceiling and closed her eyes. "Who ever is out there... please... help us..."

Author's Notes:

Yep, this is the World War II story of mine that is requested from a friend. I'm still working the story of the crossover with Star Wars though. And some love side stories I had in mind.

Ambushed

The roar of a jeep fills the air while the three men inside do their best to stay alive. As the jeep crested the hill it caught a fair amount of air as it jumped the bump in the old dirt road. Coming down with a powerful thud, the three passengers jerk violently as the jeep began to regain control.

"DIE YOU KRAUT BASTARDS!!" Screamed the gunner as he opened fire with the massive Browning .50 BMG.

"WHERE THE HELL DID THEY COME FROM?!" Screamed the driver.

"JUST SHUT UP AND DRIVE!!" Ordered the passenger. And the passenger, is me.

As the jeep and panicking men race through the forest, Nazi troops begin to funnel out of the tree line. The only things we can rely on are the speed of the Willy's jeep, and the cover fire being provided by the gunner.

The three soldiers are as follows,

The driver, Corporal Wade Charles, a 21 year old from San Francisco, California. A college dropout, he decided to join the 101st Battalion, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment three days after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He started in Africa and has survived through everything, even the D-Day landing. The kid's smart and knows his way around a gun, hell, he's even the squad's best sharpshooter, he stole an M1903 scoped Springfield rifle from a dead trooper and has been using ever since. He's a crack shot at 550 yards.

Me, the passenger, Sergeant Daniel Parker, a 20 year old from Richmond, Virginia. I joined the 101st Division, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment in the early 1943. Yet I survived the D-Day too, I rose through the ranks and became a Sergeant just after the invasion of Sicily. I was a former wood worker and decided that I wanted to see the world. And this is what I get.

The gunner, Private First Class Cody Reed, same like Wade, a 21 year old from Deadwood, South Dakota; fortunately for him, he missed the D-Day landing by a day, but he was soon placed with his new squad. He's eager and gung-ho to fight, but been a new kid, he hasn't experienced combat like me and Wade does. But right now he's the only one that can keep us goddamn alive. As of right now, we have driven right into the heart of a fucking entire Nazi division.

"ARMORED CAR!!" Screamed Reed from behind me.

"LIGHT IT UP!!" I ordered while reloading my gun.

Reed immediately pointed the massive machine gun and unloaded on the Nazi armored car. Of course it wouldn't penetrate it, but we desperately fighting for our lives now. The massive vehicle retaliated by firing on us, but by some miracle, the German gunner missed every shot. Wade pressed on the gas trying to get every ounce of power out of the jeep. Bullets wiz over our heads, but by some miracle, we kept on going.

"FUCK!! FUCK!! FUCK!!" Reed screamed while shooting at the armored car.

"IN THE TREE LINE!!" Wade shouted. Then, multiple Nazi troops pour out and making a line in front of our jeep.

"I GOT 'EM!!" I shouted while shouldered my Thompson and fired at every soldier I could get in my sight. Honestly, I didn't rely on accuracy, I just shoot the living hell out of them to keep us alive. We continued to race down the old dirt road as the massive armored car still chasing and firing at us. We didn't know where the hell are we. But we know for sure, that we were miles from the nearest reinforcements and now were surrounded on all sides by Nazi soldiers. God help us.

"PANZER!!" Reed screamed as he looked at the massive tank.

The beast came out from the tree line right in front of us and blocking our path. His turret slowly turning to the jeep and we just watched as the gun pointed on us. Before I saw the tank, I could saw a small path into the forest on the right just a couple of meters away before the panzer. Without a second thought, my left hand took control of the steering wheel and quickly jerked it to the right. Wade wasn't expecting this, his hands move on it's own accord and just accepted the movement. Reed stopped firing while he leaned over to the machine gun in an attempt not to fall off of the vehicle.

"WATCH IT YOU SHITHEAD!!" He shouted to me as he went back to his original stance and started shooting again.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP AND KEEP SHOOTING!!" I shouted back. The panzer seemed not to notice this as it fired a single shell and hit the armored car that is still chasing behind us. Making it explode and stopped the pursuit.

"WHOOO HOOO!!" Wade shouted in glee as he looked back. But the cheer soon died as we swarmed by another rain of bullets.

I could hear Reed grumbled something while he continued to swivel the machine gun left and right. The massive .50 caliber rounds blew holes in the dirt path and any unfortunate trees, sending small pieces of branches in all directions. Those that connected with bodies tore through the flesh, thus bringing the attacker to their knees, and ultimately… the ground.

The jeep continue to run with it's maximum speed as now the panzer behind us, cutting down the trees that are on it's way and continue to shoot us with it's machine gun. I reload my gun as quickly as I could and continue to shoot to anywhere I could predict the enemies were. The dirt road is coming to an end, we could saw it right in front of us. All it's left is a bush.

"SHIT!! WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TRACK!!" Wade shouted while Reed continued to fire at the tank.

"JUST GO THROUGH IT!!" I shouted back while looking behind. The Nazi still shooting at us while Reed fought all of the troops. Even the panzer itself.

"FUCK!!" Reed shrieked, "YA BETTER KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!"

"HOLD ON!!" Wade shouted, getting both me and Reed's attention. When I looked back to the front, we were going to go through the massive bush.

"THE HELL DUDE?!" I shouted while gripping the door and my Thompson tightly.

"REED, YA BETTER HOLD ON TO SOMETHING!!" Wade shouted again.

Grabbing his M1 Garand, Reed immediately ducked down and hold on for dear life. The jeep then went through the bush and the inevitable happened. Behind it, there's a slope. With the lack of trees and bushes but still, the track is bumpy and uncomfortable and we were running down the slope. Dang, how I missed asphalt so much.

"SHIT!!" Reed shrieked from behind us. The jeep bumped here and there while we were just driving forward and let the slope lead us to it's destination. Forest. We saw another forest in front of us. Great.

"DUDE!! WATCH OUT!!" I shouted while pointing at a huge trunk laying on the ground. Wade though, didn't see this and he had no time to react. Our right front tire then hit the massive trunk, sending us flying to the air. The jeep flew four feet from the ground and when it hit the ground, the three of us got thrown off from the vehicle and now were rolling until the end of the slope, along with the jeep. We rolled and rolled until I stopped when the back of my head hit against a tree trunk. That's when my vision blacked out.

~

"Parker?"

"Shit! He's not waking up!"

"He's breathing dammit! Parker, can you hear me?"

"Dammit! Parker, can you hear us?!"

"INCOMING!!"

I groaned as I started to regain my vision. My eyes are blurry and all of my body is in pain. I felt myself being dragged and heard explosions everywhere.

"THEY GOT US ZEROED IN!!" I heard Reed shrieked from behind me. He must've dragged me. "THOSE BASTARDS WON'T LET US ESCAPE!!"

"KRAUTS INCOMING!!" Wade shouted. Then, I heard lots of gun fire in front of me. I held my head and let out another groan. I tried my best to regain my vision. I stretched out my hands to try to reach my Thompson and I did it. When I grabbed it, I put it on my lap and tried my best to returning my composure.

"DAMMIT, SARGE!! GET UP!!" Reed shouted to my ear. I winced and immediately covered my left ear. After my vision's clear, I saw the Nazi troops shooting at us while Wade tried his best to hold them. "COME ON!!" Reed shouted again. "GET UP, GET UP, GET UP!!" He helped me to get into my feet as I leaned on his shoulder for balance. "WE GOTTA RUN!! WADE COME ON!! GET THE FUCK OUTTA THERE!!" I shook my head to clear my vision one last time and nod at Reed. Confirming him that I was okay. He let go of me and looked at Wade.

Wade looked back at us and nodded. He shoots until his last bullet and when the time comes to reloading, he immediately joined us and run from the enemies; deeper into the forest. Explosions causes the dirt to fly everywhere while trees fall after they got hit. I don't know how the hell we manage to survive that but we continue to run as fast as our feet could get. Another big explosion behind me caused me to stumble forward, but I quickly regain my balance and started to run again.

"SHIT!!" Reed shouted through the explosions. We run for what felt like eternity to us, but then the barrage suddenly stopped.

"Wait!" I stopped, followed by my other two friends. They turned their gaze to me.

"What is it?!" Reed replied, panting heavily.

"It stopped." I simply said as I looked to the sky.

Wade and Reed followed my gaze as they looked up. Yeah, the barrage did stop. Only the sound of chirping birds and rustling of the leaves that could be heard around us. Finally, so that means...

"Uh oh," I said, still looking up.

"What?" Wade asked and looked at me.

"If the barrage stopped... that means-" I couldn't finish my words as I heard talkings behind me. They weren't English, of course. We're still being chased by an entire Nazis. "We need to get out of here, now!" I whispered to them. They nod and we immediately run forward as quietly as possible. Leaving the German troops behind.

~

We don't know how long we've been walking in the forest. But we could see the sun was now setting on the horizon. The day will turn to it's dark mode soon. At least the Germans haven't find us, yet. Luckily for us, we found an old dirt path and we decided to follow it.

"Hey," Wade started, breaking the silence, "We're pretty fucked up back there."

"Well, we lost ten men already." I replied with a sigh.

"Damn those artilleries," Reed said, "If it weren't for them, they maybe still alive by now."

"Hey guys, I think the forest is about to end," Wade said as he pointed at a light in front of us.

Me and Reed looked forward and saw the dirt path going straight to the light. I smiled as I quicken my pace. The others followed with smiles on their faces too. But when we got closer, I stopped and raised my hand to a halt position. The three of us crouched down while gripping our weapons tight.

"Stay low," I whispered. They nod and we proceed moving forward. That's when I saw a small shack in front of us, with multiple Nazi soldiers on it's lawn were talking to each other. I looked back at the other two, who are wearing the same expression as I am. Serious, yet nervous at the same time.

"All right," I began, "We need to eliminate all of them."

"What? Are you nuts?" Wade almost shrieked at my order. "We're only three of us."

"And they were ten of them." Reed added as he counted all of them.

I sighed. "I know, but we need a place to stay and this is the only place we could find. I believe there's no one else lived at the end of this forest." They both paused for a moment. "So are you with me or not?"

Reed and Wade looked at each other before nodding.

"All right," Wade said as he looked back at me, "But I need to find a perfect spot for my sniper here."

"That should do it." I said as I pointed to a tree. But, instead of the ground, I pointed it at the top. Wade looked at me with confusion.

"Are you saying that I-"

"Don't lie to me," I said, "I know you're a good climber."

He sighed before nodding. "All right. But this better be work."

I nod. "I'm sure this will work. Besides, the signal is when you fire the first shot."

"Me?"

"Yeah, after that, me and Reed will get up from this bush and spray them with bullets."

"That's not a bad idea." Reed said.

"All right," I gripped my Thompson and looked at the grey soldiers, "Let's send these guys straight to hell."

With that, Wade immediately walked to the tree I told him to be and climbed it with ease. Me and Reed just watch in awe as he climbed the tree and sat on one of the branches within ten seconds.

"No wonder you like monkeys," teases Reed.

"Shut the fuck up." He replied sternly.

We both chuckle and looked back at our targets. All of them didn't seem to notice us. This is gonna be easy. I looked at Wade, who is looking through his scope and ready to take the first shot. I turned my gaze to Reed, who is gripping tightly his M1 Garand with a smirk on his face.

"They don't know what will come," he whispers.

"I know," I return the smirk and looked back at them. A few moments of waiting, finally Wade took the first shot.

BANG!

A helmet could be seen thrown off from the head of an unfortunate soldier. Blood spurts from his head as he quickly dropped to the ground. The other soldiers looked at their teammate, but before they could react, me and Reed suddenly appeared from the bush while pointing our gun at them. Without warning, we both fired relentlessly at the soldiers; whilst screaming. I could heard the marksman fired his sniper behind us and one by one all of them dropped to the ground.

"Cease fire!" I shouted as all the German soldiers were on the ground; didn't move. I walked closer to the dead bodies and crouched down to check the pulse. I got up as I'm sure they're all dead and looked back at Reed. "Let's get these bodies to the bushes. I don't want to get ambushed again by those Germans." He nod and quickly helped me carrying the dead. Wade came out from the tree line and immediately helped us with it. It only took a few minutes to hide them from sight of any passer-by.

"We should check the shack," Reed said as he and me threw a dead body, "I think it's not safe. Someone's probably hiding in there."

Wade let out a chuckle. "Reed, if they were in there, they should've come out when they heard the fight."

Reed grabbed his weapon and looked at the corporal. "Yeah, maybe you're right."

"All right folks," I said while clapping my hands, "Tomorrow morning, we'll be out of here and regroup with the others."

"And how are we suppose to know where they are?" Wade asked.

"That's why we'll be going at dawn."

Reed shrugged. "All right. Damn, I need to take some rest."

"Me too." I replied while walking back to the small shack, followed by my friends. Once we were at the door, I gripped my Thompson with my right hand while the other grabbing the doorknob. I took a deep breath before looking at the others, who are pointing their weapons towards the door.

"Watch my back."

Author's Notes:

Another chapter for this story! Gosh, gotta do more research about WW2.

First Contact

Twilight just sat down in the small shack. She was trying to figure a way out but too scared to fight against those humans. All of them had some things that seems kind of dangerous. More importantly, she didn't know what it is. So, she just have to wait until someone come and save them. Well, hopefully that 'someone' isn't that bad like those grey humans.

Rarity was cleaning a couch for her to lay down. The dust though, made her cough and complaint sometimes. Rainbow was hoovering all around the room. She would just break the window easily and escape with her friends, but too scared of those humans. She now knew what hand was. It was that thing that knocked her out in the first place. Applejack was sitting next to Twilight, rubbing her head sometimes and winced at the pain. Fluttershy was sleeping quietly at the floor. Pinkie though, didn't seem quite happy by this. She wanted to throw the humans a party before so the humans could see that they mean no harm. But Twilight knew it was fruitless; and they didn't even know their language. Spike was inspecting some books. The language though, he didn't understand. It's a funny thing for him. Twilight will always read books when she saw them. Especially if it's for research. But right now, she didn't seem to care. She was trying to figure a way out and walk away from those humans outside.

"Ugh... are we going to just sit here or what?" Rainbow said, breaking the silence.

"Rainbow, will ya calm down? Ah'm tryin' ta ease up mah pain here." Applejack said as she rubbed her head.

"You feeling better Applejack?" Twilight asked while looking at her friend. Applejack slightly nod.

"Don't worry, sugarcube. Ah'll be fine."

Twilight sighed and looked back to her hooves. All of her friends now must suffer like this and it was all because of her. She then looked around, trying to search another way out, but it was useless. The window could be easily opened but some planks were blocking it from outside. The door could've been burst by her magic, but then again, she's too afraid of those humans.

"I'm sorry girls," she began. All of her friends turned their gaze to her, all except Fluttershy, who is still asleep. "You have to come through this because of me."

"No need to sorry, Twilight," Rainbow said, hoovered to her friend and sat down next to her. "We've been through tough times together. I'm sure we find a way out."

"That's right," Applejack said, "Once the moon will rise, we get outta here and search for help."

"Well, darling. I for one don't want to interact with those humans anymore. I had enough with their rudeness." Rarity said.

"I guess not all of them are bad," Spike chimed in, "I mean, we know in our world there's a good pony and a bad pony. So, I believe if there's a bad human, there will be a good human too."

"Spike is right," Twilight nodded, "I'm sure not all humans are bad. Guess they were just freaked out. We're aliens to them."

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean they have to hurt us like that," Rainbow said, still upset with those humans.

"I know," Twilight replied, "But what I'm trying to say is-" She was cut off by a loud sound, which jumped the ponies from their position and immediately woke Fluttershy up from her dream.

"What was that?!" She shrieked as she looked around the room. The sound was getting louder and more sounds filled the room. It was loud enough until they have to shut their ears. Screaming, shouting and the loud noise echoes throughout the room.

Twilight looked at the pile of books, then to a table that is resting nearby.

"Quick! Everypony with me!" She shouted as she trotted to the pile. Her friends followed and Twilight's horn began to glow. She levitate the table and placed it next to the pile, along with other stuff and placed them like a barricade at the corner of the shack. "Hide here!"

They quickly hide behind it. All of them hugged together as one and tried their best to shut their ears. Closing their eyes, they're trembling in fear as the sound was getting louder and louder, along with the screaming and shouting of the humans. They stayed like that for awhile until the sound suddenly stopped. No one dares to look around, all of them still terrified of the things outside.

"We gotta get outta here!" Rainbow whispered as she released the hug. They finally separated from each other. Still shaking, Twilight peeked her head and looked at the door. She waited for a moment and perked her ears, trying to find a sound outside the shack but nothing. It was quiet. Very quiet.

She sighed and looked back at the others, who were still shaking in place. Even Rainbow was shaking too. "All right girls," Twilight whispered, "We don't know what's happening out there. I believe something bad happened outside. This is our advantage to-" She was cut off by the sound of the door suddenly burst opened. She immediately closed her mouth with her hooves and pupils turned to pinpricks.

"Dear Celestia, please save us." She whispered as a sound of hoofsteps coming closer. Pinkie dragged Twilight and her friends to a group hug. She still didn't know how the party pony did that but this wasn't the time to think of it. She was scared. They were scared. The sound is getting closer and no pony dare to look up. All of them shut their eyes and looked at the ground. It felt like eternity but then time seemes to stop when a deep voice with a language that's familiar to them spoke up.

"What the..."

~

"Watch my back." I said as I looked at my friends. Wade and Reed nod and pointed their weapons to the door. I nod back and turned my attention back to the front. I took a deep breath before slowly turned the doorknob. Locked. I groaned and took a step back. I raised my feet and kicked it open. Pointing my gun forward, I slowly walked inside. I looked around while my hands holding my Thompson tightly before I turned back to see my friends.

"Stay here." I whispered. They nod as I walked in to the old shack. Dust, dust everywhere. An oil lamp hanging in the middle of the room, providing me some light to see through the darkness. I could see an old couch sitting against the wall, a shelf with a broken mirror on it, a pile of dusty books and other stuffs at the corner of the shack, some...

Wait...

I looked back at the pile. It seems odd. Looks like someone just placed it on purpose to hide his form. I gave a suspicious look before slowly pointing my gun to it. Someone has to be behind it. I walked closer, and closer, and closer until I heard a whimpering sound. I stopped to hear it carefully and could definitely tell that it was a female voice. Well, if this place is haunted then it wasn't a surprise for me. I started to walk again, the voice is getting louder by each step I took.

I took a final step before I could see who is hiding behind it. That's when my brain goes haywire. I couldn't tell what it is, no... they. There were a bunch of them, hugging with each other and trembling in fear. My gun pointing at them, and my breath became faster.

"What the..." Is all I could say.

At first, I thought it's just some toys. But as I say that, all of their gazes turned towards me. I backed away a bit, still trying to process what was happening; also a little bit terrified. Their eyes are as big as a tennis ball, and... of course they're horses. Albeit, smaller. What makes me even more confused is that, they're colourful. Purple, orange, blue, pink, white, yellow. Fuck. Another one though, that's not a horse. It's a dragon. A small dragon, smaller than those horses; it had a light purple skin and green spikes on it's head until it's tail.

We looked at each other for a moment. I could see fear in their eyes, I thought maybe they won't do any harm. I slowly lowered my weapon and let out a sigh; until one of them spoke up.

"Hello."

My eyes widened and I immediately pointed my weapon to them. "The hell... you can... talk?"

"Hey, Sarge! Anything in there?" I heard Reed shouted outside.

"Give me a minute!" I shouted back and I heard a groan. My eyes still fixed on these creatures. I inspect them and I realized that they're not just ordinary horses. Some of them had wings, and some don't. One of them had a horn and the purple one had wings and horn. "What... are you?" I asked to them.

They hesitant at first but the purple one manage to answer. "Umm... we're... ponies..." Ponies. Now that makes sense as to why they are so small. I let out a sigh and lowered my weapon.

"Know what," I began, "I'm too tired to processing this thing and I would like to take some rest."

"Are you going to hurt us?" The purple one asked again with those big eyes of hers. I raised an eyebrow before letting a chuckle.

"Of course not. Why would I be? You don't seem to be dangerous to me."

"So," the dragon began. Making me startled a bit. "You're not gonna... hurt us?"

I simply shook my head.

"Hey, Sarge! Got anything in there?" I heard Reed shouted again from outside.

"Stay here." I said to them and turned around to meet the others. "This shack is clear, we can use it for a night and head to the others."

"All right. Me and Wade are gonna walk to a river. We heard the noise from here, you wanna come?"

"I think I'll pass. I wanna get some rest." I turned around and walked to the shack.

"All right." With that, both of my friends went to a river somewhere else.

I'll tell 'em when the time's right. I need to do this on my own first. I closed the door behind me and turned my attention back to the corner of the shack. They still behind it, probably too scared to see me. I walked to the corner and stopped when I could clearly see them. They still looking at me with those expression, fear. I reached out my hand and grabbed the table. Dragging it in front of the couch, I placed my Thompson on the table, as well as my helmet.

"You guys don't have to be afraid," I said as I chuckle, "I won't bite."

"You're... not like those humans outside?" The white one asked. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. The unicorn seemed to notice this. "I mean... the humans with grey... shirts?"

"Ohh... you mean those Germans?" I asked. They tilt their heads in confusion. And that's when I realize how stupid I am to ask that question. Of course they know nothing of this world. They're definitely not from Earth. "Those guys with grey uniform and helmet, and their language that you don't understand?" They nod in unison. "Yep, definitely the Krauts." I slumped back into the couch and cross my arms.

"Krauts?" The pink one asked as she walked closer to me. I sighed. These ponies have a lot to learn, so might as well to change the subject before we move on to the World War.

"Nevermind that," I said, "What did they do to you?"

"They just locked us in here like that!" The rainbow one, with wings nearly shouted. "I mean, we don't mean any harm."

I nod. "I can see that." Before they could rambling anything else, I decide to cut them off. "Where are you from anyway?"

"We're from Equestria," replied the purple one, "Planet Equis."

"Huh." Was all that I could say. I don't know anything about universe. Probably there were a lot more than them. "And how in the world you get here?"

"I manage to cast a spell to bring us to other... I mean, your world and here we are!" The purple one nearly shrieked.

I nodded. "Wait... you said... spell?"

"Yep."

"Magic?"

"Mmhmm." She nodded vigorously with a smile.

I tried to process what she's talking about. Magic? Does it even exist? Frankly, I don't really much care about that since I'm in the middle of a goddamn war. I sighed and sink myself more to the couch and closed my eyes. I really wish this was a dream. Ponies? Magic? Spell? Dragon? What the hell is going on here. I heard footsteps - hoofsteps in this case - coming closer to me. I opened my eyes to see all of them walking closer to me. Just then, some of my brain wanted me to befriend with them. So that's what I decided to do.

"Oh, how rude of me," I chuckle, "My name is Sergeant Daniel Parker. Parker for short."

"Parker?" The purple one asked, "That's a nice name."

I smiled at her. "It sure is. My mother gave me that name."

"Actually," the pink one started, with enthusiasm, "I like Daniel more than Parker."

I suddenly frowned. I never want to call by that name. It's because of my past. "Please," I started, "Don't call me by that name."

"But why?" The pink one asked again.

"It's complicated." I simply replied. The room then filled with silence as we just stared at each other again. "So," I began, "I haven't catch your name."

The purple one blinked. "Oh... right, sorry." She cleared her throat and then began to introduce. "My name is Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship."

"Princess?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Twilight is fine."

"Right, Twilight then?"

She nodded and looked at the blue one while pointing a hand... hoof. Gosh, I really need to get used to it. It's fucking weird, you know. "This is Rainbow Dash."

"Sup." She said as she extended a hoof to me. I almost shook it, but... the way it's cocked. That position. No fucking way I would've shake it. My own fist extends itself and without thinking any further, we brofist... brohoof? The fuck with that.

"This is Applejack," Twilight said as she pointed to an orange pony with cowboy hat on it.

