In the peaceful and beautiful land of hyrule, Link the hero of time and bearer of the triforce of courage and Zelda the princess of hyrule and bearer of the triforce of wisdom are training with horseback chases, archery training and side by side sword duels.

"Alright Link, lets see if you can tag me on horseback. I will ride around hyrule fields and you have to see if you can catch me." "Are you sure Zelda? I mean, you are a princess..." Even if princess Zelda helped him sometimes, she was still royalty, and still worried about her safety.

"Link... how many times did i have to help your butt at times? I kept Ganon still for you to seal him away when we were at his crumbling tower, I aided you with the fight with Ganon in his underwater castle and I helped you on horseback against ganon! I may be royalty, but I can help myself..." Said Zelda, she didn't like Link talking to her like that just because she is a princess.

"Yeah Link. You should put more faith in her..." A white fairy came from under links hat. She was called Navi, and was Links guardian when he was living as a kokori. "Navi, your not part of this conversation. Get back in my hat now." Navi usually got on Links nerves, telling him what to do all the time.

"Link, I know you spent almost three days trying to find me one time but that doesn't change the fact that your so annoying at times!" "WILL YOU TWO BE QUIET!? Link, I thought we were training?" This is one of the few times Zelda showed her impatient nature in front of Link. "Oh right, sorry Zelda... I just wanted a nice, quiet time practicing horse riding but Navi insisted on coming."

"Link... You wanna know why I called you here? I wanted a nice time alone with you and watch the stars but when you said Navi was coming, I had to bring Epona and Swift." Whispered Zelda. Swift was probably Zelda's white horse. Zelda gave Link a quick kiss on the cheek. Link felt a little dizzy. "Y'know I can hear you guys! Link, you are so pathetic." Mocked Navi.

"Okay, THAT'S IT!!! Come over here Navi!" Link lifted his hat and started chasing after Navi, who was flying around the place. First Navi flew up a tree, and Link ended up falling off a branch she was hiding in. Then she was heading for a large boulder, and as soon as Link was close enough and she was nearing the rock, she flew to the side and Link ran strait into the large rock. But then Navi did the same with the rock but she went under Epona and Link ran into the horse, making her topple on Navi and a super sharp stone. Epona managed up and was galloping around frantically. "Now that wasn't... a good idea..."

"You THINK Navi!? Epona is hurt because you made me run into her!" Zelda managed to calm the horse by talking to her telepathically. "Its both of your fault! Why can't you two get along with each other!?" Yelled Zelda. "She started it!" "He was being annoying!" Said Link and Navi at the same time. Zelda sighed and took Epona somewhere away from the two to treat Epona's wound. "I am so sorry Epona. I don't know whats up with those two..." Said Zelda as she dabbed a wet cloth on the bleeding spot the stone hit Epona. But the stinging sensation got to Epona and she galloped off.

"Epona! Where are you going? It's just a bit of water!" Suddenly, she heard a loud neigh nearby, then a ghostly laughter.

"Epona? Is that you?" She saw the horse encountering a poe whose eyes were glowing red with rage.

"You.... have awoken me... leave me be... you four legged horror!" The poe was breathing heavily through it speaking, and must have been woken up from Epona's presence. But why was it being so cruel to Epona? They only get this angry if someone challenges it to a fight. "My kind... has abandoned me... and sent me here... in this hideous form... leave now!" At a closer look, the poe looked like it had the back of horse, and the stature of a pony! The poe starts to chant a mystical song, and Epona is vaporised into particles and those particles enter some kind of wormhole.

"What did you do with Epona!?" "I sent her... to Equestria... the cesspool... that abandoned me here..." Zelda was confused of the place she mentioned. "Can you bring her back? She didn't know bet-"

"DIDN'T KNOW BETTER!?. She was... a pony... the kind that... abandoned me... here..."

"Epona is not a pony, she is a horse!" The horse like poe must have been mistaken Epona for a pony. With that, Zelda takes out her rapier and kills the poe. She collects the poe's soul in a bottle and decides to show it to the poe catcher, an acquaintance of Link that seems more interested in poe's than others. "Link! Do you know where the poe catcher lives?" Link saw the poe's soul had some sort of horn on it. "Yeah, he lives in the lost woods, why? And where is Epona!?"

