She layed there, in the shadows waiting for death to take its toll. She had been sitting there for days waiting for somepony to come find her. But her time was running out. Mare Do Well was bleeding severly and if she wasn't treated now................................

   Mare Do Well was going to die.

        Present Day In Ponyville

"C'mon Applebloom, Grannysmith runs faster than that!" screamed Scootaloo.

"I'm sorry but my hooves hurt." Applebloom whined.

They had walking for hours in the Everfree forest trying to find Zecora's hut, but it had seemed to move. The two ponnies had begun to get worried for it was getting dark and they had no idea where they were.

"Scootaloo i'm scared" said Applebloom

"Me to Applebloom, but lets not give up hope yet." stated Scootaloo

The ponies walked for about another hour when they stumbled upon a strange looking cave. They creeped up to the entrence and peeked inside to see if somepony was in there.

"Alright Applebloom noponies in there so i think it's safe." foolishly said Scootaloo.

What Scootaloo didn't know was that while she was searching the cave Applebloom had dissapeared. Scootaloo walked inside the cave thinking that Apllebloom was right behind her but really it was somthing else

Chapter 1/20

The Shadow

It was fucking Derpy Hooves. Derpy had been following them the entire time and also knew what happened to Applebloom.

"Ahhhhhhh geese Derpy you scared me." yelled Scootaloo

Derpy just stood there with a very Derpy look on her face.

"How long have you been following me?" asked Scootaloo

Derpy didn't answer. She continued to give a blank stare to Scootaloo who had still not realized that Applebloom was missing. Out of no where there was a shrilling scream in the distance. It was Applebloom. Scootaloo would no that country accent anywhere. She grabbed her scooter and tried to find where the screaming was coming from. It took about five minutes before she found Applebloom, and by the time she got there Applebloom was okay. She ran over to Applebloom in rejoice. As they hugged Scootaloo noticed something out of the corner of her eye, It was a dark shady figure that she couldn't quite make out. By the time she could focus it was gone

"Applebloom what happened, why were you screaming, where did you go?" panted Scootaloo.

"Well as soon as we found the cave some half lion half scorpian thing showed up and grabbed me with its stinger. I blacked out and woke up here and it was gone." said Applebloom.

Then out of the bushes came Zecora.

"Girls what is all the comotion. I heard screaming and came as soon as I could." said Zecora in a worried tone.

"Oh are we glad to see you Zecora, we've been looking for your hut all day."

"Girls did I not tell you, I moved to a new area after my old hut was destroyed by Discord. Here let us go to it, you girls can stay the night and I shall alert your sister in the morning."

"Thank you Zecora." said Scootaloo in a reasurring voice.

The friends then journeyed to Zecora's hut where they stayed the night. Scootaloo kept having nightmares of that shadowy figure that was there when she found Applebloom. She then woke up in a panic, just in time to see the same figure outside the window. Scootaloo wasn't scared, she got up without waking anypony and snuck outside. The shadow then saw Scootaloo and ran. The chase was on.