She tipped her hat to me with a smile. "Howdy partner."

I returned the smile and nod.

"This is Pinkie Pie."

"Hiya!" The pink one jumped onto my lap and hugged me while burying her muzzle on my chest.

I chuckle and wrap my arms around her. "Hey there, Pinkie." Her poofy mane though, smells really sweet.

"This is Rarity."

"Nice to meet you darling."

"It's nice to meet you too, Rarity."

"This is Fluttershy."

The yellow one tried to hide her face behind her pink mane while looking at me with one of her eyes. "H-hey."

"Don't worry, Fluttershy," I said in attempt to calm her, "I'm not like those bad guys out there."

"She's always like that when meeting a new crea- friend," Rarity chuckle and put hoof on Fluttershy's shoulder.

"And this," Twilight said while looking at the dragon that is standing next to her, "This is Spike, my number one assistant."

"Nice to meet you Spike," I said.

He smiled and nod. I didn't realize that all of them are now sitting in front of me. All except Pinkie, who is still hugging me while looking at me with those big blue baby eyes and smile from ear to ear. It's fucking creepy though. I wanted to ask another question but a gun fire distracted my thoughts.

My eyes widened and quickly put Pinkie down to the floor and stood up. The ponies too began to stood up and looked at me with those fear expression. I grabbed my Thompson and put my helmet on my head, the ponies scoot closer to me without me noticing.

"What is that?" Twilight asked while pressing her body to my left leg. Screaming voices could be heard and that's when I realize.

"Must be Wade and Reed!" I nearly shouted. I was about to walk to the door but stopped when the ponies were now grouped hug with my legs. I sighed and knelt down. "It's all right, I'll be back."

"You will?" Twilight asked while looking at me.

I place my hand to her mane and stroke it gently. "I will. Don't worry. This is what I've been trained for."

She looked at me with worried face but nod anyway. I stood up and walked to the door and opened it. But before I closed it, I looked back and make sure they have my word. "Block the door with anything you could find in the room. I'll call for you if anything is clear." With that, I rushed to the battlefield while gritting my teeth. "Hold on there brothers. I'm coming."

Another chapter for this story. Sorry, it took me so long to make, you know gotta do your own stuff in life.

Riverside

"SHIT!!"

"TEN O'CLOCK!!"

"WADE!! GET DOWN!!"

"FUCK!!"

I rushed through the forest and onto the source of the gun fire and the shouting from my friends; along with the Germans could be heard screaming. I tripped through branches, run through bushes and hit some trees; making stumble but I continue forward to save my brothers. After minutes of running, I saw a river not far away in front of me. That's when I saw some grey silhouettes walking and running on the opposite side. As I arrived at the scenery, I raised my weapon and started to shoot at the soldiers. They seemed to panicked slightly but quickly aimed their guns to me and started to shoot back. I run and ducked to a nearby rock.

"Fucking Krauts." I mumble to myself as I adjust to a better position.

"Sarge!" I heard someone's calling my name to my right and when I turned to look at it, Reed was there with Wade was holding his left arm. "Get over here!" Reed shouted again.

I looked at the Germans before nodding to him. "COVER ME!!"

Reed nod and prepared himself to shoot. I took a deep breath before started to run to the others. Reed immediately came out from his hiding spot and quickly shoot at the Germans. I quickly slide down the dirt and hide behind the cover. Reed quickly hide too when he run out of his ammo.

"Shit!" He shrieked. I looked at him then to Wade. His left arm is bleeding and it has nothing to pressure it unless his hand.

"Jesus, Wade. What happened?" I said as I crawled to him and quickly put my hand on his. His blood quickly covered up my hand.

"Those Krauts better be paying for this," he replied, "I just wanted to get some water and suddenly those Germans came out of nowhere and ambushed us. I think it's probably from the gun fighting we had earlier. The water's clear though." He chuckle.

"You lucky son of a bitch."

"I know right?"

"Well, we need to clear 'em off. Shall we?" Reed said as he ducked when a bullet passed nearby.

"Hell yeah," I said with a grin. Then, I looked back to Wade. "You'll be all right?"

"I'll be fine," he replied calmly, "Just go and kick some asses for me, will ya."

I chuckle and pat his shoulder. "You got it."

He smiled at me as I backed away from him. Cocking my Thompson, I looked at Reed who is reloading at the moment. "Reed, I need you to run and take cover over there." I said as I pointed to a nearby trunk. He looked at the trunk, then me.

"You fucking kidding me, Sarge."

"No, I don't." I replied sternly. "You gotta do as I say, or else we all die here! We'll pinned 'em down from two sides!"

He looked at the trunk once more nervously. But then looked back at me and nod. "You better be right about this!"

"Trust me! I know what I'm doing!" I replied as I grip my Thompson and readied myself. Both of us nod and that's when Reed ran at full speed while I wad trying to get the Krauts to get their attention to me. I fired three bullets to each soldiers that is in my sight. Hopefully they got it good, but I don't know where the heck that bullets went. I just aim and shoot and reload all nearly at the same fucking time. I saw Reed sliding down and quickly ducked behind a large trunk.

"What should I do now?!" He shouted.

"Just hold them off!!" I shouted back while cocking my gun. I peeked out of my hiding spot and started to shoot again. Desperately this time. Because right now, the numbers of the Germans are countless. I couldn't tell they called a reinforcements or not, but hell they were a lot of them.

"We can't stay here anymore!" Reed shouted from his spot as he started to shooting again.

"I know!" I shouted back. "This river is big though, they won't cross it!"

"So, what are we waiting for!" Wade chimed in as he groaned from the sudden pain on his arm. "I'm bleeding here!"

"We gotta get outta here!!" I shouted as I being bombarded by tons of bullets. Gun fires could be heard everywhere and I'm pretty sure the ponies have blocked the door with any stuff they could find before I get back. Well, if I get back.

"On three?!" Reed asked while shooting with his Garand.

"Try one!" Wade shouted back. I quickly put my arm on his shoulder and helped him to his feet.

"REED!! GET OUTTA THERE!!" I shouted as I started to run. My left hand holding Wade while the other one gripping my weapon. Reed saw this and quickly run from his cover and followed us. Wade groaned from his pain but manage to run and kept his pace with me. "Don't worry, brother," I said while running and panting, "We're gonna make it. I'm sure we're gonna make it."

~

After blocking the door with lots of stuffs they could find, Twilight and her friends just sit around and wait for Parker to come back. They could still heard the screaming and loud noises from the forest. They began to think what might happen to him.

"Should we go look for him?" Rainbow asked, breaking the silence.

"No we can't. He want us to stay here." Twilight replied.

"Ah know, but we can't just sit here and wait," Applejack said, "He's probably in trouble right now."

"I know girls," Twilight said, "But he already told us to stay. I know he didn't want us to get hurt. And, we don't even know who he's fighting with."

"But why would he care about us though," Rarity chimed in, "I'm not trying to be rude, but didn't it seems... odd? He didn't even know us, and he didn't want us to get hurt?"

Twilight groaned. "Isn't it obvious? He's a nice stallion, of course."

Rarity put a hoof under her chin. "Hmm... I guess you're right."

"He's friendly." Fluttershy added.

"He's not a stallion, silly!" Pinkie said.

They continued on their rambling until they didn't notice that the gun fire has stopped. But Rainbow seemed to notice this and quickly made up her mind.

"I'm going out there and find him," Rainbow said, "With or without you."

"Ah'll go with Rainbow." Applejack added.

"Me too!" Pinkie shouted excitedly.

Twilight frowned and narrowed her eyes. "You girls-" A sudden knock from the door interrupts their conversation. They all looked at the door for a moment until a familiar voice called out.

"Twilight! Open the door! We got a wounded here!"

~

"DUCK!!" I shouted as I put Wade behind a large stone. The Germans continued on to firing at us. Even though, we already far enough from the river. Pinning us down, we forced to move from cover to cover.

"HOW THE HELL THEY CAN STILL FIRING AT US?!" Reed yelled next to me.

"HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO KNOW!!" I yelled back. I then looked at Wade, who is still holding his arm. "Come on! We need to get outta here and patch that wound!"

"All right!" Reed replied. I helped Wade once more to his feet and we continue to run. It felt like eternity while they were mercilessly shooting at us. Bullets flew past us but suddenly, the firing sound stopped; along with the bullets. I slow my pace and looked at the wounded soldier next to me. He is still clinging to my shoulder while panting.

"Is it over?" He asked.

"I guess so..." I replied while looking back. "Yeah, they stopped firing all right."

"We gotta go back and patch his wound." Reed said. I nod and we limply walked back to the shack.

The day is getting darker. I notice the sun looming on the horizon, mere minutes from setting. And it's starting to get freaking cold here. And a single thought ran through my mind. How the hell I would tell these folks about the ponies? Meh, I can handle it.

We finally arrived at the shack and stopped in front of the door. I have to make sure they do as I say, so I decide to push it open. Yep, it's blocked.

"Is it locked or blocked?" Reed asked. "Weren't you bust it open earlier?"

I simply nod my head and called out for the ponies. "Twilight! Open the door! We got a wounded here!"

"Twilight?" Wade asked. "Who the hell is Twilight?"

"They're friends." I replied.

"Friends?" Reed asked. "They? What the fuck are you talking about."

I was about to reply but was interrupted when we heard lots of crashing sounds behind the door. Finally, the door opened widely and stood the purple pony looking at me with a smile.

"You're back!" She shrieked as she jumped up to me and hugged me tight. I was taken aback by the sudden burst but manage to regain my composure and hugged her back with an arm. "I'm so happy to see you."

"Hey, we only know each other for like five minutes and you miss me already?" I said with a chuckle. "Told ya I will come back."

"Sarge?" Reed interrupted us. I put Twilight down and looked at the other two. Just as I thought, they were flabbergasted.

I chuckle as I looked at Wade. "We need to patch your wound. Fast." I then looked back to Twilight.

Just as I say that, I could feel Wade leaned his head to my shoulder and he felt heavier than ever. I looked back at him and notice that he's unconscious. Reed though, land flat on his ass. He took off his helmet and ran a hand through his hair.

"This is definitely not the reason why I joined the army." He groaned.

"Urgh..." Wade groaned. "Tell me that was a dream."

"Nope." I replied while patting Twilight's mane. "It's not a dream."

"Right." His eyes rolled back for the second time and left unconscious on my shoulder again. I sighed.

"I should've told them to hide first."

Interspecies Friendship

I walked in with Reed helped me carrying Wade into the shack. The ponies looked at us and saw the blood dripping from Wade's left arm.

"Oh dear." Rarity said while putting a hoof on her mouth.

"Put him down here." I ordered to Reed. Both of us lay down the wounded soldier and quickly inspects his wound.

"Got any bandages?" Reed asked.

"Who am I, a medic?" I said.

"Dang it."

"What happened to him?" Twilight suddenly asked right next to me. I sighed and looked at her.

"He got shot."

"Shot?" Rainbow asked while hoovering in the air. The ponies looked at Wade with worried looks. They seemed like haven't seen anything like this before.

"It's a long story," I said, "Right now I have to find something that could patch the wound." I stood up and looked around.

"I demand an explanation after this." Reed said as he stand up too. I nod at him and began to walk around the room. I walked over to the shelf and opened it. Dust quickly came out from it, making me cough several times and closes my nose and mouth. As my vision's clear, I notice some shirts were hanging in it.

"This should do it." I said as I grab the shirt out of its place.

"Ya sure about that?" Reed suddenly asked next to me. "It's dusty. Probably will infected the wound even worse."

"Why won't you keep the pressure on the wound, Private." I asked.

"Right... sorry." Reed quickly ran to Wade, who is still unconscious and press his hand to his arm. I looked at the shirt, then back to the shelf. Reed's right, there's no fucking way I can wrap this thing on his wound. Twilight seemed to notice my concern and quickly offered a help.

"I can handle it." Twilight said as she levitate the shirt from my hand. Me and Reed watched with wide eyes as she trotted off to the door and went outside; the shirt was floating in front of her.

"What was that?" Reed asked, still looking at the door.

"No idea." I replied.

"It's magic, darling." Rarity said.

"Magic?" Reed asked. I still have no idea how he could cope with this since I saw his expression at the first place.

"Here you go!" Twilight said as she walked in to the room with the shirt still floating with her. She then give me the shirt and I inspect it. No dust, it's clean. As if you're already bought from a store several minutes ago.

"How did you..."

"Magic." Reed simply said. I put the thoughts away from my mind and quickly tear up the shirt. I walked to Wade and quickly wrap his arm with the shirt. He winced at the pain but still remain asleep.

"All right," I said as I let out a sigh, "He's good. We just need to get back to the others so the medics will fix him."

"Aye aye." Reed replied.

"Reed, help me block the door." I said as I pulled a couch and placed it at the door. Blocking it.

"We should do night shift if we're gonna stay here for the night," Reed suggest, "Those gun fires will probably alert more of them and they will come and search for us."

"You take some rest, Private," I replied and sat on the couch, "I'm gonna do the night guard."

"Alone? Hell no, you're not doing it alone."

"You're my responsibility, Reed. All of you." I looked at the ponies. They seemed to be shocked at my statement. "It's my duty to keep you safe. To make sure you're going home in one piece."

Reed just stared at me as I stared back. He let out a sigh and slumped against the wall. "Sometimes, I just wish you'd take my advice."

"You know who I am." I chuckle.

"At least you're still the Parker I know." He chuckle not long enough as it replaced by a frown. "You still owe me an explanation about this." He looked at the ponies.

"All right," I said with a smile, "Private Cody Reed, meet these friends of mine." I pointed at them one by one while saying their names. "Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and that little dragon, is Spike."

They nod slightly at Reed, which is still confused. "They have names?" I nod. "Well, pleasure to meet you, I'm Private First Class Cody Reed. You can call me Reed."

Just then, we heard a groaning sound. I looked at Wade, he's now back to his consciousness. "Good to have you back, Corporal." I said with a chuckle.

"The fuck just happened?" He held his head with a hand but winced as he felt the pain coming from his arm.

"You just passed out when you heard some horses-" Reed was cut off by Twilight.

"Ponies."

"Right... sorry. You just passed out when you heard some ponies could spoke." He continued.

"Animals can't talk." He said as he sit up. But then, his eyes fixed on the ponies that's sitting around me.

"Howdy partner," Applejack tipped her hat.

Wade blinked his eyes, then looked at me. "Can you tell me about this?"

I sighed. "All right. Ponies, let me introduce you with..." And just like that, we all blend with one another pretty fast. Wade still can't cope up but Rainbow manage to calm him down. Poor guy, he really didn't believe the event that we're facing with.

It's not long enough for us to talk until I eventually yawned. I closed my mouth with a hand and looked outside from the window. It's dark, probably seven in the evening; no clock in the room though.

"All right," I said, getting their attention, "I think we can call it a night."

Reed shrugged but quickly lay down on his back and closed his eyes while crossing his arms. "Wake me up if there are any Krauts."

"I will." I replied. Wade quickly joined Reed as he lay down while facing the wall.

"Have we ever told you how awesome you are, Sarge?" He asked not looking at me.

"Dozens." I simply replied. I then looked at the ponies. All of them are trying to get into a comfortable position on the floor. It was rude of me for sitting on the couch all by myself, so I decide to join them on the floor. Placing my Thompson on my lap, I leaned against the wooden wall.

"Would be better if the light's off." Reed suddenly said, which I oblige. I stood up and reached the oil lamp and then I blew the fire off. The ponies let out a small whimper as the room gets suddenly dark.

"Don't worry ponies," I chuckle while walking back to my spot, "I'm here when you need me."

"Say what you want Sarge, you're gonna sleep anyway." Reed said sarcastically.

"Will you please just shut up and sleep already?" I asked, annoyed.

"I'll see you tomorrow then."

With that, the room fell into another silence. A blissful one. It wasn't cold in the room though, it's warm. So I don't have to wrap these ponies with blanket or whatever I could find in this room to keep them warm. I slumped back against the wall, and it's not long enough before I heard snoring noises. All of them must've been asleep. Especially the soldiers. We're all tired after running from those Germans from morning. I'm still curious about these ponies though. How the hell they would get back home? Are these guys my responsibility now? Are they gonna be here like... forever? So many thoughts ran through my mind. These ponies have no idea what they're dealing with. Hopefully they know about war so they could survive this easily. Also, how the heck am I gonna explain this to the General? And the Lieutenant? I saw Wade and Reed reaction, and I don't know how the hell they would react when they saw these ponies could talk. I just wish there were no arguments about this. I find them. Simple as that. They're my responsibility, and my platoon. If they want to. I wonder how's my platoon doing? We seperated when we got freaking bombarded by the artilleries. The Germans already know we're coming.

The dark room only makes my eyes more heavier. But I couldn't sleep now, I must stay on guard and hear if anything is outside. I'm just afraid those Krauts will be back. Gladly, only the singing of crickets could be heard. It's almost feels like we're in a mountain. With no war, no fight, no worry. I just hope that-

"Umm... excuse me, Parker?" Yep, other than that, I could heard some shivering noise. I looked at the sound and saw two big purple adorable eyes staring at me. Albeit, sleepy.

"Yeah Twilight?" I asked.

"I'm a little bit... cold..." She said with a yawn escaped from her mouth. I chuckle and put my weapon next to me.

"You can lay on my lap here if you want." I said. I couldn't help but curious about what these beings feels like. She hesitantly walked closer to me, but then crawls up onto my lap and curls like a cat. Damn, it's so adorable! I wrap her in my arms. My body heat seems to be working as she lets out a sigh of delight and closed her eyes. I put a hand and stroke it gently to her mane. It's incredibly soft.

"Parker?" She breaks me out of my thoughts, yet again.

"Yeah?"

"What is this?" She asked while pointing a hoof to my weapon. Though, I could barely see through the dark but still, the full moon provides the room some more light.

"It's a gun."

"A gun?"

"Yep," I looked at her, those adorable purple eyes met mine, "A gun, it's a weapon from which bullets or shell are fired through the metal tube." I pointed at the gun barrel. She looked at it while tilting her head.

"Why are you using this?"

Smart pony she is. "If we're being honest, we used it to kill something."

She gasped and quickly turned her attention back to me. "Why would you kill something?"

"The simple answer is, we are at war, Twilight."

I can tell this expression. Fear. She's looking at me as if I'm going to hurt her. Bad. "War? You're killing your own species? I thought you're a good person."

"It's all right. I'm not going to hurt you." I hugged her close even more.

"But why do you want a war?" Her voice is trembling.

"I don't," I replied, "Believe me Twilight, war isn't something that I want to see. I just did this because I had to do... and a part of me wants to see the world too. But this is what I get." I release the hug and looked at her straight in the eyes. "It seems like your world haven't fought in any war before?"

She shook her head. "No. Well... yes. But the war had over hundreds of years ago. We didn't have any war since then."

"So you didn't expect to see this coming."

She shook her head again. "I'm... scared..."

I smiled and put a hand under her chin. "Please... don't be afraid Twilight. I promise to keep you safe until you're able to get back home. No matter the risk is. If I had to die protecting you, then so be it. If that's the last thing I'm gonna do. I'll be always by your side when you're here. I'll protect you, and your friends."

She looked at me, I guess those fears have been washed away from her. "You promise?"

"I will." I hugged her close again, which she returned. "So does that means we're friends now, right?" I asked playfully.

She chuckles warmly. "Yeah..." Then, a yawn escaped from her mouth. I release the hug and put her back on my lap.

"You should get some sleep. Cause tomorrow's gonna be a long day. And don't worry, I'll be here when you wake up."

She chuckles again and rest her chin on my arm. I continue to stroke her mane until she falls asleep. I looked at the rest of the ponies. They all seemed to be in the land of dreams. They really don't know what will happen. They haven't experienced war yet. How will they survive this? I guess it depends on me. These folks are my responsibility. And I will do anything to keep them safe.

Tomorrow we'll get out of here and regroup with the others. I don't know what will the whole division would react though, but that doesn't matter to me. All it matters is that I have to keep them safe. No one will hurt them, no one will make fun of them. They have to pass this body first before doing it.

I looked up at the ceiling while letting out a sigh. "Lord, please give me more strength. For I am the new protector of these innocent little ponies." I looked back down to Twilight. Her breathing is steady and a smile plastered on her face. She seems in a wonderful dream. I smile, still stroking her soft mane. She's so cute when she's sleep. Reminds me of my cat back home.

"There's a lot of things that you need to know Twilight. I hope you'll be ready for what might come."

Going Back

"Mom? Is that you?"

"Mom... it's... c-cold."

"Where are you going?"

"Mom... please don't leave me here!"

"Mom, please! No!"

~

I jumped up from my slumber but it felt like something was pressing me against the floor. I groaned while rubbing my eyes.

"The hell?" I slowly opened my eyes and was greeted by the sight of a purple pony sleeping on my lap. "Oh yeah... it's her. Thank God I didn't wake her up. Damn... these nightmares are killing me." I looked around the room and notice that sunlight coming from outside and through the window. "Damn it, must've fall asleep."

"One of those nightmares again?" A voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked at the room and notice Reed has woken up and was leaning against the wall on the opposite side. "Must've been hard for you."

"How long have you been up?"

He shrugged. "Maybe two hours. Couldn't sleep and when I woke up, I saw you already asleep with that pony on your lap." He pointed to Twilight and I looked at her. I notice that my hand still resting on her mane. "She seemed to like you. Just look at that smile." I looked at her face and indeed, she is smiling. "Think you can handle them?"

I looked at Reed. He's looking at me with worried look. "I don't know... I don't even know that they're hungry or not."

"Horses eat hays right?"

"You sure are a farm boy. But these are ponies we're talking about."

"What's the difference?" Reed crossed his arms. "They looked like a horse to me. But smaller."

"Maybe they eat fruits?" I then continue to stroke Twilight's mane.

"Maybe..."

"Luckily for us, we're on the edge of a forest. Might as well to search for some foods for them to eat." I said.

"All right." Reed shrugged. Placing his helmet on his head and grabbing his gun, he stood up. I was about to do the same but stopped when I realized I wasn't going anywhere with Twilight sleeping on my lap. It took a moment for Reed to notice this and walked towards me. "You can stay here if you want. I can go by myself."

"You sure?" I can't be more worried. These are my mens, my platoon, my brother.

"Of course. Just give me the orders."

I looked at him for a moment before spoke up, "All right. Reed, I want you to look for some food we can eat while we're here."

"Will do, Sarge." With that, he moved the couch that is blocking the door and went outside. The room fell into another silence. I sighed and closed my eyes, trying to ease up my mind and listened to the birds chirping and singing.

I felt Twilight squirms a bit and I opened my eyes to see she was looking at me with sleepy eyes. She smiled as she saw my eyes.

"Morning, Parker."

I smiled back and run a hand through her mane. "Morning to you too, Twilight." She leaned onto my palm while letting out a hum. I could only chuckle at her behaviour. "Sleep well last night?"

"Yeah... thanks for keeping me warm though."

I nod. "My pleasure."

Wade suddenly yawned while stretching. Several pops came out from his back as he rubbed his left arm and looked around, still laying on the floor until his eyes meets mine. "You're not sleeping?" He asked.

"I slept a couple of hours." I said.

Twilight giggles cutely. "You don't have to do the night guard if you're tired."

I looked down at her. "Believe me, it's what I... I mean, we do."

Wade winced at his sudden pain and I quickly looked at him. "Still hurt, isn't it?" I asked.

He shook his head. "Nah, it's nothing. I've been through worse than this remember?"

I simply shook my head and let out a chuckle. "Hey, where's Reed?" He asked again while looking for the private.

"Oh, he's out looking for some food for these ponies to eat." I replied. Just as I say that, Twilight's stomach growled. I looked at her as she blushed and hide her face away from me. I laughed and ruffled her mane. "Seems someone is getting hungry."

She smiled sheepishly. "Yeah, I think I'm a little bit hungry."

"Don't worry. Reed is out looking for some foods you guys could eat. Say, you don't eat meat right?" She shook her head. "That's what I thought."