"Thats just it Link! This poe sent Epona to some place called Equestria." Navi quickly got out of under Link's hat. "WHAT!?" Said Link and Navi at the same time. At the lost woods, in the poe catchers hut, the mysterious man checks the poe. "yes... YES!!! T-t-this is t-t-t-the spirit of a u-u-u-unicorn! F-f-f-f-from Equestria!" Stuttered the man, who has obviously gone mad from 'talking to spirits' all his life. "I give up..." Said Link. "What is this Equestria!?" "I-i-i-i-it's a l-l-l-l-land inhabited by p-p-p-p-ponies!" The poe catcher shows a vision of a colorful and yet vibrant world inhabited by ponies, just like he said.

"T-t-t-t-this used to be a-a-a-a-a Necromancer who was c-c-c-c-c-caught by there leader p-p-p-p-princes Celestia! And was put down and s-s-s-s-sent to Hyrule as banishment. And his s-s-s-spirit became one with a p-p-p-poe!" He sounded confusing and it was hard to make out due to the stuttering. "I can h-h-h-harness his p-p-p-p-p-powers and let you use them to go t-t-t-t-there!" Link looked pleased. "That would be good, thanks." "Please w-w-w-w-wait then..." Navi slowly came out of Links hat. "Is he gone?" Navi feared the poe catcher because of his unusual behavior.

"Let him concentrate Navi, we will be seeing Epona soon." And after some magical chanting and unusual body movements, the catcher was done. "Open the bottle w-w-w-w-wisely... As it will m-m-m-m-make the portal when it is r-r-r-r-released." The spirit looked saddened and it had an aura the color of the wormhole it made. "N-n-n-n-n-now leave, quickly! I s-s-s-s-s-sense evil nearby..." Later, outside the lost woods, Link and Zelda are walking to a hidden place to open the bottle, but then a hooded figure riding a weird horse through the fog approaches them.

"Link... Link!!! You will pay! All that you did to me!!! Countless times of defeat!!! And I find you without your horse..." Zelda climbs up onto Swift. "What about me, Ganon!?" Zelda charges strait for Ganon, but he trips Swift with his sword. sending Zelda, Swift and the bottle flying in one direction. Link tries to retaliate, but Ganon gains the upper hand and charges strait into link. Toppling him and leaving hoof marks all over him. Links nose is losing a tiny bit of blood and Link has a black eye.

"Whats the matter Link? Too much for you now that your little pony, Epona is gone?" Link thought that  the phrase 'your little pony' seemed a little familiar. "Sorry Ganon, last time I fought you didn't use trash talk, in fact you don't even use it!"

"Do I look like I care!? You little whelp!" Ganon strikes at Link making him fly backwards. Link's face is scarred now, and he is starting to feel faint. Link then takes out a weird looking crystal out of his pouch on his belt. It was the crystal that he and midna used to transform him into a wolf at anytime. Link feels it's power coursing through him, and he morphs into a terrifying wolf like beast. "HA! Your puny pup form? You barely left a scratch on me..." Link had a little smirk on his face, that makes it look like he is saying "But i took you down when you were three times my size." Wolf Link ran under Ganon's horse multiple times to try and confuse him, and it worked. But Ganon had a trick up his sleeve. "Stop moving you little runt!" His horse stamped the ground which seemed to make a shockwave. This made Link lose his balance and run strait into the horses leg. What is with Link and him running into things? Link morphed back into his normal form. and Ganon was about to strike him in the heart! "Die, you incompetent fool!" Link fell unconscious after one last look at his blade. Zelda got up, and saw the bottle still had the poe in it! She took it and ran strait to Ganon. "Hey old man! Feel like taking a vacation?" Without thinking, Zelda opened the bottle releasing the wormhole. Taking Link, Zelda, Swift and Ganon with it...

Link wakes up and see's that it is nighttime. He was in a dark and gloomy forest, but it wasn't the lost woods. He wondered through the forest, hearing weird voices and seeing disorienting four legged shadows and dark skeletons reminded him of twilit beasts and stalfos's. "This is scarier than the first time I saw a redead..." Suddenly, he hears growling behind him, and finds a lion like creature with a pincer and a scorpion tail behind him. It was a Manticore! "What in the name of farore did this creature come from!?" At least it was alive, and not half alive, helf dead. He ran towards a weird looking tree, but the shadows raised from the ground. "Bipedal being, are you going to that zebra?" Said the shadow. Zebra? What is a Zebra?

"My name is Treeleaf, and we would like your help in finding ruby... she broke our law! Her mark cursed us with a vicious plague! The cutie pox..." The Manticore was getting closer, but its skin started to melt and it became skeletal. And soon, it looked like the forest was blanketed in blood! "Join us... You will never be alone." "I am not ALONE!" He unsheathes his sword, and the linding light os the master sword scared the shadows and the skeletons, almost like with the twilit beasts! "Get back! Or I will spill your guts all over the ground!" The skeletons and shadows started to talk in sync.

"Join us... Join us... FOREVER!!!" Link couldn't take it anymore! "Shut UP!!!" Link charged up a spin attack and it sent him flying strait into them, the hurricane spin was always handy at a time like this. And soon, he charged through them. They're dark rotting corpses melted off there body and they went back into the ground. "Maybe that hut is occupied!?" He ran strait for the door and avoided the undead manticores attack. He knocked on the door frantically. "LET ME IN! LET ME IN!" The door swung open and the hero ran strait into the hut. Suddenly, it glowed in a supernatural light, and the blood coated forest turned to normal, the shadows and skeletons were driven back into the ground and the manticore turned to normal and left in a hurry. "Don't you know that on the blood moon, the creeps on the forest come out at noon?" It brightened up inside the hut and it looked like a witch doctors brewing place. "First, who are you? second, what were those things and third, why do they only appear on a blood moon? "I am Zecora, a noble friend. But of my rituals you shouldn't offend." She spoke in rhymes. "So your name is Zecora? You seem like you like your rituals. wait, are they good?" Zecora nodded. "Those creatures are called blanks, undead ponies that had nothing on their flanks. When a pony called ruby got her mark, everyone got cutie pox and they going went crazy as a lark. They killed her, thinking she was the origin, and soon they all died and burned leaving they're suffering to begin. They drag anypony here on a blood moon, and then they corrupt them. Like what they almost did to Applebloom..." The rhyme was confusing but understandable. "Sad, brutal and yet they did not sound like they deserved it." "You should stay here, get some rest. So for tomorrow, leave for ponyville at your best. This place will be safe, so do not fret, they will not get you, to make you there marionette..." Link fell asleep after an hour of worry. Where is Zelda and Epona? and did Ganondorf come here too? And will those creeps be able to come in? I hope not...

Zelda wakes up in a desert, with a blood moon rising in the sky. Zelda has a vision of where Link is, he is being attacked by some kind of lion, with shadows and skeletons ambushing him from the front in a blood stained forest.

"Link... I'm so sorry... Wait, where is Swift!?" Swift was lying unconscious next to her. "SWIFT! Are you okay?" Zelda felt a presence nearby, and she saw these weird track like paths. They looked like ladders, only on the ground. But then a weird carriage went along the tracks in a fast pace. In fact, there were multiple carriages linked together, someone must have seen them because it screeched to a halt. A small brown stallion with grey hair stood outside and saw Zelda and Swift nearby. Zelda was still tending to Swift. "Howdy there mam! What are you? And what happened to that pony?" Zelda was surprised to hear the stallion talk. And did he call Swift a pony? Swift was a horse! "I am princess Zelda of hyrule-"

"HYRULE!? Isn't that the world of the so called two legged hero of time?" "Yes, his name is Link. What do you mean two legged?" It was kinda obvious in what he said.

"Well, hyrule has these so called 'hylians'. they have the same body build as you. No offence your Majesty..."

"It's okay, uh... What's your name?" Zelda was getting used to talking to ponies.

"Th'name name is Swiftsteed. The train is going to Appeloosa if you want to get yerself and yer pony up on the storage carriage." Swiftsteed has almost the same name of Zelda's horse. "Okay, can you help me get my horse Swift on the carriage?" Swiftsteed seemed a bit confused. "So... he's a horse and not a pony? Wow! Thats new..." "It's a she." "Oh..." Swiftsteed, Zelda, a couple of unicorns and some pegasi helped lift Swift onto the carriage. Zelda found the thought that unicorns and pegasi live with ponies seemed really confusing. "Well... wherever this Appeloosa is at, I better find help for Swift..."