"Hey Sarge?" Wade asked, getting my attention.

"Yeah?"

"Are we taking these ponies back to base? I'm not sure what will whole division would react."

Instead of answering, I'm just looking at Wade. Worried look could be seen on his face, and same goes to mine. I leaned my head and looked up at the ceiling. Still, I had thought of this last night, but I don't know it'll be this difficult.

"Parker?" Twilight snapped me out of my thoughts as I looked at her. "You don't have to bring us there if you don't mind."

I blinked at her words and quickly react. "No, no. You're coming with me. Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you, or your friends." She smiled and nod.

"If that's okay with you. We'll come."

I smiled back and continue to stroke her mane. She leaned onto my palm and let out a delightful sigh while closing her eyes. Soon, her friends have waken up just in time when Reed suddenly burst through the door.

"Sarge! We got a situation!" He nearly shouted as he leaned on the door while panting. Twilight hopped off from my lap as I quickly stood up, same goes to Wade.

"What's wrong?"

"The Krauts. They're coming. I don't know how much, maybe dozens of them. They're probably looking for us. We need to get out of here right now!"

I ran to the table, placed my helmet on my head and quickly grabbed my gun. Seemed like all of the ponies scared cause they're trembling in place while looking at us. Well, all except for Rainbow. She's trying to hide her fears but for me, I could see it through her eyes. They're definitely not expecting what will come next. Killing and running are my only option in this situation, if we're meet some Germans on our way back.

"Come on," I said as I hurriedly walk to the door, "We need to get out of here."

"What's going on?" Applejack asked as she and her friends followed me.

"It'll be better if you don't look back. When I say run, just run. Reed, you take the front and lead us with Wade. I'll take care of our backs."

"You sure you can do this alone?" Reed asked while adjusting his rifle. I nod.

"Of course I can, farm boy." With that, all of us walked away from the shack and onto field. It has tall grass, trees could be seen here and there, but not much. The air is cooler than I thought.

"Reed?" I called out for the private. He quickly turned his head to me.

"What?"

"You find any foods for them?"

"Oh yeah." He snatch his backpack and pulled out some blueberries out of it. "Here you go. Nothing more I could find in that forest. But as soon as we get back to base, our foods are ready to served."

The ponies smiled and give him thanks as they picked the berries and eat it. After awhile of small talks and walks, I notice something on our right. I stopped and take a good look on it. Some silhouettes... grey... oh shit. This is bad. One of them pointed at us and started to shout.

I immediately took the act. "Everyone! RUN!!" I yelled at the group. They turned to face me but stopped when gun fires on our right. I looked at the Krauts and just as I thought, they're now firing at us while running after us.

"SHIT!!" Reed shouted as he looked at the ponies. "EVERYPONY ON ME! LET'S GO!!" The ponies nod and quickly followed Reed and Wade who are running in front of them.

"DON'T LOOK BACK!!" I shouted while giving them suppressing fire.

Author's Notes:

I know it's taking a long time for me to continue this. It's just that I'm not in a good condition. But hopefully, I will recover from this bastard though.

Welcome to Earth

"KEEP RUNNING!!" I yell at the top of my lungs as we are bombarded by bullets after bullets behind us. The Germans are chasing us with every power they had. Hell, they bring a halftrack to this one. "RAINBOW, DON'T FLY!!" I shout as I see Rainbow hoover slightly above the ground.

"WHY?!"

"BECAUSE YOU'LL DIE IF YOU DO THAT!!" Her eyes widen as I tell her. She immediately do as I say and start to gallop along with her friends.

"SIR! ANOTHER FOREST!" I see Reed shouts while pointing a finger to our front. And it is indeed another forest. Fuck it, let's just go through it.

"JUST GO! JUST GO!" I shout back. He nods and run faster to the tree line. I turn around to fire some bullets in attempt to make the soldiers to hide for cover. They immediately take their cover behind the halftrack who is shooting at me with it's MG42. Damn, that gun is bringing us hell. I then continue to run just in time to see Twilight trip over a trunk.

"For fuck sake." I mumble as I run towards her. She lets out a groan while I crouch down beside her. "Come on! We need to go!" Twilight is about to get up but kneel down back to the ground again.

"Ow... my leg hurts." She wince. I look back to see the Germans are getting closer in each second. I strap my gun around my shoulder and immediately wrap my arms around her.

"It's okay. I got you." I say as I lift her up and continue to run. She immediately burries her muzzle on my chest while trembling in fear. Reed and Wade are already inside the tree line and are now providing us some covering fire.

"COME ON!!" I say as I regroup with the others. "We gotta continue to run!" They nod vigorously as we run deeper into the forest.

~

"Stop, stop, stop." I say as I trying to catch my breath. Everyone too begin to collapse as they are breathing heavily. Reed and Wade lean against a tree. Both of them are panting hard. Me, on the other hand, just crouch down still having Twilight in my grasp. She curls like a ball while shutting her eyes close. "Twilight," I say to get her attention, "It's all right. It's safe now." I look back and it is quiet. Guess we lost them for now. I feel she's still shaking in my grasp, so I decide to comfort her. "Shh... it's okay. We're safe now, Twilight." She lets out a sigh as she look up at me.

"We are?" I nod with a smile. She jumps off from my grasp and quickly trot to her friends and give them a group hug. It only last a minute until one of them speaks up.

"What the hay is that?" Rainbow asks as she let go off the group.

"Darling, could you explain it to us?" Rarity chimes in, "Be honest, I can't stand to be inside this forest anymore."

I point my index finger up, signalling that I'm still catching my breath. "It's... it's the Krauts."

"Krauts?" Spike tilt his head.

"And what the hay is Krauts?" Applejack asks.

"Remember the humans that captured and locked you inside that shack?" I asks. All of them nod. "Well, that's the Krauts... or Germans as they were."

"Germans?" Twilight look up at me.

"They still have a lot to learn." Reed suddenly say as he walk over to me.

I sigh. "This might take awhile." I look at them, who are all wearing confuse expressions. "We'll explain all of it if we're able to get back to base. For now, we just gotta keep moving." I say while standing up.

Just then, a twig snap bring our attention. I immediately aim my weapon towards the direction that I heard, same goes to Reed. He stands next to me and in front of the ponies. Both of us have our breaths hold as we hear the sound of footsteps getting closer behind a bush.

"Wait..." I whisper to Reed as I realise something, "I think it's not a person."

"You kidding right?" Reed asks, tightening his grip around the weapon.

"No, I'm sure it's nothing. More like a horse to me."

"Some horses." Reed correct me as we hear another footsteps getting closer. The footsteps are getting closer as the bush now begin to shake.

What comes next, makes my heart stop beating for a couple of seconds; uhh, no I'm definitely sure our hearts stops beating. There, reveals a white horse, but with a horn and wings; also it's hair flowing elegantly, as if breeze were brushing through it. It's taller than me and Reed or any person I assume, about two or three centimetres. Then another one come, much shorter than the white one, but this one is dark blue. It has the same features like the other one. Flowing hair, wings, a horn. I glance at Reed, and see that he's making a silent, 'the fuck?'. What I didn't notice, is that they're smiling at us.

"Greetings my fellow humans." The white one say, making me and Reed take a step back. The voice is definitely a female.

"Who the hell are you?" I asks, still aiming my weapon. I then realise that if this horse can talk, Twilight must've known something. Before she could answer, I cut her off. "Wait," I lower my weapon, "You must be these ponies' friends right?" Me and Reed step aside, to reveal the ponies that are standing behind us.

"Please tell us you are." Reed says. Before anyone could speak, Twilight suddenly rush to them.

"Princess!" Twilight exclaims as she quickly hug them both. Me and Reed let out a relief sigh, knowing that these ponies are getting back home.

"Oh Twilight, I was so worried about you." The white one return the hug, same goes with the blue one.

"We thought that you're in danger." The blue one says. The other ponies too begin to hug their Princess.

"I'm so glad you're here." Twilight says as she break the hug.

The white horse chuckle warmly. "As I too Twilight." I couldn't help but smile at the sight. Finally, these ponies are going back home. To their world, where no war exist at this time. To be honest, the thought of no war makes me jealous a bit.

Twilight trots over to me and then stand there while looking at the two horses. "Princess, I want you to introduce some friends of mine." She looks up at me. "This is Daniel Parker."

I respond with a single nod. The Princess nods back, still with a smile on her face.

"This is Cody Reed." Reed puts his right hand on his left chest and give them a bow.

Twilight continues on while pointing a hoof at Wade, who is resting against a tree. "And that's Wade Charles."

Wade nod slightly as he still holding his left arm. The Princess seems to notice this though.

"My, what happened to you?" She look at him with concern look.

"It's fine." Wade reply calmly.

"It's a long story," I add, "So, what's your name, Princess?"

"Oh how rude of me," the white clears her throat before she speaks, "My name is Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria. And this is my sister, Princess Luna. And we are from Planet Equis."

"Told ya they were aliens." Reed say while nudging my arm.

"They are living beings," I correct him, "Just like us."

"Princess? Is everything all right?" Another voice speaks up. But this one is a male, coming from behind the two sisters.

"They are no harm Shining Armor," Celestia speaks while looking from her shoulder, "You and Cadance may come out now."

Two horses... ponies I mean, come out from the bushes. One of them has a white coat and blue hair. From the colour, I guess this is the one who spoke up before. Another one, standing next to him, and it's same like Celestia, Luna and Twilight. Wings, and a horn, with pink coat and red, golden and pink hair.

"Twilight!" She exclaim. A female she is. Twilight jumps to her and hug her tight. Releasing the hug, both of them then do a weird dance while singing, "Sunshine sunshine ladybugs awake, clap their hooves and do a little shake." And then, they chuckle together. Must have one of their greetings or whatever it is.

"Twily." The other one that named Shining Armor says. He hug Twilight with a sigh coming from his mouth. "I'm glad you're fine."

"Me too," Twilight replies, releasing the hug, "You should thanks to my human friends though. They're the ones who saved us."

I couldn't help but chuckle at her statement. Shining then turn his head and look at me, smiling. "Thanks for taking care of my sis."

I nod. "My pleasure... wait... sister? You guys are siblings?" They both nod while Twilight is smiling from ear to ear. "Should've figure it out." I mumble. The pink one then walk towards me. After she does, she quickly give me a warm hug.

"Thank you for taking care of them." She says. What is her name again? Ah yes, Cadance. I assume she is a Princess too, cause like Twilight, Celestia and Luna, she had both wings and a horn.

I smile and return the hug. "It's all right. It's my duty to keep them safe though." After we break the hug, I look at Celestia. "So, this is a goodbye then?"

Celestia frowns suddenly and then look to her ponies. "I'm afraid we can't... yet."

"What?" Reed asks, shock, "Why?"

"Because some of our magic doesn't work here." Luna says while rolling her eyes.

"But," Celestia chimes in, "We need time to recover our force. I believe magic doesn't exist in this world, correct?" Me and Reed nod in unison. "Well then, we can still go back home. But it will take time to recover our magic."

"How long will it takes?" I asks. I just hope it won't long.

"I don't really know." Celestia replies. Her face turn to sad looks.

"Shit." I hear Reed mumble underneath his breath.

I sigh as I pinch the bridge of my nose. This isn't what I expect to be. Another group of ponies, in desperate need to go back home but it will take time to regain their magic. But they don't know when. Am I the one whose responsible here? Should I take them back to base? If don't then they'll be captured by the Germans, doing nasty experiments to them, worse, even kill them all.

"Well," I begin. All of them turn their heads to me. "Guess there's only one choice."

"And what is it?" Shining asks while raising an eyebrow.

"You guys are gonna-" I suddenly hear a voice coming from my right. I turn my head to see a German soldier walking in silence while turning his head from left to right. "Get down." I whisper as I crouch down, the others quickly follow my instructions.

"What? What's happening?" Applejack asks frantically.

"Keep quiet." I say as I adjust my weapon. I peek my head and see the soldier is walking towards us. My eyes widen and quickly conceal myself again. "Shit, there's a Kraut."

"They won't give up that easily." Reed says.

"What is going on?" Celestia asks firmly.

"Just stay quiet." I reply. I peek my head once again and see the German standing right in front of the bush while showing his back to me. I shock for a moment but quickly regain my composure. I put down my gun and pull out my bayonet.

"Human?" Luna asks while looking at my weapon in horror, "What are you thinking?" I didn't answer her, instead I quickly stand up, cup my hand on the soldier's mouth and stab him right on his heart. Making him silence in just a second. I then carefully lay him down in front of everybody and pull out the bayonet. Blood coming out from his chest and mouth. Placing my bayonet back to it's place, I grab my gun, stand up and look back at the ponies, who are wearing a shock look on their faces.

"You..." Celestia finally manage to speak, "You just... kill it?"

"You just kill your another human?!" Cadance exclaim, making Shining put a hoof around her shoulder while glaring at me.

"How could you?!" Luna shrieks, "I thought you're a good stallion!"

"If I didn't kill him, the he'll kill us." I say.

"Seriously? What the hay is that for?! He didn't try to kill us! He didn't even do nothing wrong!" Shining nearly lost his temper.

"Nothing?" I asks, making the ponies flinch slightly at my tone, "We're in the middle of a goddamn war here. He hasn't do nothing yet for you. But for me..." I look at the dead soldier. "He must've killed dozens of people out there. Heck, some of them must be our friends."

"War?" Rainbow asks. I turn my head to see her straight in the eye.

"Yes. We're in a war. Where humans kill another humans." The ponies gasp at this.

"Why would you want a war?" Rarity asks.

I sigh. "Listen, we'll talk about this after we arrive at our base. For now, let's just keep going." I then walk towards Wade and help him up to his feet.

"You okay?" I ask.

"I'm fine Sarge." He nods.

"Hopefully. Reed, I want you and Wade to take the lead." They both nod as they starting to walk again. I turn around to see the ponies are still sitting there, not moving. "You guys are gonna come with us or what?"

"We're not coming with you," Celestia firmly says, I could see tears beginning to form on the corner of her eyes, "You're a monster. And there's no way we'll be safe around you."

I sigh once more. "Listen, in war, everyone is a monster. We just fight because our lives are threatened. Our families are in danger. Yes, you can call me as a monster. I know it's tough for you to used to this. Believe it or not, I'll do anything to keep you safe and make sure all of you get back home in one piece." The ponies heads slowly raise to look at me. I smile to assures them that I'm mean it. "Even if I had to die, then I'll do it. Me and my men are always ready for a task." I start to walk away, leaving the baffled ponies behind.

~

Twilight's P.O.V.

I see him walking away from us. I still can't believe he would do such a thing. But then again, he's right. His world is at war.

"Twilight." Celestia's voice snaps me out of my thought.

"Yes, Princess?" I look up to see her.

"You sure he's safe? For us?"

I look back at Parker, who is still walking away from us. I don't know why but, if he's around me, I feel... safe. Comfortable. Even when I'm in his grasp, he felt very warm. "Yes," I say as I made up my mind, "I'm sure we'll be safe around him."

"But he just killed his own species," Shining says as he look at the dead human, "What makes you think that he's friendly Twilight?"

"I think he's awesome though." Rainbow suddenly says.

"Yeah, best of us if we just stick around 'em for awhile 'till the Princesses could bring us back home." Applejack says.

"Yeah, I think so too." Spike agrees.

"Me too!" Pinkie exclaim while bouncing on her spot. The Princesses look at us before nod.

"All right," Celestia says, "But we must be cautious with them. We don't know anything about this world, or whatever that they're hiding from us."

~

Parker's P.O.V.

As we walk deeper into the forest, I realise that the sun is now just above us. Damn, how long we've been running from those bastards. We all walk in complete silence. None of the ponies dare to speak. Guess they are still shock after what happened back there.

"Hey Sarge!" Reed suddenly say as he stops, followed by the group.

"What is it?" I say as I walk towards him.

"Look." He simply say while pointing his finger to the front. I look and see a road not far enough. I smile while sighing.

"Guess we're not lost after all." The three of us chuckle as we continue to walk to the road. As we manage to get a good view of the road, Wade eyes widen while smiling from ear to ear.

"Sarge? I think this is the road that leads us to the base." He say while looking from left to right.

"You sure about that?" I asks, a bit unsure of his statement. Cause there are like dozens of streets that looked exactly like this. Wade point to a single tree that's taller than the others.

"I recognise that one, and yeah. It's on the left side of the street if we're heading out."

"You better be right." I say as I walk out of the bush and onto the road. The others soon follows as we continue to walk down the road. "Stay sharp guys."

"I don't like this." Reed says while adjusting his weapon.

"Me too." I reply. I then look back at the ponies, who are walking silently behind us. I sigh and turn my gaze back to the front. "If you guys don't mind, I would like to cover our backs. Much safer that way."

There's a brief silence after I say that. After getting no response, I turn around to see Celestia is looking at me. She didn't smile like before, but nods her head. I return the nod and proceed my way to the back.

...

After the long and silence walk, we eventually arrive at our destination. Base. I let out a sigh of relief as I see the post coming into view. Two soldiers are standing with weapons on their hands while laughing with each other. As they see us, I could see their expressions change.

"Hold it right there!" One of the soldiers shrieks as he points his weapon to us. The ponies take a step back and I immediately do what I had to do.

"Hey! Hey! We're friendly!" I shout as I wave my hands to the soldiers, slowly walk to the front while Reed and Wade just stands between me and the ponies.

"Sergeant Parker?" One of them asks, slowly lowering his weapon.

"Yeah, it's me." I reply. The two soldiers then quickly walk towards us.

"Holy shit. So the news was right all along, you did went missing... for awhile." One of them chuckle.

"Yeah, me and my men got caught off with the main force and they pushed us out of the town." I look over at the other soldier and notice his mouth are hanging. "Uhh, dude? You all right?" He slowly raise his finger and points it at behind me. I turn around and see that he's pointing towards the ponies. I turn around and snap my fingers in front of his face to get his attention. "It's okay. They're friends of mine. I need to see Lieutenant Blake immediately. You know where he is?"

"What are those?" He asks, still trying to process what is happening.

"Hey, I'm asking you. Where is Lieutenant Blake?" I ask once more. He look at me and blink twice.

"He's in his tent... with General Graceland." He finally respond. I nod and pat him on the shoulder.

"Thanks buddy. Oh yeah, he needs to be patched up." I say as I point at Wade. "He got shot on his arm."

The soldiers nod as they walk to him and lead him to the medics. Reed walks past me while whispering, "We should be going. These soldiers are freaking me out." I look around and notice that the other soldiers are watching at us. At the ponies.

I shake my head and look at them. "What are you looking at?!" That seems to get their attention as they continue on with their things. I look back at the ponies and gesture them to walk. "Come on, we need to find a friend."

"Are you sure about this?" Celestia asks nervously.

"Listen, you trust me or not?" I simply ask. Celestia looks at me for a moment before nodding.

"You better be right." Shining says with a glare.

Me and Reed take the lead as we continue our way to Blake's tent. Along the way, the soldiers that are doing their things suddenly stop as they see us with the ponies on our backs. They have their eyes wide and talk to each other while looking at us.

I look from my shoulder to look at the ponies. "Stay calm, okay. I'll be here when you need me." Twilight closes her gap with me as I say this. I didn't really care, as long as she feels safe, then she could do it the entire goddamn time.

...

"All right. Here we are." I say as I look at the tent. "Stay here, I'll call you guys when I need you." I say to the ponies and Reed. They nod in unison. I take a deep breath before opening the curtain of the tent. "Lieutenant?" I call out and see that Blake is sitting around the table with the General, along with some soldiers inside.

"Sergeant Parker?" The voice I recognise as Lieutenant Blake replies.

"Yeah. It's me." I chuckle as Blake quickly rush to me.

"Damn it Parker, thought you were dead!" He punch me slightly on my shoulder.

"Pretty much." I shrug. "General. Hope I'm not interrupting anything."

"It's all right Sergeant," he says, "How did you survive out there though? Many soldiers thought that you were dead."

"It's a long story Sir."

General Graceland give me a single nod. "So, what brings you here?"

"If you don't mind Sir, I would like to ask some help." He nods again with a smile. I smile back. "All right, I just want to introduce some new friends of mine. And they need our help."

"And who could that be." Blake crosses his arms.

"Reed, bring them in." I order. Celestia walks in first, followed by Luna and the others, and the last is Reed. The soldiers in the tent have dumbfounded face as I see them one by one.

"The hell is this?" General Graceland says with wide eyes.

"General," I begin, "Let me introduce you to the ponies I've just met. This is Princess Celestia."

"Greetings." She says. The soldiers that are sitting immediately stands up and take a step back, even for Blake, but not the General, he's still sitting on his place but with wide eyes.

"Sergeant, what kind of madness is this? And how the hell they could talk?" Blake quickly asks.

"Listen, they're not from this world. And I would like your help to let them stay here until they manage to find their way back home." I explain.

"How long?" Blake says as he manage to control his breathing.

"I'm not sure how long," I reply, "But it will take time."

The General stands up while slamming both hands on the table. "What the hell are you thinking Sergeant?! You just let these aliens to stay here and eat all of our goddamn supplies?! Even our food isn't enough for all of the soldiers!"

The ponies are taken aback by the sudden burst as they take a few steps back; also their ears flattened against their heads as they hear the word 'alien'. Reed immediately stands in front of them. I narrow my eyes at the General. "They have names, General." I growl.

"I don't give a damn care!" He retort. "We can't just-"

"Dammit General, these are civilians we're talking about!" I nearly shout.

"DUTY! FIRST! SERGEANT!!"

"THEY ARE LIVING BEINGS TOO!! JUST LIKE US!!" That's when I lose my temper. I shout at the General, making him to shut his mouth. That's right, eat this shit. "They need shelter, food, water, everything to keep them alive." I pause for a moment to settle down. "They're my responsibility. I found them in the first place and they're scared shitless. They just got captured by the Nazis." I look at Blake. "Where the fuck is your humanity? We can't just abandoned people out there. Especially when they're not from our world. They know nothing. If they got caught by the Nazis, they're probably experimented, killed, or used them against us." I look back at the General. Still narrowing my eyes, I take a deep breath before speak again. "If you don't want to help. Then I can do it myself." I turn around to face the ponies, all of them had their mouths agape. "Come on, let's find you some food and water. Bet you're hungry."

I'm about to walk out of the tent when General's voice stops me. "Wait!" I turn around to face him. He's standing on his spot with crossed arms and sigh. "Look Sergeant. We can provide them shelter, food and water, just like what you wanted. But they can't stay here forever. You know we're moving all day. We're moving towards war. We're marching into the war. Like it or not, they have to go to war too. You sure your squad can handle that?"

I didn't answer it for a moment to think about it. After a moment, I finally make my decision. "Yes, General. Leave it to me."

"Parker..." Blake put a hand on my shoulder. "You're my second god damn it. We can't just bring them to war."

"We'll cross that bridge later." I simply say. Blake still putting his hand on my shoulder for a moment before releasing it.

"Then I'm counting this on you." I nod.

"Sergeant." Graceland speaks up.

"Yeah?" I say looking at him.

He smile and sit down again. "Good luck."

I smile and nod. With that, I gesture the ponies to go outside. "I'll catch up with you later." Blake's voice stops me. "Want to ask them some questions."

"They won't mind." I reply. I walk out of the tent to regroup with the others. I take off my helmet and run a hand through my hair while letting out a big sigh.

"Well, that was... something..." Reed says while chuckling.

"Hehe, yeah..." I reply, "I didn't expect to fight Graceland though."

"Thank you." Celestia finally speaks.

"For what?" I ask, putting my helmet back on.

"For your help."

I chuckle and wave my hand dismissively. "Nah, no need to thank me. Like I said, you all are going back home in one piece. And most importantly, together."

"So what are we gonna do now?" Reed asks. I look at him with a smile on my face, then back to the ponies.

"Ladies and gentlemen... welcome to Earth."

The News

"I bet the ocean is red right now, considering the amount of marines they're losing at Omaha, Sword, and Gold." I said as I crossed my arms while looking at Reed. We're all sitting in front of our tent. Not that I didn't want the ponies' company inside, but it was too small for us to budge into the tent. So we decided to just sit outside while the other soldiers looking at us with curious expressions. Not that I care, these ponies were more opened than I thought. They didn't give a damn care about other soldier's comments, once they knew who's friendly, they immediately called them friends.

These ponies were a lot more fun to hang out with. Especially Rainbow Dash and Applejack. I like Applejack's accent though. It's really cute hearing her said, 'consarn it' or 'horseapples'. Rainbow however, is friendlier than the rest of them, which I learned, she's the Element of Loyalty, even for a stranger like us, she didn't see us as a danger to her friends. When she already knew us, she instantly will do anything to keep us alive. But that's my duty for now. She won't be doing stupid act as long as she's under my command.

"How much?" Reed asked while inspecting his rifle.

"The last letter from my dad says that two thousand U.S. troops were killed, wounded or went missing at Omaha. Same goes for the British troops at Sword and Gold. But still, Omaha took the best fight."

"Your father is there too?" Cadance asked.

I sighed and lowered my head. "Yeah... but he's my step father though. He's a Colonel from one of the divisions in the marines. He was the one who inspired me to joining with the army."

"What happened to your real parents then?" Twilight asked next to me.

I sighed. "It's a long story. And I rather to keep it all myself."

"Hope he's okay." Shining said, his tone showed that he's really concern about my dad.

I give him a sad smile before nodding. "I hope so too."

"Sarge?" A voice interrupted our conversation. This is the third time soldiers went by and asking the ponies some questions. I let out an annoyed grunt and turned over to face the soldier.

"What is it?" I said as I looked at him. But when I saw him... no, them, my eyes widened. I quickly stood up as I inspect them. "Glenn? Andrew?" I said with a shock expression.

"Good to see you're alive." Glenn said with a chuckle. I smiled as I return the chuckle. These are my men too from my squad. We got seperated from the last ambush when we were heading towards a town that was supposed to be our assembling point.

"How are we still alive now it doesn't matter," Andrew said while adjusting his glasses, "We heard about these ponies that can talk and they're in our squad right?"

I nod as I step aside to let them sit on the group. To my surprise, both of them didn't shock like any other soldiers are. Instead, they immediately took a seat next to Reed while taking off their helmets.

Glenn then gave a slight punch to Reed's left shoulder. "You leave us when we need you."

Reed smirked. "If that wasn't because of the barrage I'll probably stick with you guys. Also, the convoy was seperated."

"How's the other soldiers doing?" I chimed in as I took a seat.

Andrew shook his head. "Not good. When you ordered us to regroup at base as soon as possible, we were in a group of nine men. But all of them were dead when we got ambushed by an MG emplacement. Until then, it's only four of us left that survived."

I sighed while running a hand through my hair. "Who's the other two?" I asked.

"Aaron and Steve are with the medics now Sir." Andrew replied.

"I told you I was twenty. Not thirty." I said with a smirk, didn't realize that the ponies were staring at me. "Jack didn't make it?"

Andrew shook his head. "No. You better not know about his death." I sighed again.

"We're sorry for your loss Sergeant." Celestia spoke up, her ears flattened against her head.

"No need to be sorry," Glenn said while placing his Garand on the side, "In war, a good soldier, kill his enemy without thinking them as a human being."

"Easier to talk rather than you do it," Reed retorted, "You remember when you begged Parker for letting one of those Germans to go?"

"Hey, I was just being a human all right. Not every soldier is a good soldier."

"That's enough gentlemen. I heard enough." I didn't want to recall the events from it. Better to change the subject. "You wanna introduce yourselves or what?"

"Sorry," Glenn replied, "Name's Glenn." He said while looking at the ponies.

"I'm Andrew." Andrew said with a smile. The ponies smiled back at them.

"It's nice to meet you Glenn, Andrew," Celestia spoke, "I'm Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria. And this is my sister, Princess Luna." Luna nodded at them, which they nod back. "And these..."

After knowing each other, we continued our conversation. The ponies were all curious about our world so I decided to tell them some stories that they might find it interesting. Well, for Twilight, everything is interesting. Especially when I explained about... well... everything. Yeah, she's a lot more like an egghead, just like Dash told me.

"Be honest," Glenn said to the Princesses, "It's weird how you and your magic can control the sun and the moon."

"Like we said, magic is a part of our lives in Equestria." Celestia simply said.

"So, it's like that... your life depends on it?" Andrew asked.

"Not really," Luna replied, "Not every magic is the part of ponies' life. For example, Earth Ponies are naturally strong. Without magic, they can still live properly." Andrew let out a silent 'oh'.

"Remember when you mentioned some of the city's names?" I asked, which the ponies nodded in agreement. "Well, it's funny considering our city names too are similar to yours. Such as Manehattan, to Manhattan, Neigh York and New York, Baltimare and Baltimore, Fillydelphia and Philadelphia and many more."

"Is it a coincidence?" Andrew asked.

"I have no idea." Reed replied.

Casual conversations then returned it's way once more, leaving us to laughed, teased one another. Until something that I didn't expect, happened.

"Sergeant Parker?" A voice called out from behind me as I was laughing with the ponies. I turned around and noticed that there, stood General Graceland, Lieutenant Blake and two marines stood behind them. Wait... marines? What the hell are they doing here?

Me and my squad quickly stood up before giving him a salute. "Stand down," Graceland said, "Parker, do you have a minute?"

"What is it Sir?" I asked while the others returned to their sitting position.

He sighed before looking at the marines behind him. "These soldiers are here to send you a message. And it's about Colonel Baker."

"Dad?" I raised an eyebrow.

Graceland looked at the marines before he spoke, "He's all yours now." He took a few steps back, letting the marines standing in front of me. There was a heavy silence between me, the marines, also the ponies behind me. None of them dare to speak as they tried to hear the news.

One of the soldiers cleared his throat. "Sergeant Parker. We've come here to tell you that... that..."

"That what?" I asked impatiently. Suddenly, I had a bad feeling about this.

"About your father," another one finally spoke up, "He was killed in action."

I could have sworn my heart stopped beating for a moment when I heard those words slipped from his mouth. I could hear some gasps from behind. Well, mostly the girls, not the soldiers. Hopefully, this is a dream. But the pain in my heart and both marines expression tells me otherwise. They looked at me with sad looks. Mostly mournfulness.

"It happened too fast... I'm sorry." One of them spoke up.

I nod as I sniffed and looked up at the sky. Letting out a big sigh, I looked back at them. "How... how did he die?"

They both looked at each other before one of them nod his head, signalling to just answer my question. The other marine looked back at me before spoke up, "Our... our squad was about to attack a town in order to secure the perimeter before we move straight into Paris. And then, it's just... happened. The point is, he saved my life from a sniper."

My only answer is another nod as I felt a tear running down my cheek. I was still hoping that this is all just a dream.

"He was a good man," one of them broke the silence, "He told us fun jokes, stories, and never once turned his back on the wounded soldiers." He then grabbed something from his pocket and handed it to me, still clenched.

I looked down and put my right hand under it. My assumption was right though, it was his dog tag when it was on my palm, and his ring. I inspect it with a smile on my face, clenched it, then looked at the soldiers in front of me.

"I'm glad you're with him." I said as I extended my hand to gave them a hand shake. They smiled to me and nod before we did it. "What's your name?" I asked still holding his hand.

"Private Hank, Sarge. And this is Private Russ." He said as he looked at his friend. I smiled with the best strength I had as I released our hands and put my dad's belongings into my pocket.

Graceland cleared his throat to get our attention. "I'm sorry about the news Sergeant. But luckily for you... you're going home."

My eyes widened while looking at Graceland. "Excuse me General?"

"You're going home, Sergeant. You don't have to be on the frontline anymore." He smiled. "Besides, your mom is waiting for you."

Yeah, my step mother. I looked to the ground and started to think. If I go home, then I can see her smile again, hear her laughter, eat her cooking, doing whatever mom and son always does. I love her, she's like the best mother I've ever had. But if I go, what about my men? Most importantly, these ponies. They still have a lot to learn and it was me who found them in the first place. Well, not just me of course but still, they will probably stick around with my men. No, I had to make my decision. I know it's tough, but this is what I meant to do.

"No," I said firmly, "I'm not going home." Graceland and Blake were taken aback by my answer.

"The hell Parker?" Blake spoke up, "You're going home and didn't have to be in war anymore. Don't you want to go home? Besides, you don't have to take care of these ponies."

I looked at him with flat face. "I hate to go home... I hate it. When I knew I had to leave. And they might never see me again." I sat down while lowering my head. A big sigh escaped from my mouth. "And these ponies... you know they're my responsibility Blake. They still have a lot to learn. And it was me who had to teach them."

"They still got your men." Blake responded.

"But my men needs me," I retorted, "Not just me, but you need me too." Still lowering my head, I waited him to reply.

It took a moment for Blake to respond it to me. Huh, guess that works. "Parker," Blake said, "This is Graceland's order. You can't-"

"Fuck off."

"Sorry?"

"I said. Fuck. Off." I said while gritting my teeth and clenching my fists.

I heard Blake's footsteps coming towards me. But I couldn't react when he suddenly grabbed my collar and get me up to my feet.

"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE PARKER!!" He shouted right in front of my face. Before I could retort, he released me and punched me right in the face, making me stumble backwards and land flat on my back. He immediately stood on top of me while grabbing my neck on one hand while the other hand ready to attack my face again.

"Say. That. Again." He said, which I gladly complied.

"Fuck. Off." I replied while glaring at him. His grip making me difficult to breathe.

He was about to deliver another death punch to me but stopped when he heard Graceland's voice. "Lieutenant, that's enough!" He almost shrieked. Blake looked back at the General.

"But General, he-"

"I said enough Blake! Get off from him!" Graceland ordered.

Blake sighed before looking back at me. He released my neck and stood up. I slowly followed Blake as I stood up while panting for air. Graceland looked at me as if he was searching or waiting for another word from me. He sighed when I just stood in silence.

"Listen kid, you know your mother is waiting for you back home right?" I simply nodded. "And you choose these ponies and your men instead of home?" I nodded again, assuring him that I wasn't going to change my mind. He paused for a moment before spoke up, "Well, I know how stubborn you are when it comes to a situation like this. All right. I can't force you to do what I want. I want you to do what you want. I want you to do the right thing. And if this is your decision, then I guess I can take that." He looked at Blake, who was wearing a shock expression on his face. "Like he said Lieutenant... fuck off. Dismissed." With that, Graceland walked away from us with his hands on his back. "You're a brave kid Sergeant, you know that?" He said again, not looking at me.

"Oh, I almost forgot." A marine snapped me out of my thoughts as he pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. "I believe this belongs to you." He handed me the letter, which I took it. The half of it was already covered in blood. I sighed again and looked at them while smiling.

"Again, thanks."

They both nod before going back to whatever they had to get here. Blake turned his gaze towards me with cold eyes.

"Sometimes, I wish I didn't meet you." With that, he turned and head towards his tent with Graceland. I sighed and felt a single tear ran down my cheek. I looked at the letter in my hand. Maybe I'll just read it later. I put it inside my pocket and sat down with the others while looking at the ground. None of them spoke, but Reed put a hand on my back and rub it.

"Why?" Celestia suddenly asked, making me looked at her.

"What?" I asked back.

"Why do you choose us instead of your family?"

I smiled warmly at her. "I won't leave my friends behind." The ponies were baffled by my answer.

"I know it's tough for you but... we'll be here when you need us." Reed said. Andrew and Glenn smiled and nod.

"You know you still have us, Sarge." Andrew said.

"You betcha." Glenn added. I simply chuckled at their antics.

"Imma get my water first." Reed said as he stood up and walked inside our tent. I then noticed my right hand began to trembling. I clenched it, but it still trembling. Knowing it won't stop until... I don't know when, so I decided to just leave it be.

"We're sorry for hearing that." Shining suddenly said, breaking the silence once more.

I shook my head. "No... there's nothing to be sorry about." I looked at the ponies with a sad smile. "Anything can happen in war." Celestia nodded solemnly.

"He must be happy to have a son like you." She said with a warm smile.

I then felt a hoof resting on my right shoulder. I looked to see who it was and noticed Twilight was looking at me with those adorable eyes. "If you need anything, just ask, okay?" She then extended her hoof to offer me a hug.

With it's own accord, my body just leaned onto her and wrapped my arms around her little form. I nearly cried when we hugged each other. I let out a sigh as I tried my best to hold the tears back from flowing down my cheeks. Though it's really hard for me to not cry at that moment, but somehow, I succeeded.

"Better?" Twilight asked as she nuzzled under my chin.

I didn't care what everyone saw or think, I just wanted to feel comfortable for a moment. So I put my head on hers and stroke her mane gently. "Yeah... thanks." I simply replied.

I just hold her tight with me. Feeling her warmth spread throughout my body really helped me to ease up the pain in my heart. My hand stopped shaking in an instant. I smiled and looked at the ponies, who were smiling at us; along with the other soldiers.

I released the hug and pat Twilight's mane. "You must be hungry. I'll go get some food for you guys to eat."

"They're ponies Sarge," Andrew said, "I'm sure they don't like meat." The ponies' eyes widened as he said that.

I chuckled and stood up. "I know. Luckily, I heard that we got a vegetarian meal around here." With that, I walked to find some food for these ponies to eat.

Another update for this story. Stay tuned for the next one guys!

The Adventure Begins

"That was unbelievably delicious." Celestia said with a smile.

"You think so?" I asked as I put my Bible on my bag.

"Mhmm." She hummed in delight, which making me laugh lightly.

The rest of the ponies too seemed to like the food that I've brought. Though, it took me a goddamn minutes to just argue with the soldier about our supplies. He didn't want to give our supplies to the ponies and let me tell you, I'll put my gun on his head if he didn't admit defeat when arguing with me back there.

"You got more of this?" Spike asked to me. Of course, not all of them were vegetarians, I just figured a dragon must be like meat. So I gave him my meal, which has a bacon in it.

"I'm glad you like it Spike," I replied while opening my tin can, "Sadly, I can't give you anymore of this until lunchtime arrives. We have to spare some of our foods for one day in order to survive." I gulped down some of my water.

"Ohh... okay..." Spike replied while lowering his head.

I chuckled and put a hand on his tiny shoulder. "Don't be sad Spike, I'm sure you'll understand."

"I know... but don't you hate this?" He asked again.

"Hate war?"

"Yeah... didn't you all hate to be suffering like this?" Everypony goes silent when he said that and turned their gaze to me.

I sighed and looked at him. "I admit it, I hate war Spike. But this is the thing I must do. Me and my men do this in order to keep our families alive. Even if we have to die, it doesn't matter. Cause what we know, is that we die in honour. We die because of reason. We die, because it's our choice. If we didn't fight, the Germans might take over the world and use us as their slaves. And you have no idea how horrible the POW camp they have."

"POW?" Twilight asked.

"What's that?" Rainbow chimed in.

"It is better if you have a look on yourself." I replied.

"It's a nightmare in real life." Andrew said as he chewed on his meal.

"Those Germans are really an asshole." Glenn said while drinking his water.

"So," I decided to change the topic, "Princess Celestia?"

"Celestia is fine." She said.

I nod. "Celestia, does Equestria have a war before?" Though, I already know from Twilight but it seemed that Celestia knew better than her. You know, because she's the ruler.

Heavy silence filled the air when I asked that before she replied. "Well, we did have a war hundreds of years ago. But me and my sister manage to-"

"Wait, wait, wait..." Reed cut her off, "You said that hundreds of years ago?" Celestia nodded. "And you said that, you and your sister manage to?"

"Control it." Luna replied.

Reed looked to me as I did the same. Both of us had the same expression, shocked and confused. And so did Andrew and Glenn. "You mean..." I began, "You were there when the war started?" The Princesses nod their head in unison.

"How can that possible?" Glenn asked. Looks like all of them have the same mind as I am.

"What do you mean?" Celestia asked as she tilt her head.

"I mean, you lived for over hundreds of years?" I asked again.

"Thousands of years to be precise." Celestia replied like it was nothing.

Me and my men stared at her with disbelief. The ponies snickered at our expression. I thought this was just some kind of pranks. But then again, these were aliens we're talking about. We didn't know how long they live. Or the planet they live in. And I don't want to blow up my brain just because I want my answers. Nope. Let's just ask some questions that's straight to the point.

"How old are you?" I asked, finally breaking the silence.

Celestia put a hoof under her chin. "Probably... thousands?" She said with a smirk.

I face palmed myself and sighed. "You can't even remember about your own age?"

"Because we have lived for so long." Luna replied. "We saw ponies died, and birth again. We already lost lots of our closest friends. So, when it comes like this, believe me, I feel the same way that you feel."

"But not for these ponies," Celestia looked at her little ponies, "They haven't experienced a lot of life like us."

"Oh yeah," I said as I realized something, "Cadance, Shining Armor, I heard you guys are the ruler on a kingdom named..."

"Crystal Empire." Cadance said.

I snapped my fingers. "Yeah. Just curious... is that Empire truly made of crystal?"

Cadance nod. "It is."

"And you won't believe what me and Twilight had gone through to save that Empire." Spike said while nudging my thigh.

"Was there a trouble?" I asked.

Twilight nod. "There is, and we, the Elements who were there to save the Empire."

"That sounds interesting, can I hear some of your stories then?"

"Of course!" Rainbow suddenly shrieked.

"Calm yer horses now Rainbow," Applejack said, "Let Twilight tell 'em 'bout it."

"Fine." Rainbow replied with a cute pout and crossing her hooves.

Twilight cleared her throat before she spoke up. "It started when we have a report about King Sombra's dark magic activity around the Crystal Empire."

"Sombra?" Glenn asked. "That's a badass name."

"He is indeed powerful," Celestia said, "In fact, he's the former ruler of Crystal Empire."

"You know what Twilight," I said, "Before we move on to your story, it's best if we know the history about Crystal Empire first."

Twilight clapped her hooves in joy. "Thought you never ask. All right... where do we start?"

It took her only about fifteen minutes to complete the story. From the history of Crystal Empire, until when the Elements saved the Empire from Sombra's dark magic.

"So Spike here is the one who almost killed by Sombra?" I asked when Twilight was done with her story.

"Not killed, darling," Rarity said, "King Sombra was about to grab the Crystal Heart from him when Cadance flew and quickly snatch Spike, along with the Crystal Heart at her hooves."

I rolled my eyes and looked at Spike. "Well, what can I say. You really are a hero."

"Not really." Spike rub the back of his head and smiled sheepishly.

"Much to his horror," Shining said, "He shatters to pieces in a flash of light, along with his crystals, and his smoke dissipates."

"So he got FUBAR then?" Reed asked with a chuckle.

I laughed, which made everypony confused. "Pretty much."

"What is FUBAR?" Twilight asked.

I looked at her with a smile. "You seemed to be very curious about our world didn't you Twi?" She smiled sheepishly and blushed for a moment while rubbing her hoof at the ground. "I'll tell you when we have a time to talk, all right?" She perked up and nodded vigorously.

Just then, Wade suddenly stood right behind Reed and playfully kicked him off. "Get outta my seat will ya."

"Ya back already?" Reed asked with a groan and move aside.

Wade shrugged as he took his seat. "Meh, the wound is fine and I heard that we're off to war in the next half an hour."

"Wow," I said, "Graceland didn't inform any of that to us."

"I know right, just heard from the others." Wade replied.

"All of us?" Glenn asked. Wade nod calmly. "What about Steve and Aaron?"

"Aaron didn't make it," Wade said with a sigh, "It's only Steve the medic right now. And he's struggling to survive." All of us lowered our heads. Neither of us spoke up, we were losing too much before the real operation towards Paris began.

"Sergeant," Celestia's voice made me to look at her, "I know it's tough for you to be like this. But you must stay strong. For the sake of your men here." She looked at my men, who was still lowering their heads. "I don't know much about you, but you have our support." I didn't know how to respond to that. I just smiled, nod and looked back at the ground and let the silence filled the air once more.

"You think I'm a good leader?" I suddenly asked, breaking the silence. The soldiers didn't respond as they just stared at me. "You think I failed?" I asked again.

"Parker, what do you mean?" Luna asked.

Reed blinked before spoke up, "Of course not! What makes you think that you are?"

"It's just..." I sighed. "It's just... I can't keep my men alive. Jack and Aaron already dead. Steve's with the medic. I fucked up didn't I? How am I-"

"Hey," Reed pat my shoulder to stop my rambling, "We all know anything could happen in war. If they die, none of it was your fault."

"Not my fault?" I laughed bitterly, making everypony flinched at my reaction. "They were my responsibility. You are my responsibility. All of you. And I just couldn't do one simple task. Just one simple task. And, that is keeping my men alive... and look at it now!" I raised my hands in the air. "I am a failure..."

"Sergeant!" Glenn shouted, making everypony jumped slightly from their seats. "Parker... just... ughh... you know it wasn't any of your fault! You already did the best! For all of us! For fuck sake, I'm not in the mood to talk about this right now but it seems you have bigger thoughts than I am. What the hell are you thinking?"

I managed to calm myself down. Damn it, what's got into me? I rubbed my face as I let out a frustrated groan. "I'm... I'm s-sorry," I spoke up, "Just had some thoughts in my mind."

"I know that Sarge," Glenn replied with a nod, "I understand you. But whatever it is, you should talk about it with your friends. Trust me, it'll make you feel better. You should get it off from your chest."

I shook my head. "No need. I'd rather to keep it myself."

"Good ol' Sergeant Parker." Wade said with a chuckle. "Wait... where's my gun?" He looked around for his weapon, but find nothing.

"Oh, you dropped it when we fought at the river. Remember when you got shot? I think the gun is still behind that cover where you screamed like a bitch." Reed replied matter-of-factly.

Wade looked at him before slumped back against the box behind him. "Great, now what am I suppose to do without my sniper."

"Grab it from another dead body I guess." Andrew said with a chuckle.

"That'll work." I replied sarcastically. "You still have your sidearms right?" Wade nod. "Well, at least that'll help you protect yourself until you find a better weapon to fight with."

Just then, a voice yelled behind us. "Everybody listen up!" Me and the soldiers quickly stood up and looked at Blake, who was crossing his arms. "We're heading towards Carentan in a couple of minutes. Get your equipment. I'll see you at the convoy." He looked at me, but with concern eyes. "I just hope you could handle this. Don't put on so much weight on your shoulder all right?"

"I will Lieutenant." I replied while adjusting my gun.

"One more thing," Blake said, "You prefer that Thompson or do you wanna switch with BAR?"

I paused for a moment to think. "Get me my BAR."

He chuckled and started to walk away. "I know you're that type of guy!"

"Lieutenant!" I called out. He then turned to face me. "What about Steve?"

Blake sighed. "He still needs some treatments. I'll find his replacement and we're good to go." He was about to walk away but stopped and turned his gaze towards me again. "Parker, you have a minute with me?"

"Sure." I said as I walked to him. As we both were sure that my men and the ponies wouldn't hear us, he sighed.

"Listen Parker, I'm sorry about earlier. Just got a lot of things in my mind." I nod and let him continue. "What I'm trying to say is, you sure about this?"

"About what?"

"Bringing them to war." He looked at the ponies with crossed arms. "I'm afraid they're just going to be a burden to us."

"Hey," I glared at him, "I'm the one who volunteered to keep them safe. To keep them alive from this madness that was started by that shit ass Hitler." He was about to speak but I won't let him do that. "No, my mind is made up. And I'm a hundred percent sure that these ponies won't be a burden to us. As long as they under my command, you have nothing to worry about. In fact, if you want to go F yourself then go on. I don't even care what you think Blake. You see this as a terrible idea, but not for me; and my men." I looked at Glenn, Andrew, Reed and Wade who were laughing with the ponies. "They too wanna help them. They want them safe. They want to make sure, that we're friendly." I looked back at him. "So if you don't like this, I may suggest you to go and pick another group to deal with. Cause I'm sure I can handle this by myself." I walked away from him while calming myself down. If I lost my temper, probably I would punch him right in the face as a gift from earlier with Graceland.

"Sergeant!" He called out. I stopped but didn't look at him. "I got your back buddy." With that, I heard him walk away.

"You better be." I said quietly.

As I regroup with the others, I put my helmet on and readied myself for the next battle. I looked at my men, who were preparing themselves too.

"You're leaving?" Celestia said.

I raised an eyebrow at her. "You mean, we." I correct her.

"We?" Luna asked, slightly confused.

"You guys didn't remember what Graceland's said back in the tent?" They shook their head. I sighed while putting my hands on my hips. "No wonder you don't remember your own age. All right, listen, you will come with us to go on the frontline." The ponies gasped but I continued. "Like it or not, you have to stick with me and my men. Do as I say, got it?"

"What if I don't?" Rainbow asked with a smirk and confident tone.

"Rainbow, you hear what he says." Rarity said.

I looked at Rainbow with a frown. "Look, you wanna die or not?" She remained silent after that. "That's what I thought. Let's get moving. We don't have much time."

"Is it safe for us to go?" Twilight asked with her ears flattened against her head.

I smiled and knelt down to meet her eye level. "It's gonna be all right Twilight. Didn't I promise you? I will do anything to keep all of you alive. To bring all of you back home, together. Don't worry, whenever you need me, I'll be right by your side. Okay?"

She seemed to relief a bit as she suddenly pulled me in for a hug. "Thank you." She quietly said as she nuzzled my cheek. I wrap my arms around her and cherished the moment.

"My pleasure Twilight." I replied. The moment must end as she released the hug and I stood up.

"You'll be a good guardian for my sister." Shining suddenly said while chuckling.

I shrugged. "Just doin' my duty here."

I looked back at the soldiers behind me, who were wearing a confident smile on their faces. "Let's open a path to Berlin, shall we?"

"Hell yeah!" Reed said as he shouldered his weapon.

"Let's take Carentan back to France." Glenn added as he started to walk to the main road. I gestured for the ponies to follow as I started to walk too.

~

As we all walked towards the convoy, where I assumed it must be in the same entrance, other soldiers were busy with their own business. Packing stuff, talking about the oncoming battle, writing letters to their families, friends, wife, girlfriend and many more. I looked around and they seemed to be just fine when the ponies walked with us. Not that they care, their minds must be focusing at Carentan. I walked next to the ponies while Reed took the lead. As I was whistling some songs that I knew back home, Reed started something that I really love for being an airborne.

He was just a rookie trooper and he surely shook with fright

The ponies' ears perked up when he started to sing. They looked at Reed, who was looking at me as he sang. I smiled from ear to ear as I started to sing along.

He checked off his equipment and made sure his pack was tight
He had to sit and listen to those awful engines roar

Glenn and Andrew then started to sing too with wide smiles.

"You like singing?" Pinkie asked. "I like singing!"

You ain't gonna jump no more...

Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
He ain't gonna jump no more...

The ponies were a bit shocked with the lyrics soon. We keep singing as we walked down the camp, getting attention to every soldiers that passed by.

'Is everybody happy?', cried the Sergeant looking up
Our hero feebly answered 'yes', and then they stood him up
He jumped into the icy blast his static line unhooked
And he ain't gonna jump no more...

Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
He ain't gonna jump no more...

We kept singing until some soldiers starting to sing along. Some of them even march behind us and headed to the convoy.

He counted long, he counted loud, he waited for the shock
He felt the wind, he felt the cold, he felt the awful drop
The silk from his reserves spilled out and wrapped around his legs
And he ain't gonna jump no more...

Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
He ain't gonna jump no more...

By this time, the entire camp were singing loudly with us as we walked down the main road, onto the entrance. The ponies too seemed to realized what was happening in the song as they listened carefully.

The risers swung around his neck, connectors cracked his dome
Suspension lines were tied in knots around his skinny bones
The canopy became his shroud; he hurtled to the ground
And he ain't gonna jump no more...

Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
He ain't gonna jump no more...

The days he'd lived and loved and laughed kept running through his mind
He thought about the girl back home, the one he'd left behind
He thought about the medic corps, and wondered what they'd find
And he ain't gonna jump no more...

Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
He ain't gonna jump no more...

The convoy now was in our sight as we kept singing. I could see Blake standing behind a truck while crossing his arms with a huge smile across his face. Though, not just a smile, he's singing with us too. I then noticed someone was standing next to him. Must be Steve's replacement.

The ambulance was on the spot, the jeeps were running wild
The medics jumped and screamed with glee, rolled up their sleeves and smiled
For he had been a week or more since last a 'chute had failed
And he ain't gonna jump no more...

Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
He ain't gonna jump no more...

As we reached the truck, Blake gave me the BAR as I gave him my Thompson and climbed onto the truck. We kept singing as we helped the ponies to get inside first. After closing the ramp, we sat down, still singing. Other soldiers too climbed up their own vehicles; tanks, trucks, anything as they kept on singing cheerfully.

He hit the ground the sound was 'SPLAT', his blood went spurting high
His comrades, they were heard to say a 'HELLUVA WAY TO DIE!'
He lay there, rolling 'round in the welter of his gore
And he ain't gonna jump no more...

Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
Gory gory what a helluva way to die
He ain't gonna jump no more...

The convoy rolled off from the camp and onto our next objective, Carentan. And we keep singing but slowly and solemnly, about half the speed of the other verses.

There was blood upon the risers, there were brains upon the chute...
Intestines were a-dangling from his paratroopers suit...
He was a mess, they picked him up, and poured him from his boots...
And he ain't gonna jump no more...

Gory gory what a helluva way to die...
Gory gory what a helluva way to die...
Gory gory what a helluva way to die...
He ain't gonna jump no more...

We laughed as we done with the song. Reed threw his arms around me as we both continue to laugh. Glenn and Andrew slapped their hands while Blake sitting on the edge of the truck with the Thompson on his lap.

"I'm glad I can lead you guys to the battlefield!" Blake said with a smile.

As the convoy rolled down the road, Celestia still looking at me with confused expression.

"What's wrong Your Highness?" I asked, snapped her out of her thoughts.

She blinked before respond, "Do you often sing like that?"

"It keeps our spirits up."

"And why were you smiling?" Cadance asked.

"Yeah dude," Spike chimed in, "I mean, not that I hate the song but... the lyrics... it's just... you know..."

I chuckled a bit before replied, "Didn't I already told you about it? The thing is, if we die, we'll die in honour."

I saw Twilight saw looking at the ground with blank expression. I reached my hand and grabbed her hoof. She jumped slightly at my touch and quickly turned her gaze to me. "Twilight, what's wrong?" I asked with concern voice.

She sighed. "This is the first time I go to war..."

I smiled warmly and starting to rub my thumb in circles to calm her down. "It's all right Twilight. I swear to God if those Nazis dare to laid a hand on you, I'll kick them to the moon." The ponies chuckled a bit as I tried to light the mood up.

Twilight put a hoof on her mouth and chuckle lightly, making her adorable at the same time. "I know you will." She said.

I snickered and slumped back on my seat. Before I could talk to any of my friends, Twilight spoke up.

"I'm a little bit tired." She said.

"We all tired Twilight." Rainbow said while rolling her eyes.

"You should take some rest now," I said, "I'll wake you guys up when we get to Carentan." The Elements nod before getting comfortable in their seats and sleep. But Pinkie, she didn't sleep.

"Pinkie, you're not gonna sleep?" I asked.

She shook her head. "Nope! In fact, I'm planning to make you guys a party when this war is over."

I chuckled at the pink party pony and ruffled her poofy mane, making her giggle at my reaction. "I'm sure this will over before Christmas... I guess..." I sighed and decided to talk with the Princesses until we arrived at Carentan.

Don't know why but I just need to add this song to the story. Hope you'll enjoy it!

The Letter

Author's Notes:

So, after taking some time to made up my mind, I finally concluded that I will make this story from all perspectives. From the first, second, and third person. I just have to know to use it when the time's right.

On going chapter: The Battle for Carentan.

"Hey, Fluttershy," I said while shaking the yellow pegasus gently, "It's time to wake up."

She squirmed a bit before opening her eyes and let out a yawn. "Are we there yet?" She asked quietly.

I smiled and stroke her mane. "We're almost there Shy. Better keep your guard up." She leaned onto my hand while letting out a hum. I chuckled. These ponies can be cute sometimes. After waking the rest of the ponies, I walked back to my seat just in time when Blake spoke up about the plan.

"All right ladies, listen up," Blake said as he stood up, "Carentan is just a few kilometres away. We're going to stop and wait until midnight. Our job is to guard the right flank along the upper Douve River and then, we force the bridges and capture high ground southwest of the town along the Périers highway to block withdrawal. Any questions?"

"Hill 30?" I asked.

"That's right." Blake nodded.

"Do we have any armour support?" Reed asked.

Blake shook his head as he sat down. "Sadly we don't. We're gonna have to do this by ourselves."

"Dang it." Andrew mumbled.

"I assume that the 327th GIR will be taking the left side?" Glenn asked. Blake only nodded in response. "Well, it's a double envelopment then."

Then, the truck came to a stop and the driver shouted from the front. "All right, this is it. Good luck on the battlefield boys!"

"Wait, you're not coming?" Rainbow asked while rubbing her eyes.

The driver shook his head. "Nope, had more jobs to do at base."

"Come on Rainbow." I said while gesturing her to follow.

"We're going to wait until midnight?!" Wade asked as he realized the conversation.

"That's right Corporal," Blake replied, "Now get your asses moving." I jumped off the truck with the ponies followed behind me. Other soldiers too began to disembarked from the vehicles and started to talk one another.

"Let's go over by that hill." Blake said as he pointed to a hill with trees and bushes that plenty enough to hide us from sight. "Some rest won't hurt."

~

"All right, Parker, Glenn, I need you guys to do reconnaissance." Blake said as he peeked his head from the bush to see the town."

"You said we're going to take some rest." I raised an eyebrow.

"Better to scout first before engaging the enemy line," Blake replied while looking at me, "Stick to your training, and you'll make it."

"You know I'm a Sergeant." I replied with a frown.

"All right, all right folks," Glenn said as he stood up, "Come on Sarge, Paris is waiting for us."

"Hell right." I was about to stood up when a hoof stopped me. A purple hoof rest on my thigh as I looked at Twilight.

"Let me come with you." She said with trembling voice.

"Twi, what the hay are ya thinkin'?" Applejack asked.

"This is their duty, not yours!" Rainbow said.

I sighed and knelt down. "Twilight, you don't have to if you're afraid."

She took a deep breath before spoke up, "I'm not afraid... I'm just... want to get used to this."

"Twilight, you can't."

"We're running out of time here." Blake suddenly said, which made glare at him.

"Could you please just shut the fuck up for a moment?" He shrugged as he looked at the town again. "Twilight..." I turned to look at her and was greeted by those adorable puppy dog eyes.

"Please..." She pleaded, her lower lip was trembling.

"If you don't mind, Princesses." I looked at Celestia, who smiled and nod.

"Please, take care of her." She said, but with an uncomfortable tone.

I nod as I stood up. "You know I will. Come on Twilight. Stay close to me." She nodded vigorously and quickly followed me and Glenn onto the river.

~

"I think that one house is definitely something." I said while pointing at one of the houses.

"I think so too, Sarge," Glenn replied, "I think you see what I'm seeing." He then looked at the sky. "It's almost dark, we should get back." He said as he looked back forward at the town. We're hiding behind a huge trunk on the high ground but the view is good enough for us to see half of the town.

I noticed my hands were trembling again. I sighed as I held it with my other hand, but to no avail.

"Are you okay?" Twilight suddenly asked, making me look at her.

"I'm fine, it was like this before we move on." I replied.

"I don't see any enemies." She said as she looked around.

"They're not on our sight yet," Glenn replied, "When midnight comes, they must've been prepared for what might come. Don't you see a black thing on that window over there Twilight?" He asked as he pointed at the house that me and him mentioned earlier.

Twilight immediately looked at it and focusing her eyes. "Yeah," she replied after awhile, "It seems weird though."

"It really is, cause that's a Pak 40 hiding inside." I said while looking at it. These Germans were seriously defending this town. "These Krauts haven't learned about sneaking huh?"

"Guess they were just too cocky about this." Glenn replied with a smirk.

"Pak 40?" Twilight asked.

"I'll tell you later Twi. For now, let's head back to the others." I said as I stood up. Glenn and Twilight followed me as we walked back to our friends.

~

"How's it going?" Blake said as he saw us approaching them.

I took my helmet off and let it slipped out of my hand as I sat down, my back against a tree. "A Pak 40 is located on one of the houses. Other than that, I assume they must've placed an MG emplacement now and then."

"They must have." Andrew said, sitting next to Applejack and Rarity.

"Spike can you breathe fire?" I asked, suddenly a plan came into my mind.

"Uhh... let me just..." He took a deep breath before letting a small green fire coming out from his mouth. "I don't think I can..." He said in embarrassment.

I pat his shoulder and gave him my support. "I think you can Spike. In fact, your fire is good enough to scared the living shit out of them."

"Really?" Spike asked, his eyes full of hope.

I chuckled and playfully punch him. "Of course you are. Tell you what, you're gonna be my second from now on."

Reed cleared his throat to get my attention. I looked at him and his face was telling to 'don't do it' expression. I raised an eyebrow, frowned and ignore him. "Is that a deal?"

"Deal." The little dragon said with confidence. I offered him a fist bump which he happily accepted. Twilight smiled at us when we laughed at each other.

"Hey new guy!" Wade called out Steve's replacement, who was standing behind a bush and looked up at the sky. He quickly turned his gaze towards Wade.

"Yeah?"

"Come here." Wade said as he waved his hand, gesturing him to come and have some talk. He walked slowly to us and sat down next to Blake.

"What's your name?" I asked, beginning the conversation.

"Matthew... Sir." He replied.

"Have you been through war before?" Reed asked. He shook his head.

"So this is your first time then?" Andrew asked while taking his glasses off and put it in his pocket.

"Yeah..." The medic replied nervously.

"All right, you're the most important part of our squad here," I said as I looked at him seriously, "Don't do anything stupid alone kay? We're gonna need you when we called out for you. You understand?"

"Yes Sarge." He replied.

"Where do you come from?" Glenn asked.

"West Virginia."

"Ahh, country road." Blake said while looking up at the sky.

As they continued to talk, I realized something. I quickly searched it in my pocket and when I found it, I pulled it out. It was the letter that my father gave to me. Blood still covering half of the letter though, let's just hope it won't be difficult to read it. I took one last look at the others and opened it.

Hey there kiddo,

I believe when this letter comes to you, then the inevitable must have happened. Remember the first time I brought you to my house when you're still at the orphanage? To be honest, it felt like yesterday. But the fact is it has been years since I first found you. Time sure flies fast right? Anyway, when I first saw you, I see a lot of potential inside you kid. You're a strong, dependable, stubborn, hard-working child I've ever met. Never doubt about yourself, and I won't let you do that. You're the one who brought back joy to my wife, your mother. She always loved you.

When we were seperated and gone to this fucking war, not a day goes by I don't think about you. I missed you so much. I always pray to God that you're alright and you're still doing your duty with the airborne. I wish that we could reunite together before Christmas and celebrate it with your mother, without thinking of this war. I already planned so much stuff we would do if we're able to get back. But it seems God tells you otherwise.

Win this war for me, for the sake of the whole world, for your friends. You gotta believe in yourself that you can and must do it. This is your destiny, Daniel. Keep praying, keep moving forward, keep shooting and keep giving hell to those Krauts. That will make you a badass person that everyone will remember in the history of this world war. Huh, that was anti-climactic isn't it?

You are my son, Daniel Parker. Even our blood isn't the same but who cares? I love you. Your mother loves you. We care about you. I just want you to know one thing. Remember this my son, I will be watching you, whispering advice in your ear and guide you from your heart, if you ever need me, just know that I am a part of you. Never forget your old man okay? Don't be sad, cause I'll be waiting for you up there until your time comes. I'm proud to call you as my son.

Love,

Your rival.

"Even at this time you're still joking?" I said quietly as tears starting to roll down my cheek. I fold the letter and put it back in my pocket.

"Parker?" Rainbow called out.

"Yeah?" I replied while wiping away my manly tears.

"Are you... crying?" I looked up at her and noticed that all of them are looking at me.

"Must because of that letter..." Reed said, "What's it say?"

"Why are you so curious about my stuff?" I asked with a glare.

"Jeez dude, I'm just jokin'." He chuckled. I groaned and slumped back against the tree. The breeze slowly put my mind at ease as I tried to remember the things I used to do with my father.

"Parker," Twilight put a hoof on my knee, breaking my thoughts, "You mind if I hug you?"

"What?" I asked quite surprised, "Why do you wanna hug me again?"

"You seemed to be needing one."

I sighed. "All right Twilight." This pony, why would she even care and always offered me a hug everytime I was in a rough time?

Twilight smiled warmly at me as she stood up. She proceed to climbed onto my lap and wrap her hooves around my neck... again. "You better give me an explanation on why in the world you like hugging me so much." I said while looking at Celestia who is trying to suppress her own laugh. Same goes for Rainbow as her eyes began to water. Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Spike didn't mind about it at all as they continue to talk with the other soldiers. "Damn you Celestia." As I say that, Celestia nearly burst out laughing.

"Shh..." Twilight hushed, "You better take some rest."

Damn ponies.

"This isn't the Twilight Sparkle I know." I retort. Luna too was holding her stomach and her mouth in order to not laugh the shit out of her.

"You haven't known anything about me yet." The purple alicorn said again while nuzzling my neck. I looked at Shining and Cadance, instead of laughing like the Princesses, both of them are smiling warmly at me.

"Fuck this..." I mumbled.

As the other soldiers continue to talk, I felt my eyes were heavier than before. Twilight's warmth gave me so much comfort until I felt my emotions flowing through it. So, with Twilight still hugging me, I slowly closed my eyes and decided to take some rest before we move onto Carentan. This is gonna be one heck of a battle.

The Battle for Carentan - Part 1

"Parker..."

Parker let out a groan as he tried to sleep again. But the voice called out for him again.

"Parker... it's time..."

Parker slowly opened his eyes and was greeted by the sight of the purple alicorn standing on his lap. "Parker..." Twilight said calmly.

"What is it?" He asked slightly annoyed.

"It's time we move in to Carentan."

Parker's eyes widened as he looked at his surroundings. It's not dark, in fact it's almost looks like dawn. The other soldiers were standing behind the bushes while looking at the town. Twilight hopped off from him as he stood up.

"Is it already began?" Parker asked while dusting himself.

"It's not midnight." Reed said with flat face.

"Not midnight? What do you mean?" Parker asked. He thought that the plan was to engage in midnight, so they could storm the enemies when they were asleep.

"Other paratroopers haven't arrived yet. So we thought that it would be better if we just wait until we have enough troops to storm the town." Andrew said.

"Is it enough now?" Parker asked again.

"It is Sergeant." Blake said as he walked to Parker and grab his shoulder. "Stick to the plan, and don't do anything all by yourself."

Parker nod at him as he shouldered his BAR. "Aight, let's do this." He said as he walked out of their spot. The others soon followed him.

~

As they walked down the road onto Carentan, more soldiers began to pour out from their resting spots and quickly joined them. All of them had serious look on their faces. Their gaze was just focused on one, and that is Carentan. Carentan is the objective where they had to capture in order to link up with the army from Omaha Beach. Like it or not, they must take it.

Parker noticed that Celestia looked very nervous about this. Her head lowered and her eyes just focused on the ground. "You all right Celestia?" He asked as he moved closer to her.

Celestia jumped slightly at his voice but quickly regain her composure. "I-I'm fine... thanks..."

Parker pulled out his can and handed to her. "Here, this'll make you feel better."

Celestia gladly accept it as she quickly drink the water. "Thank you." She said as she levitate the can to Parker again.

"I still remember the time when we're in war." Celestia began, making Parker to look at her.

"What happened?" He asked. Celestia didn't answer it when her mind was doing flashbacks of terrible scenes from the war. Parker put a hand on her shoulder and said, "If you don't wanna talk about it, then don't."

Celestia sighed as she looked forward. "It's just... memories about the past starting to come back. It's just like when we're at war with the Griffons."

"How many species are there in Equestria?" Parker asked.

"A lot." She simply replied. They continue to talk until they didn't realize that they're now entering Carentan.

"Still haven't gotten any weapon there Corporal?" Parker asked as he realized that Wade is walking with no guns. He glared at Parker, making him chuckle lightly.

"You know damn well we haven't fought yet," he replied, looking back to the front, "Besides, I would love to try those Kar98k Scoped they're using. I think it looks pretty cool."

"It is," Glenn replied, "But how would you provide the ammo? Grab it from it's owner?"

Wade shrugged as he continue to walk. "Pretty much."

"Everyone, keep your heads down." Blake whispered as he suddenly crouched. They quickly do what he says until Parker realized that there's a sign says 'Carentan'.

"We're here," he whispered and looked at the ponies behind him, "Stay close and always keep your heads low. Got it?" The ponies nod vigorously as they know what was going to happen next. They could see a house with broken windows in front of them.

Blake looked at his front and watch the silent town. It was very quiet. Like there's nothing there. But they know for sure that the Germans must be hiding in some places. They just have to make the move first in order to attract the wolves out of their den. Blake looked at Parker and nod.

"All right soldiers, let's go!" A soldier shouted from the front. All of them began to walk towards the town when suddenly, a sniper knock down a soldier next to Reed. Making him fall to the ground.

"SNIPER!!" Blake yelled. Just then, two MG 42 began to open fire at the soldiers. Bursting their bullets mercilessly at them.

"MG!! GET DOWN!!" Parker shouted as he dragged Twilight to a ditch that's on the sides of the road. The ponies followed, and soon the soldiers began to take cover as well as the machine gun fires it's rounds to them. Three soldiers already fell to the ground but one of them is holding his stomach and rolling in agony on his spot.

"YOU HAVE TO HELP HIM!!" Celestia shrieked as bullets flew above her. She couldn't bear to see the sight and want nothing other than help the poor soldier.

"HE'LL DIE ANYWAY!! JUST PUSH!!" Blake shouted back.

"BUT WE CAN'T JUST LEAVE HIM!!" Luna yelled.

Blake groaned in frustration as he looked at Parker. "I told you this was a bad fucking idea!"

Parker gritted his teeth and looked at the wounded soldier. "Just let me do it!" Without warning and before everyone could reply, he suddenly jumped out from the ditch and ran towards the lying soldier.

"FUCK!! COVERING FIRE!!" Blake yelled as he began to fire at the MG emplacement. The soldiers began to fire at the house and the MG quickly spread it's bullets everywhere. Parker crouched and fired at the MG to make sure they're taking cover first. He quickly grabbed the soldier and dragged him. All while he's magically avoid all of the bullets. Or the bullets didn't hit him.

Spike, the brave little dragon suddenly jumped out from his cover and ran to help Parker.

"SPIKE!!" Twilight yelled. She was about to catch him but stopped when Reed pulled her back to cover, just in time when a bullet nearly pierced through her head.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" Reed said as he hugged her, "YOU'RE GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED!!"

"BUT THEY WOULD GET KILLED TOO!!" Twilight retort. Reed was about to answer when Parker and Spike manage to drag the soldier into the ditch.

"MEDIC!!" Parker yelled as he put his hands on the wound while the soldier only coughing more blood. "I NEED A MEDIC OVER HERE!!"

"I GOT IT SARGE!!" Matthew replied as he ran to him. "Go, he'll be fine with me." Parker nod and quickly joined the others.

"What was that all about?!" Twilight rushed to him as she suddenly pulled him into a hug. Parker, who was caught off guard, could only wrap her in return.

"It's all right now." He said as he pat her back. Twilight pulled back and looked at him seriously.

"Don't you ever, do anything like that ever again. You hear me?" She said sternly.

Parker only nod in response when Reed yelled, "Hey you two! We're in the middle of a goddamn war here and now it's not the time for a romantic moment all right!" He started to shoot back at the house.

Twilight and Parker stared into each others eyes for a moment before releasing their grip. Twilight is blushing furiously, the same goes for Parker. He rub the back of his head while chuckling lightly.

Parker shook his head and decided to focus on the battle. "Sergeant! This way!" Someone called out. Parker looked at a soldier, who is waving at him and ran through the bushes across the road.

"Andrew, Glenn, on me! We gotta move and take out those machine guns!" Parker shouted as he makes his way to the bush. Glenn and Andrew quickly followed behind.

"GET THE BAZOOKA AND SHOOT THE GODDAMN BUILDING!!" Blake shouted as he crouched and fired at the Germans. "BRING THE MG AND FIRE AT THAT HOUSE!! MOVE!!"

~

Parker, Glenn and Andrew followed a group of soldiers to flank the MG. Unfortunately, there's only one way and it's not that far from the entrance. The soldier kicked the farm door open and quickly took a cover behind a cart.

"Move in, come on." Parker said as he made his way to the town. Just then, a loud bang could be heard through the air and a soldier fell down with blood coming out from his chest and mouth.

"WE GOT A SNIPER!!" Glenn yelled.

BANG!

Another soldier fell and the others quickly hide behind covers. Parker peeked his head out from his cover and saw the sniper on a balcony of a building. The sniper saw him and immediately fires. Parker pulled his head just in time when the bullet hit the wall.

"I see him. Second floor, balcony. Two o'clock from our position." He said.

"I'll run to that cart and someone give the living hell out of him." Andrew said as he braced himself for the run.

"I'll do it." Glenn replied. Parker and Glenn switch position as Glenn cocked his Garand and nod at Andrew.

"Go!" Parker ordered. Andrew quickly ran and slide down behind the cart. The sniper was unprepared for this as he missed the shot. Glenn walked out of his cover and aimed at the sniper. Second later, he shot and the sniper's helmet flew off from his head.

"He's down! Come-" The MG suddenly turned it's fire to them. Glenn immediately being dragged by Parker into cover as they were swarmed by the bullets.

"Dammit!!" Andrew shrieked as he trying to move into better position. "We're getting torn here!!"

"I know!!" Parker replied. "Use a grenade!!"

Andrew pulled out a grenade and cooked it. He peeked his head and with all of his might, he threw the grenade in hopes to go into the window and blew them. But the grenade bounced the wall and land in front of the MG.

"Shit!" He shrieked.

~

"Where are they going?!" Shining asked as he saw the Parker and his friends ran across the street and through the bushes.

"They must have found a way to flank them!" Reed replied as he fires at the house. The MG continue it's assault, pinning the soldiers down to the ground.

"WHERE'S THE GODDAMN MG!!" Blake shouted as he looked around.

"RIGHT HERE!!" A soldier replied as he prone and set up the Browning with his other friend.

"Second floor window! Right side!" Blake ordered as they finished. The Browning then started to fire relentlessly at the building. They successfully neutralised the enemy and switched to their next target. Just then the MG that is on the first floor turned it's attention to the left and fires at whatever it is behind the building.

"They must be firing at Parker!" Reed shouted as he stood up and climbed up from the ditch. "Come on! We gotta keep moving!"

"But how?!" Asks one of the soldiers. "We're in the open for Pete sake! If we get in the clearing, we'll die."

"Because that's who we are! We are men getting killed out here! NOW GO!!" Blake shouted as he followed Reed into the open.

"COME ON!!" Reed yelled once more before dragging the soldiers out of the ditch.

"You're gonna stick with me all right!" Wade said to the ponies. They could only shrink themselves as they nod. Fluttershy was the scariest one. Even Rainbow couldn't calm her down as she's just shaking in place, crying. Wade saw this and instinctively wrap his arms around her.

"Fluttershy. Shh... everything will be okay. You gotta trust me all right?" He pulled back so he could see her face. "You trust me?" She looked back at him as she nod. Wade smiled and pulled her into another hug.

Soon, the other soldiers began to follow Reed and Blake as they began to open fire at the MGs. A grenade exploded right in front of the house. Reed, seeing this as his only opportunity, ran with his full speed and slide down. When he leaned to the wall, he cooked a grenade and threw it in a window where the MG is firing at Parker. He covers his head with both hands as the grenade exploded. Sending shrapnel and debris everywhere and the Germans could be heard screaming from the inside.

"HIT 'EM WITH THE BAZOOKA!!" Blake shouted.

Aiming his bazooka at the last machine gun, a soldier fires it and hit directly at the enemy. "BULLSEYE!!" Shouted the soldier as he stood up and ran to the town. The others cheered and quickly rushed forward.

"Come on!" Wade said as he stood up, still carrying Fluttershy with him. "We gotta move!" The ponies nod vigorously and followed behind him.

Parker saw Reed threw his grenade and it quickly killed the troops inside the building. He looked at his friends and said, "Come on, we're breaking in!" With that, he ran towards Reed, followed by the others.

"Reed, you all right?" Parker said as he extended his hand to help the laying Private.

Reed took it and stood up. Wobbling a bit, bur he's able to gain his balance. "Never been better."

"Guys!" Wade shouted, getting both Parker and Reed attention. "What are we gonna do with these guys?" He asked as he looked at the ponies.

"We can't risk them in the frontline," Parker replied, "I need you to keep an eye on them when the situation turned out like this."

Wade nod. "Leave it to me Sarge."

"There's a Kar98k Scoped on the second balcony... I guess." Glenn said as he adjust his weapon.

"I'm on it." Wade replied. He put Fluttershy down and entered the house from a broken window.

"We'll talk about this later, now let's take the town!" Blake said as he leaned against a wall.

Parker nod and joined with the Lieutenant. Blake and Reed ran across the street and hide behind another house, followed by Glenn and Andrew. Parker was about to run when the door next to him suddenly bursts open, revealing a German soldier standing on the doorway with a bayonet on his right hand.

Parker, who is still processing, didn't have time to react as the grey soldier suddenly tackled him to the ground. The German put his left hand on Parker's face and his right hand raised high to stab him.

"Get off of him ya friggen' rascal!" Cried a southern voice from the left.

Just then, in the blink of an eye, the attacker was thrown off to the street. Parker took his weapon and fired three bullets at him.

"Ya all right?" Applejack asked to Parker, who is panting with his gun still aimed on the dead soldier.

"I'm fine Applejack," he replied as he looked at her with a smile, "Thanks." Applejack tipped her hat while smiling. Parker quickly stood up and join the others back into the fight.

~

"MEDIC!!" Reed called out as he put his hands on a wounded soldier. The soldier just got shot twice on his leg and shoulder. Matthew ran over to him and quickly put on the pressures.

"Go, I'll handle this one." He said. Reed nod and proceed his way inside one of the buildings. Parker could be seen aiming his weapon on two surrendering soldiers.

"Parker, we gotta keep pushing." Reed said.

"What the hell do you think I'm doing?" Parker said as he fired at the soldiers. "Let's get going then."

They both got out from the building and saw Blake kicked a door and burst his weapon inside, followed by Glenn and Andrew. Wade is waiting for them on the other side of the street, along with the ponies. Both of them walked to them and ordered them to follow. Then, a German soldier walked out limply from a building. He's raising his hands up while looking at Parker. He's started to say in German as Parker and Reed just looked at him with 'what the fuck are you talking about' face.

"Just leave him be," Celestia said calmly, "He's surrender."

"When it comes to this, I better not take that chance." Parker said as he placed his weapon on his hip and fired a bullet somehow directly to his head. The soldier quickly fell to the ground as the ponies looked in shock.

"Why?" Cadance asked, making Parker to look at her.

"Why did you kill him?" Luna asked, slightly annoyed.

Parker simply stared at them with flat face. "You know the rules of war didn't you Luna?"

"Yes, but it's not like-"

"Shh..." Reed hushed them as he looked at the sky.

"What?" Parker asked.

"Did ya hear that?" Reed asked. Parker listened carefully. Only the sound of gun fires and screaming soldiers could be heard, other than that, nothing.

"Nope," Parker said as he walked to the road, "Didn't hear anything except for our fight. Also, I'm not in the mood for jokes Private."

"This isn't a goddamn joke! I swear to God I heard a-"

An explosion lands right in front of Parker as he was thrown away and crashed to a wall, making him scream in pain.

"PARKER!!" Reed shouted as he ran to the sergeant.

"INCOMING!!" Blake shouted, walking out of the house. Mortars and artillery fire began to shower on the small town as the American soldiers leaned against walls or hide inside the buildings.

"EVERYONE TAKE COVER!!" Reed shouted and looked at the ponies. "WE BETTER GET INSIDE A HOUSE!!" Parker stood up and ran across the street and break through one of the windows as he jumped and rolled inside. The others hurtled in to the house and the ponies quickly hugged in one group.

Parker, being a true soldier he is, seeing the other soldiers still fighting in the street, quickly ran outside and warned the soldiers.

"GET OUTTA THERE!! FIND SOME COVER!!" Parker shouted. The soldiers ran into different direction as they started to find covers. Many of them hide in buildings or leaned against walls on the street.

"GO!! GET OUTTA THERE!! MOVE!! MOVE!!" Parker was still out in the open, yelling for the men to move. Another explosion in front of him, causing him to fly backwards and hit the wall.

"Parker!" Reed shouted as he ran to him. Parker's ears buzzed like hell as he looked to his left and right. Time seems to be slowing down as he looked at another explosion.

"Parker!" He heard a voice through his ringing ears, but he still sitting there.

"Parker!" An explosion on his sight. Two soldiers were flying and land on the ground. One of them is missing a leg.

"Parker!" He felt himself being dragged into the house as he saw another soldier got shot multiple times on his chest.

"Son of a bitch!" Reed dragged Parker inside the house and leaned him against a wall. His face and his left arm is bleeding from shrapnel.

"MEDIC!!" Reed called out and ran outside the building to find a medic. "I NEED A GODDAMN MEDIC!!" The ponies soon gathered around Parker, who is still regaining his composure.

"Gosh dude, what happened to you?" Shining asked. Parker simply looked at him with blank expression.

"Oh my," Twilight gasped and quickly sat down next to him, examining his cuts, "That is not good. Let me heal you."

"No need," Parker said limply, "I'm fine Twilight."

"No you're not!" Rainbow exclaimed as she landed next to Twilight, "You're going to do as Twilight say, no buts. Or I'll kick your hairless butt out of this town."

Parker only sighed and nod. Twilight's horn began to glow purple as another purple aura began to surround Parker's body. He felt warmth throughout the aura. Seconds later, the aura goes away and Parker quickly examined his cuts. No cuts. He's healthy as new. He smiled and ruffled Twilight's mane.

"Dang! Thanks Twi!" He chuckled.

Twilight giggled and looked up at him. "Let's just say that it's the way for me to say thank you for taking care of us."

Reed came with Matthew while panting for air and searched for Parker. As he looked at the healthy sergeant, he stared and his eyes twitch a little. "How did you..."

"You said he needs a medic," Matthew said, looking at Parker, then to the dumbfounded Reed, "You kiddin' me?"

"I swear to God his face and arm is fucking bleeding!" Reed exclaimed.

"Well," Matthew retort, "He looks fine to me."

It took every single willpower that Parker had to suppress the laughter that's going to burst in any second right now.

"You know what, there still soldiers outside that needs my help." With that, Matthew walked out of the house and quickly search for any wounded soldiers. Reed stared at Parker, who is still suppressing his laugh.

"You..." Reed tried to form words, but none of them seems to come out from his mind.

"Twilight here saved me," Parker simply replied, "Magic."

Reed stared at Twilight, then back to him. "You're a goddamn asshole sometimes."

"Sometimes." Parker chuckled and shrugged.

"Wait a second," Reed said as he pointed up a finger, "Where is this Pak 40 that you're talking about before we get here?"

Parker stood there in silence. Shit, he totally forgot about the Pak 40. But where is it? It should be in this small town and they could easily locate it.

"Umm... what is that?" Pinkie asked while pointing a hoof to the house across them. They turned their gaze and on the large window, they saw a black long metal pointing at their direction. Parker's eyes widened as he knew what it was.

"IT'S THE FUCKIN' PAK 40!!" Reed shouted as he immediately ducked into cover.

"GET DOWN!!" Parker ordered. The ponies followed very fast.

BOOM!

The Pak fires it's main gun directly to the house they're hiding at. The wall explodes and threw it's debris and glasses of the windows everywhere. Parker hugged Twilight and Spike as he covered them with his own body.

"Is everybody all right?" Parker asked while looking around.

Reed gave him a thumbs up. "I'm good."

"We're all good." Celestia said as she coughed lightly.

"Sister, you all right?" Luna asked, which Celestia nod with a smile.

Parker stood up and saw the anti tank gun was being raided by other soldiers. "Fuckin' Krauts." He muttered.

~

The Germans were outgunned and outnumbered by the Americans as they tried to ran away to an open field. But Parker, Reed, Andrew and Matthew wipe them all with their weapons. Parker sighed in relief as he went back to town.

"So we did it?" Reed asked as he followed his pace.

Parker shrugged. "Pretty much." They walked into a bar, where the ponies were sitting around a table. But Wade is nowhere to be seen.

"Where's Wade?" Parker asked.

"Oh, I believe he's searching more bullets for his weapon." Celestia respond.

"So he got the Kar, heh?" Reed chuckled as he sat down on a chair.

"Is it over?" Twilight asked, hoping that the Germans would just give up.

Parker took a seat next to her and smile. "It's over Twilight." He then looked at Matthew. "How many casualties?"

Matthew shook his head with a sigh. "Blake and Glenn were unfortunate enough. Blake was shot on the leg and Glenn nearly lost an eye." The room fell silent when they heard it.

"Other than that," Matthew continued, "Nine soldiers confirm killed and twelve injured."

Parker sighed as he took off his helmet and ran a hand through his hair. Twilight put a hoof on his thigh and looked at Matthew.

"Bring Blake and Glenn here." She said sternly.

"What?" Matthew response a little bit shock, "What are you thinking? They're with the medics right now."

"Just bring 'em here," Parker said as he looked up, "Trust her. She can heal them." Matthew nod and walked out of the bar.

"How's it goin'?" Wade suddenly asked as he stepped inside the bar with Kar 98k Scoped on his hand.

"This town is safe," Parker said, "But we still have a long way to go in order to make our move to Berlin." He then turned to look at Spike. "Spike, don't you ever do like that again."

"Do what?" He asked, confused.

"Like when I tried to save one ass in the middle of an MG fire and you suddenly appear out of nowhere and helped me."

"I was only trying to help."

Parker sighed. "I know, but it's too dangerous. You might get yourself killed."

"Then what about you, dear?" Rarity asked, "You're suddenly ran and helped him to get into cover."

Parker looked at her. In fact, he didn't even know why he wanted to help that soldier. Probably it's because Blake and Celestia arguing about it and his body move on it's own accord without thinking of any risks that might come to him.

"Meh," he shrugged as he slumped back on his chair, "Guess my body wants me to do so. I can't argue with that."

"So we're staying here?" Andrew asked.

Parker looked at him, then to the road. "Yeah, we'll probably leave this town tomorrow and capture Hill 30, our next objective." He noticed that Twilight is looking at the floor. He wrapped his arm around her and said, "Don't worry Twilight. I'm always by your side remember?" She smiled as she looked up at him.

"Thank you." She said softly.

Reed sighed as he lay down on the floor and closed his eyes. "I had a bad feeling about this."

Author's Notes:

There will be Part 2, so just wait!

Battle of Bloody Gulch (The Battle for Carentan - Part 2)

Twilight's P.O.V.

I look at him as he lay down on the floor. He looks so peaceful when he rests. His breathing is slow as his chest move up and down in a steady pace. I couldn't help but watch him with a smile on my face. He's so kind to us. He helped us, no... he even stands in front of us just to protect us. He fought with Graceland. To show him that we're not an enemy to them. He didn't even care if he had to die or not. He want nothing more than to keep us alive. So that we can all go home together.

Together...

That thought hit my mind as my smile turns to a frown. He just lost his father. His father-in-law, in fact. He's abandoned by his real parents and now his mother-in-law is waiting for his return. To be in her arms again. To hear his laughter, his voice, seeing his smile. But he can't. He had to do this. He had to do this for us. For the country.

He never even get a chance to see his real family. I couldn't imagine what he has gone through but I bet it hurts him a lot. He's clever when he hides his feelings. He always smile when he sees us. He always laugh with us when we told him a joke. But I know, deep down in his heart, he missed lots of moment. He want to go home too. He want nothing than to be in his mother's arms again. And I bet he missed his father a lot right now. He missed his family. Much like we missed our home.

But he always said that, "I'll protect all of you. No matter what. And I will bring you home together. In one piece. You have my word." That's what he says. But I couldn't stop thinking about him. If we go home, what will happen to him? What will happen to all of his friends? What will happen to this world? He's the strongest in the group. And he always know how to make me smile and calm.

His warm smile, his laughter when he laughs, his warmth, his loving embrace when he hugs me as he tried to calm me down. I always loved it when he scratched behind my ear. I wouldn't mind though, it's so good.

I sighed as I looked at the huge hole on the wall that was caused by the Pak 40. It was dark outside. Some soldiers could be seen patrolling around the area as they talked and giggled to each other. The wind makes me shakes in place. Must be midnight. I looked at Parker who is laying with his weapon on his lap. Everytime I looked at the weapon, I couldn't help but shivers. That thing made him a monster. I saw the look on his face when he shot the German trooper down, even when the enemy already surrenders himself. But one thing that makes me think that he's not a monster, is that he's doing it for us. I know he's not letting any of those Germans - or Krauts as he called them - hurt us. He always there when we need them. I know that I only knew him for a couple of days, but just seeing his smile, I know he's doing it from his heart. I know that he won't betray us. And I know that he will always here. On our side.

I slowly walked to him as the cold wind rushed through the house again. Trembling slightly, I shook him gently. "Parker?"

He didn't respond, so I shook him again. "Parker?"

"What?" He asked as he slowly opening an eye. I smiled as I stared at his eye. The eyes that will not hurt me and will always protect me. He's like my Guardian to me.

"I... can't sleep..." I said as I put a hoof on his chest.

He chuckled lightly before sit up and pulled his green uniform off of him, leaving only his white shirt. He then taps the open spot next to him.

"Come here Twilight." He said with that caring tone of his.

I smiled and lay down as I let out a sigh, my back pressing against his... torso I believe. He immediately wrapped his uniform around me and hug me close to him. His warmth quickly sending my eyes heavier than before.

"Better?" He asked tiredly.

"Mhmm," I respond with a yawn, "Sorry to wake you up." He suddenly bring me on top of him, making me yelp in surprise. So now, he's on the bottom, laying flat on his back while I rest on top of him, still with my back pressed against his torso.

"Shh... it's all right Twilight..." He said as he rub my belly gently. I let out another satisfied sigh and nuzzled under his chin. It felt really good when he's so affectionate like this. "Now go to sleep. We had a long day ahead of us. Good night Twilight."

His heartbeat really calming me down. With a final yawn, I finally sleep in his arms once more. "Good night... Parker..."

~

Parker's P.O.V.

"Parker!" A voice yelled, making him jumped from his slumber. Twilight, who is still sleeping on top of him, quickly rolled to the side and onto the floor. Everybody in the room who is sleeping immediately wakes up from their slumber.

"Ow," Twilight winced as she rubbed her head, "Is it morning already?"

"What's with the noise?" Rainbow asked, annoyed.

"Dash, ya know we're in the middle of a war." Applejack said while adjusting her hat.

"Sergeant! We got a situation!" Glenn called out as he rushed into the bar. Reed followed behind him. Parker quickly stood up and grabbed his gun.

He was about to ask what was happening when gun fires and screaming could be heard everywhere. He looked outside and it was dawn.

"The Krauts are back!" Reed shrieked from the door, "We need to hold this town until reinforcements arrived!"

Parker nod and quickly rushed to the huge hole and stepped outside. "You ponies stay here. Glenn, Andrew, watch these ponies for me will ya!"

"You can count on us Sarge." Glenn said and Andrew nod.

"All right. The rest of you, on me! Let's go!"

"Parker!" Twilight called out as he was about to run. Parker turned to look at her, slightly annoyed. But Twilight's concerned look quickly vanished that expression of him. "Be safe." She said. Parker simply nod and followed Reed onto the battlefield.

Celestia and the others just watched him leave with worried expression.

"Those Germans are back?" Celestia asked, fear washed over her face.

"Worse," Glenn replied, "I was on guard when they came. They're bringing reinforcements and... I doubt that we can hold them without reinforcements on our side." Andrew sighed heavily as he looked up at the ceiling.

"God help us."

~

"Where the hell are 506th and 501st?!" Parker yelled as he ducked down to reload. The paratroopers were fighting with their best power to hold off the enemy's counter-attack. With whatever weapons they had, they're holding the Germans until reinforcements arrived.

"They left two hours ago! To Hill 30!" Reed replied as he fired two bullets to an unfortunate soldier.

"Fuck! And when will they come back?!" Parker asked again.

"I have no idea!!" Reed shouted back. Parker groaned in annoyance and started to shoot again. A Panzer IV came out of the tree line and rotating it's turret to where Parker was shooting.

Seeing this, the sergeant's eyes widened as he quickly got up from his position. "PANZER!!" He yelled. "GET OUTTA HERE!!" The others began to pour out from their covers when the Panzer fires it's main gun. The explosion sending the debris flying everywhere as they fall back to their next defensive line.

"WHERE THE HELL IS THE BAZOOKA?!" Parker shouted as he ran towards his squad.

"RIGHT HERE!!" A soldier shouted as he grabbed the bazooka from his back. Parker quickly snatched it from his grip and readied himself to fire at the tank. But when he saw it, he knew he won't be able to penetrate it from the front. He must hit it's side, if lucky, it's engine.

"We need to get to it's flank!" The soldier said while looking at the tank. Parker looked around in hopes of finding a perfect spot to hit the Panzer on it's engine. Then he saw it, the perfect spot.

"Reed! Matthew! You guys on me!" Parker was about to stood up but stopped when the soldier asked him.

"What about me, Sarge?"

"What's your name Private?" He asked impatiently.

"Private Leon, Sir." He replied.

Parker nod. "All right, you can come." As the four of them move from cover to cover, they manage to get inside a building just in time when the Germans realised their presence. But Parker didn't realised that the Panzer was already have them on it's sight.

"We gotta destroy that tank!" Reed said while leaning against the wall.

Parker stood up at the doorway and was about to fire when he saw the Panzer was already aiming for them. His eyes turned to pinpricks and knew what was going to happen next cause he didn't have time to do anything.

"GET DOWN!!"

BOOM!

The explosion sent Parker flying backwards and rolled off a table. Reed, Matthew and Leon was lying rolling on the floor in agony. Well, not all of them. Reed's right leg was struck down by a wall and he couldn't move.

"FUCK!!" He screamed as he gritted his teeth.

Parker blinked a few times before regaining his consciousness. He saw Reed, and then the bazooka in front of him. He reached it but he quickly drew his hands back when they started to taking heavy fire from the Germans. Reed was laying and covering his head with both hands.

"Stay there Reed! Don't move!" Parker ordered, "If you move, they're gonna kill you!"

"EASY FOR YOU TO SAY WHEN YOUR ASS DIDN'T FUCKED UP!!" Reed retorted, and covered his head again when bullets sprayed over them. Parker looked at the two soldiers, who is shooting at the Germans.

"GET THE BAZOOKA!!" Reed shouted.

"I CAN'T!!" Parker yelled back. He grabbed his BAR and shoot an enemy that is hiding behind the tank.

Suddenly, a bright flash emerge between the four of them. Making they shield their eyes. When the flash was gone, they saw Twilight Sparkle standing in the middle of the debris. Parker was about to say something when she quickly levitate the bazooka with her magic and aimed it at the Panzer. Without another word, she fires it and she hit directly at it's engine. Parker, Matthew, Leon and Reed just watched in shock as they saw the damage that Twilight dealt.

"Twilight..." Parker stammered, still looking at the burning tank.

"Yes?" Twilight smiled innocently.

"What did I told you... back at the bar?" Parker now looked at him as he tried to calm himself down.

"Umm... to just... stay?" She said sheepishly.

Parker face palmed. "And why did you even here? You're gonna get yourself killed, you know that?" Twilight's eyes began to water and her lower lip trembled. Parker couldn't help but sigh heavily as he adjust his BAR.

"All right Twilight, I forgive you." Twilight return to her innocent smile again. "Damn ponies." Parker muttered as he walked his way outside. "Can you teleport back to the bar? Seriously, you're gonna yourself killed this time." Parker looked from his shoulder to Twilight.

The little purple alicorn put a hoof under her chin. "Hmm... I don't think I can. Since magic doesn't exist here, it will have to take awhile for me to regain my strength and magic."

Parker sighed as he looked to his front. "Stay close to me. Let's get moving guys."

"You mind giving me a fucking hand here?" Reed asked with annoyance. Twilight simply used her magic to get rid of the debris. Reed sighed in relief as he found no injuries to his leg.

"You can walk?" Parker asked.

"You can shoot?" Reed said as he pointed behind Parker. Parker quickly turned around and shot a German soldier. Reed shrugged as he grabbed his weapon. "Guess you can."

~

"D COMPANY!! HOLD THE GODDAMN LINE!!" Blake shouted as he fired his Thompson from his hip. They complied. All of them hold as long as they could until the 2nd Armored Division arrived.

"BUT WE CAN'T HOLD ON MUCH LONGER!!" Leon shrieked as he ducked down to reload. The Americans were outgunned and outnumbered by the Germans. They're bringing in more tanks and was bombarding their defensive line.

"WE NEED TO HOLD DAMN IT!!" Parker shouted as he fired three bullets. A soldier right next to him got shot on the head and instantly goes silent.

Twilight looked at the dead soldier with wide eyes. Parker noticed this and ducked down to calm the Princess. "Twilight..." He said as gentle as he could to her.

"He just... he just..." She stammered.

"Shh..." Parker quickly scoop her up and held her close to him. She sobs on his shoulder while Parker gently caressing his back. "I told you to stay put."

"But I just wanna help." She said while sobbing. Parker just shook his head, still calming her down.

"Why do you wanna help?" He asked.

"I don't want you to get hurt." She replied. Patted her back gently, Parker sighed. These ponies didn't know what they're up to.

"WE'RE SITTING DUCKS HERE!!" Reed shouted. Wade suddenly slides down between them and fires his sidearms at the Germans.

"Where's your sniper Corporal?" Reed raised an eyebrow.

"It's pissin' needles." Wade replied sarcastically.

"LOOK OUT!!" A soldier shrieked as he ducked his head. Everyone followed when a mortar shell exploded in front of them. Parker hold Twilight close to him when mortar fires and send explosion everywhere near them.

"WHERE'S THE GODDAMN REINFORCEMENTS?!" Another soldier shrieked as he started to shoot with his Browning.

"JUST HOLD!!" Parker ordered, "You want me to just stay here or not?" He asked to Twilight. Twilight released the hug and smiled at him.

"I'm fine... I'm fine..." With that, Parker shoots again. But he was more concerned with Twilight at this point.

They couldn't hold it much longer anymore. The Germans are attacking them with full force. Dozens of tanks came out from the tree line and started to fire at the town. D Company however, didn't fall back, nor do they surrender. They just keep fighting, hoping the reinforcements will come and save their asses.

Parker aimed at a soldier's head and shoot it, sadly he missed. He was about to shoot him again when suddenly an explosion send the soldier fly high to the air. Parker looked in disbelief and checked his weapon. "The hell was that?" He mumbled. Another explosion between the German soldiers brought his attention back to the enemies. Then, on their right side, he spotted the reinforcement. The 2nd Armored Division.

"HAHA!! HERE COMES THE SHERMANS BABY!!" A soldier shouted with glee. Dozens of Shermans came out from their right side and started to open fire at the German tanks. The Germans didn't expect this and lost five tanks already. Without second thoughts, all of them retreated back to the tree line.

"BEAUTIFUL!!" Another soldier shouted.

"Here comes the Shermans." Reed said calmly.

"'Bout fucking time." Wade added.

"OPEN FIRE!!" Parker ordered. The soldiers began to fire back mercilessly at the Germans. Their tanks are in vulnerable position as they lost another tank.

"WHOO HOOO!! THAT'S IT!! RUN TO YOUR MOMS!!" Leon fired his Garand while cheering and hollering at the retreating Germans.

"BET HITLER'S GONNA SHIT ALL OVER YOU!!" Another soldier shrieked.

Parker couldn't help but laughed at his crazy friends. They won, they successfully defend their position until the tanks arrived. The enemies won't flank the 506th and 501st as they move further southwest to enlarge the American defensive perimeter around the town. After this, they're taking their rest and finally go home. And then off to war again.

"Parker? Is it over?" Twilight's voice snapped him out of his thoughts.

Parker turned around and looked down at her. "Yeah... it's over now."

Twilight sighed in relief as she sat on her rump. A Sherman stopped in front of them and the commander looked at the soldier with a smile.

"Morning chaps," he said calmly. Parker tipped his helmet to the commander. The commander returned as he began to look around, "You sure put up a fight here."

"Indeed," Parker replied while looking at the soldiers behind him, "They sure have some balls to do it." The commander was about to spoke up but stopped when he noticed Twilight is behind him.

"What the bloody hell is that?"

Parker looked at Twilight, then back at him. "They're our friends. It's a long damn story."

The commander shrugged, decided to just put the thought out of his mind. "Well, I ain't got time talking with you. We have to move and help the 506th with their bloody fight. I heard that Easy Company was holding on their own without tank support."

"You better go help them then. Good luck there commander. And thank you." Parker said with a smile. With one final wave, the tanks began to move to their next battle.

Blake walked up to Parker with satisfied smile. "Well Sergeant. That's a one heckuva fight we got."

"It is, Sir."

Blake placed both his hands on his hip. "You earned your rest Sergeant. Go and take Twilight there. I'll take it from here."

He slings his BAR on his shoulder and turn around, making his way back to the bar with Twilight next to him. She the noticed something. "Hey, your hand." She said as she looked at his right hand. Parker inspected it and saw his hands were trembling. He sighed and clenched it. Still trembling. Then, he felt his hand warmer than before. He looked at it and saw purple aura surrounded it and slowly open his palm. As it was openly wide, Twilight put her left foreleg on his palm. Parker immediately squeezed it gently and looked back to the front.

"Better?" Twilight asked while looking at him. Parker only respond was a nod as he kept on his walk. His trembling subsided as he held Twilight's hoof along the way.

"Thanks." He finally said.

Twilight smiled at him. "No problem. Anything for a friend."

"Twilight?"

"Yes?"

"What would Celestia and the rest think about what you just did?"

"About what I just did?" She tilt her head.

Parker sighed heavily. "You suddenly teleported in the middle of the battle and just destroy a goddamn Panzer. Do Celestia even allowed you to help me?" Twilight remained silent. "I guess not." Welp, there goes his rest. He will probably be arguing with Celestia and the ponies after this.

As they approached the bar, a loud, shrieking, royal voice could be heard from the bar. "TWILIGHT SPARKLE!!" Parker could just stare when the building shook.

"Oh boy." Well, on the bright side, he's not the only one who's going to be a pancake.

The Rumor

D-Day Plus 23
Carentan, Normandy

Parker's P.O.V.

The sun was shining brightly on top of me as I made my way through the streets of Carentan. Since the Battle of Bloody Gulch ended, the General wanted us to stay and protect the town until an undetermined time. We were glad when we heard the news and that was our chance to gained our strength to go to the next battle. But I've heard that we're going back to Britain for our rest and training. Seems fine with me though, of course the ponies glad that they're going to a place that was a lot safer than France. And they seemed to be getting used to be in this war. But I still had to keep an eye on Fluttershy to make sure she's not too scared about all this thing.

Rainbow Dash for example, same as Applejack, she even knock out one of the German soldiers when he managed to stab me with his bayonet on my stomach. Damn, it sure hurts like hell. I thought when they're all retreating, there were no Krauts left. But it seemed that I'm wrong about it. The Lieutenant quickly double up the guard in the town to make sure that there are no Germans left. I had to go to the aid station for that, cause even Twilight's magic didn't even work. Well, slightly work. I remember when she used it for Glenn and Blake, it didn't work quite well either. But they recover nonetheless. Guess her magic could only heal cuts and bruises, huh?

Anyway, when I got back from the aid station, the situation was just fine. Turns out, the Germans have fully retreat because unable to take Carentan back. I even heard that the ponies helped the soldiers in any way. Like Twilight with her healing spell - guess she will be a medic for awhile - Rainbow Dash and Applejack for their bravery. Pinkie Pie with her jokes that simply put the soldiers smiled. Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Shining Armor that willing to gave them positive words. The rest, I don't mind if they didn't do anything. Spike for being an awesome dragon that will scare the shit out of the enemies. Rarity and Fluttershy for bringing the wounded soldiers back to the aid station. Man, these ponies coped up well enough. No, not well, better is the word.

And now, I was walking through the streets of Carentan to find my group.

"Sergeant." A soldier saluted.

I nod and return the salute as I continue my way to... okay, I don't know where the hell I'm going, but my main objective is to find those ponies and make sure if they're okay. Though, the soldiers already told me about them that they're safe but I can't get these anxiety out of my head. Graceland won't be too happy if he saw me though, cause the last time I saw him was when we have some talk back at the aid station.

~

"I can't stay here any longer General," I said with narrowed eyes, "Those ponies need me and I have to be there for them."

Graceland, who was sitting next to my bed raised his hand to stop me. "I understand that you're worried as hell Sergeant. But believe me, those ponies were okay. Your squad are taking care of them right now. In fact, they helped a lot of soldiers in Carentan when you left the town." He slumped back to his seat with crossed arms. "I think they're getting used to this. And I'm happy to hear it."

I sighed. "That's not the point, Sir. I need to get out of this aid station right now. Besides, I'm feeling better already." I sat up, only winced as I felt slight pain on the wound on my stomach.

Graceland shook his head before he stood up. "I can't do that Sarge, sorry about that. We need our best men to be in one hundred percent healthy condition to be in the frontline." With that, he walked out of the room before I could get a chance to reply.

"Well, you know who I am..."

~

"That old man." I muttered under my breath. Though, I smirked at the thought when he called me the 'best men'.

"Get the hell outta here now!" A soldier said while laughing bitterly, coming from my right. I quickly turned my gaze to the source of the voice and discovered that a paratrooper was knocking a Kraut with the back of his weapon. Another paratrooper walked out from a house. The German fell to the ground, still raising his hands and rambling that what I thought could be his pleading for mercy. Other soldiers soon began to circle the both of them, laughing and mocking the German soldier in happiness.

"STOP!!" I yelled as soon as I realized that the paratrooper was ready to shoot the head of the Kraut. "I SAID STOP!!" I yelled again, this time, running towards them. The soldiers turned their gaze towards me just in time when I rushed past the group and faced the paratrooper. His weapon was now aiming to my abdomen.

"Stand down." I growled. The other soldiers backed up a bit, but the paratrooper in front of me didn't lower his weapon as he just stood there and staring back at me with annoyance. "Stand down, and let me handle this... Private..." I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist, ready to punch that face of him if he dare to disobey my order.

He glared furiously at me for a moment before lowering his weapon. "Yes Sarge..." He said as he walked away. The others returned to their own business. I let out a sigh and turned to the Kraut that was staring at me with wide eyes. Fear still plastered on his face.

He started his rambling again, which I didn't fucking understand and it starting to annoy me. "Shut up." I simply said, but he won't listen. "Shut up..." I ordered as I knelt down in front of him, my tone began to rise. My hand was gripping my sidearms, since my BAR was with Reed when I got stabbed. He still continue his rambling, so I decided to just get this over with. "SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH, NOW!!" I yelled as I grabbed his collar and snatch my sidearms, pointing it at his jaw. He stopped his rambling as he looked at me, his lower lip trembling as he does. "You fucking understand English?" I asked.

"A little..." He replied while nodding furiously.

I nod once. "All right... get up." I ordered while releasing his collar and aiming my Colt on his head. He did as he told as fast as possible. "Turn around." I ordered again and he turned around, both hands on the back of his head. "Walk."

With that, he started his walking and I followed closely behind him; his head hung low. Other soldiers giving glances at me and the German but I didn't give a single fuck. I need to find those ponies and also I have to gain as much information from this soldier.

"Sergeant!" I heard a familiar voice called out behind me.

"Stop." I ordered the Kraut. And he did. I turned around to saw Reed running towards me, smile form on his face.

"Ya back already?" He asked while handing me my weapon. I return the smile as I placed my Colt and took the BAR.

"You know, aid station is a horrible shit. I don't like it."

"Riiiight..." He smirked, but that expression gone when he saw the German soldier, standing on his back facing us and his hands on the back of his head. "What are you gonna do with him?"

"Just saved his ass. He was lucky that I'm around though." I turn around and nudge the Kraut's back. "Move." I ordered sternly.

"You know I can speak German right?" Reed asked as we started to walk.

I raised an eyebrow. "You never told me about it. Next time you're gonna tell me that your father is shaving Hitler's mustache while saying, 'Guten Morgen Mein Failure.'"

"Hey, it wasn't my fault if I wanted to learn. Geez, why Hitler all the sudden." He retort, which made me laugh.

"Hey, I'm just teasing with ya."

"Yeah right. Besides, you're lucky to have me in your squad."

"How so?"

"Cause you're gonna need someone that could speak German in order to make them talk," He puffed his chest with pride, "Also, I'm the one who'll shave Hitler's mustache."

I laughed hard before replied, "This guy right here understands English a little." He was about to say something but I quickly cut him off. "Hey, where's Celestia?" I asked, deciding to just change the topic before this kid spoke tons of his education cockily. Mostly idiotically.

"Oh, she's with Wade and the others. I'm not surprised if Leon is with them. He always wanted to be in your squad, you know?" He said while looking to his left and wave some soldiers.

"Leon wants to be in my squad? I think I can handle that." I blinked a few times before asking him again. "Hey, you didn't answer my question."

"Oh right," he pointed to the front and then to the left, "Just go straight ahead, and then turn left before that truck over there. You should see them talking with the others." He paused for a moment before realising something. "Oh shit, I forgot to grab some food. I'll see you there, Sir."

"I won't miss you." I replied with a grin. He chuckled before running off to the opposite direction. As I turned my way to the left, with the Kraut still in front of me, I heard voices that all too familiar.

"And that's why we became the Elements of Harmony." I could see Rainbow said with pride. All of them were sitting in a circle in front of a house that it's door was wide open, and they're sitting on the sidewalk. Whether on boxes, debris, the ground, a chair, anything. Thankfully, they didn't seem to notice my arrival yet.

"It's like you guys have some sort of connection or something." Andrew said while adjusting his glasses.

"Honestly, I give up for thinking about how nature works on your world." Glenn said with a chuckle.

"Move and sit down." I said to the Kraut. He didn't quite understand about what I'm saying though, so I pointed my gun right next to his face and onto a chair next to Wade. "Move..." I said again.

He nod and walked slowly to the group. Wade noticed the two of us were coming closer but he quickly stood up when he saw the German soldier that was with me.

"What the fuck is he doin' here..." He narrowed his eyes fiercely at the Kraut. Seeing him angry like that, all of the group turned their attention to us.

"Sit." I simply said as I nudge the German trooper. He complied and sit down, he put his hands on his thigh as he looked around nervously. I sighed as I lowered my weapon.

"The hell is he doin' here Sir?" Glenn asked.

Before I could reply, my vision was suddenly became all purple as I tackled back to the ground. Twilight didn't give me a single chance to breathe as she hugged me right in the face, all of her hooves wrapped around my head.

"Oh Parker I was so worried about you!" She exclaimed as she nuzzled my hair.

"Twili... can't... fuckin'... breathe..." I said as I patted her back. Relieved, yet, annoyed at the same time. She released the hug and sat on my lap, tears flowing down her cheek.

"You're okay..." She managed to say between her sobs. I can't bear to see the sight as I pull her close to me. Not caring that my wound is screaming for me to be healed again. It hurts though, but I can't stand to see Twilight cry before me.

"Hey..." I said before chuckling a bit, "Why are you crying?"

She pulled her head back from my chest to see me. "I thought... I... I thought you..."

"It's okay Twilight," Celestia too began to chuckle, "He's fine. I already told you."

Twilight could only smiled sheepishly. Cheeks turned red in embarrassment as she rub my chest in circles with one foreleg. I sat up and scratched her behind her ear.

"It's good to see you're doing fine Sergeant." Celestia said with a smile.

I nod. "It's good to be back in frontline." I looked at the adorable pony on my lap, who was leaning onto my palm. "You're gonna get off of me or what?"

"Only if you scratch my ear after that."

"Fine..." I grumbled.

She chuckled before letting herself slipped from me. Just as I was about to stand up, another one came right onto my face. This time, was pink and the smell of cotton candy barraged my nostrils.

"Pinkie..." I grumbled through her fur. It's amazingly soft. Just then, another one rushed towards my chest, making me fall flat to the ground again while I'm trying to recognise who is the other assailant.

"Dash! What in tarnation are ya doin'?" Applejack asked in annoyance.

"Parker!" I could definitely tell it was Pinkie's voice. "I was so worried about you when you got stabbed by that Kraut and then Twilight tried to heal you but it didn't work! And then you need to get to the aid station because your wound is pretty bad and I can't help myself but worried when you didn't come back for more than a week! Cause I'm planning on making a surprise party with whatever they have in here after you got back from the hospital and when you didn't come back I was super duper worried that bad things might happen to you! So I just wait and wait and you never came back! But I-" She then was cut off by another voice that was clearly Rainbow Dash.

"Parker! You got me bucking worried for these days! I thought that you were dead because it was my fault that I didn't come in time when you needed help!" Before they both could continue, I shove Pinkie off of my face and put her next to Rainbow Dash, who was hugging me and buried her face on my chest.

"My, my, seems somebody's worried about me a lot." I smirked and looked at Celestia, who was trying to suppress her laugh. I frowned upon looking at her expression. "Don't..."

"You have no idea how much I worried when I saw you lost plenty of your blood!" Pinkie exclaimed as she buried her face onto my chest. And the same still goes for Rainbow Dash.

I sighed as I face palmed myself. "Listen, if you two didn't get off of me now I'm gonna use my fingers to bring hell on both of you."

Though, Pinkie listened as she slowly slide off of my chest, Rainbow Dash... she just looked at me with a challenging grin. "Try me." She said.

"Ya didn't know who are ya facin' with Rainbow." Applejack said with a grin. She knew very well who is about to win.

"Hohoo, is that a challenge?" I asked as I readied myself for my special attack. Rainbow's eyes turned to pinpricks as she knew what was about to happen. But before she could flap her wings and flew away from me, I grabbed her with my left arm while the other one assault her with it's fingers.

"FEEL THE MIGHTY POWER OF FINGERS!!" I said while laughing hardly.

"WAIT!! WAIT!! STAAHAHAHAP!!" Rainbow was now wiggling in my grasp but I'm not letting her go. I roll her down so her back was on the ground while I continue to tickle her.

"Parker, stop it." Twilight said between her giggle.

I stopped for a moment next to Rainbow, still holding her in my hands. "Give up?" I asked with wide smile.

"NEVER!!" She exclaimed, panting heavily.

"You said so." I shrugged and proceed to tickle her again.

"NO!! NO!! WAAHAHAHAHAHA!! STOP!!" She begged. The others too joined her laughter as they saw her friend was struggling to break free from my grasp, but to no avail. Even Pinkie was now rolling on the ground while holding her stomach. Her eyes began to water as she laughed harder and harder. Rainbow's hind legs were kicking uselessly as I lean my mouth to her belly and blew into it wildly.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Rainbow laughed harder. She kicked outwards but her protestations were adorably useless. "MY TUMMY IS SUPER SENSITAAAHHAHAHAHAHA!!"

"Give up?" I said as I pulled back, still tickling her tummy.

"YES!! YES!! JUST STAAHAHAHAP!!"

Satisfied, I slowly got up - not wanting to hurt my wound again - and looked at the German soldier, who was looking at the ground.

"Those fingers are really something." Rainbow said while panting. I chuckle and ruffled her mane.

"You have no idea who are you challenging with."

Pinkie wiped her tear away before looking at her pegasus friend, smiling widely. "Haha, Dashie, you should've seen your face!"

After regaining her composure, Rainbow flap her wings limply and sat down next to her pink friend. "You... you won't get away with this Pinkie."

"Why me?" Pinkie asked, tilting her head, still smiling.

"How are you doin' Sir?" Leon asked, deciding his best to ignore them.

"Like hell," I simply said while dusting myself off, "So, I heard that you wanna be in my squad Private?" He nod. "But before that, have you known these ponies yet?"

"Of course Sir, we've been talking a lot about their world. But you have to speak to my squad leader if you want me to join your squad."

I shrugged. "I think I can take care of that."

"I see you brought us a company?" Luna asked, making me look at her.

"Nah, I just accidentally came by when I saw him. He's gonna die if I wasn't there." I shrugged.

"Die?" Shining asked, "What do you mean?"

"Those paratroopers probably gonna shoot this guy if I didn't stop them. And I don't want any of that happen after that battle couple of weeks ago." I sighed as I took off my helmet, which Twilight quickly grasped it with her magic.

"Here, let me help you." She said as she put my helmet down to one of the boxes.

I smiled at her. "Thanks. But this guy right here might be useful to us."

"Such as?" Rainbow asked with raised eyebrows.

"Burying our soldiers." I replied.

"But only Reed here who can speak German." Andrew added.

"Fuck that. I know, but this one can understand English a little. By the way, is Reed going to get you guys some food?" They nod in unison.

"Darn tootin'." Applejack replied.

"He's gonna get the vegetarian meal too, right?" I asked to Glenn, which he nod in affirmative.

"How's your wound there buddy?" Rainbow suddenly asked.

I looked at my stomach and rub it gently, still feeling some pain though. "Think I'm gonna be fine. Besides, I've been through worse. And I never got the chance to thank you for saving me."

Rainbow waved her hoof dismissively. "It's all right dude, no need for that. I couldn't let any of my friends hangin'. Besides, you made your promise and this is the least I can do for ya."

"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes and sat down right next to the German trooper.

"Hey you!" I called out to a soldier that was walking nearby. He rushed towards me as fast as he could.

"Yes... Sarge?" He looked at my insignia before looking at me.

"I want you to take this soldier here to bury our troops," I said while patting the German's shoulder, "And don't do anything stupid alright. I'll come by to see everything is as I want to, ya got that?"

"Will do, Sir." He said. I nudge the German trooper and gestured him to stand up. After they both walked away from us, I slumped back to the chair.

"You really gonna go look for them?" Wade asked.

I grin as I turned my gaze to him. "Nope, he won't shoot the soldier if I warned him right?" Wade just sighed before chuckling.

"Where are we going next?" Fluttershy asked, slightly nervous.

"We don't know yet," I replied while looking at her, "But, I've heard that we're going to go back to Britain for rest and training."

"Britain? Another country I assume?" Cadance asked.

I nod. "That's right. Where you guys have nothing to worry about war."

"There's no war there?" Twilight asked hopefully.

"Hell yeah," Reed suddenly said as he brought a bunch of foods with two other soldiers behind him, "But you're not gonna seperate from us."

"That's cool," Rainbow said, "I really need some peace right now."

"We all do Rainbow," I said with mournful tone, "We all wish that we were home." All of our heads hung low after I said that. I could feel tears starting to form on the corner of my eyes but I must hold it. I need to stay strong. I won't let these emotions disturbing any of my duties. Besides, these ponies were more suffering than we do. Heck, they're from another fucking world!

"You know..." Reed started as he sat down, "I really feel like homesick sometimes. Just... imagining laying on the front yard, playing with your family. Listen to their stories, laugh together. I do miss it. But I'm glad that I'm here too." Me and the rest of the soldiers looked at him as he looked back with a smile. "No matter how far home it is... at least I got my brothers right here. If I die... then I will cherish every moment we've been through together. From past, 'till present."

"And..." I added as I looked at the ponies, "If you guys feel like homesick, just tell us right away. We'll be more than happy to make yourselves at home." Well, be honest I doubt about that one though.

Celestia nod, to my relief. "Thank you Parker."

"Gentlemen." A sudden voice made us all turned towards the source of the voice. They looked behind me, and the only person I assumed... was Lieutenant Blake. He took a seat next to me as he pat my back. "It's good to see you're back Parker." He chuckled.

"Yeah, escaped from the aid station." I smirked.

"Escaped?" Fluttershy asked, "You mean, you don't want to be healed?"

"Oh they healed me all right," I replied, "I just didn't want to spend my days laying on the bed is all. And don't ask me how do I get outta there. It's a long story."

"Well, that's not the case right now," Blake interrupted and cleared his throat, "I got some news for you guys."

"What news? We're going back to Britain right?" Wade asked enthusiastically. The ponies' ears seemed to perked up when they heard it.

"Finally!" Rainbow exclaimed, "We get off of this country and have some rest with you guys."

Blake shook his head in disappointment. "Sadly we're not..." The whole group fell silent after that. "Listen, I'm sorry to say this, but these ponies are gonna come with us again."

"We're the only squad who wants to take care of them." I replied while rolling my eyes.

Blake snickered and looked at the ponies. "I'm sorry that this isn't over yet. But we're gonna move to Cherbourg on three hours. We have to assist the 4th Infantry Division and take Cherbourg."

"We have armour support?" Reed asked.

"We have, though, they're gonna be there a few minutes after we arrive." There was a brief silence before Celestia spoke up.

"Are there any more information?"

Blake put a hand under his chin. "Oh yeah, I heard this one and this is very interesting."

"Well, spill it out." I said.

"There's some rumors spread throughout the army. The marines found a creature. They said it's a racoon and it has the same height like us, humans."

"Racoon?" Rarity asked, "Well, I'm definitely sure that that creature is not from our world."

Blake raised an eyebrow. "Oh? But I thought it's coming from your world."

Luna shook her head. "No it's not. We don't have any species like racoon that could be the same height as yours. If we have, then maybe it's just a small creature that Fluttershy liked so much."

"It can talk." Blake said.

I looked at him with wide eyes. "It can talk?" He nod. "Great, another fuckin' a... creature from another damn world ended up being here. And I guess those marines wanted us to keep an eye on him."

"You're definitely correct my friend," Blake replied, "Though, it won't be so bad as you thought. I even heard that this racoon have a weapon that can change into any weapon it wants."

"Oh really?" Rainbow rolled her eyes.

Blake shrugged. "It's just a damn rumor. But if they do want it to be in our squad, then I doubt they're lying."

"Point taken." Andrew said.

"Is it he or she?" I asked.

"He."

"Right, so this racoon even fight with your soldiers?" Shining asked. Blake nodded.

"He have a name right?" Fluttershy eagerly asked.

"Well, we're about to find out after we meet him," I said as I looked at Blake, "Thanks for the news Sir."

"Don't mention it," he got up from his seat and placed his hands on his hip, "You all should take some rest before we're moving. I'll see you guys back at the convoy." With that, he walked away from us.

"So... we're going again?" Twilight asked hesitantly. The ponies seemed to lose their colours as they knew they're going to war again.

I sighed and got up from my seat as I walked over to her and sat down beside her. "Don't worry about it too much Twilight," I said as I wrapped an arm around her, "If you're not comfortable with it, maybe you guys shouldn't be on the frontline."

"No..." Twilight said as she looked at me, "I want to be with you when the battle starts. I want to help too. It's the least I can do to pay your kindness."

"But you don't have to if you didn't want to." Glenn said, a bit worried about these ponies.

Twilight shook her head, still looking directly into my eyes. "I made up my mind."

I chuckled and looked at every single pony in the circle. "What about you guys?"

"I will definitely come with you, darling." Rarity said.

"Of course dude!" Rainbow exclaimed.

"Me too!" Pinkie shrieked as she jumped onto my lap. I laughed at her antics as I scratched her behind her ear, making her coo and leaned onto my palm.

"Ya have our backs partner." Applejack tipped her hat.

"Well, I suppose that I should learn a thing or two about your weapon then." Shining said with a smirk.

"It'll be my honour to teach you." Wade grin while bowing slightly.

"We are all coming with you." Celestia finished as she smiled at me.

Reed turned around while grabbing some meal. "Well, then it's all settled, who wants food?"

Spike immediately launched from his seat and stood in front of Reed. His paws opened widely as he patiently wait for his meal, a smile plastered on his face. "You have bacon?"

Author's Notes:

Sorry for the delay on this chapter. It took me stupid amount of time to edit the conversation about these guys. Hope you enjoy it. And let's begin our journey onto the Battle of Cherbourg.

Battle of Cherbourg - Part 1

Author's Notes:

I'm really sorry for making you guys waiting for so long. Hope you didn't mind cause I need some time to myself lately. But for now, I'm making something new to the story. Hope you'll enjoy it. Roll out!

"COVERING FIRE!!" Parker shouted while running with his group. The ponies, his soldiers were now desperately running for their lives as they ran through the streets. Papers lying and flying everywhere, buildings were on fire and destroyed by the artillery barrage, countless corpses of soldiers, both American and German scattered everywhere.

"PARKER!! YOUR RIGHT!!" Celestia yelled as he saw a Kraut opened a window. Parker, with his skill, quickly put two bullets right on his head.

"GET IN HERE!!" A soldier yelled not far away in front of them. They could see the army was now making a defensive position on a town square. All of them were fighting against the German soldiers on two sides. "HURRY!!" The soldier shouted again as he sprayed his bullets to a nearby building.

Blake turned around and burst his bullets to the street, making their chasers quickly ran for cover. A grenade landed on Parker's front right. He snatched it and threw it at a nearby window. As it blew up, he was about to catch up with the others when he saw Blake standing in the middle of the road while giving them suppressing fire.

"COME HERE YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!" Blake shouted as he fired his weapon on his hip.

"Damn it." Parker muttered before looking at the ponies, then to his Lieutenant. "Guess I'm stuck here with him."

"COME ON!! COME ON!!" Reed said as he jumped into the cover where the other soldier yelled. He helped the ponies to get into their covers.

"MOVE GODDAMN IT!!" Wade shouted as he shoved Leon's ass into the cover, making the private yelp in surprise and land face first.

"The hell dude?! What are you, a gay?!" Leon asked. Wade quickly jumped from the other side of the cover and ducked down with his friends.

"You should thank me," Wade pointed his finger to Leon, "I just saved your ass from those Krauts."

"Where's Parker and Blake?" Twilight asked as she looked around. The others noticed her worried voice and quickly search for any signs of their leaders, but they didn't see those two paratroopers.

"You see them?" Wade asked. A bullet passed right in front of his face, making his eyes widened and quickly ducked down for cover.

"You one lucky bastard." Andrew said.

"LEFT SIDE!!" Glenn shrieked as he fired his Garand on the oncoming German soldiers. The paratroopers moved into cover and fought back.

"See Blake and Parker yet?!" Reed asked over his shoulder.

Matthew took a look on his surroundings. And when he looked at the road they just went through, he spotted their Sergeant and Lieutenant. "Over there!" He pointed to a building on the right side of the street. They could see Blake and Parker were hiding behind the staircase. Not far from their position but the two paratroopers were pinned down by the advancing army. If they made one wrong move, they're dead.

~

"You never leave my side huh?" Blake said as he fired some rounds on a group of enemies.

"I'm just here so that you won't do stupid shit alone." Parker retorted and cocked his gun, aiming at the street, he fired again.

Blake chuckled as he aimed down his sight. Taking a deep breath, he closed one eye and aim for the head of the Krauts. "One..."

BANG! BANG!

A soldier dropped to the ground as the bullets pierced through his helmet, aiming for another soldier, the Lieutenant took a deep breath before pulling the trigger. "Two..."

BANG! BANG!

Another one fell. Parker, on the other hand, shoot at wherever the enemies hid to pin them down.

"Go! I'll take care of this!" Parker said as he pulled out a fresh mag.

"Hell no! You're going first!" Blake stood up and ran across the street, making the enemies turned their attention to him as they began to shoot the running Lieutenant.

"FUCK!!" Blake shrieked as he jumped to the cover. Leaning against it, he looked at Parker. "GO!! I'LL GIVE YOU SUPPRESSING FIRE!!"

Parker was about to stand up when bullets continued to spray at his direction. Taking cover, he looked annoyingly at Blake. "WE'LL DIE IF WE STAY HERE!!"

Blake groaned in annoyance as he emptied his mag and took his cover for reload. "ON MY COUNT!!"

"YA KIDDING ME?!"

"ON THREE!!"

"FUCK YOU LIEUTENANT!!"

"THREE!!"

~

"GO SAVE THEM!!" Twilight shrieked as she looked at the two desperate paratroopers. They gasped when they saw Blake suddenly ran out from his cover onto the other side of the street.

"WHAT IS HE DOING?!" Luna yelled. But the fear subsided when Blake managed to get to the other side and immediately took cover.

"He knows what he's doing." Reed replied calmly. A massive explosion in front of them causing them to duck down for cover. The ponies screamed.

"WHAT THE HAY WAS THAT?!" Rainbow shrieked. "It's bigger than at Carentan!"

"It's..." Wade stammered as he knew what was about to happen.

"What?!" Applejack asked while shaking him. "Explain ta us what is that?!"

"It's the 105!" Glenn replied. The sound of the 105 mm shell could be heard as the soldiers looked at the sky in fear. "INCOMING!!"

BOOM!

The explosion landed right in the middle of the defence line. Causing some soldiers to fly from their hiding spots.

"SHIT!!" Reed shrieked and continue to fire at the approaching Krauts. Wade stayed closely with the ponies. He looked left and right, left and right to see if there's a German soldier that dare to take the ponies from him. A Kraut suddenly appeared next to Reed, but the young soldier didn't see him.

Wade aimed at his sniper and pull the trigger.

CLICK!

"SHIT!!" He shouted as he cocked the weapon several times desperately. "My gun's jammed! REED LOOK OUT!!"

Reed looked at the German with wide eyes as he saw him. The German raised his weapon and aimed it right at Reed's head. Before they knew it, a soldier stabbed the Kraut from behind, making him cry out in pain. Behind him, it was Parker. He came out of nowhere. Pulling out his bayonet, he let the German fell before he knelt on his chest and stab the enemy right in the face. Sending him straight to hell.

Parker looked at the ponies as he pulled out the bayonet. "You ponies all right?" He asked.

"Umm... hello? This is the one who nearly fucking died." Reed raised an eyebrow in annoyance.

Parker sighed. "You all right?"

"Fuck you." Without another word, Reed continue to fight their assailants. Parker could only chuckled at his response.

BOOM!

The chuckle instantly died when another explosion from the artillery fire landed near them. Causing the group to duck down while covering their heads. A soldier was laying limply on the ground. He lost his left arm as he just stared at it with the half of his face stained with blood.

"Matt! Get him over here now!" Parker ordered, crouching down beside the ponies.

Matthew nod and was about to stand up when the wounded soldier suddenly surrounded by a golden aura and slowly being dragged away from his spot. Leaving a massive trail of blood behind him. Parker looked at Celestia, her horn glowed the same colour and her face was filled with worry. Sweat poured from her forehead.

"Oh God!" The bloodied soldier screamed when he was pulled over to cover. "I'm gonna die? Am I going to die?"

"Matt!" Parker yelled. Matthew quickly knelt down next to lying soldier and quickly put him some morphine.

"I'm gonna die... right?" The soldier asked again.

Celestia shook her head as a tear manage to made it's way down her cheek. "No! You're not going to die okay?! You must believe that!"

The soldier chuckled bitterly as Matthew tried his best to fix him. "These are those ponies you guys taken cared of?"

Parker knelt down beside him as he took off his helmet. "Indeed they are," he smiled and looked at the ponies, "They're our most precious treasure."

"I'm glad that it's you that's in charged. I doubt the others couldn't handle these cute ponies." The soldier said, more blood coming out from his mouth.

"Wade! I need you to help me!" Matthew desperately poured more morphine to the open wound. Blood quickly covered his hands.

"They are good... right?" The soldier asked, looking at the ponies.

"Yeah," Parker replied as he knew what was about to happen, "They're our friends. Your friends."

The soldier smiled limply as he dropped his head to the ground, looking at the grey sky above. "Glad they're on our side..." With his final breath, he closed his eyes, never opening them again.

Matthew stared at the soldier, his hands slowly dropped to the ground and sighed in disappointment. Parker put on his helmet and stood up. A heavy sigh came out from his mouth. Explosions were heard all around them, but they didn't care about it. They had to watch a soldier died in front of them while trying to save his life. Especially this kind of situation was very uncomfortable for the ponies.

"Come on," Parker said as he cocked his weapon, "We still have a war to fight."

"He's not dead..." Celestia said between her sobs.

"Princess..." Shining put a hoof around her shoulder.

"He's not dead, okay?!" Celestia shrieked. Shining jumped from the sudden burst and backed away next to his wife.

"Celestia!" Parker yelled. "This isn't the time okay? This is war. He's dead now, no one can fix that. You have to control yourself."

BOOM!

The explosion caused all of them to crouched down, but when they did, they heard a screaming voice and it's coming straight towards them.

"AAAAHHHHHH!! LOOK OUT!!" Before Parker could react, a heavy object hit him right on the back of his head, causing him to fall forward and shouted in agony.

"Shit! Fuck! Ow... the hell was that?" He rubbed his head and gritted his teeth. Luckily for him, his helmet have reduced the pain a bit. But it still hurts for him as his ears buzzed slightly.

"Ugh..." A groaned got his attention and Parker looked to his left, only to find a massive raccoon lying on the ground; whining and rubbing it's head.

"Ow..." He groaned again. His eyes then darted to Parker, who was looking at him in confusion, shock, and of course, pain. "Hehe, sorry about that."

"So he's the one?" Reed suddenly asked, "Oh wait, Wade can you shoot that guy for me?" He pointed to a German soldier that was about to throw a grenade.

BANG!

The soldier instantly fell to the ground while the grenade exploded at his place.

"Thank you." Reed calmly said.

"Are you the raccoon every marine was talking about?" Parker asked while offering him a hand to get up.

The six foot tall raccoon looked at his hand, then back to his face. And he smirked. "I'm really popular here didn't I?" He gladly took Parker's hand and stood up.

"Sergeant Parker, it's nice to meet you." Parker shook their hands while smirking.

"Whoa, wait... you don't even shocked?" The raccoon asked.

Parker shrugged and looked at the ponies from his shoulder. "We've encountered these guys, so we don't have that much of a shock." He chuckled.

The raccoon smiled widely at Parker's friendliness. "You really are a different person. Just call me Bandit."

"Bandit?" Wade raised an eyebrow. "That's a neat name."

Bandit nod. "It is. I'll tell you guys later, right now we have to fight those craps."

Parker let go of their hands and grabbed his own weapon. "You're right. The name's Parker by the way."

Bandit chuckled before grabbed his weapon from his back and cocked it. The weapon was all too familiar to the Americans. It's the STG 44. One of the German's deadly weapon.

"Is that the STG?" Andrew pointed at the gun.

Bandit tilt his head. He then looked at his weapon and back to Andrew. "Oh, this one, yeah. I tested one of those weapons out there and, this is the one that I like the most."

"You have the ammo?" Glenn asked.

"Of course I did."

"PARKER!!" A shrieking sound filled the air, interrupting their conversation. Parker's eyes widened and looked at where Blake was currently hiding. Then he saw him, the Lieutenant was being pushed by the German army and he was trying to hold his best with his Thompson.

"Oh shit! I completely forgot about him!" Parker was about to jump out of the cover when a bullet bounced off his helmet. He fall backwards while blinking several times, still processing what just happened to him.

"Parker!" Twilight shrieked and quickly stood next to him. Parker blinked again before letting out a laugh.

"Holy shit... did that bullet just bounced me?"

"You're one lucky bastard Sergeant." Wade said and fired a bullet, filling the air with the familiar sound of Kar98k.

"I know right?" Parker slowly stood up. He then smiled at Twilight. "Don't worry too much about it. This trash here saved me." He pat his helmet as he said so. Twilight nod as she smiled back.

Parker was about to help Blake when a soldier shrieked. "PANZER!!" The tank emerged from the street on their left and fired it's main gun at the building behind them.

"FUCK!! WHERE'S THE BAZOOKA?!" Parker yelled as he shot several bullets to the enemies.

"I DON'T KNOW SARGE!!" Leon replied while throwing a grenade. "MAYBE THEY'RE INSIDE THE BUILDING!!"

"All right everyone gather around me!" Parker ordered and crouched down. The others followed him while the rest of the army fought their best to defend the square. "Wade, Leon, I want you two to get inside that building and search some bazookas." He pointed at the building that the Panzer shot earlier. "If you guys find it, go to the top floor and assist us from up there. Wade, I'm counting your skill this time."

"You got it Sarge," Wade said and gestured Leon to follow, "Come on Private, we got a tank to destroy."

"Bandit?"

"Yes Sir?" Bandit looked at the sergeant.

"You got anything else than that?"

"Of course I did." Bandit said with a smirk. He snapped his fingers and a hoverboard flew from inside the building Wade and Leon just came in. The next thing they knew is that the board was hoovering behind Bandit. It has light blue colour with neon streaks making their way from north to south. For them it's just an ordinary board but it's fucking hoovering.

"How the..." Glenn stammered with wide eyes.

Shouldering his weapon, Bandit stood up. "I'll provide you guys some air support."

Before anyone could speak, he hopped on his hoverboard and flew away while shooting with his STG like a mad man. They still watched him in shock as he disappeared behind a building.

"Okay, he can fly." Reed said with flat tone.

"Well, that's one point for us." Glenn blinked before realising the situation and quickly regain his focus.

Parker looked back at his soldier and his brain was working hardly to form a plan. "All right, Bandit will provide us the air support. Glenn, Andrew and Matt, you guys go help Blake. Bring some soldiers if you can."

"You got it Sarge." Glenn replied before stood up. Followed by Andrew and Matthew, the three of them jumped out of the cover and rushed past the bullets.

"Reed, stick with me and these ponies. They might-"

"TIGER TANK!!" A soldier shrieked, making the two Americans lost their bravery. Peeking their heads to look at the street, to their left, they saw the Panzer still being bombarded by bullets, on their right side, a massive group of Krauts was being hold by the marines, and in front of them, they saw the Tiger tank moving slowly towards them. With it's slow movement, the Tiger looked even scarier than a monster while Blake, Glenn, Andrew, Matthew, along with a few soldiers tried their best to hold the advancing metal.

"Oh fuck..." Reed grumbled. Never taking his eyes off of the Tiger. Fear already struck down his body.

"It's a goddamn Tiger..." Parker quietly said.

"Tiger?" Cadance asked.

"We're gonna need reinforcements now." Before Parker could think, the Tiger aimed it's main gun towards the building behind them.

"GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!" Parker suddenly stood up and jumped out from his cover. He knew that if they stayed, they could get crushed.

He held out his hand to help the ponies get out of the cover. Reed was the last one to get out as he instantly escort the ponies to another safe place. Parker grabbed his BAR just in time when the Tiger fired at the building. Covering his head with one hand, he ran past the bullets. A grenade exploded behind the running sergeant and he stumbled. Unable to regain his balance, he let himself collapsed to the ground.

"Motherfucker..." He grumbled and coughed a little. Just as he was about to stand up, a purple aura surrounded him and it dragged him to it's owner, Twilight.

"How many times you're saved by your teammates Sarge?" Reed asked in annoyance as he helped pulled Parker to the cover. Parker shook his head slightly to get rid off his dizziness.

"Countless..." He replied once everything's clear.

"We have to destroy that Tiger." Reed said while peeking his head to see the Tiger tank was fighting with dozens of American soldiers.

"But how?" Rainbow asked. "I saw you guys were like scarier than ever after you saw that tank."

"Tank? Is Tank here?" Pinkie asked while looking around.

"No, Pinkie. What Dash meant is that tank." Applejack said while pointing at the Tiger.

"Ooooh, he's slow though. I guess he can be a perfect friend for Tank too."

"It's a fuckin' beast." Reed said sarcastically.

"Guys!" A voice shrieked on top of them as they looked up to see Bandit hoovering in the air with his hoverboard thingy.

"What is it?" Parker asked.

"You better call for reinforcements! The least you call for those who have tanks dammit!" With that, Bandit quickly flew towards the Germans while firing his gun from his hip. The Americans were holding their best at the advancing Germans. But as time went on, they sustained heavy casualties. With the artillery bombardment, tank assault, and massive amount of enemies causing the American's line of defence slowly crippled away.

"LOOK OUT!!"

"WE GOT A MAN DOWN!!"

"WHERE'S THE REINFORCEMENTS GOD DAMN IT?!"

"MG42!!"

"GRENADE!!"

All of the soldiers screaming and yelling for help and orders made the ponies scared beyond their thoughts. But being in a war, they tried to help the Americans with their skills.

"Twilight! Fluttershy!" Parker yelled as he dragged a wounded soldier to cover. Twilight and Fluttershy rushed to him and quickly healed the soldier, along with another medic.

"Go," the medic said with a nod, "We'll take care of this."

"Celestia! Luna! Summon your barrier over there to protect those soldiers! They have wounded over there!" Reed ordered, and they did what he had said. But their magic could only used in an estimate time of 15 seconds. Because there's no magic exist on Earth, at least they can use it for a moment.

"Rainbow! Dash towards that house and quickly bring us some ammo!" Reed said as he placed a Browning.

"I'm on it!"

"Applejack! Pinkie! I want you to help Leon and Wade up there!" Parker said. The Earth Ponies nod and quickly made their way inside the building. "Reed! Help Blake and the others! We need to hold that Tiger until I can get connected to nearest reinforcements!"

Without second thought, Reed quickly jumped out of the cover and rushed to help his friends. While Parker desperately search for the radio. "Hey!" He called out to a group of soldiers beside them. "Where's the radio?!"

"Last time I saw it, it was at that fountain!" A soldier replied while pointing a finger to the fountain he meant.

Parker looked at the fountain before decided to bring Shining and Cadance as well. "Shining, Cadance, come with me. And keep your heads low."

They nod in unison while Cadance breathe in and out to gain her courage. As Parker yelled 'three', they dashed from their cover and ran as fast as they could to the fountain. Some paratroopers were there, screaming and yelling at one another.

Finally, Parker spotted the radio he was looking for. With a 'thank God' grumbling, he snatched the phone and put it on his right ear.

"This is Screaming Ducks! Does anyone copy over?!" He asked desperately.

"This is Second Armored Division, reporting in for duty."

"Hell on Wheels! We desperately in need of fire support right now! We can't hold this square much longer!"

"Roger! But we're gonna let your left flank exposed!"

"We'll get to it once you're here! We need your support right now! Our asses are being torned apart here!"

"Hang tight lad! We're on our way!" Parker put the phone down and continue to fight with the other soldiers.

~

"All right lads! You heard them, our boys need some help out there. Enemy dispositions unknown." The commander says. He look down to see the gunner, who is currently reading a book. "Anonymous! Stop that thing and get yourself ready! We have a work to do."

You look up at your commander while raising an eyebrow. Closing the book, you toss it away and calmly load an AP shell. "This better be good."

"All right chaps! We're moving out to our newest objective. Put on the horses lads, let's go!"

Somehow, you smirk at what will happen next.
